Viktor does not diminish his dignity by trying to block the unblockable; he merely holds his ground, and lets the energy blasts dissipate against his invulnerable skin. He spares the deathknight a contemptuous glance before returning his attention to Marlon.
It's... it's not my action, sorry. It's automatic, every turn for the rest of the scene, or someone uses Sapphire Countermagic on it. Necromancers can dispel it with Labyrinth Countermagic if they're of at least equal Essence to me, Void if not.
Waiting on Saif. :)
Also, don't forget the huge-ass cloud of fire that I just left hanging around last turn... not to whine, but if those are just going to be ignored (or if every enemy has a Survival 5 environmental immunity charm) can I unspend the mots and/or xp?
Hmm, that's a shame. I actually really liked the crafting aspect of him; it fit well with Viktor's empire-building ambitions. What'd you replace it with?
I suppose its' too much to hope that we could have some nation-building on the side?
Holy crap, I somehow missed better than two pages of mechanics discussion on here. @_@ My bad. On that subject, if anything, I'm feeling a little underpowered. Infernals don't have the immediate power ramp-up provided by I(A)M, nor clear analogs for some of the most insane stuff that Solars...
I will not be denied!
Furious at the foiling of his attack, Viktor flies out of reach of the Abyssals, just over Maxton's head to give himself a clear line of fire. Literally.
He draws in a deep breath, and opens his mouth, an orange light glowing from the back of his throat, as he exhales...
I'm sure he could eventually buy one, but he's only chargen level, according to the terms of the background. Kinda hoping he'll get to advance as we do.
He's back inside the private box, and I was assuming the fight was happening out in a hallway or the stands or something. So, ten, twenty...
Hmm. While I"m not attached to the Szmiya, I would prefer that the Henchman I spent background dots on and wrote a story for not get shredded in the first big fight.... there's a reason I kept Karal Ken'Ichi far away from the melee, shooting arrows and shouting advice. If nobody has anything...
