About the Roleplayer
I’m a literate para-roleplayer who dabbles in novella roleplay, as it is where I began initially (though I’ll try to keep it down for the most part - I know a lot of people don’t want to read a several-page long post, and I respect that, so I’ll work not to go too overboard, I promise). I prefer para- or multi-para roleplay but will also do script/chat style roleplay if requested in certain situations (you have to really sell it). I have been writing both in a recreational sense (roleplay as well as fanfic and other casual writing) and professionally for the last several years (professionally for nine-ish years (not including things published in minor-focused journals, etc) with minor published poems and short stories, as a hobbyist for about sixteen years).
Mun is not good at icon or gif roleplays and likely will not respond in kind. While I will respond to an icon starter or response I often will not produce an icon of my own - largely because I am terrible at making them and lack the patience necessary to learn.
I work full time and am running two separate DnD campaigns currently on a bi-weekly basis. That means that sometimes things get really busy for me - so while I might give you several replies in a row one day, sometimes I won’t be able to reply for two or three because of intense life load. Don’t worry, I will get to your reply… it might just take some time. That being said, if you’re worried about it don’t hesitate to shoot me a private message and remind me to reply. I know I can be a little slow about it at times, and I don’t mean to be, truly. Life just gets a little hectic at times. I usually do my best to post on my lunch break and at night whenever possible - but sometimes my wife protests and demands attention or another roleplay is owed a post already. Again, feel free to sent me an ask reminding me to respond.
I operate on PST, as a general rule (though I do work full time, as mentioned previously, and might be on at two am if insomnia decides to eat my sleep schedule), but was raised outside of the American vernacular and spelling system due to some years spent abroad. As such I often spell things the English way, and this can result in me writing with a bizarrely mixed vernacular that can switch between the two variations on the language.
I am not my characters, and my characters are not me. What I write as them I am writing as them and should not be seen as a reflection of my own views and ideas. Additionally, there is no guarantee that any given character will like your character if we write together and they doesn’t have a pre-established relation with them (in canon for canon character roleplays, in backstory for OCs), this does not mean that I don’t like you or your character, it just means that they doesn’t. I’m sorry, I can’t help it if they decides they don't want to cooperate.
This writer is NSFW friendly (this includes gore and darker themes as well as occasional adult motifs). That being said, all NSFW posts should either be placed under a spoiler or prefaced with a warning so we don’t set anyone off. Also please note that while Mun is comfortable with NSFW content, my muses are often not.
Pet Peeves
I prefer literate to at least semi-literate roleplayers, and may feel disinclined to reply if you can’t bother to use spell check. That being said, we’re all human, I won’t get pissy at the occasional slip up - that would be incredibly hypocritical of me, as I make mistakes as much as anyone else does. All I ask is that you at least try. I’m not a grammar nazi by any stretch of the imagination, and as long as you put some effort into differentiating between your and you’re, and their/there/they’re, etc., I wont be cranky about it. After all I still have to jump around with two/to/too when it gets too late at night. As a general rule at least try to have proper capitalization and punctuation, and I will do the same.
I’m not perfect, I don’t expect you to be, but I’ll try to put out a nice post for you whenever I reply, and I generally expect that you’ll be doing the same. I tend to give what I get in terms of responses, and will try to match my partner’s length but I don’t necessarily expect you to match mine (I can, on occasion, be a bit prolific - you don’t have to give me a massive response if you’re not feeling up to it).

That being said, there are some things this roleplayer cannot (and will not) tolerate…
- God-moding/Power Playing
My character is my character, they do what they want, not what you say they do. If it happens once I’ll ignore it, if it becomes a persistent problem I’ll talk to you about it, and if it continues to be an issue I’ll probably quit the roleplay (I will notify you before I stop replying all together, though - I will never give up on a roleplay without letting you know. If I stop replying message me! I probably lost the post.).
- l33t sp33k
Unless you’re T3R3Z1 PYROP3 or 2ollux or some other troll (fan troll or otherwise), or our characters are talking over IM or text and yours likes to type in l33t, I expect to see words written out as they were intended - with letters, not numbers.
That’s about it. I’m mostly chill with everything else, if I do have a problem I’ll talk to you about it - and if you have a problem with something I do, please tell me! Roleplay is meant to be an enjoyable experience, so if you’re not having fun, I want to fix that. It’s supposed to be fun for both parties, so lets try to cooperate~
What I absolutely will NOT write
Non-con (hinting at or discussion/reaction after the fact is fine, I understand it can be an integral part of the character. The actual act I will not write, it will have to be suggested and omitted from the actual writing of the roleplay. In some situations fade to black is acceptable.)
Pointless, plotless violence (violence for the sake of plot development or with a purpose, however, is totally okay)
Excessive Gore - I have a weak stomach, I can’t take serious detail into this area, please either fade to black or don’t get painstakingly detailed about it.
PWP (with plot, however, is totally acceptable - provided you are over 18 (honestly over 20 please or I feel like a creep) and is taken off side)
