priscus

  • PRISCUS is adopted daughter to the first Roman emporer, Augustus. Her twin brother is drafted at the age of 23, and served four years in LEGIOS IIII. The decimation of his unit was ordered by priscus herself, as she was very involved in her father's military exploits. Roman military tradition dictates that a decimated unit must put all names in a pile, and the one picked will be beated to death by the rest, as a show that they must improve. His name was drawn, and he was then beaten to death by the remaining nine of his unit. She doesn't remember his name, and this is a source of great misery for her. In her later years (age 20,) she continues to try and grasp for power, hoping one day to rule either Rome or invade Egypt.
