Lillith of Price

You find yourself on a bus, outside of your window there is nothing but swirling dark fog. You may have fallen asleep past your stop, taken the wrong bus, or know exactly where you're heading. The piglike man driving the bus seems to pay no mind to you, even though you are the only person on the bus now.

Before long you come to a stop. The driver turns and grins at you, his beady black eyes staring you down as you pass to get off.

"They say you can go anywhere in Price... Welcome home." He said with a cackle as he closed the doors behind you and drove off into the fog, leaving you alone at the bus stop.
The town was picturesque, the entire town seemed to be frozen in 1950. The swirling overcast sky overhead made it difficult to tell if it were day or night.

through the cracks in the pavement wildflowers popped up all around, one house across from the tavern had a thick blanket of thorny vines taking it over. It was lifted from the ground and seemed to be weaved into the tree that braced it, almost as if the wood had come to life and fused to the tree. A few buildings were crumbling but on the whole it seemed to be in good shape.

At the start of town there was a path up to the left that lead into the forest. an old cobblestone path that had been overgrown leading to the old prison. The prison now sat in rubble, inhuman growls and hisses could be heard inside, should anyone get too close. Beyond the path many vacant homes sat, The yards seemed to be a bit overgrown but on the whole decently kept. Across the street the businesses stood.

A small retail shop that had been recently restocked with modernized equipment, a silver sided diner, the old tavern, a treehouse, and a few other renovated homes. Past the shops and homes the town opened into a large circle, a fountain sat in the middle along with a courtyard of various gardens to the left, and a stage sitting directly to the right. many tables had been set up for festivities in the area.

beyond the courtyard sat a path leading to the large carnival, The Ferris wheel was broken, though most of the carnival still held up in good shape. the rides, games, and vendors were all manned by ghostly carnies and ghostly patrons bustled about. behind the stage a path lead into the dense forestry to a large lake and a series of caves. at the far end of town a large cast iron gate surrounded the old Lunatic asylum. the building was imposing with a nearly Victorian style build. the windows were barred and most had been painted black or had dark curtains over them.
