I nodded "You sound almost regretful for that fact"

I smiled "Do you still need to drink blood as well, or can you eat like a mortal?"

I laugh a little "I guess even pumpkins an improvement to that. But why couldn't you eat anything if you can now?"

I delicately slice up a lemon tart, eating it with a small desert fork. "I never was a fan of pumpkin myself."

I laughed a little, sitting down in a nearby chair "If you say so"

((Sorry I haven't been on)) I smiled and people whispered as we walked past, but that was nothing unusual. Looking around slightly, I was slightly relived that I couldn't see the dark lord.

I smile a little, not really noticing how cold you felt. It felt like a nice change to the scared sweatiness that most people had if they had to touch my hand for something.

I smile and take it, waiting for you to lead the way up the stairs.

I nod "Yeah I'm a little peckish, I could use with a snack."

I smile back, it not edged with any emotion other than genuine happiness. "As am I, Farator."

I nod "Its very easy to become drunk on power, convinced of your superiority over everyone else. And it always ends in your downfall."

I smiled a little as you said that "I like to think that I can recognize my own strengths and use them to my advantage, but I'm not always that successful."

I blushed deeply, flattered. "Thanks" I say, smiling a little sadly "But don't you think I'm really immature?"

"Its easier to break people's shields when your the one who oversaw their construction. It's also easier depending on how well you know the person."

I nodded "One of the best in the world. I was foolish to think I could keep anything from him."
