That is a good point! I think I'm biased; I had horrible experiences with adults online when I was younger, so err on the side of extreme caution in my views. There's definitely no skill-level difference between teens and folks in their twenties, I agree!
I agree with y'all, it's great for kids to be writing and exploring character creation and the stories they want to tell, but it is very, very strange to be writing with them online. It's healthy for kids and younger teens to write, just not so healthy or comfortable for them to be writing with...
I don't have the best auditory processing, so any scene without closed captions shot next to a road, or in a crowd, or Anywhere With Background Noise becomes a fun little game of, "Did he just say olive juice? Olives? Why's he taking her hand? Oh. Oh, got it. 'I love you,' right, context clues."
I genuinely like bad music. There's one album on Spotify titled Believe: Exciting Songs about Shockingly Mysterious Stuff, every song is the perfect kind of terrible, and I'd highly recommend it, lol.
