It's a very divisive film from what I gathered, but I was in need of something to take my mind off of real-life stress/issues recently and it was perfect for that. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the franchise outside of the very old PS1 game (I think it was Mortal Kombat 4) I played to death...
I don't see how this would be too controversial. While I won't refuse to RP with male writers, I run into a lot of male 1x1 roleplayers that seem to think they are just elaborate (or not so elaborate depending on the dude) cybersex. More often than not, I see them insistent on their RP partner...
It would be fun to write a shameless flirt without having people try and start instant relationships with them. I feel like people will just assume I'm fishing for ships, but it would be great for the character to actually be rebuffed, and not just in a "playing hard to get," but is obviously...
I usually sort of have an idea of how a character will end up, but not always definite arcs I guess. I mainly focus on individual scenes and like to set up a goal and some things that might lead up to it because I've been stuck in too many listless roleplays where neither me or my partner knew...
I once had a Tower Prep OC that was a #badboi loner nicknamed Ghost because his power was invisibility and phase through solid objects. He had potential, I guess but I was young and relied too heavily on tropes. Not to mention my writing was a generic mess as well. And then there was this one...
This would definitely be an ideal approach, especially since I don't always have romantic pairings in mind. Sometimes I just need a specific canon for a certain type of platonic relationship or banter.
This is slightly off-topic since it's not a search thread thing, but I really wish more...
Gotta agree with this. Being justly critical of social justice sometimes is cool, but you can tell by how someone chooses to express their criticism what type of person they might be. Both those terms are usually unironically used by people that I can't deal with so I save myself the headache...
I just watched a Youtube series called Wayne not too long ago so I'll throw that in. I haven't seen anyone roleplaying the characters from it besides a couple of Tumblr accounts.
Most of what I RP is pretty weird in one way or another, tbh. I guess the weirdest habit would be this thing me and an old partner used to do. They were these semi meta "interviews" where one of us would ask a character a question and the other would answer as that character. This sometimes...
