Literature What are you reading at the moment?

Not a book so idk if it counts, but I always read graphic novels with my clan. Presently one I dont remember the name of, and "If you touch my little brother, you're all dead" which despite the name is only marginally siblingy but is very funny. Honestly if described it kind of seems like something I would hate, so its kind of a miracle that the tone works so well that I actually find it really funny.

Chemical Hearts. It’s pretty decent. I’m also going to give the Ender’s Game series another go- could only get through the first two books last time.

Someones reply to me. Oops! I should probably go respond to that.

The Wicked Ones!
It's a retelling of Cinderella, but from the stepsisters' perspectives
Also working on A Frozen Heart, a retelling of Frozen with Anna's and Hans' perspectives
Im into retellings rn haha

Right now I am reading Inside Delta Force, and I work on writing books more than reading hehe... love audio books can to more things at Once!

Just finished Empire Of The Vampire by Jay Kristoff. Really engrossing writing, hard to put down. Much like his Nevernight trilogy, though, you really need to have the stomach for dark themes and gore. He doesn't go over the top with them but they are constantly present. Looking forward to the release of the sequel.

Just got back to reading 66,666 years Advent of the Dark Mage.

...Yes, its a graphic novel again. Thats what I read with my cousin. It was very indirectly the inspiration for my story despite the fact my story has diverged so far from that inspiration its completely unrecognizable as having anything in common with it anymore, heh.

I've got two current reads. Megan Rapinoe's One Life (I really look up to her) and Ambrosia Harris's Hades, the second book in her series on Hades and Persephone. I love Greek Mythology and have a cat named Thanatos, so you can imagine how I came across this.

Rn I’m reading China’s Revolution and the Quest for a Socialist Future, but I’m DESPERATE to read more To Rule In A Turbulent World (LSWW). I’ve read the first four chapters left online as a sort of “advertisement” and phew… I really need the rest. It’s remarkably thoughtful.

Oh, and I guess I probably need to finish The Revitalization of the Fu Yao Sect lol.

Just started re-reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as I watched the movie last night.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
Listening to and reading Dungeon Crawler Carl: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride by Matt Dinniman
Listening to Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
