So Rocky Siren, Alaska is the perfect place to heal and rest. This small island is located in the middle of a large lake, only accessible by boat or boatplane. It serves as a perfect vacation spot, especially to those looking to heal after a physical or mental injury. The island is populate with a number of wildlife and is comprised mainly of hills and two or three small mountains. Also found on the island are a Sheriff, a mail service, and a medicine man; the mail service also brings in food orders daily from a town several miles away from the lake. The housing on Rocky Siren are spaced out and the largest community is a little hill town near the coast of the island made up of about ten houses.
Karen, our focus of today, has recently experienced a minor accident resulting in a mess of stitches and stress. She'd been planning to vacation at Rocky Siren for the past summer, but seeing as Fall is about to set in and the stress isn't helping her injury, she figures she might as well take this opportunity to head down to Rocky Siren and spend time down there to heal and take a break from her stressful job and life.
However, one of the residents of Rocky Siren seems to stick out to her more-so than the rest. A tall, lanky, quiet man who seems to have an odd demeanor about him peaks Karen's curiosity and she makes the decision to make a new friend. But this initially perceived friendship might end up as something more.
