Jake wanders outside, pulling his jacket over himself. He began to shovel some snow, putting it in a large shifting truck. He came from a family which included seven children, including himself. They lived in a small cottage, and lived a very happy life, farming and growing crops as well as shovelling snow in the winter. As he shovelled he felt a snowball hit him, he gasped but then laughed, noticing his younger sister giggling softly and then run off to hide. He began to get a very small snowball in his hands and then threw it at her, smiling.

Lilah sighed, shrugging on her jacket over her black sweater. She liked the snow and all, but did it have to be so cold? Stepping outside onto her grandmother's deck, the brunette had to admit to the beauty the state seemed to have. Letting out another sigh, and pulling her jacket tighter around herself, she stepped down into the snow, her boots sinking into the white liquid, and started her walk around town. She'd only just arrived yesterday, having chosen to visit her grandmother instead of staying at home with her parents doing work all break. "Wonder what's around...?" she muttered to herself as she started down the street, looking at everything in sight.

Jake went back to shovelling and then had an epic snowball fight with his siblings once they were done helping out and had some spare time. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and didn't own any technical gadgets, and was rather grateful for a fun board game, and the fact they had a piano so he could practise his musical skills. His family had high expectations on all of their children, but were loving and warm,

As she continued down the street passing few houses, Lilah could hear the sound of laughter from many people. If she looked close enough she could see the outline of seven people, seemingly having a snowball fight. As she came closer, the picture of the seven, which she guessed to be siblings, became clearer, making her smile. She wished she had a family like that. The closest she had to a family was her grandma, her parents always choosing to work. As her thoughts drifted, she didn't realize that she was currently passing the house where the fight was taking place, only to find out when something cold and wet hit her in the side of the face. Stopping suddenly and blinking curiously, she lifted her hand to touch some of her hair, only to see the remains of some snow.

Jake watches as his younger brother quickly duck out of the way when he was about to throw a ball of snow at it, instead, it landed on a young girl who was a few feet away. He bit his lip lightly, and then wanders over to her. "Sorry, Miss. Snowfights can be deadly when you get to close I guess" He says in a jokey manner as he smiles warmly at her, brushing the snow from her hair. He shakes her hand gently and smiles. "I'm Jake, wanna play with us?" He asks.

Blinking Lilah , blushing lightly as he approached her and brushed the snow from her hair. "Oh, uh no harm done," she told him, shrugging the event off. She took a breath and tried to stop herself from blushing, hoping she didn't make a fool out of herself. "T-thanks," she murmured, brushing back her now snow free hair, cursing herself for the small stutter. Looking up at his offer, she smiled. "Uh sure!" she said with sudden enthusiasm. She'd never really had a fight in the snow, having lived in the city pretty much her whole life. "I'm Lilah." she introduces herself, shaking his hand.
