"Mommy, are they ready yet?" The intense scent of freshly baking blue berry muffins fill the kitchen and throughout the house, tickling my overly sensitive nose as I sit on my favorite wooden stool a little to close to the oven door, ebony tail swaying as I watch the little golding lumps of spongy cakes. Mom always made thee best muffins and always made them specially for me every Sunday morning since I was a little girl. "Not yet Lissy doll. Just a little longer." my ear twitched as her sweet voice traveled from the living room where she was reorganizing her book shelf. With a defeated sigh, I decided to end my torture and step outside for some fresh air.

Standing to stretch my all to relaxed limbs and silken ivory tail, I turn to look over my shoulder, letting a flirty smirk form on my lips as I briefly gaze at my hunky boyfriend laying lazily on my bed giving me an equally flirty grin. I never thought cuddling with him would end up being one of my favorite pass times. I made my way to my private little balcony and look over the scenery before me. I wasn't one for bright sunny day's, but I would be lieing if I said that the sight before me wasn't the perfect picture of peace. Clear sky, light breeze, lush green trees and flowers; even the city peaking from far off in the distance was captivating. I turn slightly back and catch (...) staring at me with a mixture of such intensity and peace in his eyes. This was the fourth time I caught him staring at me like that and it honestly made me feel a bit uncomfortable and...surprisingly nervous...but a part of me yearned for him to look at me that way and to never stop. "Why do you keep looking at me like that..?" he remained silent and simply stared for what seemed to be forever until finally he opened his mouth to speak.

I took a deep breath, inhaling the crisp clean summery air as I stretch my arms out towards the sky. As I went to take in another breath, I heard a loud explosion in the distance. Just as quickly as the noise faded, another louder explosion could be heard and the ground shook with its ferocity. "What in th-" soon, more explosions could be heard and then the sound of screeching, rumbling and even screaming filled the once quiet Sunday air. Everything started moving so fast after that. It was all a blur. I screamed when a large object crashed into the house next door and the wall separating our houses began to topple down as the earth began to tremble and shake beneath my feet. "Alissa!!" I could hear someone yelling my name. It was faint. It was on the other side of the house. It was "Alice!!" dashing towards the glass sliding door, I struggle to open it, tears threatening to spill down my cheeks "Alice! MOM!"

I turn back towards the balcony at the sound sudden sound of explosions. That perfect picture..the peace that I once beheld just seconds ago seemed to just be some fucked up mind trick. The simple cookie cutter houses surrounding us where now being smashed in, bursting into flames by strange, large black objects raining from the sky. The once green trees and bushes where being turned to dust. The once clear blue sky was being tainted by smoke as black as my heart. It bled well past my line of vision, blocking out the sun and filling the clean summery air with the smell of ash. "What the fu-...oh god.." suddenly a chill went down my spin and I could feel her fear and practically taste her tears "Alissa!!" I raced across my room and down the hall with (...) hot on my heels. "Alissa! Mom!" for the first time in my life...I was afraid. Not for me, but for "Alissaaa!"
The world has ended..or..so it seemed. Outside of all of the madness, death and destruction the twins toss and turn safe and sound in there beds across from each other. However, inside of there purrty little head's there is chaos...
Everything was destroyed, which mean's those who where unlucky enough to survive will have to some how manage without the luxury's that they where so use to in their every day life. No electricity. No stove top cooked meal's. No hospitals. Nothing. Instead, they will have to live like their ancestors lived; by building fire's, washing up in stream's and lakes and hunting for there food(Like them, there are some animals that have survived.]. Unfortunately, living 'cave man' style is only the least of there worries. The mysterious creators who had attacked earth still linger not to far from its atmosphere and occasionally land on earth to hunt and capture the remaining survivor's. So in addition to ducking and dodging the mystery monsters that hover above them undetected, our hero's will have to recover, repopulate and restore the peaceful world they once knew.
