• hello, hi! paint palette here. a longtime writer, returning to role play after some time away. they/them pronouns. i go by pai, pal, paint or whatever else you can think of. my coding is very basic, i am not great with codes but i do like for my threads to look neat and pretty.
• i don’t have too many rules, just the basics. i’m an easygoing person, i like to think, but these are still important.

  be lgbtq+ friendly. i am not straight and very few of my characters are, so be polite. the pairings i prefer are m//, f//, or nb/any. if you can hook me in with a great plot, i’ll consider m/f.

  activity. life is unpredictable. things get in the way, stuff happens, it’s alright. i would like a heads up if you want to quit or have to take an extended absence, but i understand if you aren’t able to. and if you ghost, that’s okay, too. no hard feelings.

  basic grammar. your spelling doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does need to be legible. as long as i can understand what you’re trying to get across, it’s fine if there are a few mistakes.

  post size. alright, so as long as it isn’t a single line, i’m not picky. give me something to work with. how is your character feeling? what are they thinking? if it has substance, it’s enough for me. if you want a concrete amount, i can give you a few paragraphs to something novella length.

  chatting and communication. we don’t have to be best buddies or talk all the time, but i do like to have a partner who shows interest in our story. whether by throwing out ideas or helping to push the plot along, we’re writing together, so i expect some collaboration. if you do like to chat, great, so so i!

• i have the biggest craving for something dark, sinister and horror-related!***
  
  zombies, zombies, zombies. my love for zombies never ends. i really want to write out a story where our characters meet at the beginning of an outbreak, surviving together and battling the undead.
  
  harry potter. magic, adventure, and romance. i just started reading the books for the first time in years. would really love to find someone willing to write all the way from year one and onward. it’s just such an immersive world (the author is dead to me though).
  
  weird paranormal situations. stores after hours, backrooms, shadow creatures, and whatever you can think of. i love the spookiness. it’s always halloween in my town.

  in a world where the ancient gods are considered to be dead, war has ravaged the land and destroyed the people’s fragile hope. it takes everything muse a, the ruler of this broken kingdom, has to keep things together. their desperation leads them to muse b, the ruler of a neighboring land. together, they might be able to form a tentative era of peace. this could be through marriage or a simple treaty. through their alliance, shocking secrets about the gods, the lands, and their futures come to light.

  no one really believes that soulmates exist anymore. it’s been decades since anyone found their soulmate, leading to the new generation of young adults to be skeptical and not wait for fate to be their guide. muse a hates the idea of being matched up against their will. they’re jaded, pessimistic and rough around the edges. muse b, though, is a hopeless romantic and loves the idea. they may or may not have a good life, but they always look on the bright side. maybe they already know each other, maybe they don’t. either way, both are shocked when they realize they are each other’s soulmate.

  muse a has always been a fan of the supernatural. they love all the classic horror movies, go wild on halloween, and spend their free time researching all the things that go bump in the night. it’s all just for fun. none of it is real and they know this. when they come home from work/school one day to find their apartment wrecked and a vicious wolf curled up under their kitchen table, they slowly realize that it might not all be fake. muse b is a werewolf who, on this unfortunate full moon, runs into a vicious hunter. after being injured, they take refuge in a stranger’s apartment. surprise, werewolves are real!
• for fandoms, i have to state that i am not confident with canon characters. i greatly prefer oc/oc, but i will give oc/cc a try. if you’re looking for accurate and perfect imitations of the characters, i am not the one for that. i would really like to build up a plot around these worlds with our own characters instead.
