Name: Konstantine Jorvulos Laevarden
Age: 28
Appearance:
Personality: Aloof and professional, almost Machiavellian in nature. Is very dismissive of those he deems immature or who appear not to take things seriously. A very serious man with a keen intellect.
Background: A scion of the wealthy and well-connected House Laevarden, Konstantine's father was the second son of the family's esteemed and shrewd patriarch Duke Komnien Avortos Laevarden. With his father resigned to the role of "soldier son" and his cousin set to inherit the family fortune, Konstantine seemed destined for a life as a minor noble. Comfortable, though not terribly important. However, he soon proved to be far more capable and useful than his station would suggest. While his father played second fiddle to his uncle and his cousin squandered the wealth and opportunities he took for granted, Konstantine pursued an advanced education and eventually came to be one of his grandfather's most reliable advisers. Helping his aging grandfather manage the family's finances and position at court made him an influential figure in backroom deals and guildhalls throughout the Empire. While vying with his now insatiably jealous cousin for power amongst the clan, he became the family's primary representative at court. Everyone was surprised when he announced his decision to pursue a commission in the military, as they had all assumed he was heading for a life of business and high-politics. An issue towhich his grandfather only ever said, "There are many paths a man may take to power." and left it at that. After obtaining his commission as a Lieutenant in the Gold Dragoneers, he quickly demonstrated a knack for navigating the dangerous array of political pitfalls in the Imperial Court as well as particular skill in his martial duties. He was promoted to Captain, and eventually joined Special Military Police as a Major. Some say he might make Lieutenant Colonel in a few years or whenever the current Regimental Commanding Officer retires. There are whispered rumors that he is also a high-ranking member of the Emperor's Secret Intelligence Corps, although no such organization is officially acknowledged. He is often the primary point-of-contact for military personnel conducting special missions for the Crown and handles numerous operations involving "unconventional" strategic considerations or "politically sensitive" situations and is currently attached to the Imperial Household Logistics Division as a Special Auxiliary Consultant (Even Argan's need to reach outside their readily available pool when needs warrant).
Division: Gold Dragoneers (initially), Special Military Police (assigned unit), IHLD (hosting unit).
Dragon's Appearance, Personality, Class, and Level:
Kylos is a Destroyer Class dragon of unusual intelligence and speed. He is able to create bright bursts of light to disorient and blind prey and foes. Coupled with his prodigious speed, nearly silent flight (due to his almost feather-like flight scales), and stooping tactics, most of his opponents die before even realizing they're being attacked. With extremely sleek and hard scales, well-developed musculature, and voraciously sharp teeth and claws, Kylos is very dangerous in close combat. His greatest asset is his intelligence however. As his species are incredibly intelligent for dragons even before being bonded to a human, the sudden jump to sentience often leaves them several magnitudes above other dragons in terms of mental acuity.
Magic Class( Elemental, Mana, etc): Konstantine's family typically use either Earth magic or Illusion magic. This developed from their original role as master glaziers. Using earth magic to create pure high-quality glass, and using said glass for rituals involving divination and optical illusions. Konstantine developed a unique talent at a young age. He could channel sights, sounds, and residual thermal energy through various mineral-based objects. Unfortunately, he couldn't control it and it made almost impossible for him to function normally. That is until the day his father showed him the family's original glassworks, where he discovered that when he focused his power through glass panes or beads, that his brain could make sense of all the information. Over time, he learned to control this talent, though he still relied on glass objects. Eventually he expanded his talents to include more traditional forms of earth and illusion magic, though his unique control of his senses through glass remained his primary skill. In combat, he utilizes a Dwarven-made air-rifle that uses a lever-action pump to charge the canisters. The increase in fire-rate and reload time comes at a cost to range, muzzle-velocity, and penetrating power. However, this makes the weapon uniquely suited to firing reinforced hollow glass beads in addition to conventional ammunition. By filling the beads will various chemicals during their cooling stage, they can be made into pressurized dispersal tools. It was while observing this technique that Vasya actually came up with his concept for explosive rounds. Though not nearly so damaging, these pressurized beads do explode if the connect with enough force, and can scatter glass shards and liquid or gaseous agents. Konstantine is also a classically trained swordsman and fencing master as well as an unusually skilled knife thrower.

@Cadenach Note, the Emperors body guard and his affiliates are all Blood Mages, People who can control blood, and all are from the Argan family line since that alone carries the magic of blood work. Although, all master apart from Azemi are older than thirty. Azemi is unsual for having become a master at 26. He could be a high expert. His power although is more suited to the Black Dragoneers, but that isn't a problem if he is a captain in the Golden Dragoneers.

Household Guard, not Bodyguards. The Emperor's Bodyguard would specifically guard him, the household guard are less specialized. They'd function as a standalone division. Funded by the Imperial Family itself instead of the Empire. Your blood mages would be like the Praetorian Guard of ancient Rome, whereas these guys would be more like the Janissary Corps of the Ottoman Empire. They'd run the administration of the household and provide a more reliable force under the command of the Emperor. As for the magic, I made him a master for the range of his talents and spells, not all of which are combat related. I was planning on him sort of becoming the deputy director of the Empire's intelligence apparatus eventually.

That would be more the Targan Family. The government fall into the two branches. Military affairs and protection mainly fall to the Targan family. The Argan family only holds as you would consider Household guard and retainers which are directly from the Argan line. Argan directly controls all political affairs. They are over dominating as their family is wide.

Personality: Some might find Liri selfish but she likes to think of herself as just outspoken. With this its not rare that she'll get into trouble for questioning the orders of her superiors and its almost a given that she wont do something if she sees no success in it. Liri is highly competitive and fierce and with her added stubbornness Liri wont take things lying down. Her prickly demeanour often pushes away any chance of making friends but if you were to get to know Liri you would find her playfully witty and loyal.
Background: Coming from a family of not just nobility but high ranking military nobility Liri has grown up with many eyes watching her. With her father being a general and her brother in the elite dragoneers her constant troublemaking, while gaining disapproving stares, doesn't often go any further then a simple 'slap on the wrist'. Joining the Black dragoneers was a way of appeasing her family and while she could rise through the ranks Liri has chosen not to and is content with staying where she is.

Liri's dragon,Carr, is similar to her in many ways. A fierce fighter and swift during flight, the two complete each other in many ways. Carr is often a source of comfort for Liri and might be the only one that can get Liri to think level headedly. Carr is a destroyer dragon and like Liri is adept in the control of the elements. However unlike Liri Carr has control over the air.

Sorry Lightning is a closed specialty. Only for Targans. Or for full elemental but it is much weaker than what the Targans have, and it wouldn't be the focus of anyone. Two, you are a bit young to be an expert. Three, you need a a family name. Four: You need to pick a class for your dragon. Thats all I see now.
