Fantasy V.A.G.E. ( A 1x1 VillainxHero Rp)

Declan watched for a moment as she brought the cup to her lips but didn't see if she drank or not as her phone ringing distracted him. He figured the caller was Carter just by the change in her expression and he listened intently. He could barely make out what Carter was saying on the other side of the phone but figured it had something to do with the raid going on tonight with "Wolf" or who ever it was pretending to be him. when she hung up and declared their game over he pretends to frown, "and here I was just about to find out who the great Lily James had a crush on." he joked as he stood up, "ah well, maybe next time, yeah?" he tossed some money down and left a tip before staring daggers at Eddie who just smirked at him, "I'll finish it next time, Ed." Declan said saying his name with a hint of playful venom in it. Eddie just smiled and raised a glass towards him. Declan has lost count how many times he had said that to that man but with a quick glance back to his cup he noticed it was just as full as last time he took the challenge. With one final sigh he followed Lily out.

when they reached his bike he handed Lily her helmet before pulling his out of his back back. He watched as she mounted his bike first before getting on himself. He wasn't even ready to take off yet when he felt Lilly had already wrapped her arms around his midsection. He looked back at her and tapped the side of his helmet, a signal she knew as 'turn on your Bluetooth' as soon as she did so he says, "you do realize you have to tell me who your crush is at some point right?" he says jokingly, "As your partner, I have to make sure he meets my requirements. If he isn't tall, lean, handsome, or rides a bike it will be a automatic disqualification." with that said he tapped her hands 'hold on' before he turned on his bike, put it in gear, and sped off towards HQ.

Once they reached HQ Liliana seemed to be back to her usually 'all business self' which was probably for the best considering the job coming up. He sat beside Liliana as Carter took center stage explaining the plans and everyone's jobs and positioning to protect the judge. Dixin tried to chime in, "The rest of these losers can stay at the bottom floor, Liliana and I can protect the judge ourselves, right babe?" However, he was pushed back to his seat by Carter before he returning to explaining the plan of action.

"Liliana, You have more experience fighting Wolf, you'll be out last line of defense." Carter explains before going down the list of names and where they were being stationed at. Dixin stewing as he was placed on the first floor, far away from Liliana. Once Carter was finished Liliana stood up and told Declan he was with her which Declan nodded before getting off his seat ignoring the death stare Dixin was giving him from the other side of the room. After the meeting the building was busy with agents going to and fro getting last minute things finished before taking off, "I think Carter has everything covered." Declan explains, "Keeping our inside agents hidden so Wolf can't tell how many we have stationed will be key to ambushing him, but there is no certain even with these numbers it will be enough, so we'll have to be on our A game." he looks at Liliana and grins, "then again, you know something about being on your A game don't you, Lily."

The sun was starting to set when Liliana and Declan approached the target building but instead of parking in front of the building Declan parked nearby a parking garage and they walked the rest of the way. They walked by two check points, One near the front Gate, and another in the front entrance of the building where Dixin was, "Hey, babe, if you ever get bored of this loser you know where to find me." he says with a smirk checking out Liliana as she walked by and sneered at Declan. The two worked their way to the third floor watching as agents stood guard at almost every corner but staying away from the windows to hide their numbers.

"All this firepower," Declan says, "all for one man who is targeting a kind judge...pretty different, don't you think, Lily?" he questioned. the pair finally reached the judges chambers and walked in seeing the judge was talking to Carter. Once the two noticed the two agents the judge gave them both a smile.

"ah, you two must be the ones this kind and handsome man told me about." The judge says.

James rolled her eyes when Dixin added in his two cents and all she wanted to do at this point was tie the man up and put duct tape over his stupid mouth. "Dix you really are a pain in my ass." She muttered while her arms crossed. There was no doubt in her mind that Declan had heard her say this under her breath. Carter put Dix in his place fairly quickly, as he is the one person who is one of her lines of defenses. Without him she probably would've killed Dixin more times than she could count. There was never room in her mind or her life for someone like him. He'd waste her time, bring issues, and far more. Those were people she always tried to avoid at all costs despite working with them. She firmly nodded as she had been informed she'd be the last line of defense as to be expected. Rising from her seat, she glanced at Declan once again and nodded in agreement. "It seems you're catching on quickly, Mr Harper. When it comes to him, you know I'll fight till I'm battered and bruised. As much as I'd love to take him on one on one, I got a partner now to assist with taking him out." The agent patted his shoulder "You should feel special. I don't let just anyone get involved with my prey." James had joked.

The sun was setting, the pair approached the building. However, they had ran into Dix once again and of course had still tried to hit on her "Dix, I'd rather date a trashcan. At least it can change for the better, unlike you." Walking by, they headed inside to the third floor while passing multiple agents. "I would say more firepower is worth it for someone like Wolf, however it feels like it's wasting resources. Especially when we both know I almost got him with my own two hands. It's just a matter of getting him to a point where he can be restrained. But I believe this is more for if the Judge needs to be escorted with protection. That's why they're so many but still..." Shaking her head, they walked into the chambers of the judge and nodded in greeting "Yes, we are. We'll be protecting you and we've taken all the measures to ensure your safety. We're unsure of why he may be targeting you of all people, but alas we'll still keep you safe." Holding her hand out, she shook the woman's hand "I'm Agent James, this is Agent Harper." Lilliana gestured to her partner beside her.

While the judge shook both their hands, they began to have small talk and explain what'll happen if certain things happen. Making sure she was safe was their top priority and getting her out was the key. As long as she remained competent (Which she was), they could execute this perfectly. Taking their positions, they waited in silence aside from the occassional sound coming from their earpieces. Despite the silence, I'm quite enjoying this. Her eyes shifted over to Declan for a moment before looking ahead He comes from Atlas as an Agent and has been one of the very few people who I could actually get along with. It's only been a month since he's been here but yet it feels as if he's been here for years. We share an office, to which we don't bother eachother in the slightest. It's almost as if his presence is a breath of fresh air. While she loved Jeannie and Isaac, most of the time she preferred to be alone. But yet, whenever Declan was around, he was let in almost like a VIP. The sound of air left her nose like she had almost let out a laugh more at herself. When Declan asked her a question, she shook her head "No, I'm okay. Just a silly... Thought came to mind."

Their earpieces went off and James instantly focused down on it "Alpha to team, there's some suspicious activity happening in the garden."

Immediately she had jumped onto it and looked at Declan "I'll go and check it out." Before she could take another step, he called out to her and she paused as he took initiative and instead said he'd go look. Her blue eyes scanned his face and almost fought over going to see if it was really Wolf, but she had to take this seriously. Not act like a spoiled child "Okay." Lilliana said with a nod "Go ahead. I'll remain here. Kick some ass for me if there is any to kick." When she had watched him go and was no longer out of sight, she moved to the front of the door and stood there almost like a brick wall, awaiting for something to happen. Now that her partner wasn't here, she felt a sense of lonliness while standing in the silence. No breathing but her own, and sometimes a sound here and there but nothing worth noting. Feels like how it did before he arrived. The only voices I ever heard were those through my earpiece like Jeannie, Carter...However it feels so foreign to me. What an odd feeling to feel, right?

While in the garden, it did appear that there was an eerie silence. Perhaps maybe something lurking within the shadows. Only time would tell as the agents that arrived had began to explore the area to see if Wolf perhaps may have been hiding somewhere there. After taking a look around, they regrouped, however as soon as they did, an explosion went off and that alone caused Lilliana back in her position to hear the boom from the inside and wonder what in the hell was going on outside. Whoever was in the garden would've died had Isaac not have such a power to harden his body and protect those with him from the blast. The fact that explosives were getting involved...Wolf probably did give up on fighting and decided on more destructive methods.

Declan and Liliana were standing guard outside an office, trying to look all professional, but Declan found the situation amusing. He knew Liliana was on the lookout for a certain someone who was definitely not going to show, and the irony of it amused him more than it probably should have. As he glanced over at her, he couldn't help but notice how the dim lights over head made her skin glow, her lips look softer, and her features more pronounced. She was striking, no doubt about it. Then, his mind wandered to that game of 'Never Have I Ever' they played a while at the café. When the question popped up about having a crush on a coworker, Declan caught Liliana's eye. There was this moment, brief and loaded, where he wondered if she was going to take a sip of her drink or not. He never found out since she took the call from Carter before she answered the question. Now, realizing he'd been caught staring again, he awkwardly shifted his gaze elsewhere, feeling a mix of amusement and what-if. It was one of those moments where everything seemed a bit more significant. Declan tried to shake off the feeling, reminding himself they were here on a job, after all. He looked over in her direction when he thought he heard her say something only for her to blow it off.

Even though they didn't talk much during this time they were still in a comfortable silence, Declan fully unaware that Liliana was stealing glances at him while he waited for something to happen. The moment someone spoke in their earpiece all his attention went to what was being reported, sometimes it was just someone checking in, Carter giving out orders and shift changes, and false alarms. However, that changed when the garden team suddenly spoke, reporting suspicious activates in the garden area. Liliana seemed to jump into action but Declan stopped her, "Lily," he called to her unknowingly receiving some looks from the other agents, "This could be a distraction tactic, I'll go check it out, you are the last line of defense remember?" he says. Luckily she agreed and wished him luck before he ran out towards the garden.

Declan made his way to the garden, a place now shrouded in tension and uncertainty. Upon arrival, he found Isaac, who immediately shared that one of his team members had reported seeing something move. "Has there been movement since?" Declan asked and Isaac shook his head.

"I have some of my guys on it, watching the spot. They're waiting for us to join them." he says. Declan nodded before they began their approach towards the reported location. Each step seemed to echo with a mix of determination and caution, as the air around them grew thick with the anticipation of what they might find. They were two high-ranking agents, seasoned in their work, but still cautious. As they reached the location Declan raised his arm over his nose and let out a groan of disgust, Laying in the bushes was a dismembered arm just laying on the ground.

"What the fuck?" Declan says totally not expecting to see this while waiting for this fake wolf, meanwhile Isaac took a couple steps away to throw up, "You alright, Isaac?" Declan called to him. Sure, the arm was gross but it didn't effect him like it did Isaac, he has seen worse things during his time at Atlas.

"Y-yeah." Isaac says with a wave, "just surprised is all." there was a small pause before isaac's eyes widen, "Declan!" Declan quickly faced Isaac before he ran towards Isaac and saw a body. Declan didn't waste anytime as he kneeled down to check for a pulse.

"Shit..." Declan says as he felt no pulse, "it's a fresh kill too...but..." he noticed this body still had both arms so that arm belonged to someone else. Declan didn't like where this was going, "This is agent Harper to Entrance team, come in." Declan called pressing his earpiece as he spoke.

"This is Dixin, go ahead Harper." he says.

"Listen, has anyone come in or out of the building in the last hour?"

"Duh, agents come in and out all the time."

"Anyone other than agents?" Declan said slightly annoyed. Now he understood why Liliana was always annoyed by him. There was a moment of silence that lasted way too long for Declan's liking.

"just a janitor." Dixin says, "One, Jorge Mendez." Declan searched the corpse for a wallet and pulled out the id.

Jorge Mendez, it read.

His eyes widen as he looked at Isaac, his expression mirroring Declan, "calling all teams, we have a intruder disguised as a janitor, we need to be on high alert!"

"What are we going to do with this?" one of the agents called back to Isaac and Declan as they made their way towards the building. However, before the two could even say a word, the arm began to glow a weird orange light until it became blinding.

"Watch out!" Isaac yelled as he stepped in front of Declan as the limb suddenly exploded completely disintegrating the agent that was holding the limb. for a moment Declan was worried about Isaac until he saw his skin, pulled to the brink or tearing itself. Isaac saw the confusion on Declan's face and chuckles, "that's right, you never saw my ability did you?" however, there was another explosion, "we'll talk later!" Declan agreed as he got to his feet and took cover trying to figure out where these explosions where coming from

===============================

The third floor team hid keeping their eyes on the only two entrances to the third floor. The sound of explosions muffled by the thick walls and the sound of the garden team currently engaged with someone but not before informing someone managed to gain entry under a fake name. as they waited there was a clink clink clink that caught everyone's attention before a loud pop could be heard and all of a sudden the floor started to fill up with smoke, "damn it! it's hard to see-Guh!" the sound of a gun shot could be heard as the agent fell slumped, dead with a bullet to his head. Another agent spoke and was almost immediately shot.

"ooooo Juuuudge." a voice said tauntingly, "Time to answer for your mishandling of power! I've come back from the pits of hell to drag you down with me!" all of a sudden there was a sound of rapid fire as bullets wizzed by Liliana's head. As soon as the smoke looked like it was clearing more sounds could be heard before another pop noise and even more smoke followed by even more bullets.

James was worried about what had been happening outside after the explosion had gone off. Shortly after she could hear Declan's voice come over the earpiece Oh thank goodness he's alive... With that thought coming and going, she listened to what was going on and after that hell broke loose. With widened blue eyes, she wondered what in the hell was happening. Wolf wouldn't disguise himself. He has his own outfit for a reason. There's no way he wants to hide as someone else. Something wasn't matching up and she could feel it. Wolf would sneak in and avoid detection till somehow someone saw him and right then and there she'd be on his tail. This wasn't working out how she initially thought and the sound of some clinking noises put her on guard immediately. Stay silent. He won't know I'm here till he- Then a sound of a pop went off and the whole area began to fill with smoke. A smoke grenade? No this isn't him. This has to be someone else. Thing was, should she treat it as any normal threat compared to Wolf? Her hands clenched into fists and a gunshot filled her ears. A gun on top of that!? With surprise, she moved to the judges door and tapped on it in a specific pattern in hopes that the agent inside can get her out through the safe route from that room. Once a knock was returned, her body turned back towards the only way to the Judges' place.

Bullets whizzed by her face and she immediately dipped down. While there wasn't cover, it was easier to avoid bullets when lower to the ground than standing right up. James dropped to lay flat on the floor, looking ahead of her to see if she'd see the man's feet coming close as she heard him speaking into the halls. The voice wasn't even masked. It sounded like a raw and clear voice. I've determined that this is not Wolf. He wouldn't work this way in the slightest. But that didn't mean she was going to treat this situation any other differently than an assassination. This person either had to die or be taken into custody. Whatever came first. Slowly and quietly she army crawled towards her target as he taunted and let out a gunshot every now and again. My men are getting killed out there... Pausing her pursuit for a moment, she spoke into her earpiece "James to team, we have a shooter. We're losing men left and right. Sounds like a pistol but it could be a semi auto to auto pistol." She whispered as another gunshot went off in the comm before she released and continued to crawl before hearing the footsteps grow louder. The agent prepared herself because her first priority was disarming the man before he got to shoot her.

Those blue hues caught his boots and immediately she sprung into action and grabbed the gun while slamming her hand into his arm to make him release the gun. It didn't take him long to start fighting back. After moving the air around, the smoke started to clear up and she could see that this man was 100% dressed like Wolf. But out of everyone within the whole agency, she's the only one who had a real encounter with him and lived to tell the tale. In hear earpiece she could hear others claiming that they found wolf and they're engaging him. That alone set off so many bells because if that was the case, there was more than just one person taking this assault out on this judge. This had to end and fast. The man she was fighting was definitely mundane as his strength didn't feel nearly as much as her own. He threw a right hook and she ducked and threw her own hook into his abdomen and sent him a few steps back. "So you think dressing up as Wolf was smart huh? You do realize that you're just an ordinary human who can't stand against me, you know that?" The man simply laughed at her as he pulled out a knife.

"And that's supposed to scare me? I know everything can kill you just as much as us. You're no different. Just a bit more thick headed than everyone else."
He then dashed at her and began his own barrage of stabbing, swinging and more. While skillful with the blade, Lilliana did her best to dodge and disarm him. While she ducked one of his swings she then followed it with a swift kick to his ankles and once he hit the ground she stepped onto his wrist and kicked the knife out of his hand before he grabbed her ankle and yanked on it to knock her down. To which she did collapse and she landed on her behind and glared at the man as his knuckles were decorated with...Were those brass knuckles? "Come here little lady. I've always wanted to see what you'd be like up close."

Hearing his words alone sparked within her as her skin began to heat up like a gas oven and eventually she began to burn his hand. Luckily it was an immediate release and she scrambled backwards to get back up to her feet "Oh? What's this? Did I burn your poor little hands? Come on you sick bastard. Let's see what you got." The man got back up and once again they were back to fighting, hooks being thrown while slamming eachother into the wall. Sure, Lilliana got some hits on her and some bruises and some cuts but that didn't stop her. When the man grabbed her, he pulled her into a choke hold and while his strength was cutting off her air supply, her hands grabbed onto his skin and all that could be heard was the screaming before he released her and was punched right across the face and to the ground. Coughing, the Agent wiped her lips from the blood that was coming from her mouth "You can act all tough against me, but I can assure you that I am better than you. You can't even hold me into choke holds like a normal person." The man seemed to scramble and when she looked, he was going for his gun. Just as she was about to stop him, he managed to grasp onto it and open fire at her and quickly she ran around a corner and ducked to avoid getting hit. Though, a bullet had in fact grazed her arm but she could barely feel the burn because her own temperature was up. Dammit. If he has the gun again, getting close to him is gonna be suicide. She thought to herself as she pulled her heels off her.

If she wanted to go fast dash at him while manuvering as well as she could, then these heels would do her no good. His voice carried down the hall as he slowly made his way toward her. "Come out little piggy." It was almost as if his voice was chilling...Haunting even... Was she the prey this time? Why was she afraid to go full out on him? Shaking her head she hurried down the hall and turned another corner as she pressed her comm "Im fighting an imposter. They're dressed like Wolf but he is nothing like Wolf. He's mundane. I think this is a Ploy." With that said, she remained quiet as the man came closer, trying to follow her as he hummed eerily. It was time to get this show on the road.

____________________________________________________________________________

The culprit that had been causing this to happen was currently finishing his regeneration of his arm. While it was easy to pull off parts of himself to use as explosives, it didnt stop the mess that it created and the time needed to recover said limbs. Once his arm finished, he went for his fingers and basically yeeted them almost like a barrage of explosions in hopes he'd get more of the agents on the field. He himself was also dressed like Wolf, but with more blood on his body. As he was instructed; Blow them to hell. That was his goal and that's what he wanted to go for when using his body as a literal suicide bomber.

He caught Liliana's urgent voice crackling through the earpiece, words jumbled yet clear: a shooter in the building, her team under attack. Every fiber of his being screamed for him to return but instead, he found himself ensnared in the chaos of the garden, limbs torn asunder, explosions rending the air. Amidst the turmoil, another voice pierced through, reporting a sighting of the "wolf," this time from the entrance team. It meant Dixin was now entangled in the conflict, battling against his own imposter. The urge to rush back and aid Liliana gnawed at him relentlessly. He knew his speed could likely carry him to her side, but he hesitated, torn between loyalty to his team and the desperate need to support his partner.

Isaac's urgent call sliced through the cacophony, a stark reminder of the danger surrounding them. Explosions echoed, some claiming lives, others merely adding to the chaos, kicking up clouds of dust and debris. "If we don't locate them soon, we'll be blasted to oblivion!" Isaac's voice rang out. Declan's gaze swept across the garden, focusing at the task at hand despite the frantic attempts of agents to aid the wounded and the relentless onslaught of explosions. "Declan, do you have a visual?" Isaac's voice cut through the din, pleading for any sign of their elusive foes. Declan searched, every sense attuned to the task at hand. Declan managed to pinpointed the bomber's location in a tree not far from where they where currently.

"Isaac! tell your team to focus fire on that tree!" Declan called out. Isaac looked at where Declan was pointing before he nodded.

"Everyone! Fire suppression on that tree!" Isaac yelled. The air crackled with gunfire, a shadowy figure leaped down from the tree, caught in the crosshairs of their assault. Without hesitation, Declan sprinted forward, closing the distance between himself and the elusive perpetrator. Isaac and a handful of agents followed suit, their footsteps echoing amidst the chaos. They manage to encircle the figure, display of coordination as one of the agents swiftly maneuvered into position. One of the agents took initiative and rushed forward and restraining the suspect with a firm half nelson. giving the chance for the rest of the unit to surround the bomber on all sides.

Declan's voice sliced through the silence, demanding answers. "Who sent you?" he demanded, his tone sharp and commanding. But the bomber remained stoic, offering no response, only a smirk. Frustration creased Declan's brow as he pressed on, "I asked you a question," he reiterated, his voice tinged with a sense of urgency. When the bomber remained stubbornly silent for a second time, Declan's frustration boiled over. "I don't have time for this," he muttered before his focus shifted to Isaac. "We need to get back to Liliana." With a pointed glance at the agent holding the suspect, he added, "Keep a close eye on her." But before anyone could react, the situation took a sudden turn. The woman smirked, a glint of defiance in her eyes as she effortlessly tore herself free from the agent's grasp, ripping her own limbs off in a grotesque display of self-mutilation. Shock rippled through the group, frozen in disbelief at the unexpected turn of events. Before anyone could react, the severed limbs began to glow ominously.

"Watch out!" Isaac's warning came too late as the limbs exploded in a blinding flash of light, engulfing the unfortunate agent in a devastating blast. the force of the blast sent Declan and Isaac back a few feet before crash landing against the ground. Both males groaned in pain as they tried to stop the ringing and disorientation. Declan was the first one to get up as he caught a small glimpse of the bomber trying to run away, son of a bitch! Declan says as he gets to his feet and begins his chase.

----------------------------------------------------

The man oinked as he walked slowly and methodically aiming his gun from side to side ready to shot the moment he saw the agent stand up, "Come on out little piggy," he taunts, "you were talking so much but now you are hiding? like a child hahaha!" he laughs. He slowly approached the corner where he saw the agent take cover and he felt giddy as he got closer and closer focusing his gun at where he thought her head was. He slowly approached the hiding spot before he quickly lunged at who he thought was her only to realize he grabbed something else, "What the hell?" he says confused not realizing the agent had left that spot and now was right behind him readying themselves for the perfect moment to ambush him.

MangoGoGo MangoGoGo

James was thinking as quick as she could and grabbed what she could to almost seem like a person...Or anything for that matter before she quickly moved down the hall and began to go in a circle. Lucky for her, some of these halls were connected to allow looping. I talk a lot because people like you always bait into it. On top of that I am better than you. Since her shoes had been removed, her footsteps were quiet as the loop took her to right where she needed to be as a smirk pulled her lips. I believe you're the piggy now. Kicking her foot right into the back of his leg she then spun and sent her other leg right into his head and sent him into the nearby wall. While the gun remained in his hand, her main objective was to get that away first before he was able to get a shot in. Despite the man being on the ground, he had still attempted to point the gun toward her as she charged. The gun fired off multiple times and she ducked and charged straight for him before finally managing to pin him. One hand holding his wrist away while the other was holding his other wrist "Let the weapon go!" He was strong, don't get her wrong. If anything he was pushing her limit and this alone told her she needed to lift more.

He was beginning to win as the gun was coming closer and closer as another shot went off and immediately her ear felt like it had exploded as it was severely muffled and sent ringing through it. This fucker. Kicking her knee up, she slammed it right into his gonads and had him leaning forward before she slammed her knee into his gut, followed by one into his face and threw him across the ground "This isn't a game! Who the fuck are you!? You're not Wolf! You never will be! He'd never resort to such simple methods!" Picking him up by the collar she slammed him into the wall multiple times, trying to get the man to talk "Say something dammit!" The only thing that came from his mouth was a laugh as she ripped the mask from his face, exposing a man with pitch black hair and red eyes. He doesn't have eyes like these. I saw them. I would remember. Lifting him up higher, she slammed him up against the wall and threw him into the ground with such force as he coughed up blood. No doubt she was causing damage to his insides with the force she had been using to attack him. A hand was clutching his gut as he slowly lifted himself to lean on his arm.

"Wouldn't you...Like to know..." He spat out the blood in his mouth to the side as his laugh became more apparent and more maniac-sounding. Lilliana ran up to him again only for a gunshot to ring out in the hall and she paused for a moment as she could feel the stinging in her leg. Looking down, she noticed a wound on her right thigh and this had pulled the trigger (no pun intended) to ignite her flame as her blood boiled and her hands caught fire with ease. The woman dived at him, grabbing his wrist forcefully and ripping the gun from his grasp while her flames licked his flesh "Let's see you turn into bacon!" Her eyes shot daggers into him while her fists went to pound town on his face. Flames lighting the hall and and brushing the man's skin with every punch she sent at him until he no longer moved. Once his body had stopped moving, she slowed herself down before everything came to a stop A human. A mundane human got a bullet into me... Coward. Her breath was ragged while she got off the passed out man and glanced down at him He's definitely not dead. But he will feel all that when he wakes up. Leaning against a nearby wall, the woman inspected her bleeding leg, feeling both the front and the back of her thigh. "Good, it went through. Wont have to get that pulled out later." A loud sigh escaped her lips as both her flaming hands placed over the wounds.

Just because she had control over fire didn't mean it didn't hurt to cauterize her own wounds. Hissing came from her lips and her jaw had been tight, trying not to scream in pain. A patch job would have to do at this point. There's still more that needs to be dealt with. More explosions from the outside caught her attention and she had hoped her people were okay. Putting her finger up to her earpiece, she did hear broken comms but she decided to try her own anyways "I've been shot. Target is down near judges office." That said, she limped towards the gun and inspected it to see how many bullets were left. Enough for her to take a guy down if she couldn't get close enough "This'll have to do. I guess I'll be resorting to simple methods too. Which shouldn't be too bad." Pushing the clip back in, she cocked the gun and began to move in a direction in hopes she'd find one of her teammates...Or someone in particular. Why was she hoping for something like that? I don't know why I'm thinking like this. I've been worried about others before but not to this extent. The agent shook her head as she continued.

The bomber kept running in attempt to get away despite the blood trail coming from their missing limbs. Slowly but surely their limbs were coming back and that smirk remained plastered on the face of the bomber. Glancing over their shoulder, they tried to see if anyone had been managing to trail them, if they had, well surely they would be met with more limbs that were ready to detonate. The bomber wasn't ready to be caught just yet. After all, being the trump card was the most important role. The bomber ran inside, jumping over some bodies and towards the staircase to go up. Their destination: The roof.

"I've been shot. Target is down near judges office."

Her voice was staticky but the message was still clear enough to be understood and he never went from panicked to relieved so fast. He saw two of Isaac's team members get blown to bits the last thing he wanted was to add Liliana to that list of KIA list. His mind was brought back to what was going in front of him as he heard Isaac call out, "Declan! watch your step here!" Declan nodded and kept his eyes on the ground seeing a arm just sitting on the ground. He hopped over it and took maybe five or sis steps before he heard the explosion behind him. It didn't take long for them to figure out how the explosion works, when the limb starts to glow it's going to explode, if they are within range or step on the limb it will explode like a land mine or C4, and it takes about a minute for this bomber to regrow their limbs. Knowing all this, Declan had decided it was best to have Isaac to take the lead since his hardening ability will prevent him from getting turned into red dust if he accidentally steps on a limb or gets too close he could also give Declan a call out if he sees a limb so he could go around it. Declan's speed ability would be really useful in this situation but with the danger of accidently stepping on a limb it would be more of a hindrance to him, fuck, so much for being useful Declan thought to himself watching Isaac's back as they made their way out of the garden and towards the building.

As Declan stepped inside the building, the crackle of the earpiece brought another voice, this time Dixin's, "First floor's all clear. Damn it, fucker ruined my suit!" Typical Dixin, more worried about his outfit than the chaos outside—gunshots, explosions, and all. However, instead of voicing his annoyances he had other things to worry about. Like finding out where the bomber went! Isaac and Declan found themselves in the back lobby trying to catch their breaths as they looked around to see if there was any sign of the bomber. Lucky for them the bomber still bled when they pulled off their limbs and they left a blood trail towards the stairwell. Once again, Isaac took the lead and Declan followed a few steps behind.

"All units!" Declan called out from his earpiece, "we got a wolf wannabe heading up the stairwell! possible heading to the judge, use caution, they can tear off their own limbs and use it as explosives! Isaac and I are behind them." He released the button as he heard Isaac call down to Declan to watch out for another Limb. Declan would call out each floor they past just giving everyone an update. They reached the third floor and Declan nearly pushed through the doors to check on Liliana but Isaac kept climbing. He wasn't as close to Isaac as he was to Liliana and hearing she got shot did worry him. She's a tough girl, probably the second toughest women he has ever met but the urge to check on her was overwhelming. He heard Isaac call him again and he shook his head, he will check on her later, right now he has to chase this bomber down and stop them from what ever it was they were planning on doing, and possible find out who they are working for, "we're on the rooftop access!"

Isaac and Declan made it to the roof and saw the bomber standing with their arms up, "I surrender!" the two males where immediately suspicious. Even when the bomber was captured the first time they still slipped out and blew one of the agents to bits, "seriously, I'm done." Isaac and Declan slowly approached. Declan noticed the bomber still had all their limbs attacked and kept a close eye on their fingers but everything looked fine. It was hard to read the bombers expression with them wearing a cheap copy of his own mask. The two male agents where a couple feet from the bomber when suddenly he lowers his arms, reaches behind him and tosses a limb into the air, "Thank fast!" Isaac immediately looked up and used his ability on his arms to shield himself but Declan noticed the bomber had reached behind his back again and pulled out another limb tossing it at their feet.

"Isaac!" Declan yelled before rushing forward and kicking it away back towards the bomber. The speed and the unexpected action of Declan caught the bomber by surprise as the limb flew back in his direction and explode sending the bomber back and off the edge of the building and landing on the spiked fence below, seconds later the first limb blew up sending Declan in the same direction and almost the same fate if it wasn't for his quick thinking and grabbing the edge of the roof just before he completely fell. Declan managed to climb back up and looked towards Isaac who was laying on the ground. He quickly ran over to Isaac and checked his body for a pulse. He was still intact and he could feel a pulse. with a sigh he pressed his earpiece, "This...this is harper, Isaac is unconscious but still alive, the target is down." he released his earpiece and sat down beside him before adding, "medical attention is needed...and maybe a beer or two. over."

Lilliana walked down the hall, the bottoms of her feet coming in contact with the cold tile of the building. At least cleanup would be somewhat easy when they came through. However they would need fresh paint to get it off the walls. For just a moment the agent stopped and leaned against the wall as the sounds of explosions were still going off. It sounds like a warzone out there... I really don't want to know how many casualties we have with tonight. It was the last thing she wanted to hear at this point. Looking down at her own wound, she noticed it was definitely hardened now and would prevent her from bleeding out. "What wonderful bodies we have as agents huh?" With that question left to the wind, she heard whistling and the sound of something rolling across the floor. With eyebrows close to eachother, she knew she was no longer alone and had no more time to rest for even a moment. Purple smoke began to fill the hallway and she wondered if this was just colored smoke to make it harder to see compared to white smoke. Moving along the hall, she found a door and her hands fiddled with the knob before pushing herself in and closing the door behind her. Someone else is coming and I can't risk being seen. Why would they throw out a purple smoke if they didn't know I was there? Did they perhaps hear me? There was no way! It wasn't like she was that loud.

Moving past some desks, she moved to the furthest one and hid behind it. I have a gun but yet I'm hiding? What the hell am I doing? She asked as she looked down at her hands as they trembled and this alone made her wonder what her body was reacting to. Am I...Am I scared? There was no way, she was fearless! Did anything she put her mind to! Maybe the trauma was beginning to settle but even then, she went against Wolf with ease and no fear of him. The door had busted open and she jumped slightly as the whistling came to a stop and she could feel her heart thumping within her ears. Hands covering her mouth as she tried to keep herself quiet What am I doing? I need to move. Stick the gun over the desk and shoot the damn guy! But something was stopping her and she couldn't do it. While she remained silent, all she could hear was the sound of his voice "I know you're in here. I saw what you did to my buddy out there. Did a good number on him. I didn't think you'd do that to a human." He said, kicking one desk out of the way and sending it flying into a wall. "Maybe Lilliana James is really a criminal hiding as an Agent? Killing humans when it's most convinient?" Another desk went crashing into the wall and it was clear that he was trying to trigger her. "But she also seems to be hiding from another human like me? Is she scared? Has she come to her senses?" The crashing got louder.

James' heart was racing at a million miles an hour at this point and by the time she got her courage built back up, just as she was about to shoot the man, he grabbed her wrist and picked her up. his face in a mask similar to Wolfs but definitely a knockoff as it was painted on in patterns that did not match the original. The eyes on it were glowing red and his voice was far deeper as the smirk exposed itself "Well Lilliana looks hotter in person." As the gun was yanked out of her hand, he then slammed her into the desk and it crumbled underneath the force. A gasp escaped her lips as she felt the air leave her lungs and before she could move, she was immediately picked back up and thrown across the room sending her tumbling almost like a ragdoll. Coughing, those blue eyes lifted as the purple smoke started to fill the room and her new target simply laughed "I'll take you down, you fucker." The agent said as she forced herself up to her feet and could feel her skin heating up. It was time to rely on her powers all the way as it was clear that the guy did not have a gun but his bare fists. This was a fight she could get behind, no knives, no guns, just pure and brute force. "I'm not going to let someone like you take me down. I'm not the top for no reason. Even when Injured I'll keep going." The man simply gestured for her to come at him and she wasted no time in charging him.

Between the pair there was fists colliding, guts being punched and even tossing eachother back and forth or even flipping one another into the ground. The room at this point was becoming debris as Lilliana finally threw the guy with such force she sent him into the next room. "You think you can get away with this?! No you can't!" Once again the agent began to cough and once she had checked to see, she was definitely internally bleeding somewhere. She could hear Declan over the comms and knew that it was possible he or others were hurt. Hurt was better than dead. Lifting her hand to her comm, she spoke "I'm engaging another tang-" again she had coughed and tried to continue "Tango. He's big." Taking her finger off, she went back at it again, releasing a battle cry from her mouth while her fists ignited brightly and would burn the man with every punch. Soon after her feet began to ignite and started to use them to attack to inflict more damage. "You! Will! Not! Take! ME! DOWN!" The combos got increasingly worse and the man was basically spitting blood at this point before he finally hit the ground with a loud thud. James' chest heaved and her eyes watched as her opponent no longer was moving which gave her a moment to back up and turn her back to get the hell out of there. "James...To...To team..." She said breathlessly while she limped towards the exit "Tango down..." A small smile pulled at her lips as she found victory in this fight "I'm going to need...At least 5 bottles...Of wine...Tonight..."

"Hey, Declan, you can come jo-"
Her voice was cut off as she felt a sharp pain in her back and slowly she looked down as she saw a blade right through her abdomen. Blue hues widened as her hands shakily and slowly reached for the blade pretruding from her body. "You really thought you could kill me with some flame combos? Give me a break." The guy twisted the blade and she could only gasp and let out her cries of pain. "Oh she can cry?" The smirk remained on his face "Why dont you turn on your comms huh? Let your whole team hear you dying to my hands." A laugh erupted from his chest as he pushed the blade even further and his other hand had pressed on her earpiece "C'mon. Scream for help, Lilliana." He then jerked the blade that caused her to scream from the pain and simply wanted it to stop. Make it stop...Please..Make it stop... It hurts... It hurts! From the other side she could hear Declan's voice overpowering everyone else over the comms. "D-Dec...Lan..." Was all she could muster. "What? That's it? Just a name? C'mon, you can do more than that! Ah, I see, let me try something." He yanked the blade from her body and jabbed it right back into her, bringing a fresh wound to her body as she screamed even louder "That's it. Hear that V.A.G.E? Your precious agent is getting the treatment she deserves. Getting in the way of our precious Wolf and his goals. It's time we get rid of the wall blocking his way." Taking his finger off the comm, he kicked her and watched as her body slid off and onto the ground while a pool of blood began to expose itself from underneath her.

Tears fell down her face as she could feel her life force just slipping away before her very eyes. "I...I...I'm...So...Sorry..." She failed. This was the end of her and she knew it. There wouldn't be another day where she'd see Tiff, Jeannie, pain in the ass Dix, Carter, Isaac and...And even Declan... The one person who she genuinely enjoyed being around. Watching his faces while drinking Edison's house special, talking about all kinds of things, playing silly games. Never have I ever had a crush on a coworker... That statement echoed within her mind as her hand slowly reached out and her vision had finally gone black and her hand went limp as it collided with the ground.

__________________________________________________________________________________

Tears fell down the agent's face as she stared at the door before her that she had just entered. Looking around frantically, she noticed the room was still in tact and that she was also still in tact. Hands felt her body and there was no wounds, no blood, no nothing aside from the wound in her leg. Holy shit she was still thriving. Wha- What was that.... Quickly she put her hand to her comm "Tango in building with hallucinagetic smoke. Take heavy precautions." Now that she knew what she was up against, the grip on the pistol had tightened before kicking down the door and storming out towards the whistling. On top of it all, her body was ignited as all her emotions came to flare up and she was practically burning the hallucinating effects out of her body before they could catch her once again. The sounds of gunfire going off as she pulled the trigger and shot into the smoke before hearing a thud against the floor. The pace had quickened as she went to examine the body while the fire alarms went off and sprinklers began to spray down on her and putting out the fire that was blazing from her very skin. Her hands felt around and she found the exact blade that killed her and put two and two together. "He has powers that he can control what people see." This was someone she wanted to get dragged back. Despite filling him with bullets, if the team got to him in time then it'd work out and they can take him into the special cells.

Grabbing his feet, she began to pull him towards the exit while limping along. There was so much going on inside her ear and she wished she could turn it down but it was information in case she needed it. The fire alarm didn't help either. I will never cower away. That was nothing like me. I would never let myself get destroyed like that. I'm not an amature. The Agent thought, still dragging the larger man behind her "I'm taking a few days off after this. I'm going to drink five bottles of wine and pass out on my couch." At this point the woman had been talking to herself but who the hell else was she going to talk to? Along her journey back, she passed by agents who had been shot dead and a sigh can be heard coming from her lips I'm sorry guys. But this time we did not fail you. I did not fail you. Bowing her head for a moment, her journey continued along the way while her mind replayed the moments during her hallucination. Nothing could give her as much as a drive as that at this point.

As soon as Lily made it to the first floor she noticed it was buzzing with activity. Both city police, V.A.G.E agents, and medical personal where running to and fro. Some checking on wounded agents and taking the more severe injuries in an ambulance and to the hospital. She could see some of these medical personal standing around Dixin as they treated some of his wounds, biting his lip as they cleaned up some of his injuries and even yelling at them when he felt they were hurting him on purpose. For a moment no one saw Liliana or the villain she was dragging behind her as they ran around like chickens with their heads cut off treating the wounded. Jeannie, the ever fun loving, teasing, and sometimes air headed friend, could be seen as one of those chickens. unlike before when it was only the real wolf hurting the agents this time it was three fake ones and the damage was almost as equal. Being head of the medical division it was up to Jeannie to decide who got treated, who was sent to the hospital, and who was too far gone to even bother, however, Liliana knew Jeannie would never allow that last option. Jeannie stood from her position and looked at another agent from her unit, "We did what we could here, we need him to and get him to a hospital." Jeannie rubbed her temples, a sign that Liliana knew Jeannie was starting to reach her limit. Her eyes widen when she saw Liliana, "Lil!" he shouted before she ran towards her friend. He examined her, "are you ok! go grab a seat and let me check on you." she blinked when she finally noticed the man she was dragging behind her, "is that?" she shook her head. She never got as close to Wolf as Liliana has but even she could tell this was just another wanna be, "Go have a seat, Lil, I'll call someone to take this guy into custody." it may have took a little convincing but Liliana decided to take a seat and allow Jeannie to do her job after she saw the man was put in cuffs and hauled out of the building.

During Jeannie's check up Liliana saw Carter joining the rest of them on the first floor, the judge standing by his side. Even though Liliana couldn't hear him when he was talking to Dixin she knew he was checking up on him. Dixin was annoying but he was still Carter's subordinate and therefore still cared for him like a good boss would. Once he was finished with Dixin he made his way to Liliana and Jeannie. Jeannie, ever so observant of her surroundings, spoke, "She's fine, few bruises here and there." he pressed firmly on Liliana's ribs, "No rays needed this time," She noticed the cauterize wound, "Might have to clean that up a little but she's fine." she said all this without taking a single glance at Carter.

Carter just nodded and looked at Liliana, "How are you feeling, Liliana" he asked, using her real name she got the sense he got worried about her when he heard she got shot. He nodded when she told him she was fine before looking around, "we're missing two agents...have you seen Harper and Isaac?" he asked looking at both Liliana and then at Jeannie. Jeannie shook her head as she steps back from Liliana after finishing her examination on her.

"Heard they went to the roof, but..." She trialed off not wanting to put that energy out there right now, not when there was so much injury around them. Suddenly there was a ruckus catching all their attentions. The man Liliana fought was thrashing about trying to get himself free screaming towards the judge.

"Let me go! I'll kill you! you stupid bitch! stupid, abusing your power I'm uncultured!" He screamed his eyes red shot and spitting with every word he shout. Carter had his hand out in a protective manner while they pulled him away and towards a jail cell. Once he was gone, Carter lowered his arm and looked at the judge.

"Do you recognize that man?" Carter asked and the judge sighed and nodded.

"Eric Lamb," she says shaking her head side to side, "My sister's ex husband, they had a custody battle not too long ago. I tried to distance myself from the case to avoid any claims of favoritism but I was the only one available and then the day of court he was arrested for breaking his retraining order and beating up my sister's new husband." she sighs remembering the headache like it was just yesterday, "he lost the custody hearing but I did try to make it so he had visitation every other weekend...just to be fair." she sighs, "I guess it wasn't enough..."

Lilliana's blue hues looked around at everyone hustling and bustling around, taking care of injured and transporting them out. It didn't matter to her if she was ignored, the only thing that mattered to her was that she got this man into custody as soon as possible and get some restraints to dampen his powers out to avoid his Hallucinating smoke. All this chaos, all of these injuries... Three men who decided to dress like Wolf... I wish It was him. At least I can walk out of it either with him or some semi-victories. Closing her eyes for a moment, she drew a breath and hurt someone call out her name. Opening her eyes once again, she noticed Jeannie coming up to her "I'm fine," When she even looked behind her to look at the man she was dragging, James decided to tell her about him "This is one of them, yes. He has hallucinating properties he can expel from his body. I won't be moving till he gets taken." After pushing from Jeannie, the agent finally allowed her to get the man hoisted away and she leaned on one of the cots, knowing very well that her best friend was going to have to look at both sides of her leg to assess the damage.

While that was going on, the agent looked around and caught her mentor checking up on everyone with the judge right by his side completely unharmed. Good, the agent got her out. That's what matters. What more could she ask for at this point? Jeannie was examining her while pressing on her ribs and Carter checked up on the two. Before Lilliana could speak, her friend beat her to the punch "That's okay, Jeannie. Do what you gotta do to get the wound taken care of and patched. My body will do the rest." Her attention then turned back to Carter "I'm okay. The gunshot hurt like hell though. Lucky for me it passed right through instead of sticking inside my body." It was clear that the man was relieved as he seemed to loosen up some before he mentioned both Isaac and Declan. A pit of emptiness made itself known within her core and her eyes slightly widened Wait they're both not back yet? What happened? Were they hurt? Were they taken? Of course the worry was starting to grow and make her feel uneasy with the situation. Looking down at her now-patched leg, her mind couldn't stop thinking about what could've happened.

She simply listened, catching information that they went to the roof but that was it. Did they fall off? Were they pushed off? Are they still up there? Her hands gripped the side of the cot she had been leaning on, fingers digging into the thick fabric. There was yelling going on in the area and immediately her eyes darted over to see the culprit. Son of a bitch didn't even die from the fists she pounded into his dumb face. Not long after that, Carter and the judge exchanged information on who that person is. That doesn't explain why he was dressed as Wolf along with the rest of them. Was that just a ploy? To make it seem like it was wolf but wasn't? Her jaw tightened and shortly thereafter she pushed herself off the cot and ran out the area and right up to the stairs, ignoring the wound on her leg. There was nothing more she wanted to listen to and just wanted to spring into action. Jogging up the stairs only turned into her skipping steps to get up faster. No matter how much her thigh screamed at her to not do something like that. If I lost even more people... With a shake of her head she continued to ascend up towards the roof.

Barging through the door to the top, her head whipped around and eventually found both men lying on the ground. With widened eyes, she called out to them "Declan! Isaac!" Lilliana ran towards them with her heart ready to explode out of her chest. "Please be alive you two, I'm not losing you guys on the field today!" Pressing her fingers to Isaac's neck, she could feel a pulse and immediately she had turned her attention to Declan. His chest was rising and falling which told her he was alive and that alone had given her relief. Gently, her hands cupped his face "Declan? Declan can you hear me?" She asked, one hand gently tapping his cheek to try to wake him up. "Declan if you're in a coma I swear I will bring you out of it myself." His skin was so soft underneath her fingertips and never did she think that she'd find herself in a situation like this. Those eyes of hers had softened as she noticed him starting to stirr and what had came from his mouth simply made her laugh, the smile on her lips finally full bloom. "Declan what would we do without you?"

Declan was going to bring Isaac down from the roof to get some medical attention. After all, he just tanked a explosive limb to his face even with his hardening ability that was going to do some damage and he was right considering Isaac was currently laying on the ground unconscious, "I got you buddy," he say to no one in particular grabbing one arm and wrapping it around his shoulders and lifts his up. Normally, this was a lot easier to do when the person was conscious but seeing as Declan was carrying all of Isaac's body weight alone the start of his trek towards the first floor was going to be a tough one, "would of really liked if you were awake for this one." Declan says as the days battles started to catch up with him with the adrenaline slowly leaving his body. He managed to carry Isaac half way through the roof when he suddenly felt his foot unexpecting get caught on something causing his body weight to lean too far forward and falling back down. Declan groaned as he felt pain run through his body, "Just give me five minutes, Isaac." Declan says as he lays on the ground, "I'll...get you down...in five...Lily" he closed his eyes for a second or at least he swore it was a second before he felt his consciousness fade.

He heard someone yell his name but they sounded so far away he wasn't sure if he actually heard it or not. Next thing he heard were...footsteps? what followed was silence before he heard his name, this time much closer, and felt two soft hands on his cheeks. This time he heard the voice clearly and knew almost right away who it was. He let out a low groan of pain before he opened his eyes. His sight slowly coming into focus as he saw the blue hues of an angel looking down at him with concern. He slowly raised one hand to meet hers sitting on his cheek as if to prove what he was feeling wasn't fake, "Never have I ever..." he started with a smirk, "felt like I deserved a vacation after dealing with this nonsense." he says with a chuckle. Her laugh rang in his ears like a lovely symphony and her smile, her real smile, although not meant to be nothing more than someone who was relieved to see a friend was ok was still a sight to behold. what the hell are these thoughts? He slowly sat up, with Liliana's help as he says, "let's hope we never have to find out, yeah?" he looks back at her with a smile not realizing he was still gripping her hand in his once he sat up.

The only reason Declan let go was when he heard groaning beside him and when he looked he saw Isaac was starting to sit up. Both Liliana and Declan went to his side supporting him, "I have a massive headache." Isaac complained as Declan helped him to his feet.

"Well, you did take a explosive to your face," Declan says helping him, this time it was much easier since Isaac was awake, "should count your blessings all you have is a headache." Declan joked. Declan planned on taking Isaac to the first floor alone but Liliana grabbed his other arm to help, "Lily you don't..." he stopped when she gave him a look and he just smiles, "alright, thanks." he says. The two agents helped Isaac down the stairs being careful not to fall or hurt Isaac any further. They only made it to the second floor when they noticed more agents treating people. It seemed areas of the buildings were being cleared before any medical stuff were being allowed up. Declan and Liliana saw Jeannie working on some injured agents and again was rubbing her temples, a sign that Liliana knew as her using her healing ability too much. Declan called to her and she looked over at their direction. She nodded and pointed at one of the side offices telling them to put him down over there and she'll get to him.

Declan and Liliana walked over to the office she pointed at and opened the door, "Ocupado." A suddenly and annoyed voice says. Sitting on the desk was Dixin, staring daggers at Declan. Declan shook his head as he was not in the mood for this.

"Jeannie told us to put Isaac here and..."

"I could give two shits what she said," Dixin spoke crossing his arms across his chest, "go wait somewhere else, I heard the janitor's closet isn't busy." he says with a smirk before looking at Liliana, "but if James wants to stay, I'm sure I have room." he says patting his lap.

"Shut up, Dix." Jeannie suddenly says as she walks in behind the trio, "sit Isaac right here," They sat Isaac on one of the chairs before Declan sucked in some air feeling some pain run through his body, "you alright?" Jeannie asked.

"I'm fine, alot better than Isaac." Declan says trying to brush off any attention he would need. Jeannie pursed her lips.

"well, I'm almost done with Dip shit over here," Jeannie says receiving a 'Hey' from Dixin but she ignored him and continues, "seeing as we have too many bodies in here, would you mind helping me Lil? check on Declan real quick while I finish up here and check on Isaac."

"No, seriously, I'm good, I..."

"Shush, sit down, shirt off." Jeannie said more sternly. Declan sighed and sat down on the edge of the desk. Liliana stood in front of Declan waiting for him to remove his shirt.

"Jeannie is a real hard ass when it comes to her work huh," Declan joked as he grabs the bottom of his shirt with both his hands and pulls it over head, flinching slightly as pain ran though his body. he tossed it to the side and sat waiting for Liliana to do, what ever it was she was going to do. It was hard to tell just how in shape Declan was because he always wore his clothes one size bigger. He wasn't one to show off his body, However, his physique wasn't bulky but visibly toned with a flat chest that led into a six pack. He didn't have to flex his arms for Liliana to see his muscles. Declan blinked when he noticed Liliana hasn't moved for almost a minute, "um...you ok, Lily?"

His hand is so warm... The Agent thought while she assisted Declan with sitting up. It felt like the moment was short lived as his hand finally released her own when they both heard Isaac groaning and getting up. Back to work. Turning herself over towards Isaac, she began to hoist him up with her partner. Of course he began to protest but all she had to do was glare at him for a moment and immediately he understood the assignment. "You're welcome. I'll always be here for you guys." With that said, they began to help Isaac down the stairs "I knew I heard explosions, I was hoping you guys were okay out there because it sounded more than just one." Lilliana explained as they landed on the second floor and exposed more people within the building and clearing out spots to make even more room for the injured and medical supplies. I wasn't up there that long, was I? She wondered as Jeannie was also working around looking far more focused but also overworking herself. Just by the rubbing of the temples was enough to tell her that Jeannie would slap a bitch if they pushed her over the limit.

When they moved to the directed room, there was Dixin and the moment he spoke was the moment she wanted to smack him across the face. Should she? Thinking for a little bit longer, she had allowed Isaac to lean on Declan - Even though she probably shouldn't but they were at their destination already - and walked up to Dixin as she glared at him with daggers that could pierce the soul before a loud smack was heard within the room. The back of her hand connected with his face and she could see his skin reddening from the hit "If I ever, ever, see you say shit like that, especially to our team who's clearly injured, I will personally put you in the grave myself without hesitation." He was a selfish man. Yeah, sure, he had a good ability, sure Carter still cared for him, but in the end he still needed to stop being so selfish or else he'd kill someone one day. "If that was me, you'd immediately jump on the opportunity to help. So treat your teammates how you will treat me." Jeannie walked in and also had told him to shut up on top of it all.

At least Jeannie was also another who was sick of his shit. Her ears had picked up the sound of Declan inhaling and she had glanced over, knowing very well he had some injuries to him. Why did he continuously lie like that? Everyone had to have suffered something...Especially if Isaac managed to get hurt as well. "I wouldn't mind helping out, Jeannie." James replied as Jeannie told Declan what to do and thus he did it without hesitating any longer. It seemed he was getting the hang of an angry Jeannie on the field. He'll learn why we listen to the medic one day if he did happen to push her. Moving to stand in front of him, she had given him space to remove his shirt and when he did, not only did she see the wounds that was in his skin but she had also seen those toned muscles that decorated his body. Now this woman has seen plenty of muscles between Carter, Isaac, Dix, and even a few agents. Muscles were cool and she did have her own but they were nothing like this.

Those ocean-like eyes followed every line, every dip and her mind couldn't help but wonder how they'd feel underneath her fingertips. Was he even flexing? No...He was just sitting there in a way that just tickled her mind. Why do I feel the need to touch him... While he's toned and chiseled to my perfection... It's almost like he was crafted by God himself before he came here. Those arms too, what would it be like to be embraced in them? Would they give her the warmth that she thought about from time to time? It was clear that there was nothing stopping her from looking aside from Declan himself as his voice cut through her mind with ease. Lifting her gaze back up, she nodded firmly "Yeah, I'm fine." That voice of hers seemed to be caught off guard as her tone was not the same as it was before. Stepping closer to examine the wounds, her hands hesitated to touch him. Almost as if he was too pure for her hands to touch. I help Jeannie all the time when I'm not messed up myself. This is nothing. This is just like taking care of the others. The beating in her chest was picking up in pace, but she tried to remain calm "I'm going to check your wounds." Of course you're going to check his wounds. That's the whole purpose you moron. Clearing her throat for a moment, she tried to fix what she said.

"I meant I'm going to be touching you here so, don't be startled." Another moment of hesitation before her fingers brushed his skin and examined the shrapnel that went into his skin. While it didn't look like metal, she couldn't tell what would be white and be jabbed into his skin. Calling out for an agent to bring her a thin pair of long tweezers, she was soon brought a kit of different tools and she pulled out the tweezers and carefully started to pull out the shrapnel. Every breath he took, she heard. Every breath he let out, she felt. He was almost intoxicating being this close to him. There had to be something to distract her and prevent her from getting even more lost in this situation. Carefully she pulled out another piece of Shrapnel, she noticed that it was seemingly almost like a different texture "Declan," Said the agent "What were the explosions made out of? I've never seen this type of texture being part of shrapnel for explosives..."

Declan blinked when he heard Lily speak, for being the best agent and a no nonsense agent of V.A.G.E she almost sounded...surprised? Not only that but the way she was looking at him. it had to be his imagination right? Declan had snuck looks at her from time to time, admiring her beauty, her company and her....assets....as a single male would. However, she seemed to be looking at him the same way. it had to be his imagination right? a lot has happened today and emotions where probably running high. He raised an eyebrow when she told him she was going to check his wounds and he chuckled, "I am in your care, nurse Lily." he said playfully. He wasn't sure if he was able to hide it well, but the moment he felt her finger tips touch his bare skin he felt a shiver run down to his very core, "chilly out tonight." he said using the open window and slight breeze as a excuse just in case she did notice him shivering. He silently cursed at himself, why was he being so secretive? being shirtless while a agent helped pull shrapnel out of your body wasn't anything new to him, it happened a lot in Atlas with female agents just as pretty as Liliana...well...maybe not as pretty as her. Just as that thought popped in his mind the memory of their holding the cup to her lips after asking his questioned replaced it. was that when all this started? was that when...

He let out a hiss as he felt her pull out a piece of shrapnel, the feeling of something pulling his skin to the limit before letting go was the most uncomfortable feeling he could have and it didn't help that the pain lingered as she continued to pull more and more stuff off his back. He heard her has what the bombs where made of and he casually says, "Body parts." He could sense the surprise at his words even with his eyes closed readying himself for another piece to be pulled out but stubbornly hanging onto his skin. Isaac suddenly spoke up as Declan let out another hiss from the pain.

"It's most likely pieces of bone," Declan knew that was the case but still hearing pieces of someone else's bone fragments was currently stuck in his body was still something he didn't want to think about, "I have never seen such a ability before, she tore off her own limbs and throw them at my team and regenerated them it was...disturbing..."

"If it wasn't for Isaac I'm pretty sure I would be in pieces right now..." Declan spoke since he was getting used to the pain of bones being picked out Isaac made a dismissive groan as if he wasn't worthy of the praise he was getting.

"There, you're done." Jeannie suddenly said as she steps back from Dixin, "go report to Carter."

"Hey, are you sure you even did this right? maybe I should..." before Dixin could get another word out Jeannie pushed Dixin towards the door before spinning him around and booting his ass out, "Out!" She let out a annoyoed sigh and rubbed her temples, "OK, Isaac, come here." Isaac didn't say a word as he stood up, took off his shirt and sat in front of Jeannie.

Once Lily was done pulling bone out from his stomach and looked to be pulling away Declan suddenly grabbed her hands. The two agents looked at their joined hands before looking at each other. Declan had no idea why he suddenly grabbed her like that and her shocked expression mirrored his own, "Um." he started trying to think of anything to make this situation less awkward than it already was heading towards, "Thanks for, you know...um...c-coming to get me...us! I mean us..." smooth...time to bring it home he thought to himself but instead he kept his grip on her hand never breaking eye contact with the blue angel, with Lily.

Lilliana knew that this was a painful process, but it was a process that had to be done or else he was gonna have this shrapnel stuck inside him. However when he had answered her question, she paused and glanced at him for a moment "You're joking right?" No way body parts could do this kind of damage unless- Her attention turned to Isaac as he spoke up and said it was bone. Looking at the white piece in between her tweezers, she suddenly felt mildly sick. That is absolutely morbid... He continued to explain what the person could do, which was basically use their own body as separate bombs while regenerating. I'm very glad I didn't go against that one...Or else things could've gone bad. With fire and explosions happening, no doubt the whole place would've been up in flames. They both continued to talk and Declan basically gave Isaac a compliment to which he replied humbly. Isaac just take it. Without you he could've died. Jeannie finally kicked Dixin out and told him to get in touch with Carter before she assisted Isaac. There was more hissing, though it was coming from him now rather than Declan. Bones as shrapnel... I'm gonna make sure all these pieces are out.

Focusing on the other wounds, she pulled out a few more pieces of bone that she placed on the desk. While the big pieces were the easiest ones, those little pesky ones took a little bit longer so she took her time in inspecting each open wound before finally putting the tool down "There we go. Just need to wipe it clean and you should be okay." The agent then began to pull away as Declan suddenly grabbed her hand, causing her eyes to slightly widen before lifting her gaze to his own. Much like her own, he was also surprised as he tried to speak with her. The silence was very strong, so strong there was no doubt in her mind that she could probably hear a pin drop to the ground. A small smile tugged her lips as he stuttered and struggled to use his words right. Declan you have no idea what happened when I heard that the two of you never returned. She wouldn't admit it to him, nor did she plan to ever admit it. "You're welcome. You're part of my team and a leader will always go down with their team." Her gaze had shifted back down to their hands, feeling the warmth through her own. Usually I'm the warm one. I suppose I'm cold.

Then she noticed her shoes were still missing from her feet. Well...Time to find those later "I'm happy to see you both get to see the light of day again." When James looked back to him, she could feel that hallucination creeping up on her. How she was pierced twice by a blade while she was dying over her comms. She could hear Declan yelling but not exactly what as her body collapsed to the ground. All she could think of was all the people that were in her life, that made some sort of impact and supported her and more...With the newest addition being Declan who would take her on Bike rides, take her to the cafe or even meet up with her there. Those eyes of hers began to fill with tears as she stared at the man before her before they began to fall down her face. "I wouldn't know what to do if I lost you..." Those words almost came out like a whisper as her hand tightened on his "If you couldn't spend another day with us..." Her jaw had trembled as she felt that overwhelming amount of emotion coming for her Why am I weak like this? I can hold it in always... What could she do to keep it in? She was already leaking out of her eyes, nothing can stop it at this point. "I was so worried..."

"When I heard you both didn't return... I couldn't stay away... I had to find you... I ran so fast..."
The tip of her nose turned red along with her cheeks while her arm lifted up to try to wipe her tears. But they only came more as she suddenly threw herself (but carefully of course) at him. While she did break her hand away from his, her arms were around him as she cried into his shoulder but did her best not to be audible. Whether it be the stress of the night, or other alternate means, it finally got to her and she was beginning to realize that these people were more important to her than she had thought. Yes, she cared but nothing like this. Almost as if a new part of her had unlocked. This job was dangerous and she knew that, she knew one day she could die to Wolf or someone else on the field. That didn't scare her. But now? Death was the biggest fear she could have as she would be leaving everyone behind. They'd be sad without her. Much like she would be sad without them.

Declan just looked at her as she spoke, keeping her hands in his keeping with a not so tight grip. Running his thumb across her knuckles as each word she spoke began to break her composure. He only released one of her hands when he saw tears coming from her eyes, placing it on her cheek to wipe away the tears and his forehead against hers. She spoke of how fast ran to find them...to find him before she broke completely and threw herself onto him, wrapping her arms around him as she silently cried in his shoulders trying to make sure Isaac and Jeannie couldn't hear her from the other side of the office. Declan slowly wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly. He didn't have no words for her and sometimes just being there and not saying a word was the best option. He runs his hand up and down her back trying to comfort her as she softly sobs in his bare shoulders, "but we're still here," Declan says as Lily took a single step back and Declan placed both his hands on her cheeks and rests his forehead against hers and his thumbs wiping away the teats from her cheeks, "I'm...still here...and next time I won't leave your side..."

"I swear Isaac you are such a baby sometimes!" Jeannie could be heard from the other side. Her hands were on her hips staring daggers at Isaac, "if you don't let me get just a little rough with you I won't be able to take out those bone pieces that are deep in your skin!"

"M-maybe James could do it instead?" Isaac says lowly, "Y-you get a little rough when you are like this."

"She's busy with someone else, not suck it up!" with that said she continued pulling out small bone pieces and Isaac let out a loud and pain groan, "there! was that so bad?" Declan looked back at Liliana and gave her a smile.

"I guess I got lucky getting you instead of her, huh." he says playfully. Liliana just finished cleaning up Declan's wounds and he was in the process of putting his shirt back on when Carter walked in and studied the scene. Carter was observant so it was obvious he saw tear trails on Liliana's face and judging by the scowl on the usual bubbly medics face, she was at her limit.

"Jeannie...James...report." Carter said keeping it short and sweet like he always did when it came to business.

"Almost done pulling out the small pieces..." Jeannie says. Carter nodded and looked back at Liliana as she gave her report on Declan's condition.

"Good, since you are done here all agents are to go to HQ for a debriefing," Carter says knowing full well these people just wanted to go home after having a night like this, "I'll try to keep it short so you can all go and rest and I'll be sure to add this as extra time." Once he was finished he gave them a nod before heading out. Declan hopped off the desk and stood next to Liliana as they faced Jeannie and offered to help her but she sighs.

"I...I can finish this...you two go to HQ." she says before placing her hand on Isaac's chest and a faint green light began to glow from her palm, "see you guys later." she says. Declan didn't feel right just leaving Jeannie but she insisted and he looked over at Liliana, "wanna go for a ride?" he asks as he pulls out his bike keys from his pocket.

Lilliana felt the warmth wrap around her almost like a blanket as her hands pressed against his back as she had nothing to grasp onto as her face buried deeper into his shoulder. The agent was unsure of how much time had passed and quite frankly there was no care in the world for that. I can put on the facade... I can pretend I'm strong... Hold my head high. All it took was a simple ability to break everything I worked so hard to build. How could that happen? Was her wall built from glass and that's why it broke so easily? Declan's voice echoed within her mind and she had pulled away to look at him as he said they were still there. He was right, they were still here and that's what mattered as his hands moved to her face. A gentle cup of her face is what began to comfort her as he brought her close while resting his forehead on hers and using his thumbs to wipe away the stray tears. While her blue eyes closed, her ears listened to every word he told her and that smile came back to her lips "I'll hold you to that..." She said softly as she heard Jeannie and Isaac talking about pulling out those bone pieces. Of course she couldn't help but look over and watch as the interaction unfolded before them.

"Yeah, she can be quite aggressive when she overuses her power. One time she stabbed a guy in the leg cause he wouldn't stop panicking and he straight up just passed out so she could work. I personally don't mess with her when she's like this." Last thing she needed to do was get stabbed in the leg too. "Let me finish cleaning you up, give me a moment." Lilliana went off and got some more supplies and came back to start cleaning up the wounds. He did flinch but that meant the cleaning up was working. Examining the bruises and the wounds, they weren't as bad as they seemed before as the dried blood made it harder to see. "You'll heal up in no time, Declan. Knowing our healing speed as agents." Probably a full nights rest and he'll be pretty much patched up on his own. Close to the same could be said for her, however her wound literally went through her leg so she'd take a little longer to patch herself up. Hopefully after tonight they had a break before Wolf were to attack.

Her attention had shifted as she heard a large force coming into the room and when she had turned, Carter was standing there with his arms crossed. Jeannie immediately replied and shortly after she spoke as well "Harper is fine, some bruising and shallow wounds. He'll be healed enough for tomorrow. Might take a little more than a few hours of rest but he's good." Seeing his approving nod, he gave them their instructions. This was protocol unless you were basically hospitalized and couldn't attend, so she could push a little bit more to keep the night going. Hell, what even time was it? Was it late? Probably. If anything, her own body was telling her to collapse into a nice warm bed and sleep for as long as she wanted. Once finished, he was gone as quick as he arrived and she turned to Jeannie. "Jeannie we don't want to leave you if you're-"

"I'll be fine. The faster I finish this the better. Go back to HQ. You can tell me about it tomorrow." Jeannie said stern but coldly. As much as she loved her friends, she really didn't have the patience to argue.

A sigh wanted to escape James' lips, but she refrained as her gaze moved to Declan as he offered going for a ride as he pulled out his keys from his pocket. Oh would I ever. "Of course. Faster we get there, the better. Let's go." She then looked to Isaac "You'll be healed up in no time Isaac, we'll see you either later or tomorrow." he waved his hand at her as Jeannie continued to work on him and the pair walked out of the room and eventually down through the lobby as bodies were being wheeled out in black bags. Lowering her eyes a bit, she felt bad that more men had been lost... They knew the risk of this job and yet still came, still kept with the job itself... Was this survivors guilt? Was it unfair? In her mind she could feel that it was unfair. Her hands tried to wipe away any remaining trails of tears so that no questions would be asked and her face would stop feeling so weird. Declan lead the way to the bike and approached it, she allowed him to get on first before she got on as well. Knowing she couldn't keep her arms low, she had to change her positioning in holding onto him to avoid pressing on his wounds. So instead of wrapping her arms around him entirely, she instead placed her palms on his chest. If he had their helmets, those were definitely put on and she had her bluetooth on so she'd be able to talk to him. If he wanted to talk to her that is.

"I would've preferred to fight Wolf tonight. Compared to what we've all faced tonight. Between exploding limbs, Hallucinating smoke, and guns... I've had enough of that and would've enjoyed a more hand-to-hand fight."
Never would she have thought that she wished Wolf was actually here instead of some wannabe criminals. "At least he wouldn't have used a gun..." It was obvious she held a grudge as her thigh suffered the consequence of a bullet. That's how cowards fought...With guns that all you had to do was point and shoot and hope it hit your target. The easiest thing in the world to do. "Are you sure you're okay, Declan?"

The damage to the building was minimal unlike any other fight that involved wolf but it was the casualties that seemed to be where the real damage was. He counted at least eight bodies but saw others still in the lobby waiting to be picked up. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and guided her out, "Come on, Lily." he says rubbing her arm trying to comfort her. These guys fought bravely trying to defend a innocent from "wolf" only to be taken out by crazies who dressed like him. And she may have been trying to put on a brave face but even the bravest agent needed some support and right now that was him, as much as a support as he was. Declan had his arm around Liliana's shoulders perhaps a bit too long, only taking it off her shoulders as they reached the front gate where there most of the agents and police force blocked off the street. The two agents walked past the police barricade and towards the parking garage. He pulled out his helmet from the backpack and put it on before sitting on his bike and prepped the bike as he waited for Liliana to jump on. He wasn't sure if she felt his body jump when she placed her hands on his chest but after a second he reached up and grabbed her hands and put them around his mid section, flinching slightly as he did so, "Don't mind my wounds, Lily," he told her from over the blue tooth, "It's safer this way." He waited until he felt the two taps, normally it would be on his stomach but this time she tapped his leg, signaling him She was ready to go. He revved his bike and took off towards V.A.G.E HQ.

"I'm sure a lot of people were looking forward to fighting Wolf," Declan said from over his blue tooth, "now some wannabe rejects who play dress up." He slowed to a stop as the light turned red. there was a brief silence as he felt his head pounding. He heard her ask if he was ok and he looked over his shoulder at her, "I'm fine, a little sore and a massive headache thanks to all the explosions, but other than that..." he shrugged, "I could really go for a Edison House Special right about now." She couldn't see his face but she could tell just by the tone in his face he was grinning since she knew the history between him and that drink. As soon as the light turned green Declan took off again, the rest of the ride would of taken them through town and even though it was a little late nothing beat the speed of taking the high way. Declan drove over the speed limit a little bit, like five over, but he was sure Liliana wasn't complaining as she enjoyed the speed just as much as he did.

The ride from their location to HQ would of been a fifteen minute drive through town but taking the free way and speeding cut that time in half as they found themselves in VA.A.G.E HQ parking lot. Liliana waited until she felt him tapping her hands to let her know she was safe to get off before she took off her helmet and got off the bike, Declan soon following afterwards. He put his helmet in his back pack and caught himself almost putting his arm around Liliana's shoulder but stopped himself and hoped she didn't notice as they walked side by side towards the office. By the time they reached the office they could see Dixin head down on his desk sleeping and a few other agents talking amongst themselves talking about the days events. Fifteen minutes later Isaac and Jeannie walked in and Jeannie sat beside Liliana and laid her head on Lililana's shoulder.

"I'm exhausted..." Jeannie says in her half cheery half annoyed tone. Isaac took a seat across the three and just nodded in agreement.

"Same...who would of guess there was someone out there that had that kind of ability..." Isaac said as he leaned forward, his elbows resting on his legs and his head in his hands as he rubbed his eyes, "I know wolf's chain ability was dangerous but being able to rip your limbs off and cause them to explode? disturbing..." their conversation was cut short when the tv all of a sudden changed from a random program that some of the agents were watching to a emergency press conference. The women on screen began to explain this press conference was a started because the director of the U.B.V.H has claimed to capture the real wolf and wanted to expose his identity on national television. This peaked Declan's interest as well as half of the conscious agents in the office.

on the screen was a old man Liliana, Isaac, and Jeannie recognized. His old features twisted into a smirk as if he just did something no one else was able to do. Beside the old man known as Morrison, were other agents but sitting front in center on his knee's was Wolf, "Ladies and gentlemen of this fine city!" he started, "you've been plagued for the last couple of months by a assassin known as Wolf. As other companies tried and failed to save mayors, lawyers, and even put a well known and popular judge in danger I am here to announce, the assassin has been caught thanks to the efforts of the agents of the U.B.V.H." there were some claps from those at the press conference and the old man soaked it in for a bit before he continued, "we invited you all here today, not to gloat or brag, but to give you first hand the face and identity of the one known as wolf!" he looked over to his right and nodded at the agent. the agent nodded as well before he walked over to Wolf and took off his mask.

What the camera's caught was a normal looking man who looked confused at his surroundings before he smiled unnaturally wide, "What we have," Morrison started, "is the true face of Wo-."

"Wolf will slaughter you all!" the crazed man suddenly yelled, "you, and you, and you, and you! all of you! the corrupted media shall feel the icy sting of death from Wolf! and we, The Wolf Disciples! shall deliver his vengeance!" Some how the crazed man had untied himself and suddenly lunged at a camera man, a knife in hand, "Corrupted media shall die! because Wolf says so!" what followed next were screams and Morrison being heard shouting order to his agents to capture him. The last thing that was heard before the feed was cut was Morrison telling them to cut the feed.

Lilliana felt a slight frown tug the corners of her lips as he moved her hands back to his midsection, claiming it was far safer that way. "But you're hurt..." Of course he wasn't going to care about that, and it was clear that he didn't. The woman released a sigh and was careful with her grasp as to avoid hurting him any further. After that, she had tapped him twice but instead of on top of his wounds, she opted for his leg which was a far safer bet before putting her arm back in place. Declan took off and she could immediately feel the cool air brushing against her skin as she heard her partner through her headgear "Well, surely Edison is still open if you wanted to stop by." She teased, knowing it would be a tempting offer for him to try that house special again today. Being a responsible adult, he opted out as they took the highway back to HQ. Every chance that he had to get on this road, he always took it. If she was honest, she was unsure of if it was because he loved it, she loved it, or they both did. Her hands lifted a little bit as she leaned her head back slightly and closed her eyes as the wind rushed against her body. Is this what flying felt like? I'll never get tired of this. The agent thought as a small giggle escaped her lips, forgetting even just for a while that she had her bluetooth on.

The pair finally got to HQ and their ride felt short lived as he rolled into the parking lot and once they came to a stop, she felt that hand signal and immediately she pulled herself from behind him and pulled her helmet off, shaking her head a bit to get her hair to fall back into place before she got off the bike and put her helmet on the seat. After sitting even just a little bit, her legs felt the fatigue once they were being stood upon once again. While her back was to Declan, she glanced at her wound and noticed it was already looking a bit better than before Few glasses of wine and some hours will get me almost good as new. Standing straight back up, she began to walk towards the building to meet up for the debriefing. Though she had been unaware of Declan trying to wrap his arm around her. Though she did seem to be completely vulnerable at the moment. Usually when around everyone, her guard was up, there was a specific way she moved and reacted to certain things. But this time, none of that was coming through. Was it because she realized that Declan had her back? Perhaps. Would she try to look into it? Nope.

Once they walked in to the office, they passed by Dixin who was out like a light. Thank God he's out. I really didn't feel like listening to his remarks when we got back. Hopefully that smack rattled some nuts and bolts back in place. While there were other agents hanging around and talking about what happened, she sat upon the corners of one of the desks and soon her shoulder was met with Jeannie's head "I can imagine. You almost stabbed Isaac with those tweezers." Her voice had definitely been jokingly, though her face seemed to slowly revert to how she always was with her group. James took her hand and gently patted Jeannie's lap to give her some sort of comfort "Take a small nap." Eyes shifted to Isaac who couldn't get over the fact that someone had such a morbid ability "I'd rather deal with chains over exploding limbs any day." Agreed Lilliana while continuing "However, as much as I cannot compare...Hallucinogenic smoke is pretty brutal. Wouldn't want that to happen to anyone. Not even Wolf himself no matter how much I despise that man." The tv suddenly changed to a press conference and her eyes had narrowed. Capture the real Wolf? Give me a break. He literally chased the guy away when I almost got him in my own two hands. Grasping the edge of the desk, her ears couldnt believe what she had been hearing.

This old fart thinks that slandering our name is going to help him get points? V.A.G.E works their asses off day and night trying to make sure the damage by Wolf is minimal. The press conference was having a ball with it and this angered her as her grip on the desk has began to split it. Eventually they unmasked him and Lilliana herself knew it wasn't him. That facial structure, the immediate confusion. Does he think this city is completely stupid and dense? I seen through that like a glass window. After that...It went from bad to worse and the only thing that she could feel was a feeling of satisfaction. While there was a new enemy to deal with, she was glad he attacked the camera man and made it fairly clear that this new agency couldn't handle this. The feed was cut off and she was the first to say something "Good for him." Of course eyes turned to her immediately as she gently bumped Jeannie to inform her she was getting up. Once freed, she stood "Do you realise how much of this fuck ruined his reputation? This just dug his grave. If he had really caught Wolf, then why was there rope on him? Why not power dampening cuffs? Why did he not take precautions to prevent him from escaping? If that was really Wolf, he would have wiped the floor with that entire room with ease." The other agents began to look at eachother and murmur because she was right.

"This hot shot thinks he can make us look bad. But you know what, I won't let that happen. None of us will let that happen." James' hands moved to her hips "I know Carter isn't here yet, but this mission tonight was a success despite the casualties. We have two people in custody, one human one non. The judge is alive. The only thing we have to worry about now is the new threat we face: Wolf's Deciples. I have no doubt in my mind that there will start being curfews enforced within the city if we have cult groups worshipping Wolf and wondering around to kill specific people." With a shake of her head, she opened her mouth to continue but someone instead spoke for her.

"You know James, you can at least save some talking for me too." Carter said as he slammed his hand on Dixin's desk to wake him up before approaching the rest of the group "She's right, The mission was a success and we've only suffered 10 casualties for the amount of agents we put out on the field. You all fought well, you all contributed to tonights success and I'm proud of each and every one of you. We will live on for those we've lost, and we'll continue to make this city a better place for us and for the citizens. Now I did say I'll make this short so please, get home safely and return to your families. I'll see you guys tomorrow. As James said, we have a new enemy to add to our list." With that said agents then began to dispurse and start heading home. He also departed to head home, get some rest before the busy day tomorrow.

"Time for us to go home, clean up, and get some sleep."
Jeannie said as she stood up and stretched out her limbs "See you tomorrow guys! You too Lilliannnnaaaa." With a wink, she scurried off to head home.

James could feel the weight of exhaustion hitting her almost like a train. But she had to keep going as she not only needed a bath but she needed to get some food into her stomach "Well, Declan...That's it for tonight it seems." Turning towards him as everyone cleared out of the room, she also decided to add in a little bit of lightheartedness to the night "Heal up, get some food into you, we'll do some light work and reasearch tomorrow. Unless you feel like doing some dangerous bomb diving in dumpsters." A joke referring to earlier that day. Nothing like a fresh bomb in the morning right? "Either way, I'll see you tomorrow Declan." Her hand went out to shake his, but felt as if that was awkward at this point. He's been by her side since day one, would a handshake still be fine here? Pulling her hand back, she closed it and instead stepped closer to him and carefully wrapped her arms around him in a gentle embrace. Now she didn't want her face to be seen by Declan, so she hid it into his shoulder as her cheeks gained a light coat of pink. He was so warm and she absolutely loved that feeling. It was like she was hugging a furnace "You take care of yourself." James said softly, closing her eyes.

Declan turned to face Liliana as the rest of the agents began to walk out one by one after Carter was finished with his speech. He crossed his arms across his chest with a humored smirk at her comment about bomb diving n dumpsters, "You know, after tonight I think I'm going to drop that habit." he joked back. Maybe it was too soon to make jokes like that but their job was dangerous enough to be sensitive to jokes like these. He was about to raise his own hand to shake hers when she decided a hug was better. It took him back at first but seconds later he wrapped his arms around her tightly, one hand on her back and the other behind on her shoulder, "you too Lily," he said. One would expect after that they would let go and head home, however, that didn't happen and instead the two stood there holding each other. Without realizing it, Declan softly rocked Lily side to side as they held each other. He felt Lily bury her head in his shoulder and she felt his shoulder move up and down as he chuckled, "Crazy ass night." he says softly. He had to say something to distract his mind from going to places it's not suppose to but no one would blame him if it did, she was a attractive women and...he silently scolded himself get your mind out of the gutter, Declan...

The lights in the office worked on a automatic timer, turning off 45 minutes after closing time and during Liliana and Declan holding one another the lights suddenly turned off. Lily pulled away first when the lights turned off and he had to admit he already missed the warmth she provided. She bashfully told him they should probably get going and Declan agreed as he followed her to the elevator. The elevator ride felt both long and short, long because of his internal monologue with himself when he felt his hand brush against Liliana's a couple time and short because all it was going to take was a couple steps through the lobby before they went their own way. Declan and Liliana walked over to Declan's bike and stood together as Declan took his time putting on his gear. Declan was about to put on his helmet but stopped and looked at Liliana, "so um..." he started, "you live far from here? you need a ride?" It didn't seem to take much convincing as she hoped on after him. Since Lily didn't bring her helmet this time Declan decided to let her borrow his even when she tried to tell him to wear it just ignored her and put it on her himself before mounting his bike. He waited until he felt the two taps before taking off.

The ride to her apartment didn't last long, much to his dismay. He enjoyed feeling Liliana behind him, much much more than usual. So when he parked his bike and felt her get off he could feel the cold air on his back where her warmth would of been. She handed his helmet back to him and he placed it on the seat of his bike before walking beside her inside the building, "I don't know about you, but a hot bath, some hard alcoholic bev, and maybe a movie on HBO sounds like a good way to end after a night like this." he says with a chuckle trying to distract himself from how close the two were walking. He felt her hand brush against his from time to time and judging by the looks of some they were not used to seeing Liliana walking home with someone. One elevator ride later Declan found himself standing in front of Liliana's apartment door. He couldn't help but notice she took her sweet time unlocking the door and once she did she still stood outside to talk with him some more until finally Declan says, "I guess this is good night, huh." he said trying to hide his disappointment. She agreed and without thinking Declan stepped to her and wrapped his arms around her shit! shit shit shit shit! the hug didn't last as long as the one in the office did and Declan pulled away less gracefully, "you have a good one, Lily." he says before turning around and walking towards the elevator.

It was a good thing Liliana couldn't read minds cause all she would of heard were alot of swear words and calling himself an idiot. Why did he do that? why to make a move on a person who has absolutely no interest in you, not to mention she is your rival! sworn to stop you from taking your revenge! these were the words echoing in Declan's head as he walked out of the elevator, out of the lobby, out of the building, and onto his bike. She was probably laughing at him as he drove home. Probably called Jeannie to laugh at him. At least that's what he told himself. He was getting too soft and he needed to be that wolf that everyone feared, that's it...tomorrow, Marc is going to die...and V.A.G.E is not going to stop me....

The next day, once Declan was finally finished his morning ritual, he drove his bike towards the V.A.G.E HQ. There was a part of him that hoped he would reach the parkinglot the same time Liliana did but he pushed those thoughts behind him and just focused on the road, not willing to admit he was missing a certain someone on his back. Declan parked where he normally would and began taking off his gear before noticing Liliana walking towards him and a smile appeared on his lips, "Hey, Lily." he greets before walking beside her inside the giant building. they where greeted by the usual security guards, the usual secretaries and greeted by a very unexpected guest. As the elevator doors open there was a crowd consisting of Jeannie, Carter, Isaac, and one little girl who sat up in the chair and waved her arms at the two, "Hi Big sister! Hi big sister's boyfriend!"

Lilliana didn't seem to move from the hug. As a matter of fact, she kept holding on and he had done the same. Almost as if they were enjoying their time inside of this embrace He's so warm... Those blue hues had closed as her ears picked up Declan spoke and immediately she agreed "Crazy would be a lack of a better term, so I'd agree with you." The agent replied softly as they eventually were swaying and her face had buried more into his shoulder. The moment was quiet, peaceful even. Giving the pair the tranquility needed in this stressful night. While her eyes remained shut, she felt almost as if she was dancing with Declan. Her partner in crime for a month now. Most would think a month is too short, however when you basically spent almost 24/7 with the guy... It felt as if it was more than a month. Visiting the cafe, going on the same missions, looking out for eachother around every corner there was. It was the whole reason why Declan now shared an office with her. There was just no point in having him sit on the couch to do desk work. He might as well have a desk in her office and the pair would be able to investigate things individually without sounds from the main office itself.

The time felt so long. As if they stood there for hours just burying themselves in eachother. Opening her eyes, they still peered a bit over his shoulder and that warm smile tugged her lips. I keep questioning myself... But yet I can't help but feel so comfortable within his grasp like this... His arms around me much like a warm blanket swaddling a child. I've never felt so secure. The lights suddenly shut off on them and her head had lifted slightly "I guess that's our calling." Slowly she pulled away, her hands brushing his sides before they dropped to her own. Luckily it was dark enough for him not to see the dusting of pink upon her cheeks as she turned her back to him "We should be heading home. C'mon." With that said, they both moved the elevator and stood in silence beside one another. While their hands did brush against eachother multiple times, she could feel the goosebumps going up on the back of her neck and wondered if he was even able to see them. There was an itch to just hold his hand within hers but she fought that feeling. Declan, I wonder what you could possibly thinking right now. Could you be thinking what I'm thinking? Glancing at him from the corner of her eye, she could see he was simply standing there with his usual expression. But there was something slightly different about it. What that something was? She was unsure.

The pair departed out into the lobby and was now heading for the bike before going their separate ways. "I'm surprised you've forgotten where I live Declan. It's that one building on Henry Avenue. All glass windows and balconies." It wasn't a surprise despite her stating it was, after all he had only taken her once home and that's when she had a good beaten from Wolf himself. "But if you insist on driving me, how could I say no?" She asked as she got onto the back, completely fine with not putting a helmet on this once. However he pushed her to wear his, and as much as that was lovely and very manly of him, she'd rather him have the helmet "Declan, it's fine. You can wear it. I've done far more dangerous things." Like swinging from Wolf when chasing him down till they got to a roof on one of the buildings. Her partner simply ignored him and she waited a moment to see if he'd change his mind but he never did. Taking a defeated sigh, she slipped the helmet on and made sure it was secure before wrapping her arms carefully around him and patting his leg twice. Then they took off. If anything, she was quite jealous because he could feel the wind through his hair and well... She couldn't. That would be another experience that she'd absolutely love. The wind through her hair while travelling on his bike. I'd have to get my own bike for that. Then again he may force the helmet on me then too.

While the ride was short, she still enjoyed it. After he parked by the curb, she took the helmet off and then got off before handing it to him. Instead of letting her walk in alone, he decided to join her. You seem to be surprising me more and more tonight Declan. While she did lead the way, she did get a stare or two from the staff as she never really brought anyone home unless it was Jeannie for whatever reason. "Funny you should say that. I've already planned on having a few glasses of wine and perhaps maybe working on some more Agency work then passing out on my couch." The woman shrugged, their hands continuing to brush against one another. It took a lot for her to not sigh as she did not want him to get the wrong message. She was simply just struggling to breathe at the moment while she kept holding her breath. Once again they had gotten to an elevator and she had tapped her button to go up I keep stealing glances at him. I know what this is. It's unfamiliar but yet familiar. The question is, what do I want to do about it? The beating of her heart increased while her mind wondered and that was probably the worst idea as she tried to function after that. Thankfully they were already at her door and she pulled her keys out from her sleeve and took her time opening the door. In the process she could feel chills running up her spine rather strong, knowing he was right behind her. Calm yourself Lilliana. The grasp on her key became stronger -though not strong enough to bend the key- and she stuck it into the door as she opened it and pushed it slightly so it stayed open before turning back to him.

"Yeah, this is goodnight. We still have work tomorrow so it's not goodnight for long." She joked as he suddenly stepped closer and embraced her. Eyes slowly widened in surprise as she lifted her hands and started to return the hug but he immediately pulled back. There was this feeling as if he had just slipped through her fingers like sand and she wanted to grab him again but he had said his goodbye and left. The agent watched him walk down the hall and eventually disappear towards the elevators around the corner. He didn't even give me time... But then again it may have been for the best. Moving into her apartment, she quickly pulled off her shoes and rushed to her balcony as she peered over the railing waiting to see Declan head out. Soon enough, there he was, climbing onto his bike and soon he had driven off. Her gaze was soft as he eventually disappeared for good during the rest of the night "I'll see you tomorrow Declan." With that said into the wind, she headed back inside to give herself some much needed relaxsation.

Before she knew it, Lilliana was heading back to work all cleaned and basically good as new. Her leg no longer needed a bandage, however the wound was still there to some degree. The agent walked to work as she usually did and noticed Declan passing by on his bike. What great timing he seemed to have as she walked up to him while he parked. The smile on his face had not only brightened him up, but the skip of her heart made it abundantly clear there was something more going on then she anticipated if last night wasn't enough. "Good morning, Declan. Grea timing." Once he was ready to head inside, she walked beside him and did their usual routine to get inside. As soon as the elevator doors opened, she noticed a crowd that was not too far from the doors. With a raised eyebrow, she stepped out and walked over "What's going on?" She asked before she spotted a familiar face who waved her hands happily towards the two and her heart had dropped to the pit in her stomach while she facepalmed at Tiffany calling Declan her boyfriend. Now while that would be fairly nice considering the words and embraces they exchanged lastnight... It wasn't fully confirmed. By either of them.

Dixin leaned over the chair that Tiff had been sitting on and he gently tapped her to get her attention before pointing to himself. "Are you maybe looking at the wrong person? I'm your big sister's girlfriend." His lips curled up into a grin in attempt to even convince a small child that Lilliana was his.

Tiff stared at the blonde man and tilted her head slightly before sucking her teeth and shaking her head quickly from side to side. For a moment she crossed her arms and then used one of her hands to point a finger up "No, you aren't her type mister." Then she pointed said-finger towards Declan "He is!" Of course Lilliana had responded with a sigh and a shake of her own head "Big sister knows the good guys!" Her attention then returned back to Dix "You don't look like a good guy."

It was clear that Dixin was caught off guard by this statement as he sputtered out partial words but eventually gave up before turning his head away with his nose high "Well you're wrong." He then walked away while Tiff kicked her feet happily on her chair as she held her hands out to the pair to be picked up. On top of that, Jeannie, Isaac, and Carter all seemed to have a smile on their face and let out their own chuckles with the scene before them.

At least Tiff seemed to be on her side as well against Dixin. Even hit him where it hurts without actually physically touching him "Tiffany. Why are you here? Didn't I tell you to call me if you need anything?" Lilliana asked as she walked up and picked up the girl in her arms. "Shouldn't you also be in school? It's a weekday." The woman fixed up Tiff's hair as Tiff began to explain what happened and what caused her sudden arrival.

"Mommy drank too much adult apple juice and hasn't woken up yet, when this happens daddy takes me to school but he's not home either so I missed school! BUT, I remembered where you worked so I came to visit. I couldn't call you cause mommy found the paper you gave me and threw it out so I didn't know the number..."
The girl twittled her thumbs together before she felt warmth coming from Lilliana at an accelerated rate before suddenly she was handed to Declan. Tiffany was confused for a moment before looking at the man and smiling as she placed her small hands on his cheeks "Hello big sister's boyfriend!" She said with a laugh.

Jeannie blinked a few times as she walked over and placed her finger on Lilliana's skin before immediately pulling it away "Yep. She's hot. I could probably cook some eggs on that skin right now." She warned, looking at the others who definitely kept their distance.

"So not only does mommy drink too much adult apple juice, but she also throws out your only method of calling me when you need me? Daddy also isn't home even after what happened the last time?" She reiterated, however it sounded silly coming from her mouth as she was not one to use "mommy" "daddy" or even "Adult apple juice" almost ever. When Tiffany confirmed this, her skin was as hot as lava. If anything, people would think she had the heater on. Relaxed hands turned into fists as her back turned to everyone He is so blind to his own ignorance. The woman drinks while Tiffany is present and even takes her method of contacting me for help. What if there was an emergency? Sure she has 911 but I would be there far quicker. On top of that she walked the city by herself. Her head tilted and rolled a bit along with her shoulders as she could feel the heat in her veins going up her neck. There was rage, so much rage that she wasn't sure if she could hold the reigns on it as she hadn't gotten this angry. Not even when Carter tried to push her to her limits during training. "I hope Wolf does something after the stunts we had last night. Because I'm going to need to let off some steam." After those words left her lips, her muscles were trembling "Carter, I'm going into the special room we have made. Make sure the water is on." In case of a situation similar to this one...A room was made for her. Almost like a cell to keep her contained. V.A.G.E did take many precautions for each agent. Rooms were always replaced depending who left, who came in and was new, also existing agents. Though the more dangerous ones had the higher priority. Like Lilliana.

When Declan asked where she was going, Jeannie spoke up "She's going to level D." While a joke could've been made here, she was serious. Had Declan asked what level D was, she answered pretty much immediately "It's where V.A.G.E agents as dangerous as her can and will go if they ever lost control or went rogue. For Lilliana's case, she has a steel room with freezing cold water to either 1: Shock her body or 2: Cool her down slowly. Almost like an operating Neuclar plant." Looking at Declan, she continued "I'm assuming that she is so upset that little Tiff here had gone through something like this again... Caused her to be pushed to a point where she needed to isolate herself before exploding the whole building...Now I'm not sure if she could actually do that but I wouldn't put it past someone like her with flames as strong as her."

Going back down on the elevator, she went to level D. Which also stood for: Ground Detainment. While it was underground and rough to build, it kept the city from being affected had anything happen. As soon as the door opened, she was greeted by two agents who looked at eachother and then at her, wondering what she was doing down here. "Seems Carter's voice didn't reach down here. My room. Asap. Water on." They moved quickly and she walked at a decent pace, the world almost feeling as if it was moving in slow motion with every step. I can feel it. I feel every ounce of fire within my skin. I'm so hot I'm surprised I didn't burn my own skin off by now. She thought as she finally came up to her room and took off her shoes (while also pulling off important items like phone and keys) before she placed them on the ground. James then stepped into her cell and slammed the door shut. It was a big steel door which allowed a small window to be inserted to keep an eye on her. The water was on, but every droplet that hit her had merely evaporated. My father has been useless since my mother died. I got off lucky when I came here to V.A.G.E when I was younger. The water continued to fall on her, still ending with the same result. Carter was the one who interviewed me, tested my powers, and knew that I could become a great agent one day. He wasn't wrong. Her blue eyes had closed while her head tilted up towards the water for a short time After that, Carter was the father I needed to grow. There was so much feedback, so many training sessions. Bringing her head back down, her hands lifted up in front of her and pressed the palms against the steel wall which had been cold to the touch. He pushed me to my limits. Or so I thought.

The water started to get colder, sizzling still being heard I used to set myself ablaze. Fire licking off every inch of my body and burning any clothing I had on that wasn't fire proof. I still do that to this day, though without the burning-clothes part. It was almost as if her voice echoed within her mind. This is different. This is not me setting myself ablaze. This rage is different from the others. I have a burning heart, a burning body. The moment she thought about how Tiff came by herself, how her mother drank and cared not along with her dad... This alone caused her tempature to go up once again. "Colder dammit!" She shouted as her hands slammed into the wall and felt the water getting even colder shortly after. Almost as if she was in the arctic. But with her body temp, there was no way to suffer any sort of frostbite at the moment. James' jaw tightened and she tilted her head slightly. Was it that she had contained the flames but the heat was burning from within? No doubt Carter is going to want to see what my ability does now that it's pushing my limits. Hands turned into fists as she tried to direct her thoughts elsewhere. Any time she thought about Tiffany and her safety and the situation she's stuck in simply just made her angrier. So...She turned it towards Declan. Everything thus far that she experienced within the last 24 hours.

Investigating the Warehouse, almost getting blown up, and then having cafe time together. Ever since the first day she took him there, he's gone with her practically every day. They'd spend every moment together whether it be silent in the office doing work, or riding on that beautiful bike outside. You've just joined us and yet it feels like you've been with us for years. Why? Opening her eyes, she would look down at her hands as she could remember touching his soft and smooth skin when pulling those pieces from his wounds. Admiring his well sculpted body that she would believe was hand-crafted by God himself. His hands grabbed my face and wiped my tears last night... His forehead on mine... Lifting one of her hands, she gently touched her forehead and a small smile tugged her lips I remember those words he said to me as if he had just said them now. There was never a time where she cried in front of her coworkers. She'd remain stoic and fight any tears from coming to the surface no matter how much she wanted to cry. But yet, Declan got to see such a sensitive side of her. Suddenly she inhaled as she found herself not breathing and her hand pressed onto her chest to feel her heart I stopped breathing? When did that happen? Was the water starting to get to her? Looking at her arms and her clothes, she noticed that the droplets were no longer evaporating. Which meant her body was cooling down. Well that's some good news. Lilliana thought to herself as she stood there for a while longer. "This'll be something that needs to be recorded..." While she said this, her hand knocked on the door and eventually it opened to reveal one of the agents with some towels in his hands.

"Thank you. If it werent for this box then maybe I would've lit this place on fire." Her hair had been stuck to her face and her clothes were soaked. But at least her body had been cooled and she could feel the cold settling in. Grabbing the towels she tried to dry off her skin, and then went for her hair. "We're going to need a report. We need to document this for my file so lets go sit at the front desk down here. I'll tell you what happened." The agent then nodded and the both of them went, filling out the report. New information was added: Burning internal rage, heat running through the veins so hot that they physically bothered her, skin so hot that water evaporated immediately rather than took a moment, it also was seemingly almost as if control was about to be lost, along with trembling muscles. "Thank you." She said with a slight bow of her head, she made sure that the time she had was spent drying off so she could get back to work. Once done, she began to make her way up, unaware of the fact that she may have taken a bit too long. When she got to her floor, she noticed Jeannie sitting closeby and ran up to her.

"Hey! You took a really long time... Are you okay?" Jeannie asked

James nodded "Yeah, I'm fine now. Where's Tiff and Declan?"

"Well...Shortly after you left Declan took her to school. He should be returning by now if he hasn't already and I happened to miss him. Do you realize how hot you were? I almost burned my finger."

"Yeah...Well...I was hot enough to make the water evaporate instantaniously. Which means I was more than likely hotter than my previous record."

With wide eyes, she looked at Lilliana as if she spoke another language. Her voice dropped low with her jaw pracitcally dropped "Are you serious? You can go hotter than your previous record?"

"I'm just as surprised as you, Jeannie. Despite my years of working here, there's still more to learn about someone with my power. I'll be heading to my office. I need to see if they updated the system with the new kids that did the assault last night." With that said, she walked towards her office, keeping herself composed. At least Declan was kind enough to take Tiffany to school... She'd have to pay him back for that. There was no need for him to go out of his way as Tiffany was her own responsibilty. Not his.

Declan turned his head to hide his chuckle as the little girl known as Tiff absolutely and innocently wreaked Dixin and his come back was to tell her she was wrong. Then again, again, to argue with a little girl over who her boyfriend was is a bit immature for a adult but it's Dixin he was talking about here. Declan didn't realize it but Liliana nor himself reacted in any way to Tiff's nickname for him. Of course, one person noticed but she was currently swooning over the cute little child that was currently in their office. Declan let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose after hearing Tiff's story. After the lashing Liliana gave her father and Tiff's mom they still were making mistakes that put this little girl in danger. It upset him but it seemed to upset Liliana even more as she handed Tiff to him and walked off. Tiff mushed his cheeks and he made a fish face causing her to laugh.

He turned his head towards where Liliana walked and the confusion was noticed by Jeannie who begun to explain where she was going. He blinks before looking back at Liliana just as she disappears behind two elevator doors. To think this place had 'danger rooms' for people with dangerous powers, it made him wonder just how many people like Liliana where in V.A.G.E HQ, "Is, is big sister mad because of me?" an innocent voice said from his arms as Tiff looked at Declan with sad eyes. It shattered his heart seeing her like this. She was far too young and adorable to be raised by such idiotic parents.

"Of course not!" Declan says as he ruffles Tiff's hair, "she just needs to do her morning training, that's all." His brief explanation seemed to bring Tiff's smile back on her face before she nodded. Declan turned his attention back at Jeannie who was currently swooning still but this time at Declan and his handling of this child, "Hey, Jeannie, would you mind holding down the fort? I am going to take Tiff to school."

"No! I wanna hang out with big sister!" Tiff complained.

"Sorry, Tiff, but if big sister was here she would agree you need to go to school." Declan says as he starts walking towards the elevators. The two where locked in a brutal 'nuh uh yeah huh' battle as they walked towards the elevator all the while Declan not realizing the swooning that was happening behind him from all the female agents that saw how he interacted with this child. Tiff was too small to take on his bike so he had to take one of the V.A.G.E marked cars. Tiff was sitting in the passenger seat pretending to pout but soon her pouting turned to amazement as she seen parts of the city she has never seen before. He even stopped for some dip and dots before continuing to get her to school, of course it was a small since she hasn't eaten anything yet and didn't want to upset her stomach.

Eventually he got her to school, parking the car next to the school entrance. Tiff got out but didn't run across the street, instead waiting for Declan before she took his hand and hummed as they got to the front doors. After checking in at the front desk Tiff and Declan sat side by side waiting for her teacher, while they waited Tiff was excitingly pointing at class photos mounted on the wall. She named off every student and their favorite toy or game they played and even puffed her cheeks when Declan accused her of having a crush.

"No! boys are icky!" was her response and Declan chuckled.

"Yes, they are, Tiff, so don't get too close to them." he says as he pats her head. This child wasn't his, nor was he related to her but for what ever reason he felt very protective of her. Maybe not as much as Liliana but still protective.

"Sorry I couldn't arrive sooner." A sudden voice says, When Declan looked it was a youngish women walking towards them. The teacher smiled almost immediately when she saw Tiff any, "oh Hello Tiffany! we missed you."

"Hi Mrs. Vasquez!" Tiff beamed as the teacher begins petting her head.

"You know your way to class right?." Vasquez asked and Tiff nodded, "good, go make your way over, Mrs. Malerie is waiting for you." Tiff nodded and gave Declan a hug before saying 'bye big sister's boyfriend' her voice echoing in the hallway before she walked off. The teacher sighed and looked back at Declan, "Mom passed out again?" the teacher asked and Declan blinked.

"According to Tiff that was the case." Declan answered and the teacher shook her head again as she rubbed her temples, "does this happen often? like 2 or 3 times a week?" a small huff escaped the teacher.

"Try 2 or 3 weeks." she answered and Declan's eyes widen, "I thought it would change when we talked to her mother and father together but it only seemed to have gotten worse. We even had to take her home ourselves when her mother failed to pick her up before it got too dark." Declan was surprised to be hearing this. How could two parents be so wildly irresponsible? Tiff is lucky she has so many people looking out for her.

"Is there anyway we can add a emergency contact?" Declan asked looking at Vasquez, however, she shook her head, telling him they can't add anything to her file, "well, what if I just give you a number? to Agent Liliana James, it's Tiff's half sister." Vasquez looked at him and thought for a moment.

"We're not suppose to...but seeing as you did bring her here, I'll write it down but only use it if it's a emergency, Deal?" Vasquez says and Declan nodded. He wrote Liliana's number on a piece of paper before handing it to Mrs. Vasquez. afterwards he said bye to her and walked out of the school building. He debated if he should tell Liliana about the whole situation. He saw just how angry she got when Tiff said her mother over slept he couldn't imagine what would happen if he told her it happened 2 or 3 weeks in a row. Maybe he'll tell her during their training session later on today and hopefully not get burned alive in the process.

He drove back to HQ, parked the marked car in the parking garage and walked back into the office. Around this time it was almost ten, still an hour before they needed to go train. He opened the door to their office and saw her writing something on her computer, "hey, Lily, I'm...feeling a little tight." he tells her as he rolls his shoulders, "let's go train a bit, I know it's still an hour away from training time but I got this knot that I think a good training session can help with." it was a lie obviously but he felt like his acting was convincing enough, "care to join me?" he smirks, "or are you afraid I'll beat you in grappling again?" now that was a lie as the last couple of times they grappled she wiped the mat with him.

Lilliana was sitting at her desk, her head resting on her hand as she scrolled through the files of the most recently caught imposters. They seemed like petty criminals tied to multiple different crimes ranging from battery, B&E, and more. These guys weren't just random citizens who wanted to suddenly become like Wolf. They were already criminals, which means this cult is all banded of criminals from the underbelly no doubt. The place where she'd refuse to investigate unlike some others. It got dark enough to where she couldn't handle it, though if something pushed her to that point she'd probably have to suck it up and go to the underbelly of the city. While looking deeper into their files, she decided the hallucinogenic was her top priority as they can cause serious problems. Looks like they're aware of his powers. Detained in a room where his smoke cant be release. According to their testing they did in the past few hours they notated his hallucinations being strong and instantaneous. He can also control those hallucinations, even injecting himself and making himself larger than he appears. Her hand had now been covering her mouth as those eyes studied the screen. If this man ever escaped it would be hell on earth. Is there any limits? Continuing to scan over his file, there was nothing she could find as they were probably still testing that.

Leaning back in her chair, she sighed and crossed her arms while her gaze never left her screen before she started to write something else in to search. Then suddenly her door had opened and those eyes lifted to see Declan poking his head in. Pausing her search, she watched as he was rolling his shoulders and claiming he wanted to train a little bit early. "You have a knot and you believe training with me is going to help that? A little daring aren't we? I'd assume that'd make it worse." Pushing herself from her desk, she not only removed her gloves and place them down, but she got up onto her feet and walked over "Since you're deciding to try to challenge me, I can't pass this one up." With that said, she brushed past him and walked to the elevator where she took lead. "I heard from Jeannie you got Tiffany to school." When they stepped inside and the doors closed, she glanced over at him "Thank you. You didn't have to do that. After I was finished I was going to bring her myself. But you beat me to the punch it seems." This was one of the reasons why she liked having Declan as a partner, he just did things whether he was asked or not. Took initiative without any rhyme or reason.

As the pair made it down to the training floor, she stepped out and went to find an unoccupied room for their early training. Once she did, she opened the door and stepped inside before pulling her phone, keys, and very small wallet from her sleeve and put them aside to remain out of the way. "I'm surprised you haven't accepted defeat yet from our previous sessions. You're just as persistent as you are with the house special back at the cafe." The agent joked while removing her shoes and approaching the mat while stretching out her muscles some. "I'm not going to go easy on you, Declan. As per-usual right?" One of her infamous smiles tugged the corner of her lips as she prepared herself for the take-down. When he was ready and they both agreed; It began. While it was not full combat hand-to-hand, it was still a struggle of taking one another down. Being as strong as eachother, it made it for a fairly even fight especially with Declan learning a lot from Carter. While Lilliana looked less skilled, her performance proved to be skilled and strong. This was her strongsuit, head-to-head battling. While yes she had flames and could probably utilize them to become ranged, the thrill of being in someone's face and trying to take them down was far more thrilling. "Is Carter showing you some new moves? I don't remember you using this last time." She asked, both hands wrapped around Declan's wrists tightly to prevent him from taking her down.

"Maybe he just wants to see you win once against me at the very least." James taunted as she continued to resist takedown. The positioning of her feet was keeping her grounded, but she knew if he tried anything with his legs, she could go down fairly easily. But that could be solved quickly with a little bit of tuck and roll right? "Oh? Did I strike a nerve with you, Mr Harper." Nothing stopped her from talking shit during these times. In fact, she did like to taunt her enemies when she felt it called for it.

Declan kept up the act, placing one hand on his shoulder and rolling it. He watched as Liliana took off her gloves and got to her feet well that was easier than I thought he thought to himself. A smirk appeared on his face when she said she couldn’t pass this one up and walked past them, locking eyes with him as she did so. He followed her to the elevator and stood beside her as it went down. He shook his head when she thanked him for taking Lily home, “it’s the least I could do to be honest, you already have enough on your plate with you being hot and all.” He didn’t seem to realize the phrasing he used since he didn’t turn into a stuttering mess afterwards.

Once the elevator hit the training room floor the pair walked off and went their separate ways. Liliana had already walked inside the training room since her attire was fit to be used in training. Declan, on the other hand, had to change out of his suit, putting on a black sleeveless shirt and matching sweatpants. Once dressed he followed her onto the matt stretching out his own muscles and smirking at her words, “well, what can I say, when I want to conquer something I…” his words trailed off as his eyes landed on Liliana as she began stretching her legs giving him a nice view of her butt, “Conquer…it…” he tore his gaze away and faked a cough. He go into position as Liliana told him she wasn’t going to go easy on him and he just shrugs, “I would be disappointed if you did, Lily, now stop stalling and let’s do this.” He says with a smirk. The two of them got into position, and with a nod of their head it began!

Declan rushed forward, normally it was Liliana who made the first move, but Carter told him during their sparring sessions that normally if someone skilled enough makes the first move it can dictate the flow of the fight. Declan grabbed Liliana’s wrist and positioned himself seemingly to do a basic throw, however, the moment he felt Lilian’s body shift to counter his throw he continued his movement ending up behind her, keeping a grip on her wrist as he did so.

He planned on wrenching her arm up her back so her body instinctively would go with it to prevent any damage and push her once she did so he could cause her to get off balance, however, he only managed to plant his feet when Liliana countered by dropping to her knee causing Declan’s body to lean forward to keep the grip on her wrist, she reached up and grabbed a hand full of Declan’s shirt and forced him up and over her while ripping her wrist free from his grip. Declan fell on his back but quickly grabbed the other hand she had planted on the ground before pulling. Since she had a lot of her body weight being supported by that hand she suddenly found herself on the mat as well. Declan rolled, like a crocodile doing the death roll, while keeping a grip on her wrist before he got on one knee and pulled her to him. She suddenly found herself in a embrace for a second with both her arms being pinned at her side by Declan’s arms before finding herself being lifted and dropped on the mat.

Ding…Round One…Declan Harper. A robotic voice says from the intercoms.

Declan didn’t move as he hovered over Liliana, a smirk on his face, “I thought you weren’t going to go easy on me, Lily,” he teased looking down at her. He stayed in this position for maybe a bit longer than he should have before he got up and offered her his hand up. They got in position again and once again they went at each other for round two. Liliana grabbed both his wrists and joked about Carter showing him some moves and maybe wanting him to win a few rounds. When she asked if her words struck a nerve Declan chuckled, “Trust me Lily,” he says before rolling his wrists out of her grip, grabbed her wrist, and forced them behind her back, causing her body to be pressed against his and he looks down at her, his forehead against hers, “if you strike a nerve you’ll be the first to know.” He smiles at her and the two stay in that position for a little bit longer than they intended to before she ripped one of her hands free, shoved Declan but not before tripping him. He lost his balance and Liliana went in for the kill, pushing her hand against his chest and forced him to the ground.

Ding…Round two…Liliana James…

He leaned his head against he mat and let out a breath before smiling up at Liliana, “that was dirty.” He obviously joked.

Lilliana let a smirk tug the corner of her lips while she began to respond to her partner "Good to know. I'll keep that in mind, Declan." It didn't take him long to break from her grasp and suddenly turn the tables as he managed to pull her wrists behind her, forehead against forehead, their bodies up against one another in the process of it all. The agent felt that flutter inside her stomach once again at this action, and those blue eyes had locked with his own golden gaze. His eyes I could get lost in forever... They're just as beautiful as gold. Thought the woman while remaining in silence with him. Why were these moments becoming far more common? Just last night she had done similar, admiring his form in every aspect she could and exposing a side of her that she'd never expose to others at the agency. It was almost as if the silence while being in close proximity was the most comforting thing in the world for her. While it was new to her and felt absolutely wonderful, there was still one thing going on: They were grapple training. Did she want to ruin such a mood? What path could she take in this moment? Did she want...

Those blue hues dropped down from his eyes and looked a bit further down towards his lips with the angle she could. No. She had thought to herself and also seemingly was sad for just a flash of a second I'm sorry. With that thought in mind, she ripped her hand free and shoved him back. It was time she got this win for this round. Her positioning had changed as she tripped him in the process and then basically pounced him, her palm pressing against his chest as she forced him down. Not going up from here. Not this time. Soon enough the robotic voice came over the intercom and declared her win for this round. While she was panting some, his joke didn't fall on deaf ears as she looked down toward him "Sometimes playing dirty is the best way to go... Going the more legal route sometimes isn't the best. Of course depending on the circumstances." With a shrug, she continued to keep her palm on his chest. The texture of his sleeveless shirt right beneath her fingertips. There were secrets she needed to... Well... Keep secret. One that happened to be in the back of her mind... Talking with Wolf directly. He gave her the time, and the name of the incident.

It was a matter of meeting him. But how would that happen aside from actually having to defend a target in the process? On top of it all, she needed to find someone to get into those classified documents that were even above her. It felt like there was barely progress made and that needed to change. Normally by now she'd have everything ready and moving but...A month has gone by. Here she was on top of her newest teammate, her newest partner. Perhaps he was a distraction to her? No, that surely couldn't be true... Right? Reports... Missions... Things were clearly rolling. But not as fast, and that somewhat bothered her. Should she share the secret with him? Would he be mad that she would resort to actually talking to Wolf instead of detaining him? Even though her mouth had opened to speak once more, nothing came out as she could feel herself struggling to speak to him. Closing her lips together, her hand had closed on his chest like a fist. Declan's shirt somewhat crinkling between her fingers. I've never had trouble talking to him. I would usually say just about anything. But this? It feels as if I'm trying to tell him my deepest darkest secret. Her ears had picked up his voice and immediately she had focused on him and gaze.

It was clear that he was worried about her as nothing left her mouth. "Hmm? Yeah, I'm okay. Just... Thinking I suppose." Her hand had loosened on his chest and she debated getting up to continue their training or actually talk this out.

Absentmindedly, Declan kept his hands on her legs as she sat on top of him responding in her own unique way to his comment. She was absolutely right, sometimes going to legal route wasn’t the best course of action but he wasn’t going to say the last bit out loud. However, it seemed she had a lot on her mind as she not only kept her hand on his chest but remained seated on top of him, not that he minds. It’s not every day you can get a view like this from a women like Lily and not only that she didn’t seem to mind him looking or maybe she was thinking about something else? About Tiff and how her mother drank herself into a stupor and not being able to act like an adult and take her daughter to school? Maybe it was her fights with Wolf and how after that battle where she broke his mask she never got that close to capturing him again? Maybe she was thinking about him who she was still currently sitting on top of?

He felt his shirt being balled into her fist before he looked up at her, “What’s wrong?” Declan grins, “Cat got your tongue?” He expected a quick witted response from Liliana, but his grin faded from his face when she didn’t respond and instead just looked at him or look past him, “Hey, Lily,” he says as she snapped out of what ever trance she looked to be in, “Are you ok?” he asks her. She answered him but she still seemed deep in thought, even after he felt his shirt stop being pulled. Declan sat up using his arms to support him up before locking eyes with her once again, “Penny for your thoughts?” he asks before raising two fingers and tapping them against her forehead, “Of am I still forbidden to know what goes on in that head of yours?” He teased. Once again, she didn’t respond and only looked at him, but her expression said it all. Whatever she was thinking she couldn’t say it to him or least struggled to find the words to tell him. However, when she opened her mouth, probably finding it within her to tell him what was going on, Declan placed his finger against her lips to stop her, “Obviously you’re struggling with something, if you aren’t ready to tell me, I’m not going to push.” He drops his hands and rests his hands on her thigh once again and smiled at her, “I’ll support you regardless of what’s going on in that head of yours.”

Now it was Declan’s turn to be apprehensive, he took his hand off of Lily’s thigh and rubbed the back of his head. Was now the time to let her know about Tiff’s situation? He glanced over at Liliana, and she wasn’t even breathing heavily. Yeah, now isn’t the time to tell her yet…when she asked if he was ok Declan just nodded, “I’m fine, just waiting for you to get up so we can keep training.” He says with a grin before a shrug his shoulders, “unless you want to spend the rest of our training like this?” he chuckles, “which, I’m sure half of the people in this building would kill to be in this position.” He joked.
