Thou are invited to partake 'i a momentous event. His Majesty, the King, hath decided to power a game for all to enjoy.

There shall be prizes to be won and glory to be achieved. Thou hast the chance of winning 10,000 golden claws and having thy name renowned for generations to come!

Thou shall also hast the chance of meeting His Majesty, the King, for a grand feast and may bid of His Majesty for any one thing of thy choosing.

If a king sits in his royal chair long enough, he becomes bored. Which is why King Aecides Calliwell, ruler of the Kingdom of Aturea, has decided to host The King's Game, a series of trials that anyone can partake in. The trials consist of combat, stealth, botanical knowledge, healing capabilities, physical prowess, and more. All of the participants will be split up into teams, so it is just as much on each individual's skills as it is on their ability to work together. And the reward for winning this game?

Fame.

Glory.

Gold.

And an audience with His Majesty, the King himself. The winners will enjoy a hearty feast with King Aecides and each team member may be able to ask of him one thing of their choosing.

It seems like a simple enough task for a simple enough reason. Play the King's Game, win some prizes, and be on your merry way. But behind this veil of innocent boredom is something brewing, something sinister.
