Joel The Unforgiven
Special Operations - Ghost Squad
Joel The Unforgiven submitted a new role play:
Survival of The Best Adapted - Stranded on an island of xenophobic bandits with people you don't even know? Good luck...

overview
Welcome to Wolvar Island, population... Well, that's spoilers.
Setting: The role play is set in a modern era is if it were occurring right as you read this, hence why there'll be no superpowers or high-tech laser weapons lying around. You're free to carry some basic form of weapon on your during the flight but don't forget you wouldn't be able to carry anything metal due to the metal detectors in theory - feel free to message me if you need to check anything. IMPORTANT: All forms of outbound communication have been cut off by an unknown source, this means you may receive messages from the outside world but will be unable to return them - in effect, in order to escape you need to regain that communication while surviving long enough to do so.
Backstory: You are a passenger of flight 742 crossing over the Atlantic Ocean, the journey is smooth and relaxed for most of the way through the night until something begins to glow off to one side of the plane, seeming to get closer and closer. Suddenly it strikes the wing, causing an explosion and forcing an emergency landing - fortunately there is an island in the direction the light came from, everyone prepares themselves for the crash and closes their eyes as it smashes into the ground. This is where your story starts.
The Island: The island is tropical paradise which means the classic palm trees, golden beaches, deep jungles etc... The inhabitants hinted at wont be described until the role play gets underway but be warned, most aren't friendly. There are a few small shanty towns, some being abandoned ruins, others thriving towns.
maps
This is a birds-eye view of the island which has a sister island beside it (Unknown to the characters for now). The crash will occur on the coastline at the top middle of the map on the flat section which is jutting out a little. For reference - the first island (Wolvar Island) is roughly 11 miles in length and 5 miles thick so there's plenty to explore and many secrets to find.
rules
I hate rules as much as you do but there's a few we're gonna need for this role play:
1. Basic RP Nation rules.
2. No superpowers/things which aren't realistic.
3. If your character 'finds' anything make it fit with the theme and keep it fair - I don't want anyone finding an AK-47 in the plane wreckage somehow ^-^
4. If you want to kill another character make sure you confirm it's ok with them before doing so.
5. If you're unsure about posting anything due to it being unfair or not fitting then just send me a quick message.
6. Put the code "Wolvar Island" at the bottom of your character sheet if you've read this.
