An earth-shaking explosion rattled the glass on the front of the warehouse, followed by a nearly imperceptible thud on the roof and slow but steady fire from the skylight that cracked the helmets of the Gangsters one by one, knocking them out as if with sharp blows to the forehead or jaw. Was it that mischievous sniper, having finally gotten free? It was surprising that someone as determined as Shiina would have let her go, but it was welcome.

Furiko rounded a corner, staying near the walls of the building and behind the shelves. Things seemed rough at first, especially with the awkward manner of their insertion, but the tide was finally turning in favor of the not-even-recruits-yet.

One Gangster threw herself against a wall, trembling all over as she tried to get out of the sniper's line of sight. Landing on her butt, she locked eyes with the equally cautious Furiko. The reflexes of a criminal used to bullying others with her weapon took over. She leveled her rifle and-

Click.

Empty.

Furiko was a fraction of a second later to take aim, but the revolver fired as surely as it ever could.

With a CRACK, the bullet deflected off the Gangster's half-helmet, hitting a joint holding up one of the many rusty old shelves in the warehouse.

The structure creaked, then groaned, and fell over, burying the hapless Gangster and a couple of her as-yet unsubdued comrades in a landslide of cardboard and wood.

Furiko sighed, taking a knee.

Five more shots.

Shiina bearing witness to their handcuffed civilian unhandcuffing themselves and then using a hand grenade and traffic cone to propel themselves onto the target building, landing a shot with a sniper rifle while in midair (and spinning no less) was a lot to process in that short amount of time.

How could anyone with normal sensibilities even respond to that level of sheer insanity?

"I guess she's responsible for her own actions at this point." Shiina said as she loaded another drum magazine into her submachinegun.

She observed that the enemies in the building, specifically those who were shooting at the windows, were neutralized or otherwise turning their attention to the inside of the warehouse. The astounded shooting from the helmet gangsters indicated that some were turning their attention to the chaos going on inside, and the covering fire was now raining down from the roof entry point.

"Let's head inside too while they're distracted. Evelyn, I'll cover you and Tsuyoi as you make your way into the building!"
"Let's go!"

The firefight was wreaking havoc inside the warehouse as exchange gunfire blasted and echoed while containers were being shot into squares of Swiss cheese. One stack of boxes caused a landslide, adding to the chaos. Gunsmoke and dust from the fighting had also polluted the air within the warehouse, and it was starting to become harder to identify friend from foe; only the occasional muzzle flash would give the location of a combatant in this fog of battle.

Furiko was struggling to identify targets that weren't immediately near her. Given their situation, it was likely that most of those muzzle flashes were from opposing helmet gangsters. Still, she had to conserve what little ammunition she had left in her revolver. There was also a chance that Shiina and the others were going to begin to storm the building soon to mop up the warehouse of any more hostiles. She didn't want to waste precious ammo firing on friendlies.

In the smoke, Furiko made out a silhouette approaching her and Kihachi.

The details of that silhouette became clearer as she came closer. The bright pink hair was unmistakable, even though they just met an hour or so ago. It was Shiina. Carefully making her way towards them as she was clearing the warehouse with an assault rifle.

Shiina leveled her BAR towards Kihachi and Furiko.

She began to fire at them.

''Need to reload on some bullets..'' Kihachi let out a sound of a 'phew', relieved that she hasn't been knocked out by the fight and was still surviving and fighting. As per usual firearm procedures, she then started to take off the empty mag, and threw it away, replacing it with a new one that holds bullets and makes sure that the Daewoo K1 from Valkyrie was still working.

However, her cat ears underneath the cap perked up to hear the sound of footsteps from Kihachi and Furiko's location. And then when she turned around, the small girl saw a silhouette, and once the fog had been only slightly a little clear, only a certain pink-haired girl could be discerned by it's appearance.

The small girl was about to raise her arm to wave at the girl, only to be ''greeted'' with an M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle aimed at them at point blank. Kihachi immediately grabbed Furiko by her collar despite her height, and tried to get away with her, but ultimately got herself hit in the leg by some bullets shot from Shiina's firearm.

''Darn...'' Kihachi muttered quietly under her breath, her casual expression turning a bit more slightly serious. To make sure that friendly fire starts to de-escalate between them and Kihachi wouldn't have to point the rifle at her, she then spoke, sweating a little and confused by the current predicament she had been unfortunately involved in, ''H-hey, It's just us I swear-'' But it must seem like those words didn't reach or were too quiet as the bullets still persisted and still tried to hit her and the black-haired classmate.

Out of immediate instinct, Kihachi started dragging Furiko with her while dodging the bullets. As soon as she and her other classmate was able to get away, she then loaded her assault rifle and was debating with herself whether to defend herself or spare her pink-haired classmate.

And she chose the latter.

Aiming the Daewoo K1 at the girl, she then started shooting bullets at the girl, while hoping in the back of her mind that she doesn't accidentally destroy the firearms kept in the warehouse.

"U-unhand me, cat!" Furiko gasped, twisting slightly to pull her shirt out of Kihachi's grasp. Just when things seemed like they might be getting better, the pendulum had to swing the other way. This little group of the Helmet Gang was all but routed, and it might not be necessary to pick off the stragglers who would likely soon make themselves scarce.

And yet here they were, continuing to dodge machine gun fire from someone who really, really should know better. As Kihachi finally unhanded her, Furiko turned, elbowing one of the few Gangsters still standing, sending her crumpling to the floor. Of course, there was no reason one couldn't continue engaging any combatants that came within arm's reach, but perhaps she did it more to get her on the ground and spare her the possibility of being shot.

"Have you gone deaf?!" Furiko yelled over the din at Shiina. "Hold your fire!"

Really, that did little to solve the immediate problem. But maybe this would.

With a shing, Furiko drew her sword. The sight and sound of something so uncommon might remind Shiina of who was in her sights.

And just for good measure...

Furiko flung her arm to the side, slicing across one of the big shelves. A cloud of shredded cardboard and styrofoam flew into the air, further obscuring their forms and preventing Shiina from aiming carelessly at them in her..."panic". Yes, she'd call it that.

Evelyn Andahlia
Status: Interested & Amused.

Evelyn Kept her eyes on the enemies before her, listening, but not looking to her teammates to her left. Evelyn shot, felling as many enemies as the magazine would allow before a click silenced her efforts. One bullet for each helmet gang member who was defeated. She’d finally turn her attention back to the two beside her before hearing Kiyone’s words.

“We’ll speak on that matter after this is over and done with.”

Evelyn replied, lifting the rifle one handed up to Kiyone, and taking a pistol, which was quickly hidden inside one of the maid’s many storage pouches in her dress. This time she lifted her shield, and held her mace in the other hand. Enough of their adversaries had been dealt with that Evelyn felt confident advancing. Only for her thoughts to be interrupted by an explosion that did the exact opposite of what Evelyn had thought. Kiyone must have found the stronger traffic cone in Kivitos to pull off her stunt. Well, it left only Evelyn and Shiina.

“Of course. Get behind me.”

Evelyn vaulted the concrete barrier and held her shield up while walking towards the front entrance. Any fire that did come their way plinked off the shield or the armor on Evelyn’s legs. She was a walking shield for Shiina to administer fire from behind while getting ever closer to the building. As long as no more explosives were lobbed their way, the two should have a pretty easy time arriving there.

Very quickly, the soon-to-be-SRT girls were gaining the upper hand. What was once a warzone, was now... still a warzone, but at least they could be out in the open without taking a bullet every second or two. The tide had shifted, and now it was the helmet gangsters who had to worry about popping their heads out of cover.

But they still chanced it now and then, and when they did, Kiyone made sure they'd regret it. That said, it was getting harder and harder to see. If the fog was bad down there, it was even worse from up ahead looking down. Worse: Kiyone no longer even knew if her shots were connecting or not. How was one supposed to gather accuracy data under these conditions!?

Suddenly, Kiyone noticed a bright color peek through the smoke. Gazing down the sight, she tried to make out who it was through the haze. Pinky? Sure looked pink. But then the girl raised her rifle and fired at her allies? Had they moved? Was there a helmet behind them that Kiyone wasn't seeing? Or maybe Pinky was just that awful.

"I'll just give you a little warning..." Kiyone murmured to herself, aiming the rifle slightly below the brightly-colored hair and sending a shot right where her torso may or may not have been. Once again, it was near impossible to tell if it landed or not. "Stupid smoke..."
