SYNOPSIS THE APOCALYPSE

As the final moments of the year slipped away, the heavens above lit up with an otherworldly blaze - a single meteorite hurtling through the northern hemisphere's skies. At first, it was a mere curiosity, a sight to behold for those who caught its fleeting glow. But what appeared to be a mere cosmic phenomenon became a harbinger of doom when the meteorite crashed into a bustling metropolis, as the extraterrestrial artifact claimed the lives of millions and left a trail of destruction in its wake. The aftermath of this cataclysmic event revealed the horrifying truth: the object was not a mere space rock but an otherworldly artifact infused with the enigmatic technology of the cosmos.

The horror deepened as the diamond-shaped meteorite unleashed a thick miasma, transforming the surviving populace into grotesque abominations with a hunger for flesh. Some became mindless undead, while others evolved into cunning monsters capable of devastating destruction. With the world facing an unprecedented global threat, nations banded together to create the Armored Response Coalition, a paramilitary force dedicated to eradicating the monstrous menace.

Through eight blood-soaked operations, the Coalition dismantled eight hives formed around the meteorite. Now, the final, most crucial operation is at hand, as the Coalition rallies for a final push against the core architect of the apocalypse. This mission is much more than a fight for an end to the crisis - it is a tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of those who fought before, and a chance to reclaim a future that was almost lost.

As the courageous soldiers storm the enemy's last stronghold, they are met with a harrowing truth - the cataclysmic calamity that befell their world was the fruit of their forefathers' malevolence, and the ravages of conflict showed no signs of subsiding, signaling that victory was still a distant dream. Amidst the dark depths of the abyss lies a world connected by a network of tunnels and vast caverns, where the unending conflict rages on in the very place where it first began, destined to culminate in the same hollow spaces that birthed it.

ARMORED WARFRAME MECHAS

The Armored Warframes, sophisticated combat machines, were engineered by the unified world for the express purpose of countering the incessant extraterrestrial incursion. Varied iterations of Armored Warframes exist worldwide, including standard tanks equipped with supplementary modifications. However, the most prominent and renowned among them are the bipedal variants utilized in engagements against the formidable hive structures by the Armored Response Coalition.

These formidable mechs are the linchpin of world salvation, for no other armaments can presently withstand the relentless onslaught of demonic adversaries. Furthermore, the Armored Warframes offer great proficiency in achieving objectives with minimal losses, as they require only a single operator to man the machine. Owing to their unprecedented success in eradicating the eight hives, the Armored Warframes undergo constant upgrades and retrofitting, facilitating smoother operations.

PROJECT STRELITZIA SIMULACRUMS

Introducing Project Strelitzia, the esteemed research program exclusively financed by the Armored Response Coalition. Its primary aim was to scrutinize the very essence of a certain individual's unique ability and subsequently transcribe them into an artificial DNA. Such a momentous triumph would enable the participating scientists to seamlessly integrate the synthesized DNA into artificially constructed life forms, ultimately generating unparalleled super-soldiers. These extraordinary beings would exhibit exceptional piloting proficiency, enabling them to maneuver the Armored Warframes with unmatched skill and precision.

Crafted with the sole intention of assuming control of the Armored Warframes, these artificial entities exhibit a plethora of exceptional abilities that far surpass the capabilities of their human counterparts. Although their existence is restricted to a fleeting five-year time span, their exceptional proficiencies elevate them to the status of battlefield legends. Of these abilities, their matchless aptitude for premonition is perhaps the most prominent. This unique talent is derived from the neural structure of the Strelitzias, wherein the memories of four fallen operators are housed. The absorption of these memories provides the Strelitzias with an ability to anticipate peril with a staggering degree of 99% accuracy. The transference of specific attack patterns from their antecedents, in the form of after-images, is projected into the present, offering the Strelitzias a distinct advantage in combat. Indeed, these unparalleled beings are a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Armored Response Coalition to achieve nothing but the pinnacle of excellence on the battlefield.

It is crucial to acknowledge that the Strelitzias were not designed for conventional infantry combat, for their physical prowess only mildly exceeds that of a regular human. Nevertheless, their perseverance and durability are prodigious, as their heart has the ability to rapidly replenish their stamina. Such physical advantages allow the Strelitzias to persist in running for extended periods without succumbing to fatigue, and enable them to remain active for weeks without repose.

GM NOTES READ BEFORE CONTINUING

Project Strelitzia will comprise five chapters, out of which the initial three are comparatively brief, while the latter two will be segmented into multiple parts. For reasons nonexistent other than to appeal to my aesthetics, the chapters will be called revelations.

Participants are granted the privilege of configuring their personalized mechs, as well as selecting their role on the battlefield. Although creative freedom is allowed, it should be noted that specific equipment and attachments are prohibited, including antimatter chambers and plasma shields, since such devices exceed the technological framework of the roleplay's world. The level of technology employed throughout this scenario is limited to standard ballistics, encompassing railguns and firearms employing bullets, as opposed to laser-based weaponry and other non-ballistic armaments.

All participants in this roleplay will be required to assume the role of one of the four Strelitzias that were crafted by the Armored Response Coalition. As the facilitator of the game, I will take on the role of the commander during the final operation, which will feature a normal human. Additional information concerning the background and history of the Gestalts (humans), Strelitzias, and Ascendants will be provided at a later time, contingent on the level of interest expressed in this roleplay.

ROLEPLAY GUIDELINE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

In accordance with the rules of RpNation, I possess the authority to reject any characters that fail to meet the set standards. It is imperative to note that I am seeking only four players for this particular roleplay, and the slots will not be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, but rather through my personal discernment.

Reading is the vital element of this roleplay - a fact that should be a given, but is sometimes overlooked by a few individuals who choose to skim through extensive texts, despite its importance being self-evident. Such actions will not be tolerated and are often made obvious during the character creation phase. It is incumbent upon you to thoroughly read the interest check and lore prior to expressing your interest in this roleplay.

There are no particular rules when creating a character. Imposing limitations on an individual's creativity does not appeal to me, and I would rather grant them unrestricted authority over their character's traits, values, persona, aptitudes, and limitations. While various essential attributes contribute to the development of an engaging character, the sole directive I impart is to ensure adherence to the RpNation's rules to evade any potential issues.

Out-of-character conversations will be held on Discord on a private server. Invitations will be sent to those who are accepted.
