- When Gemholders are "rescued" by The Précieux Order and sent off to the academy, it's very rare that they see their families again until after they graduate from school.
- Only 4% of the students that graduate from Préxieux Academy go on to join the Order. The other 96% try to lead normal lives (under the protection of the Order, of course). Most go to college, have children, and lead fairly normal lives. Only 2% of those Gemholders are ever captured by Igneous Incorporated.
- Students going to Précieux Academy are forbidden to go back home during their summer vacation. Instead, they are sent off to a Précieux Base of their choice (Fiji, Hawaii, Japan...) and spend the summer sightseeing in the care of someone from the Order.
- Contact between students and their parents is not forbidden, but it is strictly against the rules to mention anything about the academy, the Order, Gemholders, etc. It's the same with letters, as they could be intercepted by Igneous Inc.

A lot of the things you'll find on the bulletin board are sorts of sign up sheets. To have your character sign up for any one of these, just use post your character's name and what they're signing up for! That's it
