Okay, since it's just us five there's no real accepted/not accepted state for any of these CSs, but it'll be nice to have all of them up for reference and so that we can tweak them to suit the roleplay as it progresses! So.....


Character Creation Station!


For the sake of simplicity there's a CS template coding listed below, feel free to use it (as it's pre-coded for you) or not as you see fit, but be sure that you get all of the information down on your CS! That way we all have the same information to work with with our characters!

If anything is unclear just ask, or check the completed and accepted character sheets for reference, but there should be a brief description under each section to let you know what to put in each section! But don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions! It was colour coded but the site isn't letting me keep that so...


In the '• Relations •' please add in any notable relations your character has both within their own group and the other two (if applicable). This is more for your own reference but can also be helpful for others! It's encouraged but not required for you to fill this section out in first person, as if your character was talking~ This section will probably grow as the roleplay goes on and you add in new characters or your characters opinions on others change! (it's totally fine to leave it blank if your character doesn't know anyone else or doesn't have notable feelings for others in their group~)

  X-ray vision - he cannot turn this off, so yes, everyone is a walking skeleton to him and he sees the world in greys and whites and blacks. This has the amusing side effect of him occasionally walking into things that don't have metal in them because he doesn't see them as well as he does everything else.
  
  
  Black Thumb - Everything he touches rots and decays. Plants, people, cars, you name it. Skin starts to die and fester like a brown recluse bite, plants wilt and wither under his touch, metal rusts and plaster starts to crack and crumble. A death touch. This occurs specifically with his hands (his clothes do not seem to rot off of him when he wears them, after all), and is contained only to the bottom half/the pads of his fingers and his palms. It is unknown if he could channel this power to another part of his body. He has not fully learned to control it and as such wears magically reinforced leather gloves at all times - a gift from his father.
  
  
  Emotional Distortion (Fear based) - he can raise panic in others with his stare, much like how certain snakes can 'hypnotise' their prey by staring into their eyes and fixing them in place with fear. This, however, takes quite a bit of energy out of him and isn't something he often uses. That being said he constantly lets off a pheremone that raises peoples cortisol and endocrine levels (stress and fear hormones) so he's kinda permanently off-putting unless you've been around him long enough for your body to no longer react.
  
  
  Umbrakinesis/Sciakinesis - the ability to mentally generate and manipulate darkness, deactivated photons mostly in the absence of light. This basically translates to:

  - Really, really good night vision (but again in x-ray so, not as helpful as it sounds)
  
  
  Necromancy - the mental or physical ability to control the bodies and spirits of the dead. In Wesleys' case this translates to:
  
  
  ...not much. He cannot summon the dead like Nico can or control them in the same capacity, but he can get them to leave him alone (and, with more difficulty, can occasionally convince them to leave others alone for a short while).

  His swords have no special transformation abilities. He wears them across his back so most mortals think he's wearing a weirdly bulky backpack thanks to the mist.

  Wesley is never without his gloves. He also has a small (fits on his palm) horse made of bones that is animated and runs around but is otherwise entirely useless. It's a gift from his father and he keeps it for sentimental reasons.

  • Personality •
  
  
  Wesley can hold onto a grudge to the grave - and probably beyond. He never forgets any slight, real or imagined, and while he won't necessarily act on it immediately you can be assured that he will act on it, some day. Revenge is, supposedly, a dish best served cold and he doesn't mind waiting until it's iced over before finally dishing it out. He's willing to wait until the perfect moment because something half cooked just isn't satisfying when it comes to getting even, so plotting is more than worth his while.
  
  
  While he has anger issues, Wesley is very quiet in the way that he handles it. As he would say "hot anger is dangerous, hot anger can control you. I keep my anger cold, that way I can control it, and use it to my advantage." He keeps his rage tightly wound inside of him, and fuels his actions with it, rather than letting it take hold of him. He's often seen as being very tight lipped and quietly seething when he's angry, rather than blowing up or getting loud about it. He's a fairly quiet person who rarely looses his calm (if ever). He prefers to sit things out and decide when he should step in - how it would be most beneficial to him. He rarely picks a side until he's completely sure it's the one he wants to be on, and often won't make a move until absolutely necessary. Wesley sees it as wiser to wait something out then to jump in right at the start and end up choosing the loosing side. Because he stays so calm all the time he very rarely allows personal feelings or emotions to sway his decisions, and even when he does he prefers to go with what he, personally, wants most rather than what those around him would prefer he chooses.
  
  
  That being said, there are a few things that can drive Wesley to immediate action. Wesley is very much like his father in that he attaches upon sight to certain people - love takes him hard and it takes him thoroughly and he can be as bad at handling it as his sire. He often becomes very possessive and protective of people he's attached to (whether they're attached to him is besides the point) and can be quite possessive of them and his time with them (not always a healthy trait). If anyone were to step between him and the object of his affection the results are likely to be disastrous - and rather bloody. People touching his loved ones without permission are likely to find themselves lacking fingers with which to do so in the near future. People attempting to steal the attention of the one he's interested in have a good chance of meeting a far worse fate.
  
  
  That being said, he tends to be much softer around the person he's with, no matter how harshly he treats those who come near them, and can be quite affectionate with his loved ones. He's exceptionally careful with the way that he handles them, given how disastrous his touch can be, and is hyperaware of where his hands are at any given time. While he craves touch he often avoids it for fear of hurting people, and he certainly would never dream of going near someone he cared for with his gloves off. Additionally, Wesley was born in the deep south and was raised with some much older values more typical of the 'classic' southern gentlemen found in books like Gone With the Wind (though thankfully his vision impairments have helped to stave off the inherent racism of the region) - he's not likely to instigate any physical contact until he's been with someone for quite some time, and even then he can be quite slow moving when it comes to intimacy. He's very attached to those he latches on to and his values and loyalties tend to line up directly with theirs - or, more accurately, with them. They say to do something or not to and he'll follow their instruction to the letter more often than not out of a desire to please them. He's also likely to go out of his way to 'take care' of people who bother or upset them (with or without their knowledge - again, not the healthiest of traits).
  
  
  He enjoys unsettling people, and can often come off as very dangerous, threatening in the way a sleeping panther might seem - sleek and collected on the outside with the power to rend you limb from limb if pushed too far. He enjoys sitting right on the edge of a threat, watching people wonder if he'll do something to them or not. He's dangerous, and he knows it, and he likes others to know it too. If you feel the shadow of death breathing down your back you don't do anything to tip it off- it's easier to have people be aware of the threat he presents then to actually do anything about it. Fear usually does the trick for him.

  This happens to be an existing bit of writing for Wesley himself, and back-story relevant, so enjoy….
  
  
  Quick heads up before jumping into this… some adult themes here, potentially triggering ones. Death is a very present theme in all of Wesley's posts, but exceptionally present in this particular one, and it's not delicately discussed. Moreover, while not directly mentioned there's heavy implication of attempted sexual abuse of a child. Also murder.

  He hadn't meant to, he hadn't - no. No, he had meant to, had wanted to with a desperation he had not though possible before that point, he just didn't think that he could, never thought that

  could be the same thing. He had meant to kill him. He just didn't think he could. And now he found himself here, crushed under a heavy body, gone boneless without the life necessary to keep muscles working, eyes blanked out, glazed over with all the unfinished endings of every story he'd ever tried to tell. The body was thick, corded muscles useless now, awkwardly straddling Wesley's much smaller form, pants sagged below his knees, twisting up his ankles, still erect but no longer able to anything about it. Big and awkward and thick and heavy and dead. So very, very dead.
  
  
  Wesley, for his part, found himself cold and shaking on the cracked linoleum, his hands trembling as he pulled them back, forcing his grip to relax and let go of the man's throat. He hadn't even squeezed long, didn't think he'd even done it particularly hard, it had mostly been an attempt to get him off off off of him, and then he had been… gone. Without a struggle, without much thrashing, as if some greater force had ripped the life from him - and maybe it had. Wesley, unlike some other demigods, had no doubt about who his father was. It made life more dangerous, his scent stronger, but his mother was not one to keep secrets. And so he had to wonder if it was his true father who had struck down this mess of a man who had pinned him down and tried to take him. If it was his father… or perhaps some strange and terrifying power that came from sharing the blood of the Lord of the Dead.
  
  
  Either way it was a quandary for another day, and Wesley worked on wriggling himself free, pushing the body off of him and trying not to grimace as the more unpleasant parts of death were made plain. His trousers were soaked with the mans urine, and there was the distinct stench of fecal matter rising from him - his bowels, clearly, had given out already. It was to be expected, and still it left Wesley aghast, his nose and lip curling up in disgust, his stomach churning at the smell of fresh death around him, the oppressive weight of it pressing down from above.
  
  
  Nobody mentioned this part of death. It's treated romantically, a light going out of the world, the turning of a books final page. Death was always so gently touched in life, a body done up like it was sleeping in an open casket seemed no different than the newly dead unless one finds themselves directly facing the latter. They talk about the way a light goes out of their eyes, how their hands go limp. They don't mention that for a few moments after the body is still warm. They don't tell you that the air left in the body forces it's way out, making the deceased gasp one, two, sometimes even three times as if clawing their way back towards life. They don't tell you how bowels unclench, making the dead cover themselves in their own shit and piss, how they lie like a broken thing, hollow and lost, and how you just know that they're gone - not somewhere, but just plain gone. They don't show that in movies, don't write it in books, but it was before Wesley now, staining his front, and he was quaking for it.
  
  
  Forcing himself back into action he quickly stripped his pants, still covered in the dead man's mess. His shirt, torn open at the chest from where it had been grabbed when he had been taken and forced to the ground, quickly joined it. He ran upstairs to his room, hastily stuffing a duffel with what seemed necessary - he had never run away before, he had no idea what he might need, but a change of clothes and a pocket knife seemed like a good start. He pulled on a fresh shirt and a pair of shorts over himself and shoved a blanket into his bag after a moments thought. There was a moments hesitation over his father's one gift to him, but he found himself unable to part with it, for all the things he could have taken with him… this was the one he needed most, despite the fact that it had no practical use. The tiny bone horse found its way into the pocket on his cargo shorts - it would not break, he had put it through enough abuse during his childhood to know that it was indestructible. Pulling his tennis shoes on he ran back downstairs, throwing whatever was nonperishable in the pantry into his bag and nicking a water bottle. He rifled through his mother's purse and his step-father's wallet, taking what cash he could find and stuffing it into his pockets. No credit cards or checks, but cash could do him some good. He considered his mother's cellphone, then discarded the thought. When she came home and found her husband dead on the floor of the living room cops would be called, they'd find his fingerprints on the bloated neck. He'd be wanted. Cellphones could be tracked, he'd seen that much on television. No phones, then. Nothing else, then, no time to do anything but leave.
  
  
  Without a backward glance he fled out his backdoor, climbing the fence that surrounded their yard and hanging out over the street beyond. He dropped from the fencing and hit the ground running, no idea where he was going but certain that he could not stay here.
  
  
  In the end he found himself in some park one town over. He had slipped onto a bus and had rode it for twelve stops before a group of passengers got on and looked at him in a way that made his skin crawl. He got off the stop after that to find that the day was growing dark. He'd have to find a place to sleep. And that's what led him to the park. Checking around him to be sure that no one was watching, he climbed into the tube slide, settling himself back into the shelter of it's bottom lip. The fact that it was fully covered would protect him from the worst of the wind, and it would be his best hope of shelter if it rained. He pulled his blanket out of his pack and a bag of jerky he had found in the pantry and then punched his duffel into a shape that at least vaguely resembled a pillow. Ripping the bag open he pulled out a piece of jerky and started gnawing down on it. It would be a long night, he felt - the first of many.

  Dinae is played by someone not in this group but still deeply influential in regards to Wesley, Julian, and Niobe so I'm including her here. In Wesley's case he was fairly enraptured by her for a long time and sees her as a literal sun of a person. Mildly-stalkerish infatuation.

  Next to Dinae, Julian is the closest thing Wesley has to a friend - their relationship is an occasionally contentious one, built on competition and a mutual protective attachment to Dinae, what was originally a fairly disagreeable relationship eventually formed into a fairly friendly one (at least in so far as Wesley manages friendship - he's not the most socially graceful person), and at this point Wesley very much considers Julian one of his own.

  Felix is cold and standoffish, he's always full of quick wit and sarcasm. Though beneath that icy exterior is a warm-hearted goofball that all his close ones see in him. He's a protector, he would put his life on the line for those he loves. He's very lazy and nonchalant about quite a few things. Felix is someone who is powerful and quick to anger. He's not really privy to the Gods and most of their children.
  
  He is intelligent and is quick to come up with plans and solutions. He has a twisted side, much like his boyfriend. A side where he wouldn't be above cruelly maiming someone to get a point across, he doesn't do it much cause he doesn't want to face Josh's wrath. Felix is quite a joker and he only cuts up and makes people smile if he can trust them. If one could get close to Felix they would find a loyal and reliable friend.

  Josh is incredibly skilled with herbal remedies and often knows what plants are and what they can do on site without any previous study. Because his father is the God of Medicines he can create concoctions with healing properties with little to no available recourses - and the opposite. Once you know what can cure someone it's easier to reverse engineer a cure to make them worse. He's a naturally talented herbalist, skilled both in making cures and poisons, basically.
  
  
  Reverse healing - Josh can cause pain with a touch. Through skin contact he can make you feel like the area of you he's touching is burning off, though no damage is actually done.
  
  
  Like Vasyl he can tell what's ailing someone and how to fix it, although he hasn’t been at camp as long and therefore isn't as skilled (and isn't, y'know, in med school), not to mention he prefers to use his powers more… offensively.

  Josh is halfway decent with the celestial bronze sword he carries but his true power lies in the herbs pouch he carries clipped on to a belt loop on his right hip.   Josh is a very… bitter person. His mother was abandoned not only by his godly parent, but by his adopted father as well, and because of this he's never really trusted anyone he's met. He can be snappish and harsh to most people and is often very closed off and cold. For being the son of a God of medicine and therefore healing his bedside manner is terrible. He's a very clinical soul and while he'll take care of a patient to the best of his ability he's not someone they should ever turn to for sympathy or comfort.

  A light smile played at the edges of Josh's lips and he nodded at Felix's words, his look softening slightly from it's usual harsh mask as he found himself a seat, settling himself in comfortably as he turned his attention to the copy of Grace. His expression remained impassive as J.R. attempted to babble his way through the conversation, no spark of amusement reached his features as the zipper cut neatly across the boy's throat. The only change in his expression came when Grace mentioned the rebellion still trying to hold a living in Camp Halfblood. His eyes lit then, the cold fires of hatred leaping to life within them, his fingers gripping the arms of the chair he was in until their knuckles bleached white, his lip curling into a twisted, snarling sort of sneer at the idea of taking the remnants of the camp into his own hands.
  
  
  True, his hatred was more reserved for his father then for any of the other campers, but over time it had grown expansive, and he found himself too generous to leave a single camper out of his loathing. The God's had sat idly by while his mother ran herself into the ground attempting to support an unplanned for child, while the constant upheaval of their lives pushed her into a slump of misery that she no longer had the will to dig herself out of. Any who stood by their laughable stand ins for ideals and justice deserved a heavy helping of his hate - and he was more than happy to help dole it out.

He could not help but lend his voice to this cause - there was a reason he was so highly rewarded in title and position come the end of the war. While he might have possessed the hands of a healer and have therefore been left out of the fighting there was not a demigod on the side of the God's who passed through his healing tend unscathed, and the ruthlessness of his measures and pitiless treatment of those who fell into his hands had earned him some grudging respect, while his unwavering dedication had gained him position in this new world. He would not be one to flinch back from the idea of finishing what they had started.

He paused, then, tapping one slender finger to his lips in thought, "No… that would be too good for them, wouldn't it? Perhaps we should tear them apart, piece by piece, one after the other while the rest watch to remind them exactly why they should never have opposed us. Is that close to what you were suggesting?   Karma is a hypocritical bitch. There's really no other way to put it. She's rude, snarky, and tends to screw things up, supposedly on purpose. She's quick to laugh at other people when they mess up, but will be the last to admit when she has screwed up.
  
  
  She's also very secretive. She's curious about other peoples pasts and motives, but will never reveal her own. It's not surprising that she has trouble keeping friends- she even claims she doesn't want any.
  
  
  However, if you get to know Karma, you'll realize that she's terrified of the harm and damage her curse and powers can cause, and is only trying to keep everyone at a distance to prevent hurting them.

  Mansi came from a very rough household. Her Indian Father was actually married at the time of her conception, and when his wife arrived from India only to find that her stranger of a husband had a child out of wedlock, she was furious. The devout woman spent most of the nest 10 years trying to burn and slice the "evil" out of Mansi, seeing signs of possession in everything from her dsylexia and ADD to her affinity with nature.
  
  
  When Mansi ran away and ended up at Camp Half-Blood, she thought her life was finally perfect. She loved the Camp, and everyone in it. But her fortune was not to last.
  
  
  On a minor quest her 3rd year at the camp, Mansi ran afoul of the minor Goddess Fortuna, claiming that she owed none of her current life to "luck" but to her own initiative for running away. Fortuna then cursed the girl with true control over her own luck. Mansi, unable to control this new power, managed to somehow cause the death of both her companions on this quest, as well as the ultimate failure of the quest. She never went back to camp.
  
  
  She now lives alone in the Bronx, stealing from High End stores using her powers and pawning off whatever she can. She's even got a cheesy street name: Karma. People from CHB come by every once in a while, but she refuses to return, afraid of what her powers might cause for the place she loves.

  He's very arrogant about being Zeus' son and tends to refer to himself as the Prince of the Skies. Derek feels that he can beat any monster he faces since facing the hydra. He's EXTREMELY flirtatious, and often gets mistaken for a child of Aphrodite, which he attributes to his 'ruggedly handsome features.' He's a prankster, often shorting out any contraption that a Hephaestus child sends his way, this causing more fights than anyone needs. Derek's not a total jerk. He has a soft side, but it's just hard to reach at times, considering he still beats himself up secretly for the hydra attack on his mom. Derek should have been there. He should have been the one to save his mom, not Nycanor. He's an extremely hard worker and will do something the second that he's asked to. Derek holds a lot of anger toward Hera, and plans on having a few choice words with her if they ever meet again. "She could have killed me! I could have died!" Derek would scream things like this during his first few weeks at Camp, then he finally chilled out a little, realizing what this hatred was doing to his power. Derek holds a lot of anger toward Zeus as well, for not stopping the queen from doing what she did. Derek doesn't see himself as a leader, like his siblings. Sure, he's Zeus' son, but he's still a kid. Why did he have to stand out? Why couldn't he goof off?

  He grew up in Miami, and at one point in his past, at six, Hera, disguised as an old woman, tricked him into going with her into the woods. There, she tossed him off of a cliff, exactly how she did with Hephaestus and then, a griffon caught him before he landed into the river at the base of the cliff. Years later, at eleven, Derek faced a hydra that was disguised as his mother's co-workers at the electric company and was then knocked out after trying to save his mom.
