Inspired by Lost - The survivors find themselves on the same island as Lost, only with.. 'minor' differences.
Flight A-12 was boarded from gate B-24 before it took off from Sydney, Australia to Phuket, Thailand.
It was a rather quiet flight until they were around three hours in. The plane mysteriously found its right engine on fire before an explosion was heard, the tail was blown off, separated from the rest of the plane. A loud, piercing noise was heard as the air was sucked from the plane, sucking some people /in/ their seats along!

Three characters max.
Please think about your character's situation; your characters would at first feel hungry, thirsty.. Shocked and feel lost. As time passes, some would begin to lose hope.
Create roleplay! Yes, create roleplay. You can create roleplay by let's say.. Claiming you have looted something from the available luggage on the beach and someone else needs it, perhaps you'd want it to be traded with something of value. Or, the other person who wanted the said item would.. either steal or take it. The hard way!
Refer to the map if characters were going to venture far away. But always keep in mind that the forest isn't a safe place!
Please, please please when you have to go, have your character go sleep, hunt for resources, take a walk.. Whatever it is. Everyone hates not being able to reply because one person didn't post!

The airport was nearly empty at this time.. The waiting lines were minimum, the gates were quiet and the only noise were the announcements made..
There are around sixty people waiting at gate B-24 if not less.. All of them were different nationalities, races, some half-asleep, some distracted with their own businesses.. The plane was headed to Phuket, Thailand. An island with great tourist attractions; from beaches to nightlife, business to pleasure.
A woman, whom was wearing airline staff outfit walked behind the counter by the entrance to the jet bridge leading to the plane, she looked at her wristwatch before at the monitor, confirming the boarding time before speaking into the microphone:
5:45 A.M. - Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for Oceanic flight 616 to Phuket. We are now inviting those passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. First class, business class and regular class boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you.
With that said, people began boarding the plane, but only the mentioned people for now, a bald man in a wheel chair was one of them, he refused the aid of the staff pushing him within the plane as he insisted on helping himself down the jet bridge, pushing the wheels forward as he pushed his own self, along with other handicap, elderly people and people with children as announced.
The said ten minutes as announced were shortened, the second announcement was said just five minutes after the first:
5:56 A.M. - We are now boarding First class and Business class passengers before economy class, please have your boarding pass and identification ready.
The staff by the gate said once again, accepting and boarding each individual with a welcoming smile. "Have a nice trip." She told nearly everyone after reviewing their boarding passes and identification.
Everyone went to their seats within the plane; which wasn't big, nor small.. a moderate plane. The crew was welcoming, they never stopped smiling to every and each passenger whom entered the plane, helping everyone with finding their seats.
6:04 A.M. - This is the final boarding call for passengers Chuck and Noland booked on Oceanic flight 616 to Phuket, Thailand. Please proceed to gate B-24 immediately. The final checks are being completed and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for Chuck and Noland booked on Oceanic flight 616. Thank you.
Not long after that was announced, only one man managed to get in the plane. He sat down by the isle side while he put a round-shaped object on the window seat. Yes, a reference.
6:09 A.M. - Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Oceanic Flight 616 with service from Sydney to Phuket, Thailand. We are currently Second in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately four minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seat-belts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing Sydney Airlines. Enjoy your flight.
6:12 A.M. - Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the crew I ask that you please direct your attention to the monitors above as we review the emergency procedures. There are six emergency exits on this aircraft. Take a minute to locate the exit closest to you. Note that the nearest exit may be behind you. Count the number of rows to this exit. Should the cabin experience sudden pressure loss, stay calm and listen for instructions from the cabin crew. Oxygen masks will drop down from above your seat. Place the mask over your mouth and nose, like this. Pull the strap to tighten it. If you are traveling with children, make sure that your own mask is on first before helping your children. In the unlikely event of an emergency landing and evacuation, leave your carry-on items behind. Life rafts are located below your seats and emergency lighting will lead you to your closest exit and slide. We ask that you make sure that all carry-on luggage is stowed away safely during the flight. While we wait for take off, please take a moment to review the safety data card in the seat pocket in front of you.
6:14 A.M. - "Crew, prepare for take off."
With that said, a final check on the passengers, confirming that they'd have their windows up, tables latched and seat belts buckled.
The plane's engine gradually became louder and louder before the plane started moving in high speed along the airstrip; the passengers would feel pushed back against their seats as the plane took off. The altitude increasing as time passes, until they were mid-air. The seat-belts signs turned off and the staff began preparing the refreshments.
6:23 A.M. - Good afternoon passengers. This is your captain speaking. First I'd like to welcome everyone on Oceanic Airlines Flight 616. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time is.. 6:24 A.M. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side we are expecting to land in Phuket, Thailand approximately fifteen minutes ahead of schedule as the flight takes around nine hours and a half. The weather in Phuket is clear and sunny, with a high of 28 degrees for this afternoon. If the weather cooperates we should get a great view of the island as we descend. The cabin crew will be coming around in about twenty minutes time to offer you a light snack and beverage, and the inflight movie will begin shortly after that. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight.
Two and a half hours later..
8:53 A.M. “Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has turned on the fasten seat belt sign. We are now crossing a zone of turbulence. Please return your seats and keep your seat belts fastened. Thank you.”
The airplane indeed went into some minor turbulence.. a bump after another before suddenly.. Boom!
A sudden explosion could be heard, the airplane quickly began 'turning' to the right, as the right jet exploded.. Passengers were packing, screaming.. Oxygen masks dropped down, before another explosion could be heard, this time...
The wing separated from the plane itself, the air sucked out mostly the very back passengers, with their seats.. They just, flew out like, screaming with no avail. It lasted seconds, but it felt like hours before the plane crashed into the shore.
Dark, pregnant clouds covered the sun as it made the environment seem as if the sun was dawning while meanwhile screams echoed.. People were rushing here and there, people were screaming for others.. "Heeeeeeeeelp!" A man trapped under a food cart, the one you'd see the attendants pushing back and forth when they offer food.
A man heard that particular scream out of all others; on which he found it a good reason to rush to the poor man's aid.. but he foolishly ran in-front of the humming engine which sucked him.. Literally sucked him into the engine; Ka-booooom!
The engine exploded, causing the entire wing to shatter into small metal flying around, before raining down hell on the people around it. One piece of metal fell right into a man whom found himself on the sand after the explosion. Another man got his right arm amputated, another got a flesh wound.
In conclusion; the explosion had certainly lowered the number of survivors.
A flash and an echoing roar were seen and heard in the sky before it started raining down, showering down the island and the waves certainly began increasing in size.
