In a world ruled by dark magic, something terrible is happening. It is in an alternate timeline from the story you all know and love where Harry Potter had never defeated Voldemort. Instead, Harry was the one that fell that late and tragic night. Hogwarts fell into chaos because of his death, and eventually, the forces of evil defeated the forces of good. To this day, almost 100 years later, he who shall not be named is still at large.

He has solidified his position as minister of magic as well as Headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has run the Magical World and Muggle world for generations, and has done so with an iron fist. Somewhere along the lines of 25 years ago, he put in place a "solution" that he believed would eliminate the Half-Blood breed he so desperately despised.

A competition of sorts to where he would take 26 different Half-Bloods from all over the world, and each year, drop them into a magical arena of his choosing. It was here that he would watch the murder and carnage take place. The contestants would fight in order to be the last one standing, and they did so until one remained. That one remaining survivor, would win a prize. Each year the prize was different.

Sometimes, the prize was worse then the death you were trying to avoid. But regardless, the winner would get something for their efforts in addition to being able to live free of the Segregation and murder that happened everyday. This year, by some circumstance, it was you who was chosen to be in this game among 25 others. A Half-Blood yourself, your job is now to kill every single person that surrounds you.

The gatherer for this competition was none other then Severus Snape himself. He captured you somehow, and now, you are in the fight of your life. What will happen? Will you form alliances with others? Or will you be the first to die. The choice is yours. Fight for your life and may the odds forever be in your favor.

Out of Character Rules

1) Profanity is acceptable, RolePlay at your own risk.

2) Try to keep sexual occurrences out of this RP.

3) No "God-Modding"

4) If another player attempts to kill you, take into consideration how it would play out in real life. You can try to talk them out of it, but they do not have to succumb. If you try to physically stop them, keep body types in mind. In other words, just be realistic.

5) If one of your character's does find a group and attempts to kill them, don't just go on a rampage, keep it realistic.

6) Be fair in your actions.

7) Keep how it would play out in reality in mind.

8) Try not to argue. Bring up any concerns with me through message.

9) Don't completely rip the characters off as your own if you have seen or read the series. Be original with your own characters.

10) Treat each other with respect

11) If you intend to join the role play, be active. If you are unable to come on at least once a week, we will assume you have dropped out and we will go on without you. Maybe even kill you from the surroundings. If you plan on being absent for a while for whatever reason, please drop a message either on the out of character section or message me to let someone know how long you'll be absent.

12) Multiple characters aren't encouraged, but they are acceptable. 2-3 max.

13) Most characters MUST DIE if we have a lot of people. Don't be afraid to be killed. You can always do another character if numbers permit. Just don't be excessive.

14) I will decide who recieves what from the cornucopia. The post will be found in the OOC section of this Roleplay

15)
Follow RPN's rules. This goes without saying, but foul language is more acceptable in character than out of character. If you're not familiar with their rules, please read up on them so that we don't get in trouble.

In Character Rules

1) Have a basic grasp of the English language and use grammar appropriately. While we have no particular literacy requirements, we may not want you around if your replies become short and incoherent. When there are many details to be described, describe them. Don't be the one to make a climax anti-climactic.

2) Do not god mode, power play or anything like that. Remember, there's a difference between being creative and obnoxious. When a character dies or is injured is up to the person who role plays them, please just use common sense in this regards. We will not break the character making process down to a science, but please keep it realistic.

3) This goes along with the above rule, but no Mary-sues or Gary-stus or anything. Give your character some flaws. They shouldn't be perfect in every way and they shouldn't get amazing marks in every single one of their classes or subjects, or if they are make them arrogant about it, or freak out if they get anything less, or something. Just to give a few examples. It'll make them more lovable if they're flawed, I promise.

4) For consistency, stick to third person limited past tense. That's just a preference of mine turned pet peeve, but if anyone really wants to do things differently, then don't be afraid to ask.

5) There's no gender ratio limit or anything, but please don't make more than 2, maybe 3 characters. I think four's pretty generous. If the rp is starting with five people, and we all had five that would be 20 characters, and more people will probably join. I'm sure not everyone will make four, or even more than one, but I still think this needs to be said. I might change this later if we need more characters but not enough people are joining/joined.

(Post a funny, cheesy, or sweet pick up line in the "other" section to show you have read and understand the rules)

The Mudblood games really didn't affect Daniel and his brother Eric growing up. It wasn't until recently that he had heard about them. But, no one from his home town ever got chosen or anything like that, so he let it carelessly slip to the back of his mind. He had forgotten about them...until now. On his 6th year of his Wizardry Schooling as a Gryffindor, the castle was stormed by more death eaters then there usually was about. Normally, the death eaters that were their during classes were just used for disciplinary measures and guarding the school. However, tonight there were many of them, and they were led by the famous Severus Snape. They marched strait through the castle and up to the Gryffindor common room; blowing students and faculty alike to the side as they marched.

Daniel was sitting on the couch reading a book next to his younger brother when they rushed in and took them by surprise. They grabbed a hold of him and, despite his struggling and attempts to reach his wand and help his brother (who they were also taking), they overpowered him and apparated with them to some form of Holding area, much like a Dungeon. He was thrown carelessly inside one of the cells, and the cell was locked with protective and entrapping charms. As for his brother, he was thrown into the cell across from him. His brother hit his head on impact, and now lay helplessly on the ground.

"Eric!" He yelled out through the bars that held him inside the room. "Eric, talk to me! Get up damnit!"

It was no use. Eric was out cold, and there wasn't anything he could do about it. When they originally threw Daniel into his holding area, he also hit hard against the concrete. He was already weak from the apparating, and when he hit the wall, he almost blacked out. Though, he made sure to stay conscious. For his sake, and Eric's. He could hear the door re-open down the hall. He was sure that it was Snape; bringing another Mudblood tribute down to the cells. Maybe even to HIS cell. It was only a matter of time before all the cells down here were filled up and they would be forced to kill each-other for the amusement of HIM. He had to think of a strategy to get him and Eric out of here alive...and he would do anything to make sure that happened.

Opal was sitting in the corner of the Ravenclaw Common Room, writing another tale when a few Death Eaters including Severus Snape barged in. They never came into the common rooms which troubled some children, but Opal was too engrossed in her own work to notice. That is, until they plucked her from her cozy spot, and apparated to what seemed to Opal like a prison. Carelessly she was thrown into a cell with a young boy. They locked the cell and walked up a flight of stairs.

The cell was dark and Opal had fallen on her head. She sat up slowly, clutching it and groaned, looking at the boy. He wasn't moving.

"Are you alright?" she asked, moving toward him. "Hey, boy."

Willow Cunningham had a quiet life, growing up on the countryside of Barnet, England. Living in a large house with her younger brother, Noah, and her parents, she was often shrouded from the Mudblood Games. Though she had heard about them, she had never given it much thought, choosing to let it go, rather than think on death and misery. This continued until her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A quiet evening of plotting pranks in the Slytherin common room, Willow was very surprised when the castle was invaded by Death Eaters. Unlike some Slytherins, her parents were not followers, choosing to remain good and neutral, rather than let themselves be lead by fear. This meant that she was not spared in the raid, taken away with others from the warm castle into the dark night.

In a semiconscious state, Willow recalled her last visions before everything went black. Blurry figures surrounded the room, one filled with screaming and shock, as a multitude of Death Eaters arrived. Through her blurred vision, she was able to make out a rather hooked nose and black, greasy hair, knowing those features belonged to the infamous Severus Snape. She was confused, considering this man's allegiance was never clear to her. After debating for some time, it seemed clear that he was a rotten egg the entire time.

She woke up fully just as she was being led into a holding area, automatically shouting at her assailants and demanding to be released. Unfortunately, it was no use, as they were physically stronger than her and simply continued without a delay. One of them even laughed, causing her anger to boil and making her want to lash out. Before she had the chance, however, they dropped her in the cell and her head hit the ground hard. Willow hissed, staying down for a few more minutes and trying to soothe her now pounding headache. Sitting up very slowly, she raised an eyebrow in seeing two others through bars in the connected cell.

"Do either of you know what the bloody hell is going on?" She asked hastily, trying to gain their attention.
