Marvel Comics: Reinstated

The Doorman

I leave, but i always return.
Okay, so, if you know me, I like organization, so I'll ask that you not put things wherever you feel like, I feel it is a bit... Improper, to put a bio right after the name, but I will be allowing the forms to mostly be formatted as you desire, because that is also how I do forms.

Oh! I would really like to see some normal peeps up in here, it's fun having normal in the mix!

Okay, so, OCs. If you need something explained I will help, but I would like to note that for their comic and title, you can make it up or have them be from a sort of "Rejected Characters" section, or an "Unpublished Comic" if you can't think of something~

Title: Spider-Man

Occupation: Photographer

Appearance: http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Amazing-Spider-Man-2-webslinging.jpg. ------- http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120705122015/marvelmovies/images/b/bc/Peter_Parker_AG_thumb.jpg

Personality: Peter Parker first seems to be immature, but if you take a second look, you can see he's planned everything out and knows exactly what he's doing,

Bio: Peter Parker is a science-whiz orphan living with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. He is bitten by a radioactive spider at a science exhibit and "acquires the agility and proportionate strength of an arachnid". Along with super strength, he gains the ability to adhere to walls and ceilings. Through his native knack for science, he develops a (Shalapedida) gadget that lets him fire adhesive webbing of his own design through small, wrist-mounted barrels. Initially seeking to capitalize on his new abilities, he dons a costume and, as "Spider-Man", becomes a novelty television star. However, "He blithely ignores the chance to stop a fleeing thief, [and] his indifference ironically catches up with him when the same criminal later robs and kills his Uncle Ben." Spider-Man tracks and subdues the killer and learns, in the story's next-to-last caption, "With great power there must also come—great responsibility!"

Title : 'avengers : son of ultron' (REJECTED TITLE)

Occupation : slicer/hero/ranged expert

Comic : 'avengers : son of ultron' (REJECTED)

Except for whatever reason the eyes are viridian.

Personality : (WIP) but it is known he's coldly logical with little empathy , only allying with the heroes on the grounds that he actually does like humans somewhat , as he describes them they are 'entertaining'. He's also literal , rarely using sarcasm except in rare situations. Commonly talks about his various skills , also commonly talks about how he wishes he could have better plating. He can get on the nerves of other avengers being that unlike the vast majority he is weak in close combat , preferring ranged weapons. He commonly does kill people , something that got the comic rejected.

Bio : while it is unknown exactly how old he really is , it is known he was originally intended to be the base prototype for an army of ultron clones. He promptly destroyed the entire facility in one of the only mass fits of violence he's commited. He was an assassin-for-hire for around 10+ years before joining the avengers because... No one really knows. He most commonly works with the punisher as they have similar methods , although M-T3 may be more subtle with his breaking in. He also commonly works with drax for larger , galaxy-wide operations. He is one of the more reclusive avengers , rarely talked of by the 'main team' of captain America , iron man , and the others. He mostly works alone lately , seeking more... Ruthless... Methods of crime stopping. It's not really known currently what he is doing or where he is , but a small group of more outlying avengers have been looking with little success.

Personality: Bruna sarcastic and seemingly very self-assured. Bruna is a genius and more of a brawler. She is smarter than the average adult, but is not shy or well mannered. Bruna has a quick temper, but tries to stay calm. Luckily, she has control on her Hulk powers and her personality manifests in the Hulk state. Making her change more easily.

Bio:

Robert Bruce Banner was the son of an alcoholic who deeply hated him. Banner's mother showed much affection for her child, who returned her love, but this only served to fuel his father's rage. Dr. Brian Banner was an atomic physicist who worked on producing clean nuclear power as an energy source, but he was afraid his exposure to it mutated his son's genes. Bruce showed signs of high intelligence at an early age which strengthened his father's belief. Brian became abusive to Bruce and when his mother intervened, Brian murdered her. He frightened Bruce to keep quiet, but his own bragging landed him in a psychiatric institute.

As a child Bruce was withdrawn, possibly developing a split personality to help deal with his pain and rage. His only happiness came from spending time with his cousin Jennifer Walters. Bruce found it hard to develop friendships and often found himself on the receiving end of physical abuse at the hands of school bullies. One such incident sparked him to build and plant a bomb in the basement of his school. The bomb was a dud, and Bruce was expelled, but the military took notice of his genius. Eventually, Bruce earned a doctorate in nuclear physics and started a career with them.

Supervising the trial of an experimental gamma bomb that he designed for the U.S. Defense Department at a nuclear research facility in New Mexico, Bruce selflessly rushed to the rescue of an ignorant teenager who had wandered onto the testing field as the countdown ticked inexorably toward zero. After shoving young Rick Jones to safety in a nearby ditch, Bruce was struck full-force by the bomb blast. He survived, but was irradiated by the deadly gamma energy.

At first, Banner would transform into the brutish gray Hulk only at sunset, and revert to human form at dawn. Eventually, his changes into the childlike green Hulk came to be triggered by the release of adrenaline when he was intensely excited, no matter what time of day. The green Hulk possesses little of Banner's memory and intelligence, and is easily enraged; making him a menace to society.

Since Banner's initial transformation into the Hulk, military forces commanded by the implacable General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross – Bruce's one-time benefactor – have hunted him continually. Hulk continued to make more enemies within the military such as Major Glenn Talbot as he and Bruce constantly competed for the affections of Ross' daughter, Betty.

For a short time, Banner successfully treated his condition with radiation and was able to maintain enough of his own personality when he became the Hulk to control himself in that form. Subsequently, he earned the government's favor by destroying the alien Metal Master and received a presidential pardon.

Mm, Bruna is awesome, but le just awoken me is a little worried about what Spectacles was sayin' before about remembering her previous life. I may have overlooked it but remembering isn't really my intention, in fact, not knowing what is going on and not knowing really anything upon arrival are two parts of my intended storyline, the RP is about trying to find out why they are in New York and to find out that they aren't in their own universe. So, I was... Kinda wanting to start in the Marvel Universe and then have everyone thrown into our world at random in front of Marvel headquarters and go from there. I apologize if this wasn't made clear ( ^_^ ")

Aedus Bás

Age: 74, 24 in regular human years.

Gender: Male

Occupation:

Wanderer/Mercenary/Villain(or hero) for hire

Comic: The Incredible Hercules(Scrapped major antagonist)

Appearance:

Proto_lancer.png

Abilities

Divine Blood

Aedus is the son of Lugh, a war god who continued to exist in the world after the time of his pantheon in order to sire a heir, and a mortal woman. As such he is half god, giving him incredible physical capacities much like Hercules. Aedus is much more powerful than a regular human, with his physical capabilities rivaling that of Hercules himself, who could lift several tons without breaking a sweat. Aedus however, is not as physically strong in terms of lifting strength compared to other demigods, but he has no match in agility and speed. Aedus's can easily outrun speeding automobiles and dodge bullets from medium distances. Aedus can perform complex acrobatic maneuvers easily through a combination of enhanced senses and sharpened reflexes. Aedus's endurance is also superb as his father and many heroes of the Ulster had also been renowned for their ability to press on through injury and wear in battle. Aedus can battle on continuously for a dozen hours before wearing himself out, and he can strain through even lethal injuries to keep on fighting. Aedus's ability to endure and continue on under pressure basically forces enemies to completely kill Aedus to force him into defeat. As the son of a war god, Aedus is extremely potent in many facets of combat and can assess the dangers and risks of weapons and enemies with divine instinct. The war god nature of his blood also grants Aedus a belligerent nature which causes Aedus to act like a beast in both movement and manner during battles, though he retains his higher mental faculties.

Gae Bolg
GaeBolgEXTRA01.png
A spear of sinister beauty forged and crafted from the spine of the Choinchenn, a powerful sea monster that fell in fierce combat with another of its kin. The spear itself does not seem to have much strength to it. It is as if it were made of bone, being extremely light and brittle. However, the spear is under the effect of a potent curse granted from a magician with skill equalling that of Morgan Le Fay. The curse turns the bone white color of the spear onto a crimson red and gives it a metallic texture and luster. Additionally, the curse causes the spear to become incredibly durable, rivaling adamantium in strength. It also has the ability to regenerate damage done to itself by drawing in the blood of those it slays. The spear is two meters long. The curse upon the spear can also manifest itself as a trump card ability. When the name of the spear is chanted, the curse is unleashed, showering the spear in swirling red energy. The torrent of energy circles at an extremely fast rate capable if pulverizing rock, making the spear into a drill like weapon. The tornado torrent like energy at the spearhead also continuously grows as it absorbs matter from its surroundings. Eight extra spear heads will also emerge along the end of the spear. When the spear is hurled at an enemy, it will continue to chase down the targeted enemy and accelerate continuously until it reaches the target. The spear will take the shortest route towards the enemy, and will make sharp turns and even move backwards if needs be. The only way to stop the spear is to block it with a powerful shield or defensive armament. If the spear pierces an enemy, the eight extra barbs will shoot out and skewer the enemy from the inside. The spear follows only the target that Aedus set his sights on, and cannot change targets until the spear is stopped or strikes an enemy. The natural counters to this would be enemies that can survive the internal skewering through revival, healing or regeneration or those with powerful shields or illusions. The spear is kept compartmentalized within Aedus's soul and can be materialized or dissipated at his will. The spear also massively heightens blood lust and increases physical capabilities at the cost of a considerable amount of sanity, making this spear an extreme last resort weapon.

Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe

9mGkUbc.png
Gae Dearg(Top) and Gae Buidhe(Bottom)

Gae dearg is a crimson red spear around two meters in length. It is a simple wooden spear granted metallic texture and strength through the blessing of a deity. Gae Buidhe's composition is the same as Gae Dearg's, but it instead has a bright yellow color and is a small bit lengthier than half the length of Gae Dearg. Both spears are as strong as diamond in terms of hardness and are exceptionally durable. As they are actually made of wood, both spears are also incredibly light and weigh almost nothing to the great strength of Aedus. The spears can also be called back to Aedus once they are thrown at the same speed that they were thrown at. The two defining traits for the spears lie in their unique and potent abilities. Gae dearg's spear head is infused with a powerful concept of "disruption" that is most potent against magic and sorcery. Foes like the Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange will have a hard time facing this spear as all their magical constructions will immediately be hampered and broken down upon contact with the spear. The disruption of the spear also works on technology to a certain extent, but its ability is not as potent on technology. It cannot completely shut down a piece of technology, but it can cause its systems to fall into chaos for a few seconds after being in contact with the spear. Only the spear head has this powerful disrupting power and the other parts of it are harmless.

Gae Buidhe places a powerful curse upon anything damages or cuts, making it so that the wounds cannot heal as long as Gae Buidhe remains in usage. A sorcerer or magician of high level such as Doctor Strange is needed to over ride the curse, and the curse itself halts any form of restoration whether it be natural healing or regeneration. A sinister purple aura clouds over any wounds or damage the spear inflicts, making it obvious as to where the spear struck. Even bruises or bludgeoning damage cannot be healed when inflicted by Gae Buidhe. If the spear's main body is considerably damaged, then any curses it has inflicted will be removed and their energies will instead be used to restore the damage done to the Gae Buidhe instead. The curses also disappear when Aedus sheathes the two spears in dark purple cloth that seals their abilities and allows them to be carried around easily.

These two spears are the ones that Aedus uses most of the time. They are normally covered in purple cloth that seals their cursing strengths, and at the same time this cloth can attach itself to surfaces with incredible adhesion, allowing both spears to be carried around comfortably in a criss-cross pattern on Aedus's back.

Personality:

Aedus is normally very causal and laid back, content to observe things around him rather than actively doing anything. He is rarely surprised by anything, and takes everything around him in stride. This also causes Aedus to be exceptionally calm to an almost supernatural level, as his casual nature allows him to remain calm under even the most surprising and extreme situations. Aedus is confident, but not arrogant, emitting the simple pride of a warrior with great dignity. Aedus has a sharp mind and can quickly notice small disturbances in both his environment and people, allowing him to read body language and slight facial expression shifts to deduce a person's character. Aedus also possesses a fierce will and has strong emotions that can flare up over his normally casual demeanor. When something upsets Aedus, he is not hesitant to confront the problem. Aedus also upholds a warrior's code of honor that drastically contrasts with his status as a villain. This code of honor strongly influences Aedus, and as such he has no mercy for cowards and shows great respect to the brave. However, what sets Aedus as a definite villian is his love for carnage and violence. Aedus hungers for blood and destruction, and he is happiest in the midst of a raging battlefield where he can slaughter to his hearts content. As such he has found himself clashing with the forces of good such as the Avengers, but mainly the God Squad. Aedus himself does not care which side he is on, only that he finds himself with a foe to fight: which leads him to mostly be a villain, but he is just as fine being a hero if needs be.

Bio:

Aedus was born to Lugh, a war god, and a mortal woman whom he does not know as she died during childbirth. He was born in an underground temple that had once been dedicated to Lugh, and from there Lugh primed Aedus to become his suitable heir as successor the ideals of battle and war of Irish myth. Lugh himself had not much time to stay on the plane of earth as his pantheon had already died, and as such he was extremely weak but still capable of teaching Aedus. In that underground temple, Aedus trained day and night under the marvelous tutelage of Lugh, and honed his skills to a point where even the gods would respect him. He was not solely trained for combat though, and learned the arts and greater educations from Lugh who was experienced in all of these fields. Aedus appeared to be the perfect student in terms of talent and ability, but Lugh could see that he lacked a core value of morality. Aedus hungered for blood and battle, and Lugh knew that to set Aedus free into the world was to invite a force of destruction to be wielded by villainous forces. However, Lugh had no choice as his time was ending and thus he continued on with Aedus as his heir. Lugh instead placed a necklace around Aedus that would seal off his bloodlust as long as it was worn. When Aedus was sixty three, he received three great spears of legend upon completing his training and education under Lugh and was instructed to become a force that protected humanity. Lugh departed and joined his pantheon in the other dimension, leaving Aedus to continue on Lugh's will.

Aedus made his name known widely by participating in resistance movements against despots and fighting against oppressors in general. The God Squad, a team of superheroes led by Hercules, eventually inducted Aedus into their ranks. For a time after that Aedus fought for good, aiding the mutants and Avengers in fights against evil. However, this peaceful side of Aedus was shattered when his sealing necklace was torn off during a mission with the God Squad. This led him to go on a rampage as he unleashed sixty plus years of bottled up blood lust against both friend and foe. He was eventually subdued when he dueled Hercules and both fighters beat each other into unconsciousness. Aedus was then held in prison by SHIELD and was used as a live experiment for research on divine beings like Thor. After several months of this, Aedus broke out, almost destroying SHIELD headquarters before being forced to escape when the Avengers intervened. Since that time Aedus has done whatever he has pleased to satisfy his battle hunger, often being employed by villains to clash against superheroes. Several times he has fought for superhero teams as well, but never has he ever settled in and sworn allegiance to one side or the other.

Aedus eventually met his alleged "death" when he clashed with Gor the Butcher and Shalapedaida to save Thor, and was struck into a spacial distortion half dead. When Aedus woke up, he found himself upon Earth again, but in remarkably different circumstances.

Sorry to break the character section a bit... But is a massive amount of text under the Character profile necessary?

I'm thinking of keeping the winter soldier the same as he is in movie... Is it okay if I just put a link to the wiki or something?

Also, if I can, I'm thinking of another character... A Marvel fanboy...

Aight! :D

Name: Dante Gravefang

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Occupation: Owner of a coffee shop

Appearance:
images

Powers/Abilities: Dante is a darkness manipulator. He is much like a wizard but only uses the darkness as his weapon. He is able to mold dark energy with his mind, making weapons, or even furniture. He can also just make laser beams if he wants to, things like that, you catching ma drift right dawg? It is solid and is one of the hardest materials on Earth. Or he can even use the shadows to hide in them and move quickly and efficiently.

Personality: Bipolar Dante is either insane. Literally. He will attack anyone who gets in his way and will shove them around. He isnt afraid of showing off his powers and he will usually do something bad with it. He is one of the smartest people alive. Or he is a gentle and friendly kind of guy who just wants coffee.

Bio: Dante lost all of his memory when he was struck with his powers. He just remembered waking up and blaming everybody for his headaches. He had really bad headaches and whenever one struck, he would blame it on someone nearby him for putting a curse on him, he would end up torturing them for what they did to him. He always managed to run from the cops by hiding in the shadows and no one could ever get a clear view of his face because he tortured them to the point of slight insanity. He would almost never kill, almost. He killed people when no one could hear his victims screams for hours. He is truly evil. When he isn't like that though, he spends most of his time at his coffee shop reading books and eating cookies and drinking coffee greeting everyone as they come in.

Too evil?
