Fantasy Kal'ae Tribe: Home of the Dragons

The sun was high up in the sky,its shini rays flowing like wind, making the land once more bright from the Night it was,as the Morning came to the Clan resting side of a Mountain, the sky was clear from any clouds as it was thus Blue as the sea,as the clan was a peace and aswell in rest.Inside the hall was a Woman, she stood infront of a Table writing down stuff on papers and working hard, she was Busy going here and there, geting the quil with ink and writting down,Geting even more papers and scrolls and cheking them out....Buuut we are here for the Dragons right.

Down the Mountain,s River near a Lake was a large Dragon,Dark red scales and Masive spines on its back, its Caber like Theeth coming from his mouth and Pointing up,He was with the rest of the New Hatchlings, each being 1 to 4 years old,his duty is to Train them and today was a small Traning...or for them would be some game...but was traning,he stand as he look down at them and would say "Alright Little ones...Today we are gona have a competition,simple...easy competition,"he said as beside him there was ome kinde of cage, inside there was a Atelop Looking creature but its fur was slightly green,Near the water was a large Catfish looking...fish?,and aswell beside him was a cage with a Small bird.he look at the hatchling,s and explain "The competition is simple....you all need to compeat to try and capture thieas 3 creature....the one to capture more and Bring them here wins....Others could steal it from you as you carrie it...You would have to compeat on land, air and water...any questions?"He ask as he was aware one of the Dragons cant fly,so she would not compeat in Flying.

A small, purple egg was rocking in the hatchery, vibrating softly. The shell of the egg began to crack, and a small, purple snout poked out. It stayed there for a few seconds, then a head appeared from the egg. The little dragon's eyes blinked, squinting, almost closing his eyes. The Dragon let out a little chirp, and soon the egg was behind a new born dragon. His name was Orion, he stood at 5 inches tall and 7 inches long. The little dragon spread it's wings a little, the wings to weak to fly. Baby orion stumbled forward, constantly squinting at this strange place. He let out little chirps, chirps that a newborn dragon would make.

Xalath looks in the general direction of the Chief with a disinterested look on his face. He realized that training was imperative for him, as a Neki'rone, and that his rider depended on him to know what he was doing. Xalath does not want to disappoint his partner, under any circumstances, so he's been pushing himself to pay attention during Chief's little lectures... But today was a beautiful day, so all he is really thinking about is him and Kai, his rider, going out for their daily flight. At the word 'competition', Xalath lifts his head up slightly from his spot on the edge of the lake.

"... Competition huh... Easy enough..." Xalath mumbles to himself, immediately his eyes train themselves on the bird. "... I should be able to get to the bird first...", after deciding on his target, Xalath turns his head towards the rest of his brood-mates. Contemplating silently which ones should give him the most trouble.

Orochi began contemplating the fairness of this challenge, didn't it give an advantage to the large ones as they would be able to fly faster than the smaller ones so wouldn't he be at a disadvantage, not to mention most would be able to use some sort of ability in order to steal the birds off one another however is Orochi did that it could cause a death so overall he was in a bad place. He looked towards the chief hoping that his rider would speak up as normal Orochi wouldn't be a person to complain but it seemed that his rider as normal didn't really know what was going on in Orochi mind saying that who does.

"Chief I would prefer to sit this one out. In my mind I believe the bigger of the dragons have an advantage, not to mention them who can use a ability I on the other hand can't unless I risk the death of a friend." Orochi said even if he was the oldest of the bunch he was still the smallest due to what he was.

Gore wasn't much of a threat to the other dragons, he knew that much. The only thing that could help him was his ability to make the area darker so it would be harder for his competitors to find what they are looking for. He sighed lowly and began to think of his rider, who told him to give it his all when she had heard he'd be training today. Her words were very kind and genuine and as a result he was going to do just that. He didn't want to disappoint the girl he has come to care for. Though he knew that these other dragons were most likely to win. He wouldn't really bother trying to fight the others if they found their target before him.

"Alright...at least put some effort into this and maybe Griselda will praise you..." Gore muttered to himself as he stretched his wings, ready for flight. Even though he wasn't the fastest dragon he was still pretty fast considering his body shape.

"Size dosent matter....being large has its Advantages...wille being small has its advantages....And you have a slight point there.....No one will use there Abiliest im sorry...only there Bodies...and being small is good....would a large Dragon be abble to Get pass tight Areas and pass close trees?....and would it be easy to see a small Dragon?...dont worry no one will die here....especially wen im here"He said as he wishes all to participate in this competition...No abilities only there Bodies, nomater what ability it is its out as would be unfiar now he Thinks about it,he look at the other Dragons inspecting them....they seem they were ona make this Interesting. As well...being large was not easy...the small bird would be a chalange for the large Dragons, its small and they are Big and need precision to capture it wille the small ones can easy manuver towards it,size dosent mater...Only what you can do.

he would look at the cage with the Antelope creature as it seem like it was about to run...like wen he flings this gate opne the only thing e expected was it to shoot out...the bird the same thing would Fly out and hide maybe...as for the fish would maybe swim quickly...we will see and this was there First day so interesting things will happen.

Inilth had simply stayed quiet, listening to his elder's words with intent. While doing so, he shifted his body, lowering himself, assuming a pre-pounce position naturally. After the introduction of their little competition was done, he returned to his original stance, letting his feathered wings flutter before fully spreading them, letting his eyes carry over his comrade and temporary opponents. His face shaped itself into a grimace considering he knew he had the edge of a hunter, but he expected the others to have strategies of their own. Overall, he just kept in mind what he could do and attempted to predict what his 'opponents' would bring to the table.

"Good luck to you all..." Inilth then waited for the 'hunt' to begin.

The baby crawled around, stumbling and falling on his face from time to time. He'd squeak out for someone to help him, trying to find anyone at all. He'd sit down and point his snout to the sky, squeaking for help. His wings were folded against his back, and strangely, everything on the inside of his mouth was a neon green, his mouth, his toungue, his teeth, and even his saliva. As the little squeaks got louder by the minute, the tiny newborn had nothing in mind but to find a 'parent'.

"Awwwwww....Look at you! some one is a Little late"said a female voice as it aproche the small Dragon, wearing Black armore, she kneel down seeing the cute little dragon, she would smiel passing her hand on its head seeng such little Dragon she needed to take it to her rider, she clap her hands 3 times and would extend her hands towards the Little one as she would say "Come on now....lets take you to your rider little one"she said smiling as it was adorable!....it was kinda late but still here, she notice its Green iner as well that was Unique, never seen such coloring on a dragon...well from the inside that is.

Okinawa's egg was being eagerly watched by Jason he smiled and his heart speed up when her egg bumped a little she sensed he was there and it motivated her to try and get out of her egg and get to him she struggled in her egg she was a late hatchling but that didn't mean she wasent strong, Jason bounced lightly fiddling with his hands as he watched Okinawa slowly break open a crack in the storm gray shell

Daken wan't exactly interested in what the chief was saying until he heard the word "competition". Although he wasn't in the mood to train at the moment, he never backed down from a challenge or a competition. He knew that swimming against the water dragon, and flying against the other smaller dragons would be the most difficult. However, he thought that he would be more well rounded than the others, giving him the advantage. Then again, he could always just take it from them if he really needed it.

Xalath, seeing a couple of the other dragons getting ready, picks himself silently up off the ground. In preparation for what he has already planned to do, Xalath stretches his wings out to their full span. He's been lying down all morning, so the feeling of his wings stretching out brings a content smile to his face. Withdrawing his wings back into a comfortable, but alert, position Xalath trains his eyes on the cages with the look of a swordsman staring down his opponent. Xalath also stretches out his tail, legs, and finally his feet, lightly raking the ground with his claws.

"If I win, will Kai praise me? I hope she does... I hope she'll praise me even if I lose... If not, then I just have to win.", Xalath, relaxing his body, sighs to clear his head. In front of him a few sparks of azure flame dance, before disappearing.

(Just a quick note, the grey text means he's thinking.)

Okinawa peaked out of the crack and pushed on the shell on all sides hard till the egg came off her. Jason clapped and picked her up and cleaned her off smiling big he looked her over. Okinawa made various speaks, chirps and cheeps as he held her close to his body heat to comfort her she made a small purring sound and looked up to him. Jason pet her head and then looked up he went out and to the elder dragon to tell him the good news. Okinawa looked around at everything as Jason walked holding her up near his chest

The small dragon let out an excited squeak, scuttling up the human's arm. He insantly nuzzled his head under her chin, little claws clutched to her armor. He probably came off as a cuddly dragon, and he was. The newborn gave out various squeaks and nuzzles constantly.

"As it seems no questions....Now We shall Begine!"the large dragon says as he would look at the cage with the antelop, only to place his claw on its door,he pulls up and amidiatly the Antelop shoots out from the Cage and Runs away,it ran right in to the tall Grass making it hard to finde but that was the land,he would look at the small bird and would tap the cage only for to to fall on its side and the Bird escapes, its wings exden....Incretible! The bird for such side had wings 2 times Biger than the Bird,it shoot in to the sky and Flew away high up,soon he would look at the water beside him and would puch the log bloking the cat fish,as he did it would swim away but stay in the surface as he would say "The one that Brings atleast 2 win....and will be rewarded with a meal of the animals you just Hunted GO!"he sais as there reward would be a meal...of theas animals all just for the winner.he would sit there were he is as he would watch as they start.

As he sat there he would Notice a Human...holding a small Dragon,he Tilted his head towards her...Haaaa the new born Finally hatch,he look at them and said "
Seems the little one has Finally hatch...What name have you thus desided for your Wyvern?"The large Dragon ask looking at them.

-----------------------------------------------------

Natasha would gigle as she would Pick up the small Dragon, was preaty heavy, she walk out smiling peting it and chukeling as it nuzzeld,as he would walk out of the hatchery in serch for its rider, she walk around and would see the rider, she smield and whisel and call out "I Think some one Just hatch!"she said smiling holding the small dragon.

Joey looked up from a book, his eyes lighting up. He wanted to say something, but he had no words. Joey just grinned as he walked over to Natasha, and the newborn looked up to him, giving him a little squeak. "Thank you!" Joey breathed, as the poisoncrest fury baby tried to stumble off of Natasha and onto Joey.

The instant Chief shouts "GO!" Xalath takes off from the ground like a bullet upwards. Within a few seconds Xalath is on the same level as the bird, but he is delayed a few seconds to stabilize himself after spreading his wings to stop his rapid accent. During those few precious seconds wasted, the bird was already flying off into the distance. With a small hiss from deep in his throat, Xalath flaps his strong wings and speeds towards the bird, hoping that he doesn't lose sight of it; considering its small stature, if he loses sight of it he probably won't be able to find it again before the others do.

Jason looks up to the cheif and says " I've decided to call her Okinawa ". Okinawa chirped and looked over to the chief she blinked and tilted her head. Jason smiled and pet her gently. Okinawa purred quietly and her tail swished back and forth as she looked back up to her rider her wings shuffled folded on her back

Inilth locked himself onto the antelope, taking off in its direction just as it made its escape. His muscles flexing as he moves. Overall he had been focusing deeply on his senses considering he had to keep an open ear or smell it out if he lost sight, which was likely with such high grass around. Overall, he pushed through, letting his legs carry him after the antelope, trying to find the right moment to strike out.
