Another Sci-Fi GM
This dome that surrounds us is the most ironic creation I can imagine. It's purpose may be to allow us to survive, but surviving is not the same as living. Now accepting my fate I can come to the conclusion that I will never have the chance to live -- perhaps no one ever will have that chance again. No one deserves what I'm walking into, but at the same time no one deserves this life. It's cruel to be held inside these walls, this artificial slice of habitable land. I've heard stories of the past when there were no limits to where one could travel, where one could be, where one could live.
On either side of me I pass at least ten people for every meter I walk; each face filled with a mix of anticipation...and horror. The walls of the dome creep closer to me and the dust which draws from the feet of the spectators writhes up to my ankles. Even my escorts are showing signs of unsteadiness. The one on my right has pale skin and sweat beginning to devise beads on his forehead while the escort's left hand couldn't keep his hand from trembling on my arm. They know what they're doing is wrong.
The door, and a man standing next to it. As he opens the door I finally feel the hairs on my arms become erect and my spine stiffen. Inside the wall is a sealed room, and I'm alone. These are the last moments of my life. Nothing is left for me... however nothing was ever there for me either. I can hear the door opening and the light from the world outside the dome enters the room.
In this world, humans stay alive inside a life-supporting artificial atmosphere. This structure is the only thing protecting them from the dangers outside. Inside a community of deprived people try and make an excuse to keep surviving in the fogs of the largest insult to humanity ever created, the dome.
You will play the role of one of these people and you will not live, you will survive.

This RP will have a strong political focus and strong social interactions. Expect this to be a mature RP which I only expect serious RPers to participate in. If and when I post the actual RP I will provide much more in-depth information about how society works, how jobs work, and what the purpose of your characters will be.
