Eden had a normal childhood growing up. Her mother and father were happily married for many years before deciding to divorce when Eden was 10 years of age. During the next year it was a divorce war between her parents deciding how to split their material possessions and who was to have custody of Eden. Eventually Eden's father was the one to gain custody after her mother could no longer take the stress of the divorce and being a single parent.
Through this messy divorce it was decided that Eden was to be given a family heirloom. It was a simple crystal ball that didn't seem it was worth much. It had been in her father's family for so long they didn't even know which ancestor had originally obtained it.
When Eden was 12 she was given her own personal computer from her father and a smartphone from her mother. This started a new argument between her parents which led to them refusing to speak to each other ever again. At the age of 13 Eden's mother remarried and gave birth to Eden's half-sister - Kelly - a year later.
Eden wasn't bothered by having a half-sister until her mother began to compare them to each other as Kelly grew older. These comparisons - though not done out of ill will - caused Eden to become more introverted. Eden didn't come to ever stop caring for her younger sister - who loved Eden - but rather made her avoid spending time with her mother.
Eden was 15 at the time that she began to have a strained relationship with her mother and became more engrossed with the internet. She had started learning about this world that allowed her the freedom of being herself and began to enter in to the hacker community. The hackers were especially friendly but she eventually was accepted when she hacked into a large corporation's server, took files that showed it was stealing money from their consumers, and released the information on the internet. From that moment on Eden was Null.

Eden stands out in a crowd. Her style, piercings, and tattoos tend to grab the attention of those who aren't daring enough to permanently mark themselves. Eden's hair is half-shaved off and the other half is left long. At times she'll style her hair where the shaved areas are completely unnoticeable and other times she'll pull her hair into a high ponytail.

Eden is only really sociable within her group of friends that she has known for years. Of these friends there are only three she trusts. Most of her social interactions are also done online due to a personal preference. Eden dislikes having others expect a certain etiquette and demeanor when actually interacting with others in person. She doesn't alter herself or mask her true personality even if others are offended or scared.

Eden is a skilled, self-taught hacker. She first started this illegal practice when she was 15. The online world seemed like an entirely different universe where others thought they were safe; anonymous. Eden preferred this unexplored world and all its possibilities and officially became recognized as a hacker when she was 17 after leaking a large corporation's dirty little secrets.
