The world has its laws. Inorganic materials cannot rot, Songs cannot be infested by vermin, And writhing bits of flesh cannot course through the runoff of the streets. What happens when those laws are broken?
You've recently moved (Or gone on vacation, we don't judge) to the quaint little town of Gutterwood, in the process meeting a reclusive old man who tells you to call him Professor Ergo Pendulum, But what is the "Rotten, writhing, wrong" he keeps talking about? Who is the Gnashing man that makes him panic upon being mentioned? What could have caused him to have to replace a massive chunk of his body with cybernetics? And Why did he tell you to come to his manor in the middle of the night? For some reason, you get the feeling that things won't be getting much clearer...
This would be a mystery focused story with plenty of paranormal occurrences for you to chew into. Minor horror elements, but nothing too crazy.
