Earth has become a world of nightmares, humans watch on the sidelines of the lands they once called home and dominion as beasts and creatures of tremendous strength and power rise above them and go about their own wars of monumental proportion. As a result, the kingdoms of man are falling one by one and very few forces can stand up to the monsters that are ravaging the world.
You are a Monster Hunter, You are the last hope of mankind. All else has failed, and you, along with a few others are the last line of defense and the spearhead of the human revolution. Blessed with little other then bravery and the support of your fellows your job is to charge into battle against creatures far larger and more powerful then you, and pray you survive, pray you might make a difference in the ongoing strife of the world.
You are a Monster, You are the beast that is butchering the lands and it's people. Without you there would be peace, there would be happiness. You are power incarnate with an intelligence born of the long lost gods of chaos and hatred. Rise O fabled beast of ruin, and take the land before you as your own, enslave the lesser races and butcher all that is in your path.
Monster Classes and Creature Types
Monsters are separated into a number of categories based on size and power.
They are separated between levels and classes.
The levels are numbered from 1 to 20 the lower the number the higher the power level
Most creatures on the field of battle are between the power levels of 20 and 8, all creatures above these levels, at 7 to 1 are high commanders and tend to not worry about the facets of the war itself. Between levels 20 and 8 power levels vary in slight amounts, after the point of level 7 however, the leaps of power are staggering.
The classes are as follows
Humanoid
Anything that is remotely close to resembling a human, be it a beast that looks like a devil or a werewolf or anything within these standards. They are generally the foot soldiers and have a higher intelligence level then most.
Malignant
Malignant's are small flying beasts that spread toxins and fear throughout the ranks of men and their other enemies, they are generally very weak.
Mutation
Mutations are combinations of more then one creature type and are very rare. They are generally very intelligent and chaotic.
Abomination
Abominations are an amalgamation of flesh that has been possessed by hatred and gained it's own sentience. They tend to ravage entire battlefields by themselves as even once killed they are able to reform themselves rapidly.
Hulk
Large slow creatures with low intelligence levels and rapid regeneration. They tend to be placed into command positions and are very powerful.
Wyrm
A form of serpent, ranging from a burrowing beast to all levels of snake
Drakonid
Any form of dragon.
Behemoth
Massive Elemental type creatures that are not bound to the elemental planes themselves. They are spell force based and very powerful though lack any defined intelligence and tend to just follow orders.
Titan
Being's of immense size and power, they are humanoid in shape and form for the most part and tend to serve a master while fulfilling their own goals. They are immensely powerful in magical arts.
Collosus
Devastating beasts of primal natures, they are beyond a shadow of a doubt the most feared creatures in the entire existence of Monsters. They harness the powers of magic and their own overpowering strength to do battle, they are the supreme leaders of the monster hordes but most of the time, lack intelligence. There are very few in existence that are wise enough to maintain their own minds.
Elemental
Any monster within the elemental classification, from the sprite level all the way to the Elemental Magisters, they are able to control their respective elements and while they seem very primal they hold an overbearing intelligence. However, once summoned, they are required to carry out the orders of a summoner. They are summon-able at varying degrees of cost.

- I will allow anything from firearms to energy weapons, however I will be making these weapons relatively weak compared to bladed weapons. All weapons can be magically enhanced and Spell Cannons are allowed as well as spell blades. If you can come up with a concept of a weapon, you can probably use it so long as you can describe in detail how it functions. Feel free to harvest weapons from wherever, use RWBY weapon concepts, or even weapon concepts from video games and the like. I don't mind.
Equipment is anything you can think of, all electrical requirements must be met by spellforce however as I am not allowing electricity in the current age to be part of the play (Electrical attacks are fine, but there are no lightbulbs or computers or the like)
Teleportation equipment is not allowed, however in depth spells that allow teleportation (At high cost and long cast length) are allowed.
Phaseing equipment is allowed by comes with consequences of semi permanence. (IE if your character uses phase weapons/phase armor, they themselves will be stuck out of phase permanently without spell caster intervention, said caster needs to be out of phase and know the mechanics of phase walking to remove someone from phase. I'm not going to explain what phase mechanics I mean, If your posting about it, you need to know it yourself.)
Armor is basically what you can dream up, but remember that all barriers and weapons can be broken. I WILL break your characters as I see fit.

All firearm users must obey rules of ammunition as follows
Standard Firearm Clip amounts must be obeyed.
Acquisition of firearms must be logical/realistic. IE: Stored in a safe place, found empty on a corpse, Ect.
Weapons found outdoors will jam or be damaged Unless cleaned and serviced prior to or after immediate use.
Guns Are Noisy! Be aware, fire a gun off, your drawing attention to your group.
Melee weapon constraints.
Melee weapons or physical combat weapons must be realistic as well, blades dull over time or get nicks and chips in them, you must maintain your weapons or they will break, no blade lasts forever unless it is made of ultra durable materials (IE Reinforced metals and alloys, list your alloy type or do not attempt to gain a weapon of this nature!)
Melee weapons involve risk of injury
Armor becomes damaged over time and will not protect you from all attacks. BE REALISTIC!!
Other then that, Rules to be reviewed and expanded upon over time.
If you go away for a period longer then I deem acceptable based on the current climate of the play without working your character to the side-lines or some form of OOC warning I will kill you off. No hard feelings but I don't feel like letting another one of my plays die because someone doesn't feel like posting anymore and just decides to toddle off because they're too childish to simply say they're over the play. The Death Aspect will be worked into the story itself, My character or one of the other monster authors will come in and kill you, Painfully. There are no do-overs with this rule either. You cannot be revived from this occurrence.
