It's fine, it's just I've seen what absorbing elements can do in other RPs. Trust me, it really doesn't get pretty when everyone is absorbing everyone's attacks

I can't believe I'm helping you fight me... well you can't absorb the attacks but since you are facing me, your left and right are reversed. Hence you can at least try lessen the damage the attacks will do to you by firing the opposing elements. So just aim you fire to my ice and your ice to my fire.
