Finished Blue Exorcist in two days, I don't know whether to feel like a slob for sitting in front of the TV for so long, or if I should feel accomplished. I guess a bit of both.
Last night my mother and I were driving along a busy road, moving forward in the middle lane. I didn't notice at first, but we saw a young man, most likely in his mid twenties, holding a sign that read "Homeless and hungry, please help" in the corner by the crosswalk. We turned around since we couldn't scoot into the right lane where he was. When we got into the right lane after turning around, we stopped at the red light right next to him and gave him a few dollars, all that my mom had left. He looked so thankful, his eyes brightened, I could tell in his eyes that he was truly thankful. No one should ever have to wonder where they're going to sleep. No one should ever go to bed hungry or cold. Appreciate what you have.
When I was little I used to look at all the little lines in my skin and think about how detailed they are. I thought someone had sewn me together, I used to think that that's how everyone was created.
