  Personality: Practical and prudent, Lucia is extremely serious. The only humor she understands is sarcasm and dry jokes. That being said, she is also a complete workaholic and as such respects hard working individuals similar to her. It's hard to earn her trust but once you do she's extremely loyal. Lucia is also quite arrogant and despises those who second guess her or point out her flaws though she'll rarely show it to your face. She's a professional and so mostly regards everyone with politeness because, despite it all, Lucia does care what other people think of her.
  
  Bio: This Capricorn was born to a normal family in the backwoods of Hike. Even as a child, she showed a passion for success and a tendency to be overly serious. This being because Lucia always wanted to feel secure. Secure in her job, secure in her financial situation. That, and her desire to be admired.

  Elliot is a observant, brash and blunt person. He speaks the truth even if it hurts someone, involving himself in conversations even if he's not really supposed to. He's aware of this but doesn't really do anything to stop himself from doing it. Elliot isn't the most the emotional type person, he's somewhat sympathetic but he doesn't have the emotions to feel what others' are feeling. He is good however with reading people, and their emotions.
  
  Elliot is a comical person, he tells jokes more than he does for really anything else, and he doesn't take a lot of things serious. He's a very curious person, being very interested in things that seem vague and mysterious, a detective at most. Elliot doesn't really make a lot of friends, he usually gets bored of a person after a while, he likes someone who can teach him about things, really anything, it doesn't have to be something Elliot enjoys, he wants a teacher in his life. Going back to sympathy, he's not the kind to feel remorseful, nor he is very likely to feel guilty about something, he doesn't blame other people of his mistakes, it's just that he doesn't really feel like he's responsible for his actions.

  Elliot was born and raised in Hike, his father being apart of the small police force and his mother being a lawyer. It was set in stone that Elliot would involve himself in some type of law enforcement later in life. He wasn't the most athletic person, but he had the brains to do some type duty with law enforcement, with detective like specialties. At a young age, he was very active with technology, he didn't rely on them but he was so involved with it, that in his later years, he knew plenty of things involving computing and code.
  
  Entering college, he pursued a career in Computer Forensics, after several years of college, he received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Digital Forensics. During these years, he worked as a programmer for some small time companies and generally just programs. After more painstaking years of college, he made it, he became an entry-level computer forensics expert. Being a programmer more as a side job to earn money when he's not on duty.

  Personality:
  Skylar is the smoldering, intellectual type with an amazing eye for detail. It isn’t likely for him to ever display any irrational or emotional outbursts in public, but he does have a short fuse. He gets heated pretty easily, but somehow BARELY manages to keep the lid on the pot. He enjoys order, precision, and efficiency in all things, and everything he does is centered around that. He prefers routines to random or chaotic approaches, and often times if things are unexpectedly sprung on him it can really cause him to stress out. He has a fondness for lists, categories, labels, etc. - He finds comfort in things that have clear patterns and methodologies. He tends to classify every person he meets, and if there’s ever someone who doesn’t adhere to any mold in his mind, Skylar will do anything to figure out why.
  
  Skylar is highly critical when perfection is not found. This fault is doubled against himself and his own performance, which lends a hand to his lack of self confidence. Skylar has trouble relaxing, and hates wasting time or sitting idly.
  
  Fairly reserved with people he doesn’t know, Skylar is uncomfortable with receiving too much attention, and gets embarrassed rather easily. He assumes that everyone views him with the same critical eye that he possesses, which also saps his self confidence. He tries his hardest to live the healthiest lifestyle as possible, and although he does indulge from time to time, ironically enough, most people tend to view him as more “perfect” than most of us, yet he’s the only one who can’t see it. To some, that level of self-imposed modesty can be quite endearing.
  
  Doesn’t often sympathize with people, but his empathy is one of his greatest strengths, allowing him to connect with people more than his own emotions would allow.
  
  Analytical, discriminating, precise, considerate, and reliable, Skylar enjoys work of a technical or analytical nature; something where he can put his discerning eye to good use (despite the fact that his eyesight is below average). He can be seen as picky, pessimistic, or whiny to strangers. He has no kids, but in this aspect he’s actually almost pretty parental in nature.
  
  Bio:
  Skylar was born in Maine, a state tucked away in the Northeastern United States, right on the US-Canada border. He is the middle child in his family of 5, his much older sister off doing work in Vietnam, and his younger brother of 11 still living with their parents back in Presque Isle. Childhood quickly passed by for Skylar. His mother was a stay-at-home wife, and his father was a traveling businessman before he became involved in politics. After he was born, his father ran a successful campaign and had eventually become one of the senators of his state. He learned how to play piano when he was 5, falling in love with the rhythmic and predictive progression of notes as he slid his fingers over the keys. He began participating in competitions when he was 8, and eventually, through much hard work, won his first competition a year later. He was homeschooled by his mother up until he turned 12, which was when he transferred into a private middle school. Ever since he was little, Skylar had always been pretty overbearing and critical. He strived for perfection, and because of this, he didn’t have very many friends, as they’d all thought he was way out of their league. The thought never occurred to him that it was because he was just a little intimidating; he’d always assumed it was because he was ugly, or had stupid tastes in music, etc. All of that was motivation for him to better himself, be it in academics, sports, whatever it may be. He treasured the friends he did make, giving them pointers, ideas, and advice whenever they requested it. This continued all throughout his juvenile school years until he reached college.
  
  Skylar has degrees in psychology and sociology, with a focus in criminal science, as well as humanities, including music composition and liberal arts and sciences. He believed his calling was to, very simply put, improve a person’s life or performances. Growing up, he spent countless hours trying to improve himself, and although he still has much work to do, he sincerely hopes that he can inspire people to reach their fullest potential.
  
  After college, Skylar moved into a small villa just outside of Hike, preferring the quiet wilderness and a blank canvas as opposed to the hustle and bustle of a city.

  Elliot Verdana - A prime example of wasted potential. Elliot, unlike Lucelia, takes very few things seriously. Despite being a year older than him, Skylar sees Elliot as one of the thousands of apathetic youth in today’s society. The man’s unpredictability when it comes to what keeps his attention gives Skylar headaches from time to time, but he’s come to expect it every time he goes in to work. Really doesn’t particularly like his type of people, but if the man had any redeeming qualities, it’d be his thirst for knowledge and his skills with a computer.
  
  Florence Loftwill - Has just about given up trying to convince this Aquarius to come to a therapy session. The only time she'd ever come over was when he said he saw Dracula in the acres behind his home, to which her response, word for word, was "WHERE!?!?! I've heard he's been sucking people off at multiple places around here but I haven't seen him personally! Do you know his address????".
  
  Lorelai Brooks - Friendly and free-spirited, Skylar finds Lorelai to be the easiest to interact with. Her love for the arts is something they have in common, and the fact that she herself is an artist is even better. A small town girl with big ambitions, Skylar wonders just how far she could soar. Also, he thinks her dog is cute.
  
  Samuel Bronson - A dapper fellow with whom Skylar finds he shares many things in common with, like the love of classical music and numbers. The main difference between the two is that Skylar finds the absoluteness and predictability of numbers to be rather comforting, while Samuel finds stability in wealth. Skylar admires the man’s confidence for sure, though he can sometimes come off as pretentious.
  
  Theodore Hux - Finds the man to be very… cluttered. It seems as though he can and will complain about anything, but what sets him off seems to fluctuate every minute, which kind of bugs the Virgo. To Skylar, those qualities make Theo seem much, much more older than he actually is. The opposite also applies, where he can even appear almost childish at times. They’re opposites in the sense that Skylar’s complaints are often based on intellect and logic rather than intuition and moods. Additionally, while Theodore is all about taking cared of his loved ones in an emotional sense, Skylar is more about serving others and healing them on a practical level. They compliment each other well, but they can occasionally butt heads as a result. Regardless, Skylar thinks he makes great coffee and can’t understand how.
  
  Spindel Faustine - One of the newest additions to their team. Skylar hasn’t had much interaction with Spindel, seeing as how she specializes in dealing with dead bodies, of which there aren’t a lot of in Hike. He knows very little about the Libra, but he can already tell that she is indecisive and places the happiness of others far above her own. He wished she cared about herself a bit more — it drives him crazy to be working with a doormat. Spindel is very quaint and calm, and her knowledge and skill as a medical examiner is very much appreciated. Sewing as a hobby is very interesting.
  
  Violet O’connel - A hard working young woman whose organizational skills rivals his own, Skylar is grateful for her addition to the team. Being able to hand off work to somebody who won’t fold it into an airplane is such a relief. Skylar rests a little bit easier relying on Violet when it comes to handling important documents and cataloguing evidence, though her attention span and playful/flirtatious nature, so common of Geminis, often leaves him feeling even more weathered than before. She can be a little irresponsible at times, but Skylar blames it on her age.

  At her very core, Florence is a conspiracy theorist. She loves to debate the oddities of the world and the unexplained, and will often jump to her irrational claims of 'reptilians have struck again' before even considering anything logical. Aside from her tinfoil-hat-wearing side, she is a bubbly and optimistic personality. She adores interacting with others and making as many friends as possible. When presented with verbal confrontation, however, she crumbles rather quickly and reverts to a nervous, bumbling and borderline hysteric stage.
  
  Bio:
  Florence grew up in a big city far outside of this tiny town she now calls home. With her father being in the navy and her mother refusing to move along with him, Florence found herself often alone with her thoughts while her mother left their apartment to go out clubbing with friends and hooking up with whatever she could catch. Thus, Florence would often wander the halls of her apartment complex and listen to the world around her with diligent ears, always keeping up to date with the latest gossip echoing through her hallways, although she was much too young to understand what any of it really meant.
  
  When her father would come to visit, Florence would be ecstatic. She adored her short days spent with her dad, and cherished them with all her heart. Which is why when he disappeared, Florence's world was shattered. They said his ship sank in the middle of the pacific, but there was no way Florence could accept that. It was around that time that her need to fill in the gap with conspiracies arose. Nothing could be random, it was all methodical and planned out by some intervening force, at least in her mind. When she reached 18, she decided it would be her goal to fill in all the gaps, and piece together every bit of information in her life to gain true clarity into the inner workings of the world.
  
  She chose to become a Private Investigator in order to further her desires to know the truth, and help others find it as well along the way. She has had a lot of trouble in the past with clients who 'couldn't see the world the way it was' as she puts it. Her conclusions often led her to believe Mole People had kidnapped someone's spouse, or that the Illuminati had planted poison in a child's body to keep them from learning too much, which would often lead to outrage on her clients' part. But Florence didn't care, she needs the truth and if people can't open their eyes to it, she doesn't have the time to deal with them.

  She is deeply passionate in what she does and who she loves (if she ever finds the right one). She wears her heart on her sleeve too often and is emotionally unstable at times.   Lorelai has lived in Hike all her life. Her father was the primary detective there and her mother, a nurse at the local hospital. Her parents put her in a nearby private school just a couple blocks away from the police station. She had an average life, had friends and bullies, excelled in art and foreign languages. Her bullies would tease her for having the scarring around her right eye. It was something of a birth defect her mother always told her, but Lore had always believed it. Gulliable as always.
  
  Lorelai followed in her father's footsteps at a young age. She was fascinated with the idea of solving cases and often looked through the files he brought home of the crime scenes. Her mother would often disapprove saying things around the idea of "too mature for her young eyes" and "I worry about your father too much for you to go down the same path." After high school, she went to college and obtained a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a GPA of 3.8. She had a niche for blood splatter analysis in school. She also took a couple semesters of Spanish and French, so she would be pretty fluent if need be. She attended the police academy and excelled at the physicality of it all.
  
  After her father retired and Lore graduated college, she was given Sherlock as a present. Her father taught her how to train him just like he used to at the academy. Once Lore noticed the pup's heterochromia, she instantly fell in love. She didn't feel like she was alone anymore. The two have been inseperable since. Sherlock goes everywhere with her.
  
  Starting as a detective here in her hometown where her father worked, she knows she has some pretty big footprints to follow. She just hopes she can make everyone, including herself proud.

All of his clothes are well-ironed, and while some pieces are worn they still look clean and sharp upon use. At his most casual, Sam wears a white dress shirt with a collar and a blazer; if it's hot enough he may even take off the blazer and unbutton a little bit, but that is a rare event. He stays clean-shaven and while he has a collection of hats he usually goes without them. In general, he tends to look rather old-fashioned but professional at the same time.
  
• Personality: An odd combination of lazy and hardworking, Sam tends to be a bit slow to start a project but once he's immersed in it he's capable of working for days on end. He tends to put off working as long as possible unless there is something that immediately catches his interest with the job, so oftentimes he needs a little encouragement to get started on a case or project. One of his main motivators is money so if the money is good enough Sam will jump on it immediately; unfortunately for him, detective work in a small town doesn't pay all that well but luckily some of the cases were interesting enough to pique his interest. Sam has an unbelievable amount of patience and is good at explaining things to others as well as listening, but in the rare occasion that he loses his temper he rages.
  
  Liking to be around people as long as they aren't loud and obnoxious, Sam is laid-back and sociable. He's very easy to talk to and usually ends up drawing information out of people that they wouldn't usually share. However, Sam is also pretty self-centered and usually his first impulse in any situation is to figure out how something would effect him personally. He appreciates it when people put effort into their appearance and in general values beauty and harmony in objects and humans alike, making him a fan of most artistic practices. Sam is a quick thinker, though he doesn't always like to draw conclusions immediately. He has a very methodological process and likes to make sure that everything has been covered before he comes to some rash decision, and despises people who try to rush him in his work. He is a very down-to-earth, reliable coworker and is good at cooperating in groups.
  
  Bio: Growing up as a middle child in a city states away from Hike, Sam from a young age was very interested in mathematics as a school subject. In all other subjects he would fail, but yet it couldn't be concluded that he was unintelligent for he was always a top performer in his math classes. Perplexed, his parents eventually realized that it was simply because Sam had no motivation to pursue any of his other school subjects and they began to give him incentives to finish the rest of his school work. This tactic worked for awhile, but as he grew older he became more disregarding of his parent's techniques. He started to fail classes again and was actually held back a year in eighth grade despite his exceptional math grade.
  
  This behavior continued through his freshman year, but quite suddenly Sam realized that he wanted to get into a good college. Realizing the way he was going wouldn't work, he suddenly became incredibly motivated and threw himself into his school studies. However, at that point, he had missed a ton of school work already had even with his newfound work ethic he struggled to keep up with his peers - except, of course, in math. His junior year saw him achieve above-average test scores, and while it wasn't anything mind-blowing he still did manage to get into a good college. In college, he double majored in finance and applied mathematics. After deciding he liked finance more, after college Sam applied for a a job as a financial consultant.
  
  While he did well in the job, eventually he began to grow displeased with his strict work schedule and eventually branched out to start his own financial advisory business so that he could dictate his own work schedule. His first encounter with detective work was when he unintentionally stumbled across and solved a case involving financial fraud after one of his clients had been swindled. Immediately intrigued with the idea of detective work, and the fact that joining a government agency would give him better pension opportunities than many other alternatives, Sam searched for detective jobs. However, nobody seemed to be willing to hire an inexperienced finance adviser. That was when he discovered Hike, a small town whose requirements were lower than most. Accepted into the job, Sam moved his advisory business to Hike and began practice as a detective.

Not without complaining first, and making empty promises of being owed though. He has a dry sense of humour, and can dish out insults much easier than he can take them. That is to say, he gets flustered, uncomfortable and, as a result, angry, easily. Socially awkward, he is severely uncomfortable when surrounded by those that he doesn't know. And when he is uncomfortable, he slips into his defense mechanism: grouchy anger. He lacks all sense of social tact, and is known to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, often leading to humorous misunderstandings. All in all, Ted is a crabby, moody mess with a soft spot for his friends.
  
  Bio: Teddy is the child of a failing relationship, in which the teenage Naomi Hux fell pregnant in order to secure the position with her boyfriend. It didn't work, and after his birth Ted was passed on to Noami's much older brother, Garfield Hux.
  
  Being raised by the literal definition of a cool uncle is about as awesome as it sounds. Teddy was raised with little to no supervision. Funnily enough, it was this freedom that caused Ted to grow up quickly. He was the 'man' of the, admittedly two person, family by the time he was 14. It was nearly a year later when he really began to resent his uncle for that. In fact, that was why he wanted to be a cop in the first place. His uncle hated them.
  
  The resentment eventually faded as Teddy grew, but the dream didn't. And so, he got a bachelor degree in criminology and made his way to

  Skyler - Ted likes Skyler. He's a good guy, at heart. It's just a shame about his perfection streak, and how much it controls his life. And as much as Teddy tried to understand it, sometimes it just frustrates him.
  
  Florence - Florence is definetly one of Ted's favourite people, though she doesn't have much competition. Though he doesn't believe her theories for a second, he can always find time to listen to them, if only to see the way that she smiles when she gets really invested in the government's wrong doings, or the plans of the lizard people.

  Personality: Quiet and observant, Spindel is a thoughtful and reserved soul, one who is always willing to lend an ear to anyone who may need it. Her gentle personality means she has few enemies, but her easy going nature tends to get her into sticky situations.   Bio: Spindel inherited her calm nature from her mother, Elena. The woman was a kind, eccentric, and sickly. She worked from home as a seamstress and taught Spindel everything she knows. She was sewing before she could walk according to her mother. Her father, Anthony, was a mortician, who owned and operated a funeral home. Spindel grew up with death just being a normal part of life, her father's work often followed him home, and her mother's health was so bad that even as a child, Spindel knew she wasn't long for this world. Her passing came when Spindel was eight, and from then on, she was her father's biggest emotional support, as Elena's death was devastating for Anthony.
  
  Spindel worked at her father's funeral home throughout her teens, and while she was content withe helping him, she also longed to do something with her life...something other than take over for her father. After much debate, Spindel convinced her father to help her get to school, if she couldn't find any field of study that interested her, she would come home and stay there. Lucky for her, Spindel developed a love for the criminal justice system while at school and decided whatever she did with her life, she wanted it to involve solving crimes. Rather than discard all her father had taught her, Spindel studied biology and graduated with the intent to go on to med school. Upon earning her bachelors degree her father tried to convince her to move back home with him once again, but Spindel had found something she was passionate about, and for the first time in her life, she was willing to fight for it.
  
  She went on to medical school, and later completed her forensic pathology fellowship, despite her father's wishes. She took the first job she was offered, which was in a small town named Hike. Spindel picked up her life and moved to the small town, hoping to carve out a life for herself away from her father. She's been living in Hike for a little over a year so far, and while its a big jump from the city to the small town life, she's enjoyed every minute of it.
