Ever since she was a kid, Yuri always wondered why the weather reflected on how she felt or why she felt at home in high places where she can imagine on reaching the sky. She never knew her parents; only that one was Swedish and the other was Japanese. Her foster parent never left her alone, always criticizing her for every mistake she made, and left marks on her thighs and back from all the hits. One day, Yuri was scared when her foster parent got drunk and grabbed a knife, yelling that she'll make it look like a suicide. She got cornered and in desperation, Yuri blasted her foster parent away with a gust of wind. She ran away and lived on the streets for a couple of days until June took her in as an older sister figure.
