Marcus sat on the edge of his bed as he opened the last cardboard box of his personal belongings and dug in. This move had been the biggest pain in the ass there ever was. Not to mention Sadie's meltdown. Holy shit that was dramatic. Still though, Marcus didn't blame her. Sadie was just saying what everyone else was feeling, but in the end the siblings had to move anyway. There was mention of a divorce and that was the real anchor weighing on Marcus's heart. Even though he didn't talk to his parents on the same level his siblings might, he still loved his parents and wanted them to stay together. Marcus reached in and pulled out his iPad. He turned it on and sat it on the bed. He looked inside and then took the box and went over to his desk. He poured out the contents onto the desk's surface with a loud noise. There were notebooks, a drawing pad, a box of colored pencils, pens, markers, scissors, tape, a black lighter, and a Paris themed tin. Marcus stared at the tin for a moment. It was one his friend James had given him last year. He dropped the box on the floor and picked up the tin. Marcus went over to his bed and sat down with legs crossed. He popped it open, the contents waiting on his attention. Marcus pulled out a piece of folded paper and sat it on the bed. There was something that lain underneath. Marcus reached in and slowly withdrew what looked like a rolled cigarette. "Just what I needed." Marcus went back over to his desk and got his lighter. He proceeded to lite up his joint and inhaled deeply. The thick, sweet aroma filled his room and he laid down on his bed. He grabbed his iPhone and shot his sisters a quick text, In room, getting stoned. Need a hit?

Ella Joy Redford

Elle had been following the new family, unseen of course. It has been quite lonely since the last family moved out. Of course she had Giovanni, Tyler, and Aito, but they were stuck also. Without people living in the house, there is no connection with the outside world. No TV, news, movies, daily life issues, and most importantly: no new books. Elle had a few of her favorites she had stolen and stashed away when previous owners left, along with what she has written, but she always craved reading new books. There was one terrible time when a family didn't read much at all, and what they had read was garbage. But generally, Elle found at least a couple books she enjoyed while each family lived in the house.

Since there were four children in this family, there would likely be no shortage of things happening. Also, at least one of them had to be someone she would get along with. Currently, she was following the boy. She didn't really know their names yet, only hearing them mentioned briefly. Elle was always nosy (well, she preferred the terms "curious" or "inquisitive" much better), so naturally she peeked over his shoulder when he was going through his things and unpacking. Her curiosity suited her career choice as a journalist when she was alive. Seems like he was some sort of artist. She made a note to herself to come back later to check if any of his notebooks were new. At first, she refused to steal from the house's occupants, but that did not last long. Right now, she was running out of space in her current one and she hated scrounging for paper. It was too disorganized.

Elle watched as he pulled out a joint and the familiar smell began to waft around the room. She was no stranger to smoking and partying in college, even after college, although it was far less frequent. In fact, she had planned to get a little high with her friend and a few others at the party on the night she died. Clearly, that never happened. She couldn't see what he was doing on his phone since he was lying on the bed, so she decided to poke through his things while he was distracted.

As the youngest Patterson child, and probably the most high strung, Sadie had been pretty much left alone since arriving at the new house. Honestly, that suited the redhead just fine-- her throat already burned from yelling, and her eyes were puffy from crying. But no matter how many tears she'd shed, or how explosive of a meltdown she'd had, it didn't change a thing. They'd moved.

Groaning, Sadie flopped back onto her bed, her crimson hair sprawled out across the bed behind her in a bright halo of sorts. Staring at her ceiling, the ugly ceiling that she swore up and down didn't belong to her, she felt herself growing angrier and angrier. Balling her hands into fists, she slammed them down on her comforter in a childish temper tantrum.

And then her phone beeped.

Jerking her head to the side, she spotted the device on her bedside table. For a moment, she considered throwing the thing against the wall, but decided against it. Rolling onto her stomach, she snatched it off the table and read the message, quirking a brow at her brother's words.

Maybe a hit would calm her down. She toyed with the thought a moment before shaking her head, deciding to scroll facebook instead. She wasn't really a smoker; the bit of control freak inside of her kept her from partaking on most occasions. There'd been a few times, but not many; she could count them on one hand.

When facebook got boring, she clicked back home and typed out a message to her brother.

"This is bullshit."

Tempest

vco11vh6afa21.jpg
After placing the last book on the shelf, Tempest walked back to the entry of her room and took it all in. Everything was perfectly organized, not an object out of place, and it looked like she had lived here for quite some time. Her bookshelf was organized by author, comparable to in the previous house when it was by color, but Tempest enjoyed the simple change. The room had large windows, allowing for the natural light to seep in all around her, her curtains blowing gently with the wind. Her favorite part of the room was the windows, they ran from floor to mid ceiling, allowing Tempest to look out into the back yard and up at the sky at all times if her curtains were pushed back. Though she was unhappy with the move, Tempest could at least enjoy the beauty of the old house. The rest of the house was still asleep when she decided to go for a run, putting in her AirPods and taking a deep breath, she set off down the steps of the house and shut out the rest of the world. Throwing fits like her younger sister wasn’t her style, Tempest would usually go running or pick up a new hobby to keep her frustration about things in check. As she ran, Tempest looked at the houses next door, they looked similar to her own, grand houses in an old style. She wondered how her new neighbors would be.
Finishing her run about thirty minutes later, Tempest arrived back at her door. Before walking in, however, she looked around the neighborhood once more, observing every little detail. It almost had a magical air to it, as if time was suspended due to the old architecture and the amount of trees and flowers present throughout the neighborhood. Sighing, she tip-toed through the door and back to her room for a shower.
As she slipped on a tank top and shorts, her phone buzzed. Wringing out her hair as she glanced at the text, she saw that it was from her brother asking his siblings if they wanted to come smoke. Tempest didn’t smoke and she never would, she believed it inhibited her from functioning to her best ability. However, she didn’t mind that her siblings or friends participated in the act, and she wanted some company. Tempest set the towel on its rack and made her way to Marc’s room. Out of all of her siblings, Tempest was closest to mark. They were pretty much complete opposites, but they got along well and pretty much never once had a fight. They balanced one another well. Knocking before opening the door, Tempest walked into his room, it was as large as hers but in a different style, while he was more creative, she was more minimalist.
Tempest plopped down next to Marc at the foot of his bed “How are you liking the house?” she asked, admiring the room before turning to face him.

At about 10:00am after his school’s football practice, Tommy pulled into his driveway in his sleek black Maserati. His father was the type of guy who preferred to show off his wealth. Yesterday, he had noticed a new family move into the house next door, he spotted a few people around his age, but hadn’t seen any parents yet which left him puzzled. Maybe they were Lin a situation similar to his then. Tommy wondered if they knew the history of the house they just moved into, or if they were just as oblivious as the last family. The house had an awful history, thought to be haunted by both evil and good spirits alike…not that Tommy believed in that crap anyways. Though he had seen figures in the windows a couple times, even when the house was isolated. The thought gave him the chills. And while their house was pretty old fashioned on both the outside and probably the inside too, his house’s interior and backyard were redone in a modern fashion, just as his father had wanted.
However, he was excited to meet new people, the last people who lived there weren’t exactly social butterflies, they seemed to avoid contact with other human beings at all. Running a hand through his hair, he set his duffle bag of equipment and clothes inside on the kitchen floor and decided he should head over and introduce himself. Tommy showered in the locker rooms after practice, so his hair was floppy and wet and he was in casual workout clothes, but it wasn’t like he was about to change into nice clothes just to meet the new arrivals.
Tommy casually walked over and hopped up the steps to the front door and gave it a knock, tapping his foot as he waited. He looked at the front door and hoped that the new family would be more agreeable than the last.

Willow settled in fairly quickly, she was good at adapting to change. Though they had been in their home in Baltimore their whole lives she actually didn't ming their new living situation. She liked the quiet. It was only about a 45 minute drive from the tattoo parlor she apprenticed at, she liked the drive it was very scenic. Willow sat in their green room looking out at the rolling hills in front of her, and her being well..her she also had her bong and was taking rips every so often. Being high surrounded by plants and sunshine was her favorite.

Willow even liked her bedroom, it had a nice skylight and she liked the red walls it was similar to the color her parents had on their walls in their room, it was comforting. Despite her parents not doing so well their Mother still went with their Dad on his most recent trip. To avoid getting for other reasons their Dad thought here would be the best place. Her Dad grew up around here. When Skylar heard her phone dig she entered her code and chuckled through her nose. She took a picture of her bong and sent it to her brother. 'Already ahead of you.' she texted back with the picture. Willow wasn't hating the move..and was probably the only one.

After she finished her bowl and she was super toasted she decided to take a bath in one of the nifty claw foot tubs they had. She drew a bath (with bubbles of course) and put on some music. She was listening to The Zoo by Scorpions. She undressed and sank into the deep vintage bath the bubbles surrounding her. "This is nice.." she said softly to herself. High, relaxing, listening to good music, bliss.

Giovanni had watched the new family moved in. He wasn't sure how he felt about these new people...a lot of red headed girls. He did have a thing for red headed girls, but these people would probably all be dead soon and be trapped here with him. He sighed as he wandered through the house. He sniffed, he smelled something? He went to investigate where one of the girls was smoking in the sun room. It was Marijuana. From previous families he had seen his fare share of drugs come through here. He shook his head disapprovingly.

When she got up he decided to follow, she went into the bathroom and started drawing a bath..he missed feeling warm water...she started undressing he turned away his face red. He wasn't into watching girls like that. He wandered the house again this time finding two of the siblings sitting on their bed, he watched quietly for awhile. Then he heard a knock at the door. "More people?" he thought to himself. Thats the last thing they needed.

Unaware of any other presences in his room other than his own, Marcus took another hit. He picked up the folded paper and stared at it. "Now is not the time," Marcus said aloud to himself. He laid the folded paper back in the tin and closed it. There was a ding on his phone and he saw it was from Sadie. "Yeah, it is bullshit." He said quietly. He texted back to Sadie: Yes, but at least you have me. Another ding a moment later and he saw the picture of Willow's bong. He laughed and quickly texted back: You didn't even invite me!

585552There was a knock on his door and Tempest came in. "Hey Tempest. Did you finally come to your senses and decided to get high with your brother?" He smiled and moved his legs as she plopped down. "Am I liking the house? Uuuh, no." He shook his head. "Let me re-phrase, the house is great. But this place is no Baltimore. You saw the sign when we came into town right? Could that be anymore redneck?" Marcus took a hit and held it out to his sister. "C'mon, give it a try one time. Works great when you're having anxiety. Trust me, I've done extensive laboratory testing." Marcus waggled his eyebrows. There was a sudden knock on the front door and Marcus jumped dropping the joint on the bed. The burning core sank into the bedspread as it burned its way through. Marcus picked up the joint patting at the burning hole. "Jesus Christ, the neighbors smelled my joint and called the police didn't they? Fucking squares." Marcus ran to the bedroom window and peaked out. He didn't see any police cars. The porch was covered by an awning so he could not see who it was. "No cops, were safe." He said and sat back down on his bed taking another hit like nothing had happened. "Holy shit, I'm so high right now." He said looking at Tempest with a smile and red eyes.

Not expecting a text back so fast, considering what her brother was doing, she'd set her phone to the side and flopped her head on the bed. When her phone beeped again, she lifted her head and stared at the thing for a few seconds before reaching for it. Unlocking it with one expert hand, she navigated to the new message, a smirk appearing on her lips despite her sour attitude. She texted him back a quick that I do before shutting the device off again.

Pushing herself up to a sitting position, she paused when she heard a knock at the door. Waiting a few beats, she didn't hear anyone going downstairs to answer it, and she had no idea where the parentals were. Scoffing, she hopped off her bed, her heels that she hadn't removed-- who knew how dirty this floor was-- clicking on the floor as she ambled towards the door.

Once she'd descended the stairs, she hobbled to the front door and jerked the thing open, her eyes immediately drinking in the person on the other side. Her gaze softened some, but not much. "Hi." She greeted, her tone just shy of uninterested. "Can I help you?"

Laughing at his comment, Tempest replied “Funny one Marc, the day I smoke is when pigs fly”. Marc was right about the house, it was nice, but it was no Baltimore. Tempest couldn’t tell if that was good or bad. Maybe she needed a break from the life of a perfectionist, could keep in touch with her friends without going out with them 24/7. Glancing back up at Marc, she then shifted her eyes to the joint in front of her face. “Even though getting rid of my anxiety is a tempting offer, I have other ways to destress” she said confidently, what she said wasn’t completely untrue. She had ways to help with anxiety, the problem just never completely went away. Tempest burst out laughing at the scared reaction Marc had to the knock at the door, but she didn’t make a move to get up and check who it was. “No one’s going to call the cops here, our neighbors are probably too old to car about anything other than their next doctor appointment”. She was tensed until she heard the familiar heels of Mercedes clacking to the front door, good someone opened it. Turning back to her brother, she grinned at his silly smile and red eyes. Maybe this move wouldn’t be so bad after all.

It seemed like 30 minutes had passed until the door finally opened. When it did, it was a hot red-headed girl that he guessed was around his age. Rubbing a hand through his hair and plastering his standard ‘boy next door’ smile on, he responded to her disinterested by saying “I live just next door”, he pointed to his house, “and I was just wanted to meet my new neighbors seeing as there hasn’t been a new family for quite a while. Wanted to see if there was anyone I could get along with.” Though she probably wouldn’t care and he was expected her to shut the door in his face with that attitude, he didn’t care, he was used to the prissy girl type running in his circle. At least he’d gone out of his way to try and make new friends in the neighborhood. And to be honest, he needed it, without anyone in his house it was lonely and depressing and a lot of his friends were going on trips this summer so he couldn’t exactly stay with them.

When Elle heard the knock at the door, she left the room to go investigate. There was not much else to do in the room, save for watching the boy get high and talk to his sister. Tempest. At least she had one name down so far. She passed Giovanni as she was leaving the room. "It's a bit strange, isn't it? Seeing the house filled with life again?" she asked. It's been too long since there were people in the house. While she knew the house had problems, especially for the living, she was selfish. She hated being stuck in this house. She was so lonely. While she had the other ghosts, she had been with them for half a century. "Have you seen Tyler?" she asked before descending the stairs to see who showed up at the door.

As she watched one of the red-headed girls go to answer the door, she had an idea. Appearing at the edge of the property, she was walking up the front path as the girl opened the door. She walked up the front steps as the boy greeted the girl. "Looks like we had the same idea. I also live in the area," she said, gesturing vaguely. "I'm Ella Joy, but you can call me Elle if you prefer," she said introducing herself. She stuck out her hand for a handshake. Over the years, she learned to not worry about her dated appearance. When questioned, she usually just explained that she liked to dress vintage. She didn't expect the girl to shake her hand or even let her in. She seemed to be a bit bratty compared to the other children, from the short time Elle had to observe them.

586044Marcus made a quizzical look. He thought he was hearing multiple voices downstairs. He put out the joint in a make shift ashtray, an empty Red Bull can by the side of his bed. He grabbed his iPhone and sat the joint at the very edge of the hole in the top of the can and tip toed to his door listening downstairs. Marcus giggled and looked over at Tempest. "How many people are down there?" he whispered waving his sister over. Soon he stepped out into the hallway and snuck over to the top of the stairway landing. He sat down and looked between the rail posts at the people standing in the doorway. Neighbors...he thought to himself. Your both quite hansom. Marcus reached out and grabbed the posts, one with each hand, as if he was in prison. Maybe he was in prison, the prison of Maryland. Maybe the neighbors would be nice, or maybe they wouldn't. Didn't matter. Marcus already knew he would be spending most of his time in his room...like he always did. He suddenly had the urge to call his dad and ask him about paying for his college. That was all he wanted to do, go to college and improve his artistic skills. Marcus pulled out his cell phone and texted his dad.

Marcus: College?
Dad: We'll talk soon Marcus. Busy atm.

"Your always busy..." Marcus whispered and he put his phone away in his pocket looking back down. Were all dads this way? Maybe it was just his. Who knows. Marcus hummed a sigh forgetting about the people downstairs. He rested his head against the rail. Slowly the room started to move in a spin or was he begining to spin. His friend James had given him that joint before he left, as a going away present. Did he lace it with something? Marcus let out a short laugh and squeezed the banner posts holding on tightly.

Sadie wasn't trying to be rude, but her need to pout and make everyone aware of just how unhappy she was about this move to BFE wanted to take precedence over everything else. The guy on the other side of the door, though, seemed sweet enough. Plus he was attractive. Maybe she could focus her attentions on something else for a little while. Her bed would still be there later to pout on.

Suddenly taking more interest in her neighbor, a slow smile spread out onto her perfectly painted lips. "I'm Sadie." Leaning against the doorframe, she drank him in, finally deciding that she liked what she saw. "So, neighbor. You live alone?"

He didn't have time to answer before another girl walked up. Sadie hadn't seen her approach, but that didn't mean anything. She wasn't known for her attention span. "Nice to meet you, too, Elle." She told the girl, shaking her hand, mostly for show rather than out of any sense of formality. "I'm Sadie." She said again, eyes flicking back towards her other neighbor before coming to rest on Elle again. "Nice outfit." She commented. It was unclear whether it was a compliment or not.

"Care to meet the rest of us?" Gesturing inside behind her, Sadie stepped aside and back into the house. "Visitors!" She called out in a slightly sing song-y voice, glancing up at the stairs. "Marcus, what are you doing?"

Tommy didn’t even notice as Elle took place beside him. He had never seen her before, feeling a but quizzical regarding the fact that he lived in the neighborhood, but he wouldn’t question her. She looked liked she had come from an earlier decade, but vintage was on trend nowadays. “I’m Tommy nice to meet you, must’ve missed you in the past few years I’ve lived her” he said with a polite smile. Then, turning his attention back to the cute red head in front of him. So Sadie was her name, nice to know. It took him a second to realize he had never answered her question from earlier before Ella had strolled up. “Uh yeah I live alone, it’s not the bad all the time but it’s nice to finally have neighbors my age” he said optimistically, rubbing a hand throw his hair. At Sadie’s invite, he stepped into the beautiful old house and spotted a boy with a sloppy grin and red eyes accompanied by a girl standing at the railing next to him. He couldn’t help it when a laugh escaped him at the sight.

As a mischievous look came upon Marc's face, she wondered what her brother would do next. "Marc what are you doing?" Tempest whispered, creeping after him as he tip toed over to the top of the stairs overlooking the front of the house. As he looked at his phone , Tempest debated asking what was wrong when a disappointed look crossed his features. However, she didn't have time as Marc put his face against the stair rail and began to giggle at the downstairs guessed. At first Tempest only saw Sadie, then she spotted a blonde boy who was attractive, but Sadie would probably go for him and she preferred brunettes. She snapped out of that train of thought as a girl followed, it looked as if she was a vintage model. Tempest wished she could pull that style off. Then, thinking she needed to be a good hostess, she grabbed Marc's hand and went downstairs to stand near Sadie. "So, who are our guests?" She asked in a whisper, smiling at the new arrivals.

After WIllow's fingers started getting pruny she decided it was time to end her vintage bath. She whined softly to herself. She got out of the ub and dried off, wrapping her towel around her. She brushed out and blow dried her hair before putting some blue jeans shorts and a black tank top on. When she came out of the bathroom she could hear some voices. She nervously made her way to peek to see who was at the front door. She saw her siblings standing there and a couple unfamiliar faces. She figured they were the welcoming committee or some shit. She judged that her siblings had it under control. It was a younger guy, pretty cute and a vintage-dressing woman. Whats with people and vintage shit around here? She wondered to herself.

She shrugged and made her way to the kitchen to throw on a pot of coffee, the weed was making her sleepy. Also it would be available if her sibling brought the neighbors in. She looked at her phone while her coffee was brewing and saw the text from Marcus. "Sorry, dude I honestly didn't even think about it...we can smoke later?" she hit send. Willow knew Marcus was having a hard time with all of this and she felt bad for not spending as much time with him...then again she didn't spend a whole lot of time with her sisters either. Sadie and Tempest had a lot more in common. She sent another text to Marcus "If you ever need someone to vent to please come find me." she frowned and hit send. She jumped up on the counter with a cup of coffee. She hoped this would be good for them.

587404"Uhhh, tripping?" He said to Sadie. Marcus laughed as Tempest took his hand and he followed her down the stairs. He kind of stumbled on the last step. When he got closer to the visitors he smiled at them. "Well, aren't they a hansom couple. Hi I'm Marcus." He said holding out his hand to each of them in turn. "Nice to meet both of you. My eyes are red because I have allergies, just in case you were wondering..." Marcus said a little guilty. Not that he really cared if they knew he got high, but some people could be really uptight. He glanced around for Willow but didn't see her. "And these are my two beautiful and very single, sisters." He said holding his hands out to the girls. "Of course they won't date just anyone, their mates must be of the highest caliber...me on the other hand...I'll date anyone." Marcus laughed at his own joke while waiting for them to respond to his sense of humor.

Suddenly in better spirits than before, Sadie leaned against the banister at the bottom of the stairs as her neighbors entered the house. It was a nice house, she had to admit, even if she didn't really want to be here. She already missed their home; this place would never be home in her eyes. But, perhaps it wouldn't be all bad, especially if her neighbors were this attractive.

"Must be nice to live alone." Sadie commented, her eyes back on Tommy. "As you can see, we have quite the full house here. This isn't even everyone." She wondered where Willow was, but then again, the girl wasn't quite the social butterfly as Sadie was. "But I imagine it can get lonely at times. You're welcome here anytime."

Her other sister, Tempest, made an appearance as well. "This is Tommy, and this is Elle." Smelling coffee from the kitchen, her confusion on Willow's whereabouts was cleared. "Apparently, our eldest sister is making coffee. Would either of you want some?"

Starting in that direction, she paused at Marcus' words and antics, a small smile that only her brother could cause appearing on her face. "Quite single." She grinned at Tommy over her shoulder, then headed for the kitchen. "Oh, Willow!"

Elle just smiled at Tommy. "Nice to meet you too. I don't really get out much, so it's quite possible you missed me," she responded. To say she didn't get out much was an understatement. Of course she took advantage of the one day she could leave each year, but obviously, she was stuck the other 364 days of the year. She stepped into the house once Sadie invited them in. She looked around the place as if she hadn't seen it. "My best friend used to live here. Feels like forever ago," she muttered. She wondered how Ruth was doing. She would occasionally use one of the residents computers to look up her friends and family, but it was hard finding someone when you don't know where they live anymore. Pushing the thought aside, she plastered on a smile as the other two siblings descended the stairs.

Elle shook Marcus' hand. She also reached out her hand towards his other sister. "Nice to meet you, Marcus. I'm Ella Joy, but thats a mouthful. Call me Elle," she introduced herself. Elle stopped herself from laughing at Marcus' excuse. Of course, she knew it was a lie. "Allergies are the worst. I have them too," she said with a knowing smile. "They should be concerned with who they date, there are a lot of assholes out there. I would give you insight on my dating life, but unfortunately it is nonexistent. I've been single for over fifty years it feels like," she responded. It was the truth, she was dumped shortly before the party for being too concerned with her career. She didn't get the chance to date someone else before she died and she really hadn't considered it since she died.

"This house is beautiful, isn't it?" she asked. From her short time observing the family, she knew that the majority were not happy about the move, so she chose not to mention it directly. The beauty of the house was the only thing she appreciated about being stuck here. She'd much rather be stuck in this big, gorgeous house, rather than a cramped plain home. She didn't have anything against those homes, it's what she grew up in, but at least this place gave her room to escape the others if she was having a bad day. "Coffee would be nice," she responded with a smile.

588386Marcus's phone dinged a couple of times as was talking with Elle. "I like that name, Elle." He smiled back at her. "Yeah, by the way, your clothes are freakin' awesome." He said looking her over. "I know, right? Lots of assholes out there..." Marcus frowned feeling something he shouldn't be feeling while high. He took out his phone ignoring the others for a moment. He had gotten two texts from his sister and read them real quick. He made a quick text back to her.

Dude, where the hell are you? We have company.

Marcus followed Sadie to the kitchen. "Oh, there you are Wilow! Sadie's been looking all over for you." He said teasing them both. He saw that the coffee was brewing. It smelled good and he got down six cups. The coffee maker chimed indicating that the coffee was ready. "Ok, who want's coffee?" Marcus yelled so everyone could hear him.

588388Aito Tajima slowly walked up from the dark basement. There was a creek on the stairs but he did not stop. It did not matter if he was heard, the main thing was, he would not be seen, not yet anyway. He had seen the new tenants moving in through the basement window and decided it was time to come up investigate what was going on. Aito usually stayed below. It was dark and dank. Safe. Of course, there were others that came down here, or stayed down here, but they did not bother Aito, nor did he bother them. Somewhere down here there was a picture of his grandparents that he could never find, though he had spent a couple of decades looking for it. The basement door quietly opened behind the group and he shut it just as quietly. Aito walked to the living room, his hand gliding across a box's edge as he did. There were five people gathered in this area. Three girls and two boys. He knew the blond kid lived close by. The one with the brown hair was one of the new tenants. Two young girls milled about, and then one of them headed to the kitchen followed by her presumably brother. And then there was Elle. She was already hob-nobbing with the new tenants. He couldn't blame her though. Things got kind of boring around the house with out living people in it. Aito dearly wished he was still alive also. Those were the good days. Pain, love, hate, joy, all the real good emotions that could be felt that made you feel alive. Now...everything was kind of dimmed. The light outside seemed to not shine as bright anymore. Vibrant colors were now muted with tones of grey or black. And there was the constant pain in his abdomen where he had been stabbed multiple times. Some days it was worse than others and he really didn't understand why. He had never asked Elle or the others if they had that constant pain from how they died. Not that it mattered really, for what could be done about it? Aito quietly observed the group for a moment and then headed upstairs to have a look around.

Giovanni saw the extra person who was in the house. Elle was obviously already a resident unknown to them. He watched the exchanges between them. Elle was always eager to meet the new tenants, it was kind of cute how personable she was. He didn't really talk to her much other than pleasant exchanges now and then. He sometimes let himself be seen but it was rare, he tried to not get attached because the families either move out quickly or fall victim to the houses....aura for lack of better terms.

He started going down the stairs and he saw Aito. "Ciao." he said with a pleasant smile as he descended the stairs to go be nosy during the conversation. He went into the kitchen leaning back against the back wall watching everyone silently.

Tempest
588828

Grinning and rolling her eyes, Tempest refrained from laughing at Marcus trying to plat off his red eyes. As if these people, who seemed as if they’d done a fair share themselves, would care about what her and her siblings did in the house. However, Tempest did slightly elbow Marc when he mentioned that she and Sadie were single. Though she and her last boyfriend hadn’t been starstruck lovers, it still felt disrespectful to move on so quickly. But she did hear that he got pretty cozy to a girl she had her suspicions about at a party the night they broke up. Shaking the thoughts from her mind, Tempest focused again on the newcomers. Sadie was eyeing the boy up which was only natural seeing how attractive he was in that “all American” “boy next door” way. Sadie could have him, after all she needed a pick-me-up after their move.
“Hi Tommy, hi Elle! It’s nice to meet you both. I’m sorry we haven’t had time to introduce ourselves to our neighbors, we just finished unpacking” she said with an apologetic shrug. Rather than waiting for a hot cup of coffee, Tempest grabbed a store-bought health smoothie from the fridge from her favorite brand and sat on the kitchen island to talk to the guests. “It is a nice house, I love the design and architecture” she agreed with Elle, taking in the beautiful kitchen.
