[SIZE=14pt]Morpheus is a Greek name derived from the word morphe, meaning "form, shape." In mythology, this is the name of a god of dreams. We want our school to be where you develop your dreams. Dreams can become a reality when you work towards a goal. The goal will be set by you as the incoming student and adjusted as you grow in knowledge.[/SIZE]







[SIZE=14pt]Academy is a place of learning. Learning is sometimes difficult, sometimes easy and occasionally fun. What you learn here will depend on how much effort you put into your own education as well as your dreams and visions that you will be shaping here.[/SIZE]







[SIZE=14pt]While you are here you will be given certain items while other items will be either gifts or items that you will earn. You will be given the permission to shop at our Academy Store where you will be allowed to choose your clothes and other personal items. There are many departments to go to but at the moment, not all are open. Eventually, staff will have the complete Academy Store open. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]The Student’s Main Hall is where we are. You are in the Large Lecture Room. The next room is the Student Lounge where you may relax and have a snack between classes or after classes. The Dining Hall is at the End. There are more rooms that are not yet in use.[/SIZE]







[SIZE=14pt]You will stay in this wing until you have reached Upper Classmen Rank. Your rank at the moment is Entry Level Student. All classes will be on one of the floors on this side as well as your bedrooms.[/SIZE]

There are some people who can read auras and know what you are feeling, what kind of magic and if you have the tendencies to use the magic for the good or evil so to speak. What we do with our magic will affect those around us in one way or another. Let’s begin with the basics of auras.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]As you can see, there are greyish dividing lines that have separated each set of aura. Some will have white while some will have black. Those dividing layers can be any shade between black and white. It will show your tendency at the time viewed. One must be careful with the feathers, unless a feather is grown in, a damaged feather may inhibit a bird's ability to fly. One must be careful of blood feathers which are the newly growing feather. Firebirds are shy creatures that are easily frightened and therefore very dangerous. They are intelligent and flock together. They do not spit flames, but when upset they spark and set things aflame.*[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]A new bondbird stock was bred that is much calmer. It bonds with one person and forges a telepathic link. The bond bird stock is larger, and therefore heavier than wild firebirds. It has a proportionally larger brain as well. Bond birds communicate in simple thoughts and emotions usually, though some are smarter than others. Depending on the strength of the link, a bond bird and its bond mate can see through each other's eyes in a strange sort of double vision. This double vision will be disorienting and can cause nausea, but once you adjust and get used to it, it can prove helpful. Firebirds have long trailing tail feathers, and a delicate head and neck. [SIZE=14pt]Lyres are high flying birds with a beautiful voice that can enchant anyone around. The wings are wide and there are 5 to 7 long tail feathers that extend beyond the rest. These tail feathers are what attract the opposite gender in the mating ritual. Once the lyre is mated it stays mated for life. If one of the pair does die first, the other one will mourn its loss with a melancholy song. Most do not remate again but live alone for the rest of its life.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Lyre is the largest of the singing birds, growing up to 30- 35 inches long with 2 to 5 extra-long feathers which have pale eye markings on them. These birds can and often do figure out how to get out of their cages due to mostly boredom. They will learn how to sparkle which will light up a room and spark out which is how they disappear into thin air. No known way to stop them but each one will be tagged with a communication gem tag for retrieval. They may be left alone.[/SIZE]

Their sparkle and sparking out is a noteworthy ability, and makes them useful as messenger birds, but these magic birds have another trick up their sleeves. As a hatchling, the crow gains sight. During the growing into a young aviator, the crow studies the darkness surrounding it. Since sight was the first sense the inherited, it's best for the Shadow Crow to be raised in the dark, for the lights can easily harm their eyes. As the crow begins to get stronger, the mother feeds it fruits, mice, and nightshade. The nightshade is what gives these crows the ability to form into a mist-like shadow of their former self.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=12pt]As the Shadow Crow comes into adulthood, its mind has become the strongest thing in its entire body. The crow then realizes that its brethren are experiencing the same issue, Freedom. As the cycle goes, the Shadow Crow kill their parent using their power against her. The Crow then go their separate ways, most of them finding their own homes, but the more talented few choose to "Imprint" themselves on humans they deem worthy. The Cerberus pets are three-headed snarling little beasties. They are also smaller than expected. Whatever the case is, Cerberus looks and behaves like the guard dog in mythology.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=12pt]Cerberus is much more surly and bloodthirsty than a Hellhound. Full grown Cerberus will only eat live meals and fresh kills. They are predators and only will follow one person. [SIZE=12pt]The species is an eastern styled four toed dragons with feathered wings. The adults are normally gold with white wings and manes that are tipped with very light blue. Hatchling have a similar, but duller coloration. However this is a rare darker color morph. This morph is black, with dark purple wings and manes tipped with silver. In personality they are among the most gentle and compassionate creatures in the world. While they will engage in friendly spars, they hate actual fighting. That is not to say that they won’t fight if they need to, but will try non-violent means first if they can. Instead of fighting, they love to heal and comfort others.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]NOTES: Nunbola are very small creatures resembling a rabbit with a squirrel-like tail, growing up to weigh no more than 5 pounds as a full grown adult. They survive in the mountainous regions of the north through blending in with the environment and having both quick reflexes as well as speed. When caught, their body temperature quickly drops to freezing levels as a fear response and normally causes a numbing sensation to the predator in order to force them to release the Nunbola. Their coats range from white, grey, or white-blue in color and can also be found in a mixture of said colors. Nunbola are covered in a very thick, soft fur to protect them from the harsh temperatures of their natural habitat and even huddle together most of the time for extra warmth. Because of their fur being so thick, snow and frost seem to quickly accumulate deep within it, especially so considering Nunbola roll around in very fine snow to clean themselves. Nunbola can be seen shaking out their fur to release this frost from their coat and creating small mounds of snow by the time they are finished. By nature, these animals are very skittish of strangers and will take time, kindness, and a whole lot of dedication before they full bond with their owners. They tend to operate in large groups and as a result, will crave a lot of attention from their owner when kept alone.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=12pt]Young: Nunbola are born fully-furred and with a complete set of senses, however, their newborn fur is nowhere near as thick as an adults. Not only that, but the reflexes of a kit are extremely sluggish, so they are kept in the center of Nunbola huddlings until they are at least three months of age. At this point their fur and reflexes are strong enough to sustain the Nunbola outside of their den.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=12pt]Adult: As an adult, Nunbola do not grow very much past their three month stage, but their speed and snow buildup does seem to increase as they age. They become very attached at this stage as well, so it is suggested that a nunbola not be given to an owner that does not think they will be able to take care of it for the rest of its lifespan.[/SIZE]

Welcome to Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talent. 


[SIZE=14pt]Welcome to Aisling Morpheus Academy. My name is Lady Aurora Rose deForest and this is my twin, Lady Lunaria Rose deForest. Together we will be teaching you how to use your Magickal Core as well as what else you can do. Let’s begin with the name of the Academy.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Aisling is an Irish Gaelic name meaning "dream; vision." This is what we are looking for in our Academy. We want you to dream big and develop a vision of what the future could hold for you.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Morpheus is a Greek name derived from the word morphe, meaning "form, shape." In mythology, this is the name of a god of dreams. We want our school to be where you develop your dreams. Dreams can become a reality when you work towards a goal. The goal will be set by you as the incoming student and adjusted as you grow in knowledge.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Academy is a place of learning. Learning is sometimes difficult, sometimes easy and occasionally fun. What you learn here will depend on how much effort you put into your own education as well as your dreams and visions that you will be shaping here.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]While you are here you will be given certain items while other items will be either gifts or items that you will earn. You will be given the permission to shop at our Academy Store where you will be allowed to choose your clothes and other personal items. There are many departments to go to but at the moment, not all are open. Eventually, staff will have the complete Academy Store open.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]The Sweet Shoppe is where you may buy those yummy goodies that are from Earth as well as those that we have made. You will be allowed to fill a Snack Cart which will be delivered to your room. The list of goodies will be in the store.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Mythical Creatures and Supplies is where you will be getting your Pet. There will be more on that subject later.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Magic and its uses[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Each of you has something that most people no longer have. A Magickal Core. It is that Magickal Core that enabled you to be able to use the Retrieval Letter. The Retrieval is the letter that that you spoke the Activation Words.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]“I wish to go away and never come back. I want to go someplace where I will never be found again.”[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]When you spoke those words, you opened up your Magickal Core that is inside of you.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Let’s talk about that Magickal Core and Magick in general. There is a difference between Magick and Magic. Magic is what you will be practicing on. Skills that are developed by learning and practicing many times until it is perfected. Once these Skills have been perfected and you can perform these Skills without thinking, then those Skills become Magick.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Don’t be thinking that everything will be easy to remember. In fact, most Magick Users will keep a Grimoire. A Grimoire is a book of Magickal Knowledge. You will be given your first Grimoire so that you can place your own Spells, Techniques and anything that you wish to remember. [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]I want to speak a bit on Magick and its uses. I want each of you to listen to this carefully. [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Magic is a tool that can be used for good or evil or anywhere in between. The magic user must be aware of what he or she is doing and why. There are consequences to using magic. Consequences can be devastating if the magic user is not aware of all of the effects of the magic that is being used.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The magic user is only as strong as his or her body’s endurance of the physical and mental abilities. Magical Strength is the combination of Magical Knowledge, Physical Endurance and Mental Endurance.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]A) Physical Endurance [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The magic user is only as strong as his or herself. Magic takes a lot of stamina to do and the body will be drained constantly when the person uses magic. You will be developing the Physical Endurance during Self Improvement Classes. In Self Improvement Class, you will be exercising in the beginning. These Exercises are designed to build up your Physical Endurance.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]B) Mental Endurance[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The magic user must be able to concentrate well, visualize well and think clearly as well as quickly. To do this we need to meditate and do mental exercises to make the mind stronger. Meditation is crucial to one’s mental ability. This is the way one learns how to concentrate, block out unwanted noises, keep the mind clear of intrusions and to imagine the impossible.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt] [/SIZE]C) Knowledge.


[SIZE=14pt]The magic user must be able not only use magic but know the 3 parts of magic.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]1) What is the first part. The magic user must know and understand what he or she wants to do with his or her magic.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]2) Next come How. The magic user must know each step of the magic well enough to actually be able to visualize the magic being done in each step until it becomes as simple and routine as breathing.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]3) When is the last part. To cast magic the magic user must know when each step should take place.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]An example of this is putting your shoes on.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]What would be the need to put on shoes to protect your feet from anything that would do them harm or make them uncomfortable, ect.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]When would be like when you leave to go outside not before going to bed. [/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]How would be putting them on your feet before tying them and to have the socks on before you put the shoes. It would be good to tie the shoes, put them on then put on the socks would it?” Lady Lunaria asked.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Magical Tools[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Let’s talk a bit on your Magical Tools. Your Magic Core is your first and most valuable Tool. Your Magickal Core can help you become great Wizards and even Mages in the future. In fact, your Magic Core will be your main Magical Tool in this Academy.  [/SIZE]There are other Magical Tools that you will learn to use as well so I think that it is time to pass out a few things that we have for you.


[SIZE=14pt]Your Magical Tools will be of a special material that is sentient. Sentient means having the power of perception by the senses or consciousness.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Academy Pendant[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The first Magical Tool that you will receive is an Academy Pendant. Please take your Academy Pendant out of the box. As you look at it, it will appear to be a clear glass crystal. But it is not! The Academy Pendant is an Aura Quartz. Aura Quartz is a very valuable Gem Stone. It is hard to find and finding one is very rare. [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The shape of the Academy Pendent is Pyramid. The Pyramid has been considered the strongest shape for a great many years. The Power of the Pyramid multiplies quickly as each level is filled. But the bad part of a large pyramid is that the bond weakens between the layers. [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Time to Activate your Academy Pendant. Pick the silver chain up with your least dominate, allowing the Aura Quartz to dangle below. Your dominate hand grasps it and holds onto the Aura Quartz. Four colors will begin to flash. Each color will represent an element. These are the Core Elements which you are born with. Red is the Fire Element. Blue is the Water Element. Brown is the Earth Element. Cloudy is Air/Wind Element.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]The strongest Element is at the top of the Pyramid while the weakest Element is at the bottom or base of the Aura Quartz. These four Elements and the Magickal Core are the Magicks that you are born with and are your Core Magic. All of the rest are from your Skills or what you work for and learned.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]After the colors settle down in your Pendant, your Pendant will be activated. Wear that Pendant at all times. Charms will be added to the chain on the Pendant and they will give you extra power.  [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Please note that ALL FOUR COLORS will show up in the pendent even if there is a tiny amount of the color. [/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]Cell Phone[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]This is your Aura Fone. When you pick up the phone it will register your aura. It will become yours exclusively. The phone has our numbers in them. If you want to add someone to your call list, all you have to do is to touch the heads of the 2 phones and they will register each other as a friend. You may register each other at break.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]Magical Tool Belt[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Next the Magical Tool Belt. Be sure to wear it every day and keep your Magical Tools in it. As you are able to do more Magick,  [/SIZE]more Magickal Tools will be given to you. Each Magical Tool Belt will have two pouches and two slender tubes. One pouch will be used for your own snacks and the other one will be for snacks for your pet. One sleeve will be used for your wand and the other one will be a guide stick for your pet. Both you and your pet will be frequently hungry. You may eat in all classes except labs. The pets will be in your room during labs so that they will not get into the way. It might be dangerous for all of us if one happens to become scared for some reason.

[SIZE=14pt]This is your Personal Laptop Sy[/SIZE][SIZE=14pt]stem or PLTs. It is super sensitive to touch. In fact, believe it or not, these PLTs are sentient. That means that it can think and feel on its own. I want to have you to be the first ones to touch them barehanded and imprint your aura on your own laptop. After you Activate the PLTs, the PLTs will only work for you.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]Before anyone asks- NO. No you cannot use it to talk to anyone on Earth because it will not reach that far. Remember that you are in a different Solar System than the Milky Way. Things here do not work the same way as it does on Earth.[/SIZE]


 


[SIZE=14pt]The case is opened from the front like so. When it is open, you will see the screen, and a Work Panel. The Work Panel is what runs the PLTs programs. Under the Work Panel are drawers that fit on top of the Work Panel. The first one is the Key board, then the Calligraphy Board and lastly the Drawing Board.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]To the sides are two more drawers. They are your Hand Pads. You will use the Hand Pads to turn your PLTs on. Keep the protective sheets on the areas when they are not being use will make your PLTs working at its peak.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt] [/SIZE]For the moment, please remove the two handprint sheets then place your hands on those two pads like the picture that was on there. Leave your hands on the pads so that the PLTs will register your unique Aura. After that is the Aura Scan is finished, your PLTs will only allow you to enter information on it. You will know that it is done because it will begin to ask you a series of questions starting with your name, age, gender, likes and dislikes.


[SIZE=14pt]After the initial Questionnaire, you may change the colors of your room and the way your furniture is placed via PLT. You may even order furniture for your room and rugs from a catalog inside the PLTs.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt](This will be going into your PLTs Page that I have set up for you.)[/SIZE]

Your Room

[SIZE=14pt]Your room is sentient as well and will recognize your Aura after you place your two hands on the handprints on the chosen door. Everything is in pale blue but after break you can change the colors of your room with your PLTs.[/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]You will also be able to choose what kind of furniture in your room. The room diagram is a basic plan floor plan. You may choose your furniture, rugs, desk, chairs and even a piano if you want to. [/SIZE]


[SIZE=14pt]To get do this, you will need to click on the Room Icon which looks like a tiny house. In the that Section is all of the things we have for your room. [/SIZE]
