Sayoko
𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮. .

- Hello there.
I'm Sayoko. I'm twenty-seven years old, respond to any pronouns, and reside in the Eastern Standard Timezone. I started Roleplaying about sixteen years ago after getting a start on Pokémon forums. Nowadays, I prefer to Roleplay on Discord, but I'm open to writing here on RPNation too. Offline, I'm a full-time student pursuing a second degree in Microbiology while searching for a part-time job. Currently, I'm on summer break and recovering from illness caused by emergency dental surgery complications.
Outside of Roleplaying, I'm a horror fanatic and obsessively play Pokémon Go (feel free to ask for my trainer code, if you'd like!). I have two cats and I enjoy watching comedies with my older sister (we're currently watching Modern Family). I'm also making my way through Harvest Moon: Animal Parade and Pokémon: Shining Pearl while listening to any video essay that seems interesting to me. I also enjoy editing the works of others, which I do on here, and I'm likewise learning BBCode with my free time.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, then please read on! Maybe we might just be compatible writing partners or, at the very least, future friends. - If you are interested in writing with me, you should be the following:
♦ Patient.
♦ A nice person.
♦ LGBTQIA+ & POC friendly.
♦ Ideally over the age of 22.
♦ Willing to contribute ideas. - Rules.
♦ I'm always OK with my characters being harmed, but ask before disfiguring, dismembering, and/or killing them.
♦ Your character(s) should not know confidential information discussed outside of the Roleplay (meta-gaming).
♦ Overpowered characters are fine within reason (no Mary Sues or Gary Stus, please).
♦ Your characters should not be invincible or un-hittable (powerplaying).
♦ Do not control my characters without my permission (godmodding).
♦ Tell me your favorite animal when DMing me (or tell me mine: deer).
♦ Do not force romance onto me or my characters.
♦ Do not give me unwanted criticism.
♦ Do not poke me constantly.
absolutely not.
Beastality, rape, incest, pedophilia, kink-material, graphic animal abuse. If it's a period piece or somehow integral to character backstories, then these things can exist in passing mentions, but I'm vehemently opposed to any of this appearing in our actual story. NSFW content is off the table, period. I'm also against using realistic faceclaims for comfort reasons, sorry.
soft nos.
Pure slice of life (acceptable with twists), games with dice mechanics, space exploration, pre-existing concepts with buckets loads of lore, anthromorphic characters (I may be open to this depending on the plot), high school settings.
maybes.
Toxic relationships, mental illnesses, addictions, angst, bigoted characters (this should not apply to you as a writer!), grey characters, violence, gore, etc. None of this material should ever be romanticized and/or glorified, but I always love to explore it and how characters overcome it. A note on AI Art: I can accept using it for character faceclaims so long as you are not claiming it as your own art and/or are trying to profit off of it. - communication.
♦ Feel free to nudge me once in a while.
♦ Ghost friendly & will not hold a grudge.
♦ I need OOC plotting & I enjoy OOC chatter.

♦ Fine with one-liners!
♦ Terrible w/ descriptions.
♦ Quality over quantity-core.
♦ Will write up to 5-6 paragraphs.
♦ Third person, past tense, A- grammar.
characters.
♦ Tons of variety in my cast!
♦ Short character sheets only.
♦ Depicted with anime/art faceclaims.
♦ I need to play more than one at a time.
character dynamics.
♦ Obsessed w/ found family!
♦ Romance is always optional.
♦ Open to writing all sexualities/genders!
- I'm currently looking to write something with a handful of my OCs. I have a couple of basic ideas outlined below, but I'm open to more plot ideas, so long as they're horror, urban fantasy, and/or dystopian (you can pitch others, but I might not be as likely to bite!).
Someone inflicted by Hanahaki disease has been rejected by the love of their life and is given one year to live. During that year, they set off to explore their world and make some new friends along the way. After falling into a coma, a character forgets most of their life, including the friends that surround their hospital bed. Learning about their friends is one thing, but finding out that they're married to one of them is another.
A group of friends (optional: online) embark on a road trip together. They expected to have the summer of their lives, sure, but none of them would have predicted that the supernatural would have any part in that.An annoyed college student tries to sacrifice five strangers and, instead, releases nine demons of Hell. The aftermath is a ragtag crew traveling across the world to send them back to where the sun don't shine. The world "ended" many years ago thanks to a second Ice Age. Humanity, in attempt to survive, hid away in underground compounds. Inhabitants of these sanctuaries are under the belief that there is nothing left on the surface world. Needless to say, it's a shock when a mysterious transmission is received from somewhere above.A group of people (optional: friends) become trapped in a small desert town with endless fog and nightmarish monsters on the prowl.During the Middle Ages, a mysterious disease escapes dark European forests. What begins with coughing eventually leads to the infected transforming into horrendous monsters.A small New England town is home to more than its fair share of supernatural creatures. Ordinary citizens with extraordinary traits and abilities come together by moonlight to protect their home from encroaching darkness. After hearing a mysterious melody, troubled humans find themselves in a strange world filled with various supernatural creatures! Confined to a mythical town, the humans quickly learn the rules of this world: Should they wish to stay, they must find a supernatural love interest to dance with at the monthly Lunar Dance. The clock is on and the humans only have thirty days.A world runs parallel to earth. Darkness fell, but once upon a time, it was a fairy tale filled with magic. Stories of its existence can only be found in fiction — Until the day that the letters arrived. Then, one day, someone fell over too.
