Appearance:
Bio: Not much is known about Immortalus, prior to the second World War. All that is known is that upon the US entering the war, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, an elite squadron of the US Air Force was formed, code named Phoenix Squadron. The leader of this squadron was a man named Captain Price, known more commonly later as Immortalus. He led his team through some of the worst of the war, occasionally teaming up with the JSA, who recognized his powers and abilities as heroic, but not always his methods. Because before all else, Immortalus was a soldier. Still, there were those JSA members he remained in touch with, and some who still viewed him fondly. Following the catastrophic Vietnam War, Immortalus left the military and took work in more clandestine operations, before settling into the role of a mentor to heroes in the early nineties. He used his experience and skill to help teach the younger generations of heroes, including those who would later form the League. Following the invasion and the founding of the Watchtower and the League in the mid-2000's, Immortalus took a step back to enjoy a quiet retirement, though he always managed to keep a careful eye on those he felt were destined to become the next great heroes. Following the attempts of Simon Stagg and others to black list the heroes, particularly after the devastation following the mind control of Kyle Raynor, Immortalus was contacted by the League and asked to create a team of heroes who could do more covert missions. Seeing the dangers of a world turned against heroes, much like what happened to the JSA due to HUAC, Immortalus quickly agreed, contacting an ex League member to assist him.
