Bio: Not much is known about Immortalus, prior to the second World War. All that is known is that upon the US entering the war, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, an elite squadron of the US Air Force was formed, code named Phoenix Squadron. The leader of this squadron was a man named Captain Price, known more commonly later as Immortalus. He led his team through some of the worst of the war, occasionally teaming up with the JSA, who recognized his powers and abilities as heroic, but not always his methods. Because before all else, Immortalus was a soldier. Still, there were those JSA members he remained in touch with, and some who still viewed him fondly. Following the catastrophic Vietnam War, Immortalus left the military and took work in more clandestine operations, before settling into the role of a mentor to heroes in the early nineties. He used his experience and skill to help teach the younger generations of heroes, including those who would later form the League. Following the invasion and the founding of the Watchtower and the League in the mid-2000's, Immortalus took a step back to enjoy a quiet retirement, though he always managed to keep a careful eye on those he felt were destined to become the next great heroes. Following the attempts of Simon Stagg and others to black list the heroes, particularly after the devastation following the mind control of Kyle Raynor, Immortalus was contacted by the League and asked to create a team of heroes who could do more covert missions. Seeing the dangers of a world turned against heroes, much like what happened to the JSA due to HUAC, Immortalus quickly agreed, contacting an ex League member to assist him.

Bio: Grey received his powers when he was just 14. Misunderstanding what was happening, and the things he was seeing, his parents placed him into a psychiatric facility. Hearing rumors, and sensing magical disturbances, the League dispatched Zatarra to check into the matter. Seeing the boy's potential, Zatarra began training him. In a few short years, his powers had blossomed into a truly potent force. The League, as well as certain outside parties grew concerned, and kept a closer eye on him. After he was instrumental in helping the League drive off the Second Starro Invasion, Grey was offered a position on the League, which he gladly accepted. Little did he know that this was just an attempt to keep him under even closer scrutiny. The boy thrived in his new position as a global hero, and the League slowly began to relax. (Except for Batman, who has no relax mode.) A few years passed. Years where the boy grew up, fell in love, and like all young men before him, lost that love. He tried to save everyone, but felt more and more restricted, and the more people he saved, the more he had to watch die. He became bitter with the world, and withdrawn. He began pushing the lines of the League rules, until one day, he went too far. The League, seeing what he had done, revoked his membership, limited his powers with inhibitor bracelets and cast him out. It was then Grey made a vow, that he'd never fight again, except for a cause he believed in. He retreated from the world into a large house on the beach in California, drinking his days away, until he was contacted by someone from the past, who requested the use of his Home. Grey reluctantly agreed, even allowing the man to change things to the way he needed them, so long as he and the others left him alone.
