    Nicholas is a caring, kind, loving, and helpful person. He loves helping others and doing the right thing. That is until he gets angry and all that sweet shit goes away. His anger management issues are like flipping a switch on and off. He can be happy one second and then the moment where you tick him off, it's like the Gates of Hell opened. He is working on his anger management issues currently as they cause a lot of problems for him.

    Nicholas fights for what he believes is right or wrong. In his eyes, the only person you should ever have to fear is your own self. No one else.

    Maria is an outgoing, caring, and loyal person. She is always down to make new friends and she knows how to keep a smile on your face. When it comes down to helping others she is very caring and considerate. Maria will always keep you in check with your emotions and she makes sure you are in a happy and positive mindset. Loyalty is the number one thing Maria is all about. No matter what happens Maria will always have your back and will stay by your side through good and bad.

    Maria is also highly-competitive, stubborn, and reckless. Her recklessness causes many problems because she just jumps into action very quickly without thinking. Reason For Joining the Team: A desire to help and a need for answers.
Short Bio: Mette Beltran was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska by her adoptive mother, Dr. Lorena Beltran. One of Mette's earliest memories was Lorena gave her a necklace with a raven on it when she was scared to go to kindergarden, saying it would give her luck and protection. Much of her childhood was spent isolated as she always seemed mentally older than her peers. She spent much of her time reading mystery novels and enjoying various forms of puzzles. Her mother did her best to make sure she got social interactions, but also respected her preferences. As she got older, Mette's love of mystery stories led her to desire a degree in criminology and forensics.
While Lorena urged her to go somewhere in state, Mette applied and recieved an academic scholarship to Gotham University. Though unhappy about something, Lorena gave her blessing and encouragement for this massive change. Arriving in Gotham, Mette was going through the campus orientation when the supervillian Scarecrow attacked as part of one of his sick experiments. Her hallucinations were of a wolf, it's form and face distorted in a way she could never really describe after that. It chased her, it's howls almost sounding like words as it pursued her mercilessly. She remembered tripping over something and it was on her, tearing her apart. As the terror tightened itself around her, a deep seated rage boiled up and she blacked out. Mette came back to herself holding a car above her head, preparing to throw it at an escaping Scarecrow.
The emergence of her powers led to an investigation from Batman where her entire life began to unravel around her. It turned out the necklace her mother gave her was enchanted to suppress her powers. Dr. Beltran was approached for answers, but she was no where to be found, with her house and practice ransacked. Further digging led to the discovery that Lorena Beltran was a false identity, with everything for Mette being excellent forgeries.
Faced with a past that didn't add up, Mette was faced with an certain future. When offered training to become a hero, she took the opportunity. Preparing to join other young heroes on a secret team, the newly dubbed Aurora prepares to throw herself into her new path, feeling it is likely the only way to find out what her mother kept from her.

Powers and Abilities: Findlay can't contribute much In the way of strength but tries. He was never taught any combat strategies before joining the league. However, he can provide a great distraction. He can glitch. Glitch as in trying to play a videogame with 200 ping. For some reason unknown to Findlay, his atoms aren't...solid. Meaning that touching him is like trying to touch a ghost. But over time, he gained control of it and was able to flip between solid and not with relative ease. There's a wall in the way? Not gonna be a problem.

Personality Traits: Finn never really felt...things. His dog was run over when he was 12 but he never cried. What was the point? It wouldn't bring the dog back. He never really noticed the dog missing from his life, and he continued on as if nothing had happened. He was borderline sociopathic, so along with the lack of certain emotions, he didn't understand people. Social cues were a mystery to him, and don't even get started on trying to comfort someone when they cried. (No like seriously, what do you do in that situation?). But, to add to the pile of problems, he's a compulsive liar. He often has a tell for the bigger lies, but the smaller ones are usually undetectable. Even though it seems hard to imagine that he has good parts of him, there are a few. Loyalty. When he gives his loyalty to someone or something, nothing will sway him. He would die before being disloyal. Because of the bad things stacking up against him, he tries to overcompensate by being generous. Expressing his feelings doesn't always work out the way he wants, so he tries to give gifts when he can. It always gets the idea across better than any words. When he does get his spark of feeling and passion, he can be extremely creative, but it goes both ways. Maybe it can be an escape plan or the best way to erase someone from living.

Short Bio: He never remembers his childhood. And not the kind of spawn-in-a-parking-lot-at-four-years-old-thing. His first memory is of waking up in a bed, presumably his bed, in a room that was decorated with pictures of himself and of other people that he had no recollection of taking. His favorite was of him and another guy standing in front of a beach. But they both look so happy that they look doped up. He looked like nothing in the world could ruin that moment. But he couldn't remember; who that stranger was or what the situation consisted of. Every picture in that room he had no idea the context behind it. For a few years, his memory would phase in and out. His mind glitched before he ever did. Only when he was 16 did his memory solidify, around the same time as his glitches started. He noticed it when the doorbell rang and he got up to answer. His hand passed right through the doorknob. His mother was standing behind him at the time and opened the door after his failed attempt. She hadn't been scared, which was strange in the present, and looking back to it. She had never asked him about it. But after that, Findlay saw more government people in the town of Paradise than he'd seen in his whole 16 years of living. Well, they looked like government people. They never wore any badges or drove police cars, but they had a certain aura about them. The watching went on for a few weeks and the glitching got worse and worse. It would happen more and more and would stay for longer and longer. One night he woke up, hearing his mother talking to someone in the kitchen. He had held his breath, listening. She was telling whomever it was about him. The whole conversation was muffled but heard something about trial 3 had finally worked. That I was stable, more or less, and I didn't remember. He took nothing but the clothes on his back and snuck out through his window. He ran and ran until he made it to a house in the middle of nowhere. He hunkered down until he was miraculously found by someone who was looking for him and not to kill him. He didn't join the team because he love people, he did it because he didn't know what else to do.

Extra: He doesn't wear a specific outfit like most superheroes, but can constantly be seen wearing cargo pants and sweatshirts. He chooses comfort over a classy public image any time he is given the chance.

Powers and Abilities:
-Electromagnetic Manipulation: Virgil can control and manipulate electricity and magnetic fields in a limited capacity. He can bend various strong metals, such and steel, and can even lift up a compact car if necessary. He also uses magnetic repulsion to fly, whilst using a specially designed disk.

-Electrical Absorption: Virgil can absorb electricity from his surroundings, using it to enhance his own electrical field, creating barriers. He can also channel it into electrical blasts from his hands. The limits of his ability to absorb have not fully been tested, as he tends to try not to draw too much power for field it would overload and leave a bad mess.

-Genius Level Intellect: Despite growing up in a poor environment, Virgil possesses a razor sharp mind and an enjoyment of the sciences, though he often told his father he preferred literature. This means he picks things up quickly and has also led to the creation of many devices to aid him in his heroic endeavors.

-Empathetic: Virgil tries to see from the perspective of the other person as best he can. He learned that skill from his father, a counselor in his home town of Dakota, as well as trying to honor the memory of his mother.

-Jokester: Virgil is quick with a joke, and tends to use them to keep the outside world out. It's a barrier he created after becoming Static, never knowing who he can trust in a world full of powered people, most of whom seem out for themselves.

-Loyal: Virgil has always done his best to stand up for the people he is loyal to. It may take a while to earn his loyalty and his trust, but once you have it, it is typically yours for life.

-Closed off: While Virgil can be quick with a smile or a joke, and doesn't seem cold, getting to know the real him takes time. It takes an actual investment. Gaining powers made Virgil more serious about protecting his feelings than he might otherwise have been.

-Thoughtless: While Virgil does his best to be empathetic, his mouth can sometimes run off ahead of his brain, and the result can be hurt feelings or even the presumption of disrespect. It has led some of the heroes he has come into contact with to think that he doesn't have a brain in his head, even though he is a fairly bright person.

-Nosy: Virgil likes to get to the heart of matters, and sometimes oversteps societal norms in his pursuit of the truth. It's cost him a few friendships over the years, though at times it has saved his life, as knowing something he shouldn't as Virgil has been very helpful to Static. Still, it is definitely something he is working on getting better at.

Reason For Joining the Team: Virgil has worked as a solo act for a few years now, and so far it has worked out okay for him. But he feels okay is no longer good enough. He wants to do more, be more. So when he received his letter, he thought it about it a lot. He had almost turned it down, until he found out Robin, who he had worked with previously, was joining as well. If it was good enough for Batman's protégé, it was good enough for Static.

Short Bio: Virgil Hawkins grew up in a poor neighborhood in a poor city. He was raised by loving parents, until one night his mother, a police officer went off on a call and was shot and killed by a local gang. His father, left to raise him on his own did his best to teach him how to be a good person, and for the most part he was. Still, one night a friend who had protected him from a long time bully came to call in the favor. He pressured Virgil into taking a gun down to the docks to help in a turf war. In the middle of a hostile environment, Virgil panicked and tried to run, just as the police arrived. They fired a new type of tear gas into the crowd, which combusted. Coughing, half blind and deaf, Virgil managed to stagger home and get some sleep. In the morning, he found himself able to control both electricity and magnetism, and the hero Static was born. For three years he battles threats from other Bang Babies, individuals who had been exposed to the same gas he had been and given powers just as fantastical. He had a few teams up and he did his best to keep the city of Dakota as safe as he could. He made some allies, both in Dakota and throughout the League, and has a small name for himself in the superhero community. When he received his letter, he spent days wondering if he should go. It took a call from one of his heroic acquaintances, the boy wonder himself, to inspire him to head for California.
