Full Name: Lucas Ezra Knight

Alias: Talon

Age: 17

Team Member they're replacing?: Aqualad

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Species: Magically enhanced Human

Allegiance: Green Arrow, Tigress

Appearance: Lucas' countenance is a little imposing, at first glance. He stands at 6'2 and has a lithe figure that's lined with muscle but he's actually pretty light. His father was Puerto Rican and his mother was of Haitian descent giving him a light skin tone and dark brown hair with styled to a low cut. He has amber eyes and his body is peppered with bruises, scars, and a few tattoos, with a noticeable scar going across his right eye, though he managed to retain his sight.

Face Claim: Lucas Coly

Civilian Attire/Hero Attire: Given to him by the Wolves, it has a distinct camouflage pattern to give him the image of a military leader in urban terrain. The camouflage gives a tactical advantage: A mix of dark grays interspersed with dashes of navy blue enable him to remain concealed between the gloomy shadows of alleyways and rooftops. It functions like a military ops uniform. An internal harden shell defines it's insides protecting him from brute force trauma, basic piecing weapons (switch blades, daggers, etc.) and gunshots. Although, the latter works similar to a bullet-proof vest, meaning he'll feel the pain, but the bullet shouldn't penetrate if not at close range. This suit is also insulated against electricity and is flame-resistant. The suit is also equipped with two sets of extendable and retractable razor-sharp claws (a set on each hand), making Luke even more lethal in and out of combat.

Personality: (Again, not just adjectives. At least 4-5 sentences at the minimum)

Background/History:
The story of Lucas Wright III starts in San Juan, Puerto Rico many years ago. His father Lucas Junior, a Spec Ops agent, had traveled to San Juan while following a lead on a massive drug and illegal weapons ring. At the same time as this the woman known as Kairi Chanel, of the Puerto Rican Nation Guard , was already in San Juan as it's resident hero for lack of better words. Unknown to either party, the two had cases that stumbled upon the same crime ring and were following parallel leads until the two eventually crossed paths. Upon finding out the two were going after the same syndicate the two decided to join forces, at least for a short time. Little did they know what would eventually become of this joining.

The longer the two worked to track and build a case against the syndicate the closer the two got. The teaming went on for several months, both finding promising leads from time to time. Eventually a year passed and the two slowly began to form more than just a working relationship. That year working together brought them to a point where the respect and trust that Lucas showed Kairi made her feel like he didn't view her as a weak little female and in return she treated Lucas like he wasn't the cold man he was known as, not just someone under the wing of the original. Time went by and eventually the tag team took down the weapons ring and with that done the two actually took the time to think about what had occurred over their time together. Two years spent side by side and the two agreed their feelings were indeed very mutual. Soon after, however, something came up that would change their lives forever. The two were planning to go to the states for a time but only a week before they were meant to leave Kairi approached Lucas with some interesting news. She had become pregnant with their son. Lucas was a mix of emotions but eventually settled on happy, though he wasn't sure how well his father would take the information, so early in his life. However, the two decided to move to Gotham and would play it by ear from there. After young Lucas was born things seemed to be rather normal. However, when he was 4 years old, his parents began his training in the martial arts. While they didn't admit it to him they wanted to start early on the off chance any of their many enemies decided to try and come after him when he was older. As he grew older his skills in martial arts grew as well. He was a natural student and this was only compounded with his intellect. The two parents were proud of the young Lucas and they saw only great things for him.

Around the age of 6, once Lucas felt he was old enough, the young Lucas began learning how to work with a martial arts. As with his father and Grandfather, the boy was a natural and took to the skills easily. Lucas loved his life and between training and school he would spend time outside playing and keeping his fitness up, even if he didn't know it at the time. Life went on and Lucas soon found himself testing out of grades in school, managing to make his way into high school at the age of 12. Taking all of the Honors courses he could and even some of the more advanced pre-college courses Luke set himself on a path to not only graduate by 16. Which was when his life flipped into a downward spiral. His parents got into a were ambushed on their way to work. While on their way to meet for a debriefing, some assassins, disguised as police officers, began their attack. First, they trapped the SUV with their own vehicles and opened fire. That had failed by his father's connections supplying them by armoring the car. It was a struggle to break away but once they did it turned into a full on car chase, which ultimately ended in their death.

Before his mother and father's untimely deaths, his uncle on his mother's side, Ramon, had given Lucas his ring, which represented the wolves head, and address book and a note with instructions; sending him to Chicago, telling him to search for Ezra, Luke's uncle. He then used the address book his uncle gave him and goes to the Command Center. Lucas hands out the information they were looking for to help with the investigation. In exchange for this, he takes the first flight out to Chicago. At the airport, Department of Social Services guides him throughout the hallways and such, Lucas loses them in the crowd to find his uncle. Upon meeting his uncle in a hide-out, they hug each other with tears rolling down from their eyes in remembrance of what they both just lost. Two days later after Luke settled in, Lucas and his uncle, Ezra, talk about Luke's dreams. Luke gave an awkward request for a teenager to his uncle; he wanted him to help him get revenge. There were so many families broken, he'd make it so no child would go to sleep at night wondering where their dad or mom or siblings were. After meeting his uncle agreed, he then met Abraham, the Grandmaster of the Wolves. Abraham treated Luke as his own grandchild, for he'd never had his own, and in four years he groomed that lonely child into a man. They trained him in the arts of hand to hand combat, swordsmanship, marksmanship, stealth and killing in both the quickest and most discreet methods and the most painful and drawn out ways.

During his training, as was tradition he changed his name as well, most cases he's still Lucas Wright, other times he's known as "El Caballero Fantasma" the Ghost Knight. They told him that they formed to help people struggling with negative emotions such as anger, death and pain and help them forge it into something new. And that's exactly what Lucas was made of. He hated whoever killed his parents, he was consumed in the pain of their death and with a passion and chose to build himself to be stronger, faster and smarter to be able to defend himself from him. By 17, Luke finished his training in his new home. For to be a advanced combatant, you must filled with mental and physical prowess. During his time with the Wolf Pack, he'd gotten highly advanced in psychology, and learned metallurgy from the blacksmiths.

They were a family. His Uncle, Vittoria (his uncle's girlfriend), Simon (his close friend), Delilah (his crush/friend) Ricardo and David (though he and David had a love/hate relationship). He was deemed the youngest at the time and it was time for his rito de paso (rite of passage), and he left to pursue his own life before fully deciding to join the Pack. His relatives were ecstatic and as he was chosen to check out a college he was set to enroll in. After the visit, he went back to the Wolves, but this time they were under new leadership. Abraham was assassinated, and was replaced by David O'Bryan aka "El Ghoul Sombra" The Shadow Ghoul. A man who practically tried to have him killed on multiple occasions until Lucas was finally exiled under his vote as Grandmaster, for a claim that his near death experiences were on the fact that he was acting irrationally. And according to the code, when an Wolf had behaved irrationally on several occasions, the Council could call for a vote of expulsion.

The expulsion would include that the Assassin was stripped of their rank and exiled from the Pack. It was then when Lucas realized that he knew who El Ghoul Sombra was, and the fact that he caused the organization to go rogue, from the commonwealth of the original cause. El Ghoul Sombra was Lucas' rival in the Wolves before his departure for the military. Even though the two had paired up when they have needed a favor from one another, the two tended to be quite hostile when near each other, although this had cooled down since he left for 3 years. He became increasingly jealous of Luke when he and his girlfriend at the time seem to become close, making David act even more inhospitable towards Lucas besides the fact that Luke began to overshadow him in training.

The Council was seemingly protecting Ghoul Sombra's illegal activities when it went rogue under his management and began doing under the table murder for hire services. After he left he made a vow. To fix the mistake that allowed Ghoul Sombra to come into his reign. So he composed a list, the list was a compilation of the dirty business people who had ruined the Order. The List contains the names of individuals who are damaging The Wolves through various means, usually financial. It was later revealed the names on The List are actually corrupt benefactors that were leveraged to contributing to them or risk their illegal activities being known to the public.

The Wolves and now criminals now regard him as a myth, a legend of sorts, but he's definitely not a hero by a long shot. His story just now beginning to unfold but like all rumors the tales are exaggerated and don't have very much basis in facts due to there being no actual photographic evidence of the man in camo. All the people and criminals know is that he is some sort of warrior, a hunter that swoops in and protects the helpless prey from predators. He recently met Tigress, as he was about to make his move on one of their safehouses, and she stopped him. She seen that they apparently had the same background besides the fact that her parents aren't dead. Its been a struggle to get Lucas to see her, after it took her a while to find him, but they've made a working relationship.

Hometown: Gotham City

Powers [if any]:
The Wolves' Eye: In the Words of Luke himself, "Its an eye. An actual eye on a gold link chain." The Wolves' Eye is a powerful and mystical red/gold amulet in the shape of a wolf's eye that gives the him enhanced capabilities.

The eye enhances his metabolic functions such as the buildup of lactic acids in his body, giving him the endurance of an Olympian. He doesn't tire like the average person, able to push beyond normal limits in strength and stamina. He is able to heft upward to 3 tons, but his true strength lies in the force of his attacks. Often without meaning too, he has proven his physical prowess by ripping a car door off its hinges and smashing through brick walls without slowing down and once being tossed out of a fifth story window with the softness of asphalt to cushion his fall. There was also that time he was hit by a big rig and dragged half a mile before punching the tires out but that was more of a mistake on his part. Luke has proven to be a soldier who never stops by the ability to simply keep going, he has gone days without sleep or rest on rough assignments without a hint of slowing down.

To watch Luke move, it's like watching a reed in the wind; it bends almost unnaturally but never breaks. He moves and dodges with an acrobatic ease; graceful and talented he can put a gymnast to shame with his complex leaps and jumps. He is able to perform extraordinary feats with cat like reflexes, leaping great distances of over twenty feet and climb sheer vertical walls without losing momentum. Naturally double jointed, he is able to dislocate fingers to slip from cuffs with ease. Luke is unsure of how fast he can run, he has been clocked at speeds of up to 45 mph but averages around 35, it really depends on how short the distance to sprint and how much room he has to work up a speed. He's been able to run 20 mph, rather slow for him,but keep up the pace for well over half a day without rest. Luke possess heightened senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. He can pick up high-pitched frequencies the normal ear cannot much like a canine and has excellent vision like a hawk, able to see up to eight times farther than the average person and has little trouble seeing in the dark.

As his physical abilities have increased, so have his mental. He is able to process ideas and thoughts nearly triple the average person, working on the most efficient and fastest manner possible. Some might consider it a photographic memory as he is able to recite and recount information he's briefly in contact with. Don't mistake him for a genius though.

He has a temperamental healing factor, it's suppose to be instantaneously but tends to draw out to several days. Still spectacular in it's own right, it takes weeks what should takes months and days for weeks. Superficial cuts, scrapes and bruises are gone by the end of the day. It keeps him in top physical shape, immune to diseases and infections and he lacks the ability to become drunk, his system breaks down the alcohol too fast for it to take any effect. Highly resistant to hypnosis, drugs and gasses that could affect his focus and mind. This also works against his as he metabolizes painkillers and medicine too quickly to be of any use. She also eats three times as much as a normal person, needing the extra to keep up with his metabolism. His aging process doesn't seem to be affected by the eye, but he's still young and his age has yet to show.

Abilities:
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Compared to most of his brethren, his personal style is very distinctive. Luke has skilled several fighting styles, specializing in ancient martial arts. His unique style is both unpredictable and dangerous. His unique fighting style is very acrobatic and heavily attack-oriented, primarily utilizing powerful sweeping kicks, aerial takedowns and lashing attacks with hooked and clawed fists. More like Combat Parkour, though it involves elements of Muay Thai, Capoeira, Sambo, Savate, Western Boxing, Kempo, Escrima, and Ninjutsu can be seen most notably in his arsenal.

Stealth: His situational awareness when it comes to his surroundings and the tools within the environment make him an exceptionally capable when it comes to the art of stealth. While he isn't capable of jumping into a shadow and vanishing from sight, he is more than capable in most situations.

Escapology: He is quite capable when it comes to removing restraints, escaping from traps, etc. While by no means a master escapologist, he is more than proficient in situations where such skills are required.

Skilled Marksman: Luke's uncle taught him how to use guns and various other projectile weapons like throwing knives, balls, bolas, boomerangs and normal objects with proficient accuracy. It is not a skill he enjoys using.

Stick Fighting: Luke's used to wield a ballistic staff/verutum spear. This allows him to quickly use both long range and close combat techniques. He is highly skilled in different forms of stick/staff fighting. Using his staff he's able to quickly take out multiple armed soldiers in mere seconds.

High Intellect: Luke has received excellent education from his school years and tutoring from the Wolves and uncle, and thus has extensive knowledge of various subjects, which include Science, Mathematics, Forensic Medicine, Criminology, and Psychology. He is fluent in several languages including Vietnamese, French, English, Spanish.

Eidetic Memory: This is just another way of saying he has a photographic memory, something that has helped him in his studies and allowed his to have such a wide knowledge base.

Shield Combat: Though not a practical weapon, over time of training and experience with his unique shield, as well as his and its physical properties, allow him to accomplish amazing feats with the item. Aside from bashing foes and blocking incoming attacks, he is able to throw it with nearly perfect aim. Luke can hit multiple targets with the same throw by means of ricochet, and could even achieve a boomerang-like return effect, allowing him to strike enemies from behind or retrieve the shield without objects to ricochet from.

Weaknesses:
Although he is prone to forgetting it at times, Talon is susceptible to human weaknesses like every other human inhabitant on Earth. He experiences pain, both physical and emotional, and can be injured and killed by forces ranging from blunt force to knives, bullets, and explosions. Furthermore, because he is not a deity he will eventually die from old age. While his experience with the Wolves has made Luke Knight capable of strategy and patience, it did not make him impervious to acting on impulse. Luke has been guilty of acting on instinct many times throughout his life, even after donning the ghost mask and being the Talon. Unfortunately, this has often placed the kid in dangerous and unfavorable situations, often resulting in regret from the vigilante and an increased chance of facing injury or worse.

Luke Knight, behind his impressive physique and loud words, is a caring man whose number one priority is the welfare of his loved ones. Those who have formed a close bond with Luke have likewise become linked to his emotions. Should anything detrimental happen to any of the hero's friends or family, the vigilante would do everything in his power to improve his or her condition and make sure everyone and everything of use provides contribution to said friend or family member's betterment. As admirable as that sounds, it also prevents Luke from being considerate of others, specifically because the entirety of his thoughts are invested toward his harmed loved one. Moreover, if one of those closest to Luke has been taken from him, his emotions will cloud his judgement and make him open even to the act of killing, all in the name of avenging the person – or people – he has lost.

Though many wouldn't think it, Luke suffers from PTSD both from his own youth. While you may get the occasional happy story from him, he never talks about the nightmares, the smell of burning flesh and blood, being tortured, people he'd held tightly in their last moments. He still suffers recurring dreams, most of his own and occasionally of being back in in the mountains and it is best to not wake her as he's broken arms and collarbones of those dumb enough to rouse him. Luke has the rare flashback memory but so far has not let it interfere with his work and prefers to keep quiet on the subject.

Luke has dislocated his left shoulder so many times, it's prone to slip from its socket with a jarring force.

Luke has a survivor's guilt complex. Whenever he survives something where others were hurt or killed, Luke will become depressed and manic in his anger for a few weeks. This also leads to him becoming angered if someone slanders the event in question, and insults him.

Due to a training injury he has little no peripheral vision on his left side, meaning he cannot see out of the corner of his left eye. This puts him at a disadvantage if he needs to look to his left side.

Relationship: A girl who knows what its like to struggle within this messed up world. She doesn't take things for granted. As for her personality, this might seem stereotypical or odd to say, but she has to have an attitude. She has to be afro-latina, so make her a nice blend of both.

Mentor: Tigress

Other:
Helmet: The accessory that is normally located atop the cranium of the young vigilante. This needed piece of equipment can protect from most impact blows but can be broken down if struck with enough force. The lenses allotting the sockets of the helmet permit the former sidekick to be able to see potential victims in the dead of night, allow him to detect body temperatures, and permit him to visualize the other side of buildings that could not be considered transparent. The helmet also acts as a radio transmitter/receiver. The aforementioned is projected across the inside of his helmet's visor, giving off the impression of a ghostly and robotic figure.

Utility Belt: Luke wears a utility belt containing mission-specific equipment such as a first aid kit (containing tweezers, antiseptic gel coated band aids, bone and muscle pain reliever spray cans and antidotes for some toxins.), military cable, lock picks, grenades, and several other materials. He wears his utility belt low-slung, in contrast with more organized application of field equipment.

A concave disk about 3.0 feet in diameter, weighing 12 pounds painted in its familiar gray and silver pattern with a wolf's head design in its center. Constructed by Abraham and given to Luke, the shield is made from Titanium, Promethium, and vanadium. The alloy can absorb and reflect kinetic energy from impacts therefore making it nigh-indestructible. Nearly every kind of human weaponry can not even dent it, as bullets normally bounce off it. The shield is also strong enough to combat magic and mystical weapons. The shield's shape makes it a superb throwing weapon. It can cut through the air with minimal wind resistance. It is also able to bounce off solid objects, such as walls and floors, when struck on its edge and can be ricocheted off of multiple surfaces. It also makes a formidable and devastating hand-held weapon.

Collapsible Crossbow: A gift from Tigress, for his progress and restraint. Crossbows: He has begun to use a crossbow as his ranged weapon. They are capable of being folded down and he usually keeps them on his back, pre-loaded with bolts. Like trick arrows, Luke uses bolts that have a variety of effects. He typically carries grapple bolt, tranquilizer bolts, flash-bang bolts, electric bolts, explosive bolts, smoke bolts and EMP bolts

Personality:

Damien is, well, an over-content, over-confident, over pertinacious prick. He has no friends because he's too god damn stubborn to let anyone into his life, as well as too competitive. He has no thought of his actions, and sticks to his gut. Literally. He ust does the first things that come to his head, without the slightest bit of knowledge over what consequences it gives.

But, he still does care. A lot, he cares more than anyone can ever believe. He acts on his own accord yes, but mostly, he acts to help those in need. To protect those who he can not protect himself. But, mostly it just consists of his over-bearing craziness.

He's Impatient, a hot head, a pot boy, whatever you need to call him. With insane potential, but he has no idea how to utilize it. He's the type of guy to fight somebody over and over, regardless of the gap in power, regardless of injury, as long as he can prove that he is stronger. As he said himself, "Fuck you! Do you know who the hell I am? I'm the one who will transcend the Gods!"

Weapon Name:
Re Mira Ku'Ra, or, The Cursed Blade of the Star Clan

Weapon Looks:

His weapon, has the appearance of a black metal like glove, or patting over his right arm. Connecting to it, is a black chain, which can be extended, and connected to a sharp sickle like object that he can hold in his hand. He can decide to use just the glove/gauntlet, as he puts another one on his other hand for hard punches and attacks. He got his weapon from his Great Grandfather, a weapon passed down from Generation to Generation.

Powers:
Demon Physiology: Being half demon, he has the body of a demon. Making him extremely strong, durable, and fast. No, not just any demon body. A Star Clan Demon body. This makes his physical abilities insane in power, mobility, and over all anything. He's much stronger than an average human, being even stronger than most un natural beings.

Shinigami Physiology: Coming with his father being a God of Death, he can sense things. People, animals, living and nonliving things. Magic, etc. He can see much better than most people, and has the ability to enter any other Realm.

It shows up when he feels malicious intent, and gives him even more enhanced physical capabilities. As well as the ability to turn kinetic energy, into potential energy. Which in turn lets him take the energy from attacks, and strengthen himself.

Madness and Black Blood: Chaos and Black blood, madness, emotion, hate. His body is made of black blood, a movable and controllable blood of the Star Clan, of which is extremely hard. It makes him extremely hard to kill, and makes physical attacks almost useless.

Shadow Star: A form of his, it takes his black blood, madness, and demon body, and fuses it with his shinigami prowes, making a rather strange form. His hair turns white, and his eyes all dark, with red stars in his eyes. Black lines form around his body, and he holds The blade, of which allows him to manipulate Shadows.

Physical attributes, strong, fast, and master martial artist.

Full Name: Sarah Tero Pruinae

Alias: Previously referred to by Victor Fries as "Zero". Though recently changed her alias to "Ms Chill" or "Chill", although some may still refer to her former name out of spite or ignorance.

Age: 16

Team Member they're replacing?: Miss Martian (Unless someone else requests it)

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Species: Believed to be Metahuman

Allegiance: Mr Freeze (Former), Ice, Young Justice (Current)

Appearance: Stands at 5'6", with pale skin and white hair. Despite her suit making her appear a normal build, she is actually quite thin, almost as if malnourished. Often after extensive uses of ice-based abilities, her lips will turn from a pale pink, to a light blue, as if she herself is freezing.

Although she appeared old for her age at the time, she still appears the same as she did when she first gained her powers. Although it's hard to notice considering short time she has been using her powers, a keen eye would note that she does not age, her complexion remains exactly the same.

Her hands are completely covered in ice, and appear like claws, this appearance continues to spread down her arms, though thanks to Freeze, at a very gradual rate. (Similar in appearance to the hands of Icicle Jr, though more symmetrical, and very different in anatomy).

Face Claim [if able]:
4ad0ced885b81395ff6bc95e1599c6c6.jpg

Civilian Attire/Hero Attire: No matter what attire, Chill adorns a set of gloves made from a thin metal. They are removable, but she prefers not to unless in dire situations.

In civilian attire, generally seen wearing black, baggy, winter clothing such as hoodies, track-pants, and beanies, regardless of the season. She tries to cover her metal gloves with normal ones, but it just makes her appear to have large hands. Due to this, she often keeps them in her pockets to further protect her identity.

When working for Victor, she wore a simple silver speed-suit that covered up to her neck, which was padded with warm materials on the inside, but appeared somewhat skin-tight on the outside, along with a thick silver coloured scarf-like collar. Along with a simple silver face mask.

Now, however, she has altered the colour scheme to be similar to that of Ice's, but blue and black rather than blue and white, and her suit still covers her entire body up to her neck. Instead of a full face mask she wears a blue domino mask which straps behind a tight fitting blue hood.
il_340x270.744520354_91hj.jpg

Personality: A somewhat shy girl when interacting with Justice League members due to her past, Sarah is always concerned when using her powers, always afraid of the damage she could do, the memory of what she did to her parents constantly haunting her.
In conversation she generally attempts to be friendly, never really wanting to offend the other person,. Has a distaste for people making puns about her powers, though she's not immune to making a rare one herself in the midst of battle.
She tries to remain calm in battle to more easily control her powers, but can be easily put off and distracted.
Not really a leader, she does much better following another's strategy, but if she finds a way to turn the tide for her team, will use her initiative.

Sarah's story begins before she was even born, with her parents, Richard and Olivia Prunie. Renown archaeologists, they loved adventuring out to new areas, and rarely listened to warnings. This was the same when doctors warned the three month pregnant Olivia not to travel into the African jungles while carrying, but she had done this many times before without any issue, surely this trip would bring no problems. And as far as they know, it didn't.

As they ventured toward the center of the jungle, they seemed to be lost for a short time, it seemed like the area they had come across had been untouched by even the wildlife for perhaps thousands of years. As they dug around, Olivia picked up a strange light blue gem, which seemed to melt in her hand. Little did she know, it was actually absorbed by her skin, and laid dormant within her womb.

When Sarah was born, all was well, she lived an ideal life, with a loving family, and great friends. She was raised with good morals, and learnt early on how to live on her own with her parents often going off for weeks at a time. But she always knew they would return, and always felt she would hold her family above all else in life.

On her fifteenth birthday, however, when her parents came to wake her, a surprise morning breakfast easily smelt from rooms away, she embraced them, and all went cold. A short grunt of pain could be heard from each of them as the stopped suddenly, from where her hands had held them, they began to freeze over.

Panicked, Sarah ran around in fear, her set of draws, walls, everything she touched began to freeze over. That's when she noticed it, bringing her hands toward her face, small bits of ice on the ends of her fingers. She attempted to pull them off, before suddenly realising her mistake, however, she had not frozen up like her parents, regardless, she couldn't remove the ice. Rushing to the phone, she attempted to call the authorities, but that froze too. She attempted to open the door, but no luck. Creating a fist, she managed to smash the frozen over door, not realising that it wasn't just her mediocre strength that shattered it. With it open, she was able to call out to her neighbors, and finally, the authorities came to help.
Not that they could do anything.

Waiting in the hospital, constant questioning, Sarah was severely depressed, fearing the worst.
Finally someone came to give her the news. Her parents would survive, but they were unsure how long for. This wasn't exactly good news, in her mind, Sarah had killed them, and she didn't even know how, or why.

For a week she stayed there, numerous experts analyzing her, poking at her like some sort of freak experiment, all the while the frost continued to crawl up her hands, in time she knew she would be consumed. What she didn't know, was what it would do to her, and that fear of the unknown was getting to her.
However, all would change with a 'break-in' at the hospital.

That's what they called it, but it was more of a matter of the villain known as 'Mr Freeze' strolling through the wings, frightened gasps escaping those who saw him, but he knew what he was looking for.
Sarah was sitting by her parents side, coddling her hands, as she had done for what felt like years, but was only a bit more than a week. Her demoralized slump interrupted by Victor Fries slamming the door open. Sarah cowered to the corner in response, watching as the man in the suit walked over to observe her parents.

In a fearful whisper, she demanded he leave their side, but as his cold gaze turned to her, his expressionless face seeming to stare into her soul, he spoke up.
"There is nothing these fools can do for them." He announced, to Sarah's confusion.
"Tell me. What would you do to see them recover?" He asked, causing the young girl's ears to perk up at the question.
Sarah knew a small amount about him. She knew he was a scientist, that he was a villain, but she wondered, considering this interaction, was there more to him than just that?
"Anything." She confidently replied. That was all she knew. She would do anything to revert what she had done to her parents, even if it meant giving her own life.
A small, almost invisible smile came over Victor, as he held out his hand.
"Then come with me, no one knows more about their condition." He stated.

In her defense. Sarah was confused, and desperate. Following his lead, Victor led her to his hideout, and put her parents into cryostasis. There she noticed another woman in one of the tubes, whom Victor explained was Nora, and told the young girl his story. He was passionate, clenching his fist when he talked of those who had wronged him. This wasn't just a story to buy her trust, it was the truth.
Soon after he finished, Victor explained to Sarah that he actually needed her help. He believed that through her problem, he could find a way to fully cure her parents, as well as Nora.

Sarah accepted, and over time, helped Mr Freeze in his research, yet still attended school and the like as to not raise suspicion, creating the story that someone had simply stolen her parents, for what reason she had no idea.
The first thing Victor did for her was to create a lightweight gauntlet that would slow the cryogenic change from altering her physical body.
During their research the two of them found that Sarah couldn't just freeze objects, she could control the state of the ice, and even form it from thin air. Thus, Victor saw even more use in the girl.

He told her that it pained him to do so, that he too would do anything for Nora, and that for their research to continue, they needed two things: Equipment, and funds. Both of which a man of his status could no longer obtain easily without wasting years of precious time.
Sarah was of course reluctant, but she eagerly hoped to find a cure for her parents, and so decided the only option she had was to help Victor in his endeavors.

Victor asked Sarah what he should call her by during their first heist. She was confused for a while, before it snapped in her mind; if he simply called her by her name, others might realise exactly who she is, yet she couldn't think of anything fitting, the idea of an alias made her feel like some sort of... Villain.
Victor suggested the name "Zero", easy to remember since it rhymed with her middle name, and fitted the theme, but inconspicuous enough to have no solid link, and so she accepted.
She used the same suit she wore in the lab, along with a basic silver mask to hide her face.

At first the missions were few at a time, get what they need and get out, Sarah would often remain a silent backup as Victor did all of the work threatening those in his way. The fact that no one was hurt during these robberies, along with the spacing between them, meant that they didn't recieve a massive amount of attention for the first few. Regardless, Zero felt terrible every time, but this was something she needed to do.

Victor, however, found this only to be a reason to do more, to forward his goals, believing he was easing Sarah into believing this was the only way they could live. He would constantly remind her that those people they stole from only believed them to be freaks, they wouldn't put in the resources to save her parents, and they wouldn't put in the effort to help her. And for a time she believed him.

Mr Freeze aimed higher, the equipment he required being extremely valuable experimental items. These kinds of items were much more heavily guarded, however, which meant that the people in their way would need to get hurt.
Sarah did her best to lessen the damage they caused as they went, freezing her victims in a way so they could be easily thawed, and avoiding innocents. Freeze noticed this, and told her they wouldn't do the same, if the roles were reversed, but it didn't matter.

This also meant that the Justice League became hot on their tails. Operating mostly in Star City and Gotham, due to the research facilities located in the areas, they had a few run-ins with Green Arrow and the Caped Crusader on separate occasions nearing their capture.

One operation, in which they were stealing a delicate instrument from S.T.A.R Labs, they were escaping by rooftop, with Green Arrow in hot pursuit. As he leapt onto the high rooftop mid-chase, he didn't expect the strange kid following Freeze to turn around, freezing the ledge he was moments from catching. As he fell, he prepared his bow to grapple back up, yet a soft ramp of ice formed under him, which seemed intent to prevent him from a hard fall. As he grappled up, the two could be seen escaping on a ramp of ice, Victor's gun blasting a pathway in-front of them.

Victor became even more impatient with these heros, beginning to put innocents in harms way as to distract them. Although she truly disliked this, Sarah knew the heros would always save them, and no one had been hurt yet... Right?

The day of their capture was a day when Victor's ambition got the better of him. With the assistance he felt he take a whole bundle of materials from Wayne industries, what he believed would be the last ingredients he needed for the next leap of his research. Sarah had turned 16 by now, working for Victor for just over a year in secret, in everyone's eyes she was but a mourning girl, never leaving the house, her parents bodies even stolen from her. Everyone, that was, bar one detective.

Kidnapping bodies was never Freeze's game. What need would he have for them if he still can't cure his wife? The police and lab reports were clear. By now that girl's body should have completely enveloped in ice, truly a strange disorder. But what if Victor felt he could find something from this predicament of hers? Something that would require him to gather all kinds of materials and brand new equipment? And perhaps get a helper on the side?

The manhole enveloped in ice, before a powerful crash blew it open, Mr Freeze and Zero blasting out, throwing the bags into the well-placed van. Though Batman and his friend weren't far behind, it seemed his new thermal charges were more than enough to blast through the wall of ice Victor left in there.
Zero quivered at the thought, those glaring eyes as he would grapple down, catching them red handed, she wasn't sure what it was, but she feared him, and didn't want to spend the night in his interrogation room. Him and Green Arrow were just normal men, and yet the two of them were forced to flee every time, and for good reason.

Freeze became reckless, blasting open fire hydrants with his freeze ray, causing shards of ice to spatter into the crowds. Zero piped up, but was ignored, these distractions were necessary if they were to escape, the bat was too close.
Driving over a bridge, Victor's rampage continued, turning the entire surface behind them to ice. The cars swerved and crashed into one another, a school bus was beginning to run off the ramp, but the Bat and his companion used their utilities to save them.

A sigh of relief came over Zero, however, she could notice a small car from the corner of the wing-mirror, slowly verging uncontrollably to the side of the bridge, a young family inside. There was no time, the heros were busy, and she couldn't use her abilities on the move to that extent.
Victor yelled to her in confusion as she rolled out of the van, rushing toward the dropping car, and providing a platform for them to land safely on.
The distraction had caused Mr Freeze to completely overlook the roadblock set up by the authorities, causing the van to slam into them, the Dark Knight rushing over to subdue him.

Sarah looked on in fear, before leaping from the bridge, Victor had told her if this kind of thing were to ever happen they would need to split up for a short time, and that's just what she did.
She didn't know how long she swam for, it felt like hours. Finally she managed to lift herself up out of the water, she hardly noticed in the pitch black of knight, those eyes gazing down at her as she looked up. She almost had a heart attack, scrambling on her knees, gasps of fear escaping from her as she shuffled back away from him. He was alone, and she could only wonder what for, perhaps he needed information on exactly what they were doing.

"Sarah." The deep, dark, voice spoke up, moving toward her like a shadow. Zero froze up, eyes shivering at the sound of it, how could he know!? But instead of approaching threateningly, the Bat knelt down to her level, handing her a slip. He had learnt a lot about her during his investigation, and understood the strain the loss of her parents must have had on her, and what she would have done to get them back. But it was clear she never wanted to hurt anybody.
Soon after she took the note, he grappled away, vanishing into the night.

Sarah didn't know what to do, she was afraid, she couldn't just run, he knew who she was. She had no choice. Sarah followed the instructions, arriving at the location the Dark Knight had specified, with her costume still on. Batman seemed to be discussing something with a strange woman in blue, her hair white like hers, but her clothing clearly much more comfortable. He introduced the two, explaining how he had reached out to ice, believing she might be of some assistance to the girl, the wholesome woman happy to oblige.
"You deserve a second chance... What was it you were called again?" He asked, a slight smirk on the side of his face.
"Chill." Sarah replied, looking to the Caped Crusader, and then back at Ice. "You can call me Chill."

Her parents bodies were still cryogenically frozen, but were moved to a facility in Gotham, supposedly a wealthy corporation had donated toward the search for a cure for her parents, as well as herself, though the latter was kept secret.

For about half a year Ms Chill assisted Ice, in solo league missions as well as some work in her homeland and home-city. During which Ice taught her how keeping calm was a great way to master her cryokinesis. It felt good helping people, watching their smiling faces, rather than hearing gasps of fear, though some she came into contact with still knew her has her former self. This inspired Chill to brand a new costume, altering the colours and design of her previous one, though even with this some still refused to accept her as a changed girl.

When new recruits for the Young Justice program were being taken in, Ice thought it a great opportunity for Sarah to learn how to work in a team, as well as make use of her powers in a variety of different ways. Plus Sarah hated to work around Fire, whom was almost like a sister to Ice, so some time apart would without a doubt be beneficial.

Hometown: Star City

Powers: Hydrokinesis, though her powers are in very early stages of control. Most of her current abilities revolve around the use of Cryokinesis, which can be volatile and hard for her to control.

Able to create water from the air, assuming enough hydrogen and oxygen is present, and then bend it to her will. Although at present her abilities are only reasonably useful in a solid state, or ice. Due to her altered anatomy, Sarah does not actually breath, but rather absorbs water into her body, and then recycles it to give her body oxygen. This comes to be both beneficial and detrimental. Her body is covered in an extremely thin layer of ice which is resistant to physical attacks, including bullets and explosions. This ice causes her exterior to always be below zero in temperature, in turn emitting a sort of cold aura around her. Since she does not breath in the normal sense, she is immune to poisonous gasses, and can survive underwater for any amount of time.

Sarah is very creative, loving to think of things and situations in different ways, this correlates to the use of her powers, and finding creative ways to use them to her benefit.
Chill has a greatly reduced metabolism, meaning she eats very little, and can go for extended time without food.

Her hands, which are covered with a thick layer of ice, are immune to physical attacks, and resistant to magical attacks including energy blasts. Anything her hands touch are frozen at a rapid rate, which are then extremely difficult to thaw. She is also able to strike the ground to send ice through the earth to strike her target, freezing all in-between.

She can also adjust her body like the states of water... But she hasn't exactly practiced.

Abilities:
Physical resistance: Her icy exterior protects her from a variety of physical attacks.

Ice manipulation: Can conjure ice from the air, or freeze existing water, in order to attack her foes, and/or freeze them solid, as well as protect herself and others.

Water breathing: Does not breath through the air, and so is immune to any kind of poisonous gasses, and can breath underwater.

Frozen fists: Her hands, although freakish looking, are immune to physical attacks, and resistant to energy and magic attacks, so she may use them to block oncoming assaults.

Frozen touch: Anything Sarah touches with these freakish fists freeze at a rapid rate, which is most of the time more detrimental, but helpful in combat.

Water and Steam manipulation: Can control water and steam, however, at this time she has very little experience doing so, and almost no conscious control over them.

Weaknesses:
Somewhat inexperienced with her powers, Sarah often makes mistakes when using them, or uses them when not intended.

Does not have enhanced reaction speeds.

While she is not necessarily weak physically, she is not highly athletic, meaning she relies on her abilities for intense movement as well as power.

Her greatly reduced metabolism means that she can go for weeks without food, but she requires a great deal of breathable air or water to survive and use her abilities, as she relies on creating water to feed her body oxygen.

Her icy exterior, which helps to shield her from attacks, is weak to constant high energy blasts, as they melt her exterior, making her as vulnerable as a human.
Fire, and fire based abilities, generally drain oxygen to be used, similar to her abilities, so in enclosed areas fire weakens her powers.

Sarah cares for the well-being of her parents, and as such, may be manipulated if they are under harm, as she was originally.

She also cares for the safety of innocents, and will go out of her way to make sure no harm comes to them.

Relationship: Sarah has more to worry about than couples and romance, but... She is somewhat a sucker for chivalry, just the small things can make a big difference, although in the field of battle, constant coddling can be detrimental to the mission, as well as annoying. They should strive to use whatever potential they have for a just goal, that doesn't just go for hero's, but as far as they go, helping out others simply for the cheers of the crowd, or for some monetary reward seems pointless in her eyes. The best kind of man is one who doesn't demand admiration or even recognition for his actions, but rather performs them because they know what is right. Well, that goes for anyone, but this question is about relationships.
Oh! They need to be resistant to being instantly frozen! Right... Maybe a relationship isn't a great idea...

Roman D. Taylor
Monarch

Age: 17

Team Member they're replacing?: Robin

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Species: Peak Human

Allegiance: Young Justice, Bat Family

Face Claim [if able]: Mikey Murphy

Civilian Attire/Hero Attire:

The Monarch suit has a has been made with a black nomex fire-resistant, triple-weave Kevlar-lined material. It is an excellent protection against damage, and it's also electrically insulated. Instead of a black cape for stealthing, the suit is light sensitive, darkening when there is more light in the area. The current costume, a stylized color mixing camouflage "monarch" across his shoulders and extending to his hands, coloring his two middle fingers, over a black torso and legs. Monarch's costume is tailored specifically to his unique style of crime-fighting. As such, his costume has fewer body-armor inlays than Batman's, anticipating a decreased need for shock-absorption and an increased capacity for motion. ("Move more, get hit less.") Not to forget, the color mixing camouflage cowl in the form of a monarch.

Personality:

Roman is a righteous hero with a strong willpower and an ability to overcome great fear. Those traits are what make him worthy of becoming a great part of the Young Justice. Having a strong sense of right and wrong, Roman is guided by his own conscience rather than the general rules that most of the others on the team follow. One of his most notable traits is his refusal to admit defeat even in the darkest of situations, which has allowed him to achieve victory even in the most difficult odds. Despite his virtues, Roman is also reckless and arrogant. More than once he has left his emotions cloud his better judgment, something the Justice League have berated him for. Roman is also a ladies man, romancing with many women throughout his life.

Under his cheeky exterior though, Roman is definitely broken underneath and is heavily defiant on Bruce Wayne to be his father-figure. This doesn't lead to a pure obsession though their relationship is known to be very important to him. He's somewhat overprotective of Bruce and goes to great lengths to keep the man safe, even if he isn't his biological father.

Background/History:

Roman is the only son of Martha and Lucas Taylor. His parents were hardworking people in the middle-class of Keystone City and often worked late. Their relationship was far from perfect as he often felt neglected and unwanted. At the age of ten, Roman's father had been a part of a three car collision, ending his life on the spot. The family was affected gravely, forcing his mother to work twice the jobs. Roman hadn't even been informed as to why or how his father had died. His mother wouldn't even give him the details on where the crash had unfolded.

About two years after, Roman was forced to move in with his aunt Beatrice in Gotham after his mother committed suicide. Gotham was a dark city filled with hate and crime, Roman swore not to get infected by this horrid place but sadly fell into the trap. He'd been succumbed by drugs and gang affiliation and had various police confrontation. There'd even been a point where he had to go to court if not for his aunt's interference. Roman truly had been twisted, it just seemed like his whole world was falling apart before Jim Gordon had approached him. "You're a good kid. You've got heart. Start usin' it." Was what he said. Roman forever remembered those words and vowed to change, he had to change for his mother, for his father, for himself.

Roman began spending his time making notes about the various heroes and villains that fascinated him. He'd studied each and everyone of them, he wanted to do something out of the ordinary with his life, to help people rather than hurt them, By the age of fourteen he'd cracked the case, Bruce Wayne was Batman. All he had to do now was approach the man himself, he could be in need of help, couldn't he? At a conference held for one of WayneTech's newest invention, Roman had slipped behind the sheets and confronted Bruce his works as the Bat. Bruce rejected his charges, greatly disappointing the teen. He didn't stop there though, he continued to look more into WayneTech and the Batman weaponry for any similarities in technologies.

A couple months after, Bruce had approached Roman in his aunt's home, using the cover that Roman had been accepted into a WayneTech youth program. Roman was surprised though when the topic of Bruce's identity was brought up, he didn't know what else to say. Bruce came to him, scolded him and told him to back off. He was never gonna back off, he couldn't. He pressed and pressed and pressed until Bruce gave in and decided to train the young man.

Training began with the basics. Standard martial arts, acrobatics and advanced computer programming. As it continued, the training had become rigorous, dangerous and downright exhausting. There were points in it where Roman thought he would give up or at least die if he didn't. It took months before Bruce had gone off the radar. Alfred said he didn't know what had happened, Bruce had just disappeared on his mission to Arkham Asylum. Roman couldn't understand it, it was truly shocking as well as scary, too. "Go." Was what Alfred said he should do, prove himself to the Bat. Go was what he did. Alfred had given Roman the "Monarch" suit, Bruce had already prepared it for when Roman finished training but now had to be the time for him to don the mask. Roman set off to the Asylum, using his pure wit and training to retrieve the Bat as well as lock up the Asylum. Not only did he save Bruce but he saved the whole of Gotham.

Bruce saw this as a permanent spot for Roman, he'd been able to save him when he needed saving, why not do so on a regular basis? With that, Roman had been officially dubbed the Monarch, Boy Wonder.

Hometown: Keystone City

Powers [if any]: N/A

Abilities:

  • Acrobatics: Apart from learning acrobatics on his own, Roman has been further taught by Bruce Wayne. His level is almost on the same level as a gold medal gymnast.
  • Espionage: Roman is an adept actor and is bilingual(French, Italian, English, Mandarin) which helps him infiltrate various organizations and so on.
  • Firearms: Roman is an expert marksman and is highly skilled in the use of firearms.
  • Genius Level Intellect: Being trained by the Dark Knight himself in various fields, Roman Taylor is shown to have a naturally high level of intelligence, though not as high as Batman's own.
  • Tactical Analysis: Roman was taught in various fields by Batman and as a result, is a capable tactician. In addition to that, he is skilled in reading the body motions of others, using this skill to aid in defeating multiple armed opponents and anticipate an opponent's next move.
  • Disguise: Taught by Alfred Pennyworth in acting, Roman is proficient in the art of disguise. He was able to pose as Kid Icicle in Arkham Asylum and occasionally poses as Batman in his free time.
  • Investigation : Being trained by the World's Greatest Detective, Batman, Roman is known to be an excellent detective.
  • Martial Arts: Before even being formally trained, Roman possessed limited skill in hand-to-hand combat. After being trained rigorously by Batman in martial arts, his skills had improved greatly. He has even been able to match his mentor.
  • Peak Human Condition: Through years of extensive and intensive training, Roman has archived the peak of human perfection both mentally & physically .
  • Throwing: Trained by Batman, Roman is proficient in throwing objects. He has even done the same with the use of a gun. Roman has even fought against the likes of Oliver Queen(he's lost every time).
  • Due to his training with Batman, Roman is well versed in many melee weapons such as staffs, escrima sticks, and bladed weaponry such as swords.
Equipment:
Monarch-Suit: Monarch's costume is composed of Kevlar and a small percentage of titanium; it is bullet-proof and resistant to most forms of attack (explosions, blunt trauma, falls, etc.) It is also flame-retardant and insulated. The gloves and the boots are reinforced to nullify the impact of punches and kicks. Monarch's gauntlets have retractable metallic blades on their sides, reaching up to about thirty centimetres. The cowl is composed in small part by lead, which shields Batman's face from identification via x-rays. It has also an infrared viewer and auditory sensors. The cowl is outfitted with security systems (aggravating gas, electric blasts, etc.) like the utility belt. The mask is also a transmitter-receiver. It also has computer access as well as various hacking tools implanted.
    • Utility Belt: Monarchkeeps most of his personal field equipment in his iconic brownutility belt. It has produced plastic explosives, nerve toxins, monarangs, smoke bombs, a fingerprint kit, a cutting tool, a grapple gun a re-breather an various other equipment and weapons.
Weaknesses:
Human: Unlike most of the other's on the team, Roman is a human and is vulnerable to an array of attacks. Bullets, sharp objects and various other attacks have more of a chance of killing/harming him than they do the others.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: Due to the death of his father and suicide of his mother both happening so quickly, the mention of "parents, fathers, mothers" or his parents' direct names can cause him to freeze, act irrationally and do a variety of odd things, crazy things.

Relationship:
Roman looks truly for someone who can understand both his pain and sorry. Someone who can help make him truly himself, someone who can save him from his past. Concerning personality, Roman often goes for someone who has just as large a personality as his, someone who demands respect both in the field and on their own. Roman really doesn't have a type though, concerning races whatsoever.

Hero Info

GM_20150425_5555.gif

Star Eye: In both of his eyes, he has the fabled star eye, a trait of one in a million in the Star Clan.

Mentor:
Dr. Fate

Strengths:
Physical attributes, strong, fast, and master martial artist.

Weakness:
Overconfident and naive, easy to fall to tricks and illusions. ANd if he over-exerts himself, he may become paralyzed or brain dead, he might even die.

Your a bit OP my friend. As interesting as this character is, he's way too powerful compared to everybody else. So something has to go. And somethings need to be toned down so he can actually grow into his power. Especially at his age, it would be unfair that if they are sparing with him, or get into an actual fight and none of their attacks effect him.

I personally vote the Shinigami Physiology. It doesn't really blend well with everything to me. Or you can take out the Demon Physiology (which his strengths and weaknesses would have to be made before I'd accept it.) and keep the Star eye.

And at least give bullets on his history, it doesn't have to be completely filled, just give me a brief overview. Because I won't be able to accept that his father is the god of Death without explanation.

Full Name: Sarah Tero Pruinae

Alias: Previously referred to by Victor Fries as "Zero". Though recently changed her alias to "Ms Chill" or "Chill", although some may still refer to her former name out of spite or ignorance.

Age: 16

Team Member they're replacing?: ?

In conversation she generally attempts to be friendly, never really wanting to offend the other person. In battle however she might be prone to some sarcastic remarks, as well as a few puns.

If they get stuck in the desert? How would she fare in that? Does it work the same way as the fire does to her?

Anyboy-splash-970x545.jpg

You got a lot of empty spaces in the abilities section, thought you should know. But ACCEPTED!

I vote Kid Flash replacement wise....or Miss Martian.

If they get stuck in the desert? How would she fare in that? Does it work the same way as the fire does to her?

The desert would be fine since there's no absence of air or oxygen, the fact that the humidity is so low would perhaps mean she just needs to use more energy to breath.

The thing about fire, and why I mentioned enclosed spaces, is that it sucks oxygen from the air to fuel itself. She needs this oxygen to fuel her abilities, and so might have trouble escaping a burning building for instance.
Same goes for space and certain planets, if that ever occurs.

Oh, the code is so frustrating so I left it.

Then the both are you are good to go!

Fiiiiine, I'll just remove the Shinigami Physiology. But I'm keeping the spirit things.

And ok
