Realistic or Modern YOU are a ZOMBIE (HORDE)

Hey guys,

this is a group RP, Turn-based, Forum-centric RP where players lead groups/hordes of zombies to defeat survivors and grow their hordes (or see how many people they can turn before the horde peters out)
Players start with 25 "Thanatos Points" with up to 5 points being spent on their "boss zombie" and the rest of their points spent on basic shamblers or a variety of special infected.

Here's a sample list:

walker (standard zombie, moans) 1
Slimer (sticky) 1 point
Peeler (several layers fall off of zombie before dying a skeleton) 3
Writher (hard to hit in melee, scary, can get in small openings) 2
Berserker (can't be given instructions but very tough) 3
Pack Zombie (work great in groups and to a plan) 2
Grasper (long arms, can reach far) 2
Primer (Attacks alone or against isolated targets, kind of a ninja) 4
Superior Zombie (muscular and vaguely inteligent) 4
Retcher (acidic barf burns enemies and surfaces) 2
Rapid Zombie (Speed freak, adrenaline junkie) 2

Players then have options of various scenarios/locations where humans are present and the boss zombie comes up with a PLAN to get/eat the survivors. The GM(s) work their magic behind the curtain and you find out how successful or unsuccessful your plan was and decide whether to try a new plan, keep pressing, or disperse to find a new opportunity.

GMs right now are Beckoncall Beckoncall and Pat Pat -- if you've ever wanted to be the zombies in a zombie apocalypse this is your chance. People who are interested will get a list of zombies to spend their points on.

there will be a discord server for talking about plans and chatting only. The game will take place exclusively on RPN.

This sounds really interesting. I'd love to join.

Ok! here is everything you need to start playing: 25 "Thanatos Points" (up to 5 of which can be spent on your "boss zombie") and a list of the type of zombies you currently have access to (there may be mutations/adding/trading types later on) :

Walker (standard zombie) 1
Creeper (very quiet zombie) 1
Plump Zombie (take extra damage, burst when killed) 2
Bender (hard to hit in melee, can fit through small spaces) 3
Flasher (Can "Flash" it's skin open, revealing disgusting insides, causes terror) 3
Horde Zombie (weak but cheap and good in numbers!) .5 (half a point each)
Drizzler (Drools and flings acidic droplets) 2
Follower (Always follows instructions of boss and/or do the most seemingly effective thing) 1
Runner (Fast mover) 2
Icicle Zombie (Frozen and absorbs ambient heat, slow but hard to shatter) 4
Bony Zombie (calcified plating/fortified skeleton) 2

So... what does your starting zombie crew look like?

Just want to make sure I understand how this system works. When you say that I can spend up to five points on my boss zombie, does that mean I can make my boss zombie, say, both a drizzler and a bender?

Seems really fun.

Here's your list of zombies to make a group out of, remember it's one boss zombie for up to 5 points in combined powers, and then spend the rest on individual zombies of the listed descriptions at the listed point cost:

Talker (can say anything they've heard, or 1-2 word statements/commands) 2
Pudgy (extra girth, extra damage) 2
Horde Zombie (weedy and thin, but you get a lot of them for the points) .5 (half a point each)
Limper (moves erratically, hard to hit at range) 2
Crazy Zombie (unpredictable, don't follow instructions) .5 (half a point each)
Temper (power up when nearby zombies are killed, up to power 5) 3 points each
Acher (surrounded by a fever-giving cloud) 2 points each
Walker (standard zomble, moans upsetting) 1 point each
Boomer (vomit that blinds/swarms other zombies to target, explodes with blinding/swarm bile) 2 points each
Mourner (Moan like walkers, but are twice as distressing) 2 points each
Hurler (carry and throw large objects, move obstacles) 3 points each

I also want to join.

IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE!

Make sure you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS list the COST of your zombies along with how many of them there are. This will make it INFINITELY easier to track your relative strengths and refer to your powers. It will speed the game up. Listing the total value of your horde is also much appreciated. :D

First scenarios are up! Join the discord, hatch plans, and eat humans!
