(Note: Before all else, this is slightly based off of the anime Rosario+Vampire, but it isn't the same. It is inspired and influenced, but is not fanfiction nor canon [obviously.] Also, I started this for myself and some friends, but others are welcome to join.)
Welcome to Y?kai Academy, one of the two schools and sanctuaries for all beings supernatural, unnatural, preternatural, 'mythological,' et cetra! We give refuge to any and all creature or monster not welcome in the outside world. We've had vampires of all species, werewolves of all species, elves, demons, angels, fallen angels, arkangels, talking animals, undead, you name it we've probably had them. This academy essentially serves for a Y?kai beings (Not human) and there are multiple types of classes. Since this academy was built for those who are not welcome in the human world, this academy is essentially home. The academy is elementary, middle school, high school and college all in one! There are dorms for Y?kai to live in, and much more!
Y?kai Academy, situated above Japan, is the sister school to the American Solatium Academy. However, the location doesn't have as much of an impact on species as you think. Any and all species of Y?kai from all over the globe attend here. However, Solatium Academy is more school-oriented, meaning they teach you how to live in the human world. Y?kai Academy is more sanctuary-oriented, not only serving as a school but allowing you to live here forever. Y?kai Academy is in an area above Japan, upside-down, protected by a magical barrier only accessible by portal. It acts as a "mirror" world, albeit smaller than our world. The magical barrier is roughly the size of Tokyo, and its upside down. The barrier acts as a sky to both the Academy and Tokyo, but if it were to be destroyed, Y?kai Academy would not only be able to be seen by humans, but the lack of magic separating it from Earth would cause it to fall to Tokyo.

Written Appearance: Kuro has dark brown, almost black hair with matching eyes. He was born in Japan, with a Japanese mother, and as such has Japanese features. He always wears dark clothing, and while teaching he usually wears a suit. He also always wears glasses.
Height: 5'10" 5 feet 10 inches.
Personality: Calm, calculating, with a loud voice and a large mind Kuro is a good teacher and advisor. Due to his cat-like nature, he gets distracted easily and can go off-track sometimes. Though he is usually calm, if he gets angry he will definitely show it.

Dislikes: Water, being surprised
Weaknesses: Though it's not a magical weakness and will not hurt him, he hates being submerged in water and will refuse to be in water. Though he doesn't fear it, he hates being in water so much sometimes he will fight for his life not to be.
Abilities/Powers/Magic: His nails elongate and become razor sharp claws and can attack at high speeds. He also has an excellent sense of balance. The power of his nails can be really severe when he attacks. He can also see infrared light, allowing him to see in the dark. He can also track motion far better than a human, for example, if you watched an insect fly around you'd have a hard time seeing it until it landed. He can see it just fine. His sense of hearing is also superior to humans, as his ears are proportionately larger, and the shape allows them to pick up more sound vibrations. Also he can rotate his ears in different directions, so he can sort of pinpoint his hearing.
