Realistic or Modern Yellow (zombie survival rp open))

"Stop!" Sasaki shouted, staring helplessly at Jean."Please don't hurt them!"
"And why shouldn't I ?"doctor Freedman asked, keeping his eye and gunpoint on Lawrence.
"We don't want to hurt anybody. We only came here for supplies. We didn't know that the military would be here!"he exclaimed.
The doctor then slowly turned his head, still having Lawrence at gunpoint.
"We were sent by my commanding officer."said Lawrence, taking a step forward."There struggling back there. We could really need some back up."

Doctor Freedman stared back at Lawrence, than instantly lowered his gun."I can get you some supplies but you wont get back-up."he said as he walked back to his desk.
"Why not?People are suffering! Why can't you help us?"Lawrence asked desperately.Freedman then sighed heavily at Lawrence.
"Mr.Larewrence,I am afraid that that isn't in my hands.I am just a simple doctor. The guys running the show, however, can help you bring them here savely. But they won't."he said, emotionlessly.
"W-why not!"Jean stuttered.
"The guys at the top, unfortunately, are scared out of there minds.Even if they have the fire power, they would share it.They are too afraid to even leave Washington.Even if suvivors come here, they still feel insecure. That's why they imprison them and make me test them.If they see anything out of line, they shoot them down without a second thought.I even tried to secretly help some escape, but they didnt get very far.You know how scared they are?A child tried to steal bread from one of the soldiers and you know what they did? They blew her up with a tank!A tank!"He explained, clenching his fists.
Before anyone could speak again, there was a sudden nock on the door.Doctor Freedman then quickly hid them in the back closet and cleaned up the blood on the floor. He then straightened himself up and turned towards the door."You may come in,Commander Meyers."

The scared girl would peep through the closet, her hands stained with blood. Her heart was pounding, and it felt heavy in her chest. Her breathing was barely in her control, but at least she wasn't breaking down completely. She was hoping that the commander would simply come and go, but she knew how likely that was. She knew they might be in there for a while, but for their lives frankly no time was too long. She was using her small fingers to hold onto the door, pulling it closed. Despite all this she never took her eyes off of the commander.

After some time the commander left. The doctor came and opened the closet after the coast was clear. "One off the soldiers heard my gun and told the commander but I got rid of him. Sorry for shooting you," he told jean. "No hard feelings I'm just doing my job and the bullet went clean through you'll be fine. So anyway because I respect Lawrence I'll let you all go. Take this chit, Lawrence can use it to get supplies for the rest of you. We keep all the supplies in the truck parked in the yard. Once you get the supplies leave. There is a dirt road out of town that will allow you to bypass the blockade. As far as a car your on your own and if I say any of you again I'm throwing you in the cage. NOW GO!"

She would shuffle out of the room with her head down, and await the other three. She didn't know what to do now. She knew she probably couldn't leave on her own, she'd be killed within the first few days. Truly she was lost for words, so she waited to see if any of the others would do the talking for her.

As Jean limped out the door, she noticed the little girl. She knew what she wanted but was too shy to say it openly."Hey,k-kid?"she blurted. The girl's head then slowly rose up.
"I'm ganna need a crutch so would ya mind?"she asked, scraching her neck. The small girl quickly ran to her side and nodded in agreement. When she did this, Jean saw something like stars in her eyes.Jean hadn't seen something so innocent.Becuase of this, she ended up blushing unnoticingly but turned away before the girl could notice.

Back in the room, Lawrence and the doctor was helping Sasaki out of the bed."How are we ganna get out?"Lawrence asked as he unstrapped Sasaki's bindings.
"There is a Land Rover in the back of the building, aswell as a gate leading out of town."explained the doctor.
"But why couldn't others escape then?"
"The fist time I got prisoners out, they were blown to pieces.Turns out that every vehicle and personel was bugged unknowingly, info 'I' somehow got.The second time was on a bigger scale and everyone died as a result but it wasn't me who did it.Someone in higher command thought it was a good idea to let them run out and hide the fields.Either that person felt genuinely bad for them or was just downright sick, because they were immdiately hunt down after that. You know the why the countryside west here is so red? It's called the blood plains now becuase of that idiot. The only way oit is to ride just far enough out of reach and just make a run for it."he explained as he gave the keys to Lawrence. Before Sasaki left the room, tge doctor stopped him."If you want to know more about the cause of the zombifying, get me the files from the central Lab in Orlando. They contacted me awhile ago on their findings but now they've gone silent.Get me those files and I may be able to do something but it is your choice."He whispered as he walked him out.

Lawrence used the chit to grab as many supplies as he could while the others got the land rover ready. They headed down the dirt road out of town and just as the doctor said it was in guarded and they managed to get out safely along with their new friend. Sasaki told Lawrence about Orlando but Lawrence said that it would have to wait. They still had to get to los Angeles and get help for the people of bloomsbury plus Orlando was on the other side of the country. They would have to be a lot more prepared before making that trip. Maybe once they made it to LA they would be able to get the supplies they needed to get to Orlando.

Analia felt immediately safer with the three, and decided she would do the best she could to help them. She had always dreamed of traveling the country, just, not like this. She laughed on the inside. Who would have thought?. She simply stayed alert, in the apocalypse she now lived in, It was the only thing she could do.

Chapter 3
They made it to LA without any major issues. They drove up to the large steel gate that would allow them to pass the giant wall that now surrounded the city. The group became terrified when they saw the gate was open. They slowly drove through. "What happened?" Lawrence couldn't believe what he was seeing. The city was destroyed, their were bodies everywhere. "Look." Jean pointed out up ahead was another wall that looked like it was built in a hurry.

They approached the second wall and stopped. A soldier came up to the car. "Welcome to los Angeles. Please pull forward and head to the tent for screening."

Sasaki paid no attention to the soldier.Instead he looked at the once clean streets of LA. Countless bodies laid lifelessely on the ground. Most looked like Zombies but others still looked human. Both looked fresh. How did this happen? Was this recent? And the wall, how? These question ran through his mind and instantly put him in a blury state.Suddenly as he stepped out, a soldier walked up to him and shook him out of his state",Someone blew open the gate. After that they just came in swarmin'.Some wer lucky, some were not."he said, gesturing to the bodies."Now come on!Let's get you cleaned up!"he sighed, resting his hand on his shoulder as he lead him to the tents.

She would step out of the car, and look around. The bodies no long phased her, it was a sight she had to deal with for quite a while. Instead, she would stick close to Lawrence and Jean, frankly not wanting to get separated. She knew that if anything that was the most likely to happen. She wondered why anyone would do such a thing. TO endanger so many lives, but she thought about the situation of the world, and suddenly didn't put it past anyone.

The screening was pretty standard. They got asked questions such as where have you been? Have you be in contact with infected? Have you been bitten or scratched? After they were cleared a female soldier escorted them into the city.

The city was as if nothing had even happened. Their were people walking and talking to each other. Shops and schools. Gardens and parks it was just another day in here as if they were blind to what was going on outside the walls. But their was trouble in paradise. Lawrence looked down an alley as they followed the soldier through the city. He saw a group of soldiers storming some kind of house. Their was a lot of shouting but he couldn't make out what was being said.

"Rebels," the female soldier told them. "Is that how the wall got breached?" Lawrence asked. "No we are still investigating that but it is unrelated to the rebels in the city. Anyway here we are." They were in front of an apartment complex. "Welcome to your new home." She said. "The 3rd floor is unoccupied so pick any room you'd like. Tomorrow morning head to the broadcast building. Their you will get your new jobs." "We need to send evac to bloomsbury." Lawrence added. "Dont worry about that. I'll take care of it." She walked off leaving them in front of the apartment complex.

Sasaki stared at the building.Very...colorful, he thought to himself.

The apartement building had many sorts of art painted onto it.From fat-lettered words to cartoons of politicians, various forms arts could be seen. They all walked into the now still building.Even though the soldier said that the only the 3rd floor was empty, most of the rooms on the first floor were.Maybe people do late night jobs,he thought.
When the got to the 3rd floor,Sasaki immediately picked a random room and went in.The room was very spacious with one queen sized bed and an open porch outside.Sasaki stared through the glass door and saw a pool.

"We're definately staying here!"Lawrence said, also staring at the pool."One problem boys."Jean said unexpectantly. The two turned around in confusion and saw her laying on the bed."This is a 'lover's' suite."she purred with a mischevious smile. The two shared a worried glance at each other.
"So who's ganna keep momma company?"

The two stared blankly at her and then stared at the pool. They both groaned in unison and walked over to room next door.
"Well there loss, right kid!"

Analia would chuckle, and take a seat in the nearest chair she could find. She would rub her eyes, and throw her hair back. She was just glad to be out of Washington. Only just then it would don on her how tired she was. Before her new friends stumbled upon her, she hadn't slept for days. She would rub her head, and stare at the floor. Then, her bloodstained hands. She would stare for a while, saying nothing.

The night was quite and a little unsettling. It was probably the best sleep any of them had had in a long time. The next morning they headed to the broadcast building as instructed. A TV station converted into a military HQ. It already had all the equipment they would need to keep in touch with citizens and other personnel.

They were greeted in the lobby by lieutenant Vincent. Soldiers and people in yellow hazmat suits walked behind him in every direction going about their daily jobs. As they spoke with him Lawrence noticed two guards standing outside a closet. He wondered why they were guarding a closet.

"Greetings friends." Vincent was suspiciously happy. "I hope you slept well but now it's time to get to work. I have your first assignment. It's fairly simple. We are working with talenstarCorp. To create a cure. We have a product in testing now so your job is to go out and find volunteers to participate in our study."

"So you want us to being you zombies?" Lawrence asked. "No. We want non infected people. We will inject them with this vaccine which contains a small amount of the disease. If they dont get sick It works. If they do we will quarantine them until we can cure them. We dont kill infected citizens here." "Seems risky," jean was worried. "It is but it's all we have right now."

Analia sighed as she stared at the entrance to the school. Frankly, she never liked school, and doubt she'd like it anymore now. She didn't have a whole lot of time to clean up, which was shown by her still messy hair, and slightly red hands. She would enter, and keep to herself. She would feel as if everyone was staring at her, but she didn't raise her head to check. She simply made her way to her first class, and almost fell asleep. This is going to be a long day.

Sasaki felt a bad for the little girl. She knew she decided to come with them because she thought they were save and that they could protect her.But now they have sent her off to a school. He wasn't in school much in his life.Since his family's finacial troubles started after middle school, he never really got to afford any other education after that. What he did know was how terrible school was before that.He knew school in general was a nightmare for some kids. Some of them would get harrased by classmates or teachers. Some liked harasing them.Others just watched from afar.

He knew these three groups were the basic in all schools. No matter what age or instution, these were common. This even become a norm in most jobs.Unfortunatel even though Sasaki chose a simple job as a janitor, he was still in one of these groups. As a janitor he sometimes saw kids being bullied by the seniors to show dominance. He was then put into the third group without realising. He had to watch idly from a far.He had no power or say in the situation.A analogy of the third group.

He knew that there would be more things that would make things difficult for her.She had just gotten out of a literal prison! She came with us because she wanted to be safe but now we've put her into place that is no better. The stress and the pressure. Her parents just died! How would she even cope with it!
All these thoughts flew around in his head. Before he knew it, they were already at the entrance of the tv station.Sasaki then quickly shook his head and followed his friends inside. The next few seconds were a blur but he could have sworn he heard the words,"Get living subjects, human subjects..."
After that moment his mind just went blank. All the wheels in his head just immediately stopped. After a split second they started turning again.Much faster.
The words just flew through his head.Everthing else was blocked out. Then everthing went blank once more...

"I wonder how that little girl is doing." Jean said as they left the tv station with their orders. "I'm sure she's fine," Lawrence said "but what are we supposed to do? Just knock on peoples doors and say hey do you want to get injected with the zombie virus? No ones going to go for it."

Analia groaned as she continued from class to class, catching some naps in her classes. She avoided contact with all others, and simply didn't listen. In the middle of the day, she managed to exit the building, and just decided to stay outside, and wait. She wanted so little to do with school.

Sasaki didn't have any control over himself. He didnt even know how he was walking towards the car.It was as if some mysterious force was controling his body and he could only observe from a distance.Literally.
The drive home was plain.
He still couldn'y hear anyone voice.Only distant murmurs and a voices. He only heard a muffled,"before we pick up Ana..."and a,"forgot my licence..."
After that there was nothing else. The words just kept playing out in his head like a broken record.
He couldn't even feel any feelings nor did he want to.
When they got home, climbed out the car and marched upstairs. When we got to the room,he opened the glass door and walked outside to the porch. There he dove straight into the water. At that moment he could final block out the noices and clear his mind. For some reason the water was calming.Whatever tension he had previousily was somehow lifted from his shoulders. All his emotions then finally came to him.He screamed, cried and laughed for a while. All of it just came rushing out until he finally became calm again. He then opened his eyes to see the stary sky, shining above. Was I keeping all that in?For how long?he asked himself.Soon his vision began to blur again. This time however , was becuase of something else.He wasn't stressed but instead tired. He kept in everything. His thoughts. His feelings. All of it for a while now. After letting it out just tired him out.Literally and emotionally. All he wanted to do now was sleep and drift away into the waters. But not long after he was pulled up and reality came flushing back in like a tide.

Jean pulled sasaki out of the pool. "You shouldn't sleep and swim," she giggled. "Come on Lawrence and I are going over the plan for tomorrow." Once back in the room jean continued. "Like I was saying. How could they do this or expect us to do this." "But here's the thing," Lawrence stated. "This isn't like Washington. The people here are not being forced. They can participate if they want to." "But why not test the undead?" "I dont know maybe they ruled that out already. The point is they are working with talenstar and they have to start somewhere. Something is better then nothing right?"

Frankly, she had no idea what they were talking about. And she didn't want to know, either. As far as what she understood, there was a chance for a cure, but the testing wasn't going to be pretty. She didn't know what to expect; none of this was pretty. She had just finally gotten the last of the bloodstains off of her hands, and her hair was less of a mess, but she knew the chances that it wouldn't last long. She sighed, yet continued to eavesdrop.

Sasaki just shook his head at Lawrence's comment. He didn't agree with this at all and this started to annoy Lawrence."Well what do you suppose we do?Walk back there and decline? No becuase it wasn't an offer or a suggestion-it was an order!"he hissed.
Sasaki kept his silence but instead clenched his fists.Jean then stood up and put her hand on he shoulder. When he looked back, she shook her head.Sasaki the sighed and crossed his arms."Okay, so I'll help you guys but it doesn't mean that I agree with it."
Sasaki then walked over towards the drawer and pulled out two things.A paper map and a brochure. He then picked up a marker and sat at the desk.As the to loomed over his shoulder, he began circling big areas.
"If we're looking for candidates, we're goibg to need to ask ourselves : who'd want to do this?"
"Well probably someone who would be all right with putting their lives in danger."Jean said.
"Someone who aren't very valuable to the apocolapse."continued Lawrence.
After that their was a sudden realisation and the room went quiet.
"Like older citizens..."Sasaki said, continueing to circle areas. The two looked closer to see what he was circling. Before they could even object, he flashed a brochure.
'LA old-age homes'

A plan was set and the next day they set out to collect volunteers. They split up to cover more ground. Lawrence went to golden living nursing home, jean to spring meadows retirement community. Sasaki to red cross assistant living and since Analia didn't seem interested in school she was offered to go to south shore retirement home if she wanted to. Whoever they got to participate were to be sent to the broadcast building

She would collect a few of the elderly, as they complied to do the testing. It was likely her 'sweet' teenage girl attitude, as she acted and smiled her way through the retirement home, doing her best to collect the subjects. Once she had scoured the entire retirement home, she would stand outside, and wait for the three to come pick her up. It was a relatively simple task, but she didn't want to be there when they were being 'tested'.

Rob didnt like his position in this city, he knew if he was to be able to find his wife and kids he needed to be in charge or atleast be able to influence those who were, but for now he was just bringing boxes of supplies back and forth like he was back in the lower class. Even in the apocalypse nothing about his position changed. A man in uniform gave him orders to take a trailer of medical supplies to the military hq. He started walking to the truck where the trailer was being attatched, he hated this, it was boring, he knew that the people around him didnt really care for his safety but he did it nonetheless. Rob got into the drivers seat and when the trailer was attatched he started driving
