Realistic or Modern Yellow (zombie survival rp open))

Chapter 1
Backstory: Talenstar Corp. Has claimed to have found the key to immortality thus changing the medical world as we know it. This breakthrough would inevitably end cancer among many other currently incurable diseases. Once this new drug hits pharmacies and hospitals everywhere the only thing that would be able to end someone's life would be external forces such as a gun shot or car accident. After the drug was released and was a huge success talenstar released an over the counter version. The drug was in huge demand but years later began to show some extreme side effects. Everyone who had taken the drug died with both the perception and otc. They then came back to life but were now primitive and murderous and can spread this new mutated cancer through bites or scratches. The effects were slow but could not be stopped. The dead kept coming back to life unless they were incinerated. Talenstar claimed they were making a reversal drug but that was the last anyone had heard from them. In an attempt to save people before humanity was completely overrun the military built walls around major cities across the country. They then evacuated surrounding towns to the nearest walled city and would finally napalm the evacuated towns thus destroying any undead. It was a decent plan in theory.

Chapter 1: Bullets flew down the street. The undead have somehow gotten past the wall. Lieutenant Scott and his men were fighting them off and were going to try and set up a barricade at the bridge. It would significantly decrease the safe zone but the attack was a surprise and they lost a lot of civilians. They pushed the undead back and made it to the bridge but their were to many undead yet remaining to set up the barricade and they were running out of ammo. They thought this was the end but suddenly the far side of the bridge lit up and the sound of heavy automatic fire filled the air. Once the undead were clear of the bridge Scott could see vehicles on the other side of the bridge. They drove near and stopped in front of Scott and his men. People in yellow hazmat suits got out of the trucks followed by a man in a white coat. The man approached Scott and said something to him. Scott was outraged and did not agree so Scott was taken into custody by the people in the yellow suits. Five months earlier the town of bloomsbury was about to be evacuated to Phoenix. The military was using a highschool as their base of operations. The town was devided into six evac zones and the people began to follow the soldiers to their designated zone. During the middle of the operation the undead attacked in large numbers and the evac helicopter refused to land until the zones were clear. All the zones got overrun and the jets were already on the way to cleanse the town. The general in charge of the operation ordered that the outskirts of the town get bombed to try and save them from the undead hoard. The bombing was a success but a lot of people died along with the undead and the evac helicopter never returned. The remaining people now stayed in the highschool. Two weeks later a couple of soldiers from Los Angeles arrived at the school to tell the general that Phoenix had been lost and that they would have to evac to Los Angeles now. They were not able to send any transport due to a lack of supplies so the people would have to walk. The general did not like this idea and insisted that they would wait for evac. The soilders left to relay the message to the other towns that were not evacuated. Their next stop was Washington. Rumor has it that the military there have declared marshal law and made the town their own. What will you do now?

Sasaki opened his heavy eyelids and sat up.He looked around to see clusters of people around him.
He never seen those people before but the place felt familiar to him.
He memomorised the key features of the room to find out where he was.First there were a pair of double doors on the left side of the large room, and a single blue door on the right.Light shone from windows at the very top of the room and benches were placed behind him.Lastly there was a basketball hoop on both sides of the room, resembling a basketball court.
Sasaki put all the facts together and thought hard and long. Finally he remembered where he was.
He was in the school gym.
At that moment his memories all came back to him...

All the things he had seen...

Everthing that had happened...

All that he has been through...

It wasn't a sick dream...

It was really...

The zombie apocolapse...

The chatter of dozens of people filled the room. Talking about what they will do now, what they lost, where their loved ones might be but perhaps the most disturbing of all was the rumor that no one was coming for you and that the general in charge of the operation was refusing to leave and lead the people to LA. Yes it would be a long walk but would it be worse then staying in the wasteland that is now bloomsbury? Eventually supplies would run out then what will you do?

General talbit is in the gym talking to a few soldiers about something or other when pastor Thomas and vicar Eric interrupt him.

"Their are people still in the town who did not make it to the school. You need to send men out to look for them." Pastor Thomas pleaded.

"Absolutely not. No one leaves. We need to keep our focus here where we know for a fact that people are still alive. Unless you can prove that their are people in the town I'm not sending anyone." Talbit responded

"Sometimes doing what is right is not doing what you are told." Thomas and Eric left to go comfort the other people in the gym. Eventually they made their way to you.

"God bless my child. How are you holding up during this time of trial?" Thomas asks you

Sasaki looked up at the old man.His figure was very blury in the light so only some of his features stood out.
He wore a long robe with white sleeves and a pair of black, church shoes. He had a long white beard and wore a chained necklace with a small, silver cross attached to it.The old man reached out with his shaky hand and helped Sasaki up to his feet."I am fine, thank you, sir, and yourself?"he asks ,forcing a weak smile. The Pastor notices this and sighs. He stayed quiet for a while, then he placed his hand on his shoulder."You're hurting, aren't you?"
Sasaki looks at the old Pastor in disbelief as he shakes his head."Of course not, sir!I am fine!Just fine!"he says struggling to keep a straight face."No, you're hurting...We all are..."sighed the Pastor, gesturing to all the people in the gym.
"Sir-I-I-I'm-oO-kay!
..hehe....
Th-there-s-no-thing-"He stuttered before the Pastor interupted him."Its okay, my friend, be at ease. Its okay to mourn for the people we have lost but just know they are now in the hands of God."he says as he shuffles away.
Sasaski rubs his eyes, still in disbelieve but after he while of staring in to space for a moment,he relised that the old Pastor was right.Even though Saski wasn't much of a Christian himself, he understood every word the Pastor said.He has lost a lot of people ,and many times he felt like he could have done something, but it's too late. Those people are gone and there's nothing that can be done. The only thing that he could do was to keep living on.
He breathed in deeply through his nose and sighed heavily. He thought hard on what he would do next.He wanted to help people but he wasn't very confident in fighting. He kept thinking and decided what he should do.He made his way out the one of the double door and searched the halls. The halls near the entrances were covered in blood and piles corpses.Upon seeing this, he ran back towards the gym.He jogged past the crowds of angry and scared people and made his way towards the supply closet. He grabbed a bucket of cleaning chemicals, a mop and trash bag.
With this he ran back towards the messy coridor and did what Janitors do best...

Clean up...

People saw sasaki cleaning up and stared at him strangely but slowly one by one they joined in to help. The pastor and vicar stood quietly as they proudly watched everyone come together to clean up the school.

"We need to find her." The vicar leand in and said quietly to the pastor.

The pastor was looking for someone in particular but did not want to seem selfish so he told the general he was just looking for serviours.

The pastor did not respond. Instead his mind was wondering back to when the undead attacked bloomsbury. That Sunday morning the Sunday school students were performing the story of Samson. The church was able to raise money to get a live camel for the play but when the undead burst through the doors of the church the camel got scared and knocked over a candelabra thus burning down the church.

A soldier overheard the conversation between the general and the pastor and it sparked something inside him. The argument between the soldier and the general rang though the entire school or so it seemed.

"We cant stay here. We have to find whoever we can and leave this place." The soldier yelled

"Its to dangerous to leave no one will survive the hike." The general responded

"No one will survive here. We are out of food and water."

"Quiet, do you want to scare these people more then they already are? Transport is coming."

"No one is coming! And we cant stay here LA is the closest walled city. We have to try."

"Then you will try alone."

The solider left and headed to the entrance where the people were cleaning.

"Listen up!" He demanded. "We are leaving bloomsbury. We are going to do a quick sweep for survivors and head out to LA. If you are with me we are leaving now."

Sasaki looked at soldier screaming down the halls.People around him stared at the soldier as if he had gone insane. He thought about how him going could help a lot of people, even just a little bit but him going could also endanger a lot of lives. He wasn't much help there but keeping the building sanitized and clean, could help prevent deseases from spreading.
He thought for a while and decided to stay like everyone else.
That night he walked through the halls carrying the last bag of dead corpses. As he was walking, he heard someone crying from the end of hall.He walked towards the distant figure and it was suprisingly the rogue soldier from before. Before he could get any further the soldier noticed him.He immediatly jumped in shock and wiping away his tears.
He stared at Sasaki in disbelieve for a moment ,looked up then stared back at him with a scandalous smile.

"What are you doing here, cutie"he giggled softly."Were you worried about little ol' me?"Sasaki stared at him for a brief moment."Nope.Just came to take out the trash."he said bluntly as he slowly walked past him.
The soldier looked at him in disbelief as he walked further away."Wait!"he shouted, standing straight, staring towards the ground.Sasaki turned around to see the soldier crying again."I'm not crazy! There are people out there! Before this I got a message from my family, saying that they were still alive and okay...Thats why I became a soldier...It was to help find other survivors and...maybe my family...I want to the best for everyone...but...I...don't...even-"he stuttered before Sasaki flicked him om the head, interupting him."How could you move such a large number of civilians that far? You'd just make a walking breackfast for the undead.Wouldnt it be easier with a smaller group?Their more efficient and better to manage."he sighed as he began walkinh away."Does this mean that-"the soldier said with a hopeful stare.Sasaki paused for a minute then gave the desperate soldier a nod."T-thank-y-you!We move at dawn!"he yelled in delight as he skipped away.

The solider, whom you eventually found out was lieutenant Lawrence was born and raised in bloomsbury. So it's no wonder that he wanted to be part of the evacuation back home when the zombies attacked. Although once his helicopter touched down in the town to begin the evacuation mission he was never able to find his family. It was as if they left before the undead even attacked but he held hope and was determined that they were somewhere in the town waiting for him.

The next morning, once everything had cooled off and everyone was level headed again Lawrence was able to get a small group together. Amongst them included:

Private Abby: the fist woman in her family to join the military after a long lineage of military men. So she was very hard on herself and held herself to a very high standard.

Arrow: he didn't explain why he called himself arrow. All you know is that he is a very redneck sort of guy who lived out in the county. He doesn't seem trustworthy or very nice.

Jean: a goth young man who finds fascination and joy in this whole end of the world situation.

Jessica: former cop and freshly promoted detective. She never even had a chance to stretch her detective wings when the zombies attacked.

And finally you and Lawrence. Without further ado you head out the front doors of the school and into the world. It is very different from the cots and boxes that filled the seemingly safe school. It was quiet and dead outside. The ground littered with bodies and trash. The group head out through the school parking lot and down the street in search of life.

Everyone felt determined.
Everyone felt exited and ready for anything.
Everyone but one person...

Sasaki...

Sasaki felt stressed and nervous. He never knew that other people were coming. He only agreed because he thought it would only be him and Lawrance.
The dream team.
Or dream duo that is...

Sasaki really doesn't like being around alot of people.Whenever his around crowds of people, he gets dizzy and nauseous. He remembers that he has a phobia for it but cannot remember its name.
Even though the group wasn't as big as the crowds back at thr school, it was still hard for him to focus with his phobia.
He was so occupied with his dilemma, that he didn't notice a constant rustling in the bushes next to him.
Before he knew it, a zombie lunged at him and pinned him down.
The group turned in horror to see the undead creature before them.
Immediatly Lawrance pulled out gun and pointed it at the monster. Before he could pull the trigger, Private Abby stopped him."Are you crazy? You know how loud that thing is!?"she retorted, looking him dead in the eye.
Lawrance stared at her for a moment, then looked at Sasaki.
He struggled to keep the monster at bay.
Sasaki grew weaker each second but the monster remained constant.
The group found it easy to predict who would win in strength. The group eyed each other and slowly turned away to walk on.
At that moment, Sasaki's head was spinning. He began getting nauseous amd dizzy again. His head was getting heavier and heavier. In the mist of trouble he remebered what his mother always told him.
"Just breathe, just breathe"echoed her voice as he began breathing.
Everthing on the outside was ignored.
He felt at peace.
"In and out...
In and out...
In and out..."

After a while he regained his focus and analysed the task at hand. The monster was still growling repeatively at him.He searched the area around him.
A pile a rocks lay beside him.
If he were to time this right, he'd have to fucus harder.
"In and out...

In and out...

In and out..."

Immediatly he rolled up to switch postions with the undead creature.Using this advantage, he grabbed the rock and used it to smash its skull. The group quickly turned around to see him beating down the zombie. The group looked at him in disbelieve as he released the final blow.
The air grew silent.
The group was astonished.
Not long after, Sasaki stood up and looked at them.
"Does anyone have a towel?"he asked as a friendly smile appeared on his face.

After the rumble with the zombie the group continued down the road. Searching in the windows of houses and stores as they passed.

"Are you ok?" Lawrence asked as you walked. "I tried to help but Abby stopped me and everyone else just started walking away as if you were already dead."

"I see something!" Abby interrupted. Their was movement in the Cactus Rose. A bar that was down the road from the school and local favorite to the schools teachers.

The group cautiously went inside and found three people hiding out in the bar. Abby stood by the door to keep watch, Jean sat at a table and pulled a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and lit one up, Arrow went behind the bar in search of whiskey and Jessica began talking to the people who were staying there.

"We hoped someone would come and find us." A woman said. "We got separated when the undead attacked our evacuation group and we've been hiding here ever since. Their are more of us but they left to find food and supplies down at the grocery store."

"I'll take them back." Abby told the group. Jean and Arrow also wanted to go back. Seeing sasaki get attacked changed their minds about leaving the school.

Lawranace stared at Abby for a moment. He saw something in her eyes that he had never seen before...

Fear...

In all the months that he had been a soldier, Abby was his only friend. In all that time he had never seen her afraid.
He had seen her sad, happy and angry, but never afraid. This was something very new and not normal....

He decided to test his theory

Lawrance stepped infront her and looked her straight in the eye."Its okay, I'll take them and you can go on."he said, putting on a poker face.
"Wha?R-r-really?"she said with fear in her tone.
"Ya, its fine!"he said with confidence.
"B-But-"she stuttered.
"No its okay! You guys can go and I can catch up with you guys later so-"
"No Lawrance!No!"She screamed furiously.

"What!Whats wrong with you staying and going o-"

[Whack]

"Beacuse I dont want to!"she interupted, slapping him across the face.
"But all we've been through..."he sighed

"This-This isn't what I'd thought it would be....
I just...can't go on..."she said giving him a hug.At first Lawrance was suprised but imabraced her instead of getting angry.

After the fight , the rest of the survivor group returned and the Abby escorted them back to the school.Lawrance was sad to see his best friend leave but he knew that this was good-bye forever.
There was no telling of what might happen to them. From there on out the expected that death would arise from every corner on the way and moved on...

And with that the remaining group pressed forward. Leaving the bar and heading down the road toward the grocery store. The store was a little farther away and the road eventually transitioned into a highway.

Abandoned cars littered the highway and all that remained was the horrific remnants of events transpired during the attack. Bloody tire tracks down the road leading to a car that had crashed into a Jack knifed oil tanker. Gas was still pouring out of the truck, soaking the road and on the other side of the wall that separated the lanes of on coming traffic was a dozen or so zombies.

Lawrence stopped and thought for a second. "How will we get through?" Igniting the gas would be too dangerous and could cause the tanker to explode killing them all. Killing the zombies would take to long and could be to loud. The only other option would be to jump the guard rail and fall down a very steep hill full of trees and rocks which in itself also has its dangers. "What do you think?" Lawrence asked sasaki

Sasaki thought for a moment, the stared at the mob of undead."Guard rail."he said turning way.He was still couldn't forget the incident from before.Just looking at a zombie husk would give him chills up his spine. He'd rather get cuts and blisters from falling down a hill that go through that again.

When they got to the edge of hill, Sasaki turned and nodded at Lawrance. After Lawrance returned the nod, all four of them began to climb down.

The climb down was rough but things started to lighten up afterward. On the way down they could spot a river nearby. When they arrived at the river, Jean found a cave to set up camp. That was the first time in months that they were able to sleep soundly.Things were well and rested until midnight came around.Sasaki got up to get a drink of water but when he exited the cave he almost fell over.It was faint, but he could see almost a dozen zombies stalking from the trees. In wasn't long before the others woke up.What were they going to do?

Lawrence quickly silenced the group. The zombies haven't noticed them yet in the dark cave which gave them a few more seconds to come up with a plan. Lawrence looked around, thinking quickly. Their was not much to work with and they didn't know where the cave went or what might be in it.

Lawrence gestured toward the river. Maybe they could swim to the other side. Zombies can't swim or so he hoped. It was not the best idea but it was better then nothing. They slowly made their way toward the water trying not to alert the undead. Jean was the first to jump in but his splash alone was enough to draw the undeads attention.

Hearts racing the rest of the group ran toward the water. They barely made it in when there was a sudden boom and a flash of intense heat on their backs. Lawrence and the others instinctively turned to see what just happened and caught the aftermath of the tanker that was on the highway expoding. Flames and smoke consumed the sky. The explosion was enough to draw the zombies attention away from them. Lawrence wondered to himself what could have set it off. "Looks like we wont be going back the way we came." He said in shock

The group decided they were not going back to bed. They might never sleep again, so they continued walking until the river intersected back with the road and just on the other side of the river was the grocery store they were looking for.

As the sun came up from the east,a broken down city came into view. The group decided to come to the suburbs of the city becuase the houses were short enough to climb on to and to see the surroundings, so it would be easier to spot any danger.Taller buildings would be harder to climb and has a lot more space, which could house much more unwanted suprises.

The grocery store was the group's primary objective as it was the easiest to climb on to, wouldn't have a lot of space for many zombies and have atleast some decent supplies.

The group slowly stepped into the store one by one. Each one went into an ile to scout the area, while Lawrence gaurded the entrance.Detective Jessica was the first to find a zombie on the west side of the grocery store. The held up her gun tightly as she walked closer.Fortunately the zombie had already been killed and lying dead on the floor. She studied the corpse and found that its head had been severly damaged. She persumed that it must have been a baseball and analysed the wound more. She then searched the surroundings of the body and found that the blood under the head was still dry.She thought for a long moment as she stood there idly. She then quickly ran to the rest of the group.

When Lawrance saw her, she had a worried look in her eye.It was not too long before the rest returned. She shuffled closer to the group and stuttered,"S-someone h-had already been here..."

"The people at the bar did say that some of their group came here looking for supplies." Jean chimed in as he walked back toward the group. "The store seems empty now though. They must have moved on."

"Mayebe they blew up the tanker." Lawrance stated. "Either way we should probably head back to the school soon. We were not supposed to take this long looking for survivors." They never did find Lawrence's or whoever the pastor was looking for. Maybe they already left for LA.

"I know a quick way back to the school." Lawrence continued. "At the end of the road is a cemetery and on the other side of the cemetery is a lumber warehouse. If we cut through their then we will be right back at the school. So let's take whatever we find that we could use and get back."

Sasaki stood there quietly as the group continued their conversation. It was clear that the entire group wanted to leave...
Everybody exept for Sasaki.

"I-I think w-we should go on..."Sasaki stuttered from outside the circle of people. This had been the first time he had spoken up to throughout the trip.He has spoken to almost everybody individualy but never as a group. This is all becuase off his phobia for crowds. This factade everybody stand in awe and all had turned to look him in the eye.

"Sa-sasaki?B-but why should we still-"he stuttered before Sasaki's fists clenched."Becuase there are still people out there! We haven't even scouted the perimeter!Survivors could still be out here or even around the corner! Those people have sent us to find survivors. We owe it to those people who saved us back there!"he shouted angrily.

The group was shocked.

Sasaki wasn't the most talkitive guy, and sertianly not the most angry.

The group stood there in silence for a while. They thought hard on there situation at hand and what Sasaki had made them realise.
The stood in utter silence until the herd something rustling.
The sound came from the back ofbthe grocery store. The group held up their weopons and got ready for the worst.

Three people came out the the stores administrative office. "Oh thank god." An older woman cried.

"What happened?" Lawrence asked "why were you hiding in there?"

"We weren't hiding we were forced in there."

"By who?"

"I dont know. People in ski masks and bullet proof vests. They spoke Spanish I didn't know what they were saying. They took a young girl she was in her early twentys I think and forced the rest of us in the office. When they left their was a loud noise I think it was a helicopter taking off."

"A helicopter?" Jenn questioned "who would have a helicopter? They couldn't have been military if they only took one person and we didn't see a helicopter so they must have went south."

"No." Jean inturuped. "We are not going after a helicopter. They could be anywhere by now. We found the rest if the survivors let's head back. One girl is not worth all our lives."

The group began argueing about the what there next move was going be.Half of the group wanted to retreat back to base and the other half wanted to go and investigate. Sasaki ,however, quietly observed the tension between his teammates. He knew that they'd start fighting again but he never knew it would be this soon. This was the reason that he thought big groups wouldn't work out.
There'd often be imbalance in larger groups which would start some disputes but this was different. This one is more smaller so it couldn't have just been becuase of imbalance in the group, it was becuase they couldn't work together at all.

Seeing this conclusion, Sasaki looked towards teammates. At that moment they began yelling and shouting at each other.Sasaki, both irritated and tired, covered his face with his indle, left hand.He was angry that he agreed to come along on the mission, aswell as putting himself in danger.
He knew that this wouldn't end well and he had no one to blame, other than himself. No one made him go with them so it was his own fault that he was in this mess. When Sasaki pulled his hand away, Jean suddenly shoved Lawrence to the ground. Before Sasaki could come between them, he noticed something weird about Jean. There was a sudden glint of something in her eyes.
It didn't look like fear but anger and agression.Everybody had seen her stressed or a little irritated but not angry.
Jean ,realising what she had just done, stared at her hands and marched all the way to the back of the store ,speechless.
Sasaki, feeling pity for his teammate followed to atleast try and calm her down. When he got to her, she was cuddled up on the floor, burying her face in her arms.Sasaki ,upon seeing this, stared confusion. He would have never thought that Jean would be the emotional type of person. He always saw her as bold and daring but this changed everything that he thought about her.
Sasaki slowly walked over and sat beside her on the cold floor of the store. They sad there quietly for while before Jean perked her head up.
"I didn't-hic-wunt dis!"she shouted with a lazy tone.Sasaki was even more confused at her sudden calmness but then he eyed the empty bottle of the floor. "Don't-hic- worry 'bout it!I just took a sip!If I were still sober then I would've feed that child to some of our friends-hic-outside."she said lifting her head to the ceiling. The voth stared at the ceiling for a moment, enjoying the silence. After the sun went down the group started a fire to prepare dinner. Not long after the two began to smell the food from the back of the store.Sasaki, feeling starved stood up and turned to Jean."You want anything?"he asked.
"Just bring me another bottle and make it quick!I can get real b*tchy when I'm sober."she said, smiling mischeviously at him.
Sasaki feeling satisfied gave her a salute then turned and walked over to his share of dinner.

The group was gathered on the floor having a bit of a picnic eating their dinner. When Lawrence spotted sasaki he stood up and quickly pulled him aside to speak to him privatly.

"One of the men we found in the group here is a delivery driver. His truck is still in the loading dock. He agreed to take everyone back." He told saaki

"I think it will be best, they are starting to compromise the mission. I'm going to go south toward Washington and see if I can locate the whereabouts of the kidnapped girl and with any luck find my family as well. After that I'm going west to LA. It's the safest place we can be right now."

Lawrence stared at sasaki for a moment. "I want you to come with me." He said quietly. "The rest off them will leave tomorrow morning..."

Sasaki didnt look at him for a moment. He stared at the group instead."Are they going to be okay?I'm not sure if that would be safest idea or not.I mean-well- wouldnt it attract a herd of em?"He sighed as he got up.
"I'd give them an hour or so, just saying."He

Lawrence started getting annoyed. "Either way I'm leaving. I have a job to do and no one is with me so I'm going alone. They can stay here or they can leave and go back to the school but I'm leaving with or without you."

Lawrence packed up his stuff in frustration. He picked up his rifle and some food and medical supplies and hurried out the door. He quickly walked down the dark street frustrated and not paying to much attention to his surroundings.

Lawrence entered a cemetery. He thought it would be a quick shortcut. The cemetery gave him the creeps. He clenched his gun and looked back wondering if he made the right choice. "To late to go back." He thought. He remembered watching the movies where zombies came out of the graves but luckily this wasn't that kind of outbreak but the thought of it still made him uneasy.

Sasaki face-plamed and ran after him.
He left behind shovel and his flashlight, thinking he didnt go far.

He was wrong.

Soon a thick fog appeared around him.The more he ran the more he couldnt see. When he stoped he could barely see a thing. The only thing that was visible was the light coming from the store but it wasnt long before that disappeared too."Law-rence!Law-rence!"he screamed in a random direction."I am so-rry!Please Ididnt mean to hurt you.Dammit man use your head!"He begged."You can't just leave them!Yes you ahve a job to do but job also mean you have to protect people."
He wailed, staring into the cold void of the fog.Suddely he heard gunshots behind him.He turned and ran in that direction."Lawrence-I know you want to find them.I know you miss the.I know that going back is a waste.I know.
Its dam infuriating.
But think about others. These people have families too.If you could be with your family again, would you want it?"He pleaded as the gunfire continued."There are so many people back at the school who are waiting for their families. There loved ones. What if someone came back and told you that your family was alive but they instead left them for dead.Would you like that, huh? No.And you wouldnt do that becuase your a dam soldier.A blady soldier."he cried as the gunfire soon stopped."You have a job to do, bastard! You have a job to do."he sighed.
Suddenly Lawrence came into view.He was dragging his feet, while using his hand as a cane.Sasaki instantly ran to his side and helped him up."Got any shells left?"he asked looking at his gun.Lawrence hesitated then slowly shook his head. The two then stared back into the cold void of the fog.It was empty.
Suddenly they heard foot steps in the distance. It was one pair of footsteps that were getting closer by the minute. Not long after they could see Jean running towards them, shot gun in hand. The were releaved and happily walked towards her but then other footsteps could be herd.Dark figures started to surround them.

They walked slowy over towards Jenn, hoping they wouldnt be noticed. When they finally reached her, she lead them back to the store. The three were releaved when they got back at while Lawrence was busy apologising to the citizens for bursting out like that, the rest began planning a route for the drive back.

The spent the night mapping our the best rout to the school and the next morning the prepared to leave. All of them. The people filled the into the trailer of the semi vis the loading dock and brought more then enough supplies with them. Lawrence stood guard as the of the truck turned over. Luckily nothing came once the truly started up.

The doors to the trailer closed and everything was dark. They could feel the truck start to move. The drove and could feel all the bumps and turns but could not see anything. It was hard to tell how long they were driving for. The truck came to a slow stop. Then nothing. Then they could hear the beeps of the truck going in reverse. They could feel the truck back up. Then nothing again. The engine shut off. Then a long moment of nothing and finally the doors opened.

Lawrence stepped out and looked around. This wasn't the school. They were in some sort of warehouse

This was very suspecious to Sasaki. When Sasaki climbed out he immeadiately went over to speak with Detective Jessica. To his suprise he didnt see her there ,even though he was sure that she was the one driving before.Instead Jean was sitting at the wheel, slowly hitting her head against it."Jean?Where's the detective?"he asked in confusion. She didn't respond, still beated her head against the wheel."Jean!Jean!Where is she?"he exclaimed, opening the door."
When he opened it, he could see that all her clothes were dirtier and more torn up that before.Seeing this, he slowly stood back.He took a deep breath and asked her a third time,"Where is Jessica?"

Suddenly she stopped hitting her head and stood back up."She's go-ne."she said with a shaky breath.Sasaki then stepped closer to her."S-she just l-left but I-I."she continued, not looking at Sasaki. When she noticed that Sasaki had gotten face to face with her she panicked."It-It wasnt me, it wasnt m-me!"she cried in fear as Sasaki put his hand sround her waist. In fear she tried pushing him away but it was no use.She started hitting him when he lifted her up and took her out of the car.As he laid her down next to the truck, she started crying again.Sasaki then pit his hand on her shoulder and calmed her down. After her while she could roughly speak again."She j-just left.We w-were d-driving through the c-country road ,just like you s-said, and she j-just jumped out.I tried r-running after her but zombies just sorta start-ted appearing and I couldnt get to her."she explained, still quivering in shock.
Sasaki comforted her the best he could until she fell asleep. After pitting a blanket over her, he went to go speak to Lawrence.
Sasaki pulled Lawrence aside from everyone else to speak with him in private."Huh?What the-""No,dont!"he interupted."We need to talk"
