Backstory:
Clair was born in Dublin City. Clair was born as Clair, Gaige, O'Reilly, in the poverty-stricken downtown district of Dublin City and raised by an abusive, alcoholic father. One day, after fleeing from one of her father's rampages, she was arrested, beaten, and abused by a corrupt police officer. Upon being returned home following this ordeal, Clair shot and killed her father after he callously asked her for another drink.

There were apparently similar incidents between Clair and the police. Eventually, the assaults resulted in Clair losing her faith in God, leading her to believe that the police abused her because to them she was "just another little ghetto rat, with no power and no God.".

Needing some sort of escape Clair signed herself up for the military using a fake I.D that stated she was seventeen whereas she was fourteen at the time. Although it was evidently forged the military took her in and began training her up. With great determination and effort, Clair quickly took the militaristic life she was introduced to. Firearms were notably a speciality of hers. After six months Clair finished her training in Ireland and was by way of recommendation transferred to the American Navy Seals.

After finishing her training with the Seals Clair was considered an elite soldier with an unnatural ability to wield and fire projectile weaponry. Namely guns but upon further testing, it was revealed even bows became pinpoint accurate when wielded by the young woman. This uncanny ability drew a lot of attention behind the scenes and after being subjected to many tests unbeknownst to herself, Clair was admitted to a special program for 'Gifted Individuals'. In other words, the military took her skills to be of a mutant nature and she was passed over to 'The Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters' and removed from the seal team on a 'temporary basis' while the school assessed her abilities more closely.

This did not please Clair, not one bit. The school experience was torturous to her, she had spent the last two years proving her worth in the military and training to her utmost but in the end, she was dismissed because what? She was too good? What kind of joke was that! And what was with this whole posher than the queen herself school of learning? To say Clair stood out like a sore thumb was an understatement. Fortunately for Clair though she wasn't subjected to the school for too long as a personal mentor was quickly assigned to her following many confrontations she may or may not have had with both student and teacher alike. Who was her mentor? Well, it was a man by the name of Wade Wilson or Deadpool.

it seemed he too was being punished by means of this arrangement and while the two clashed time and time again they soon became 'good frenemies and learned quite a lot from one another. After a year of training Clair and Wade got into a huge argument over a packet of Twinkies and that very night Clair was knocked out, tied up and delivered to the Young avengers HQ with a note bearing a shocking resemblance to that of a church orphan offering. Ever since Clair has been working with the young Avengers, not out of the goodness of her heart but because the perks are pretty sweet!



Personality:
Clair is very competitive, sarcastic, battle-hardened, battle-hungry, loud, psychotically humoured, rude, misanthropic, easily-bored, and extremely ill-tempered. Unlike most, she is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way.

Clair is a merciless and sadistic killer, without a conscience, who will be more than ready to kill anyone at the slightest provocation, even unarmed civilians or her classmates. She takes maniacal glee in killing anyone she fights or in killing just for fun. She also has very little remorse for her enemies and many times have often tortured dying enemies for fun. However, she looks at it as doing them a favour after all Wade never seemed to complain about it or get in trouble when he did so himself. Whilst appearing to be driven by general bloodlust, it is suspected that Clair subconsciously uses violence as a dysfunctional coping mechanism and outlet for her deeply repressed emotional and psychological issues.

One of the ways Clair's subconscious pain and emotional scars manifest themselves is her aversion to the empathy of others or others trying to relate to her. People presuming to understand what she has been through or how it has affected her is a huge enrage button for Clair, causing her to react in a violent rage and also at times forces on her bloodlust and relentless state, suggesting the depth of the bitterness and grief her early life has bred in her.

I'MAHERO

Mutation-Induced Skills: When in a focused state Clair's eyes become stone cold and all her emotions vanish into thin air. While in this state,

Clair can achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets, with the activity in her brain centre for aim, accuracy and precision drastically improved. Clair need only to aim for an instant before she can precisely hit a target with a projectile.

Clair can judge extremely long distances amazingly accurately, gauging the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately. If a target is moving Clair can calculate the best method to hit the target. Visual obstructions like smoke and vegetation do somewhat hinder her ability to get an accurate bead on her target ( very little but it is apparent), and her intense focus on whatever she's shooting at allows for outside distractions to be silenced rather easily.

Clair can also compensate for environmental factors that would normally throw off her aim like wind, air resistance, gravity, and radiant heat (which distorts the image of the target).

General Skills: Clair is highly skilled with all types of firearms allowing her to perform great feats and benefit in far ranged combat.

Clair also able to operate all variations of guns. She can construct guns as well as repair them. she also has an expert knowledge of guns and handling them. Clair has excellent intuition on trigger-initiated, hand-held, and hand-directed implements, especially with an extending bore, which thereby resembles the class of weapon in either form or concept.(essentially she can tell when a gun or something similar to a gun is going to fire and also predict said weapon's projectile/s trajectory.)

Clair has navy seal training and as such has an excellent grip on hand to hand combat as well as enhanced endurance and an elevated pain threshold.

Weapon/s: Clair has an assortment of firearms in her collection however her favourite is a .50 calibre custom work known as 'Gae Bulg' and her one and only parting gift from Wade.

Abilities- Same as Peter Parker because he is a clone
Personality- Ben has a lot of the same qualities as Peter Parker because of being his clone but he does think he needs to prove himself to his teammates. Being made by a bad guy has been hard for him to grapple and he still can't believe it since he is a boy scout who wants to put criminals behind bars and wants to help his team members and bring out the best in them. He is not tough love like Kate Bishop and prefers to show love to his teammates openly and attempts to pep them up and have them bond together.
Backstory- Ben Reilly was a clone of Peter Parker created by Quentin Beck to fool Shield. It didn't work and Ben possessed free will and defeated Beck with Peter who had helped him figure out his powers and such. After his training with Peter, Ben had began doing his own vigilante work going by the name of Scarlet spider until he fell in with the Young Avengers because Tony thought that he was Peter. Ben went along with it and even when Peter Parker didn't exist anymore he still stayed with the YA and went by the name Scarlet Spider like his vigilante days.

Name: Kate Bishop / Hawkeye

Age: 19

Description: Kate is a Caucasian female with a small build. She is pretty but not stunning, and she looks very unassuming, all of which she loves to use to her advantage. Kate keeps her black hair long and like to dress in purple and sunglasses. She has the feel of someone who grew up in money, helped along with her expensive and fashionable taste in clothes and accessories.

Biography: Katherine Bishop is the younger of the Bishop family’s two daughters. Her father owns a successful publishing company, and so she has grown up in a well-connected and wealthy house. Kate spent most of her childhood feeling like no one payed her any attention, between being constantly held up to the standard set by her sister and her parents marriage troubles, and so she has grown into a very independent young woman. Kate has always been into physical activities and was recognized as a talent in archery and shooting when a young teenager. She did not entertain the idea of becoming a superhero, however, until the day she was attacked in a park and hurt both physically and psychologically. She told no one about the incident except her therapist and resolved to make sure that no one else had too feel helpless again, after which she sought out Clint Barton and made him help her with her training and hero identity. She has since joined the Young Avengers, at Clint’s suggestion, and was made one of the leaders due to her thorough training and ability to make solid strategical plans.

Abilities: Kate is an incredibly good shot and can aim accurately even while moving at high speeds. She is also good at stealth and infiltration and can track or follow targets well. She has also become knowledgeable in a few different martial arts techniques, though she blends them together when she fights and she can’t really tell you which is which.

Affiliations: Associate and protege of Clint Barton/Hawkeye. The Young Avengers

Personality: Kate Bishop/Hawkeye is a confident go-getter. She was raised with the attitude of someone wealthy and has since become skilled enough to back it up. Kate can be friendly and outgoing, but she is good at keeping her superhero and her civilian identities separate. Hawkeye is a tough-love leader, serious and level-headed, and sometimes has trouble letting things go, but it comes from a place of care and an unwillingness to see her friends get hurt. As a civilian, Kate is privileged and flamboyant, but still has a tendency to be closed off about personal information. Overall, Kate is competitive, loyal, realistic, fun, honest (sometimes brutally so), and a little entitled, and she firmly believes that if she trys hard enough, she can have the best of both the superhero and the citizen world.

I’m going to play double, if that’s okay, both because it will be easier for me to work plot stuff and because we might need a character without a dramatic backstory who can just, like, be an open friendly person to keep the team together. I’m using Billy both because I love and hate him in turns and because he has an uncanny similarity to a friendly dog, and so is useful to bring down tension between teammates.

Name: Billy Kaplan / Wiccan

Age: 16/17 (one of the two, I haven’t decided)

Description: Billy is 5’8 and maybe 155 pounds, so he’s easily assumed as the baby of the team. He’s an ethnically Jewish, New York native with the slight Brooklyn accent to match. He’s an animated talker that uses his hands probably a little too much and his wardrobe is strange mix of sweaters, oversized jackets, and nerdy t-shirts.

Biography: Billy Kaplan is the oldest of three boys born to Jeff and Rebecca, a cardiologist and a psychologist respectively, who grew up and renovated brownstone and a comfortably upper-middle-class household. His fascination with superheroes left no room for doubt when his mutant-gene emerged during a fight at school, and he has messed around as a crime fighter ever since, despite only recently gaining a semblance of control and understanding of his powers. He was selected by Tony and the young avenger program partly due to his powerful abilities and skills as a team player, and partly because of how powerful he could become and to keep him off of the streets/out of their hair.

Abilities: Billy can do magic, meaning things he wishes for come true when aided by his so-called spells. He has also demonstrated others, including the ability to fly to some extent, pyrokenesis and electrokenesis, teleportation, and knowing the location of someone as long as he already knows them, though the extent of these and how it connects to his magic is currently unknown. Despite all of his powers, Billy is a relative light-weight when it comes to superheroing due to his lack of fighting ability and how dependent his powers are on his emotions.

Affiliations: The Young Avengers

Personality: Billy is exuberant, excitable, and outgoing. He also suffers from anxiety disorder and self-esteem issues and so will only reveal these traits if approached by someone else. He is a very loyal friend and works hard. He is also incredibly stubborn, spontaneous, and illogical in the sense that he rarely thinks things through. He can be very emotional, which makes him empathetic and a supportive friend but can also make him quick to react and hard to reign in. Billy tends to never do things halfway, but has a strong moral compass and a compassionate core.

Despite this, the emotion of anger is strong for her, as she is known to have a short fuse--fury is the one thing she finds difficult to hide. Lorelei feels things greatly and pretends she does not. She can be snarky at times, and when one gets to know her they will find she enjoys the dark things in life

If not kept in check, Lorelei can succumb to a dark side, in which being brought back is a hard task

Biography | When Lorelei was born from Clea, in the deepest part of the dark dimension, the birth nearly killed her. It was not until she relented, and pleaded with her husband at the time, Stephen Strange, to get in contact with her mother—the Faltine, Umar—to aid with the birth.

Afterward, they attempted to take Lorelei back with them, only to be stopped by Umar, the faltine who failed to properly inform them about the instability of Lorelei’s soul. Preventing her from leaving the dark dimension until she had the strength, or else her half-mortal body would be torn asunder. Extending a proposition to them, The Faltine offers to care for the child until she comes of age, as she was still the grandmother as well. It was, of course, a plot to corrupt Lorelei from an early age—both Strange and Clea knew this, but there seemed to be no other way.

Her father never relented, welcoming many sleepless nights in attempts to uncover a way to safely retrieve her from the dark dimension.

Lorelei spends the greater part of her childhood in the dark dimension. A peculiar domain, dank yet frigid, composed of endless shards of other conquered dimensions. That is until her father, Strange, went to bargain with Dormammu when Lorelei turned age twelve.

Umar said the girl was not ready and needed to bask in the shadows of the dark dimension for years longer to be able to leave, but Strange insisted she leave with him now—as he was more powerful and had created a spell of protection for during the transition.

So, he uttered the words etched in wards, and after battling Umar, Strange was able to leave the dimension with his daughter, taking her to the Sanctum Sanctorum.

The black flame lies within the girl, marking her with faltinian heritage, her flame is slightly different—tainted by human blood. Dormammu made Umar lose the battle for Lorelei on purpose, knowing that the seeds of sin had already been planted and she should prove to nothing but perilous trouble for Strange and that the girl would turn on them, it was after all, inevitable.

A couple questions (some for plot and some just for my curiosity): do you want her to already be a member of the Young Avengers when the RP starts or bring her in as a new member during the RP? What does the black flame do when she channels it, like I know it kind of feeds her power, but what happens when she calls on it specifically? What are the potions for, like does she use them alongside the spells or does she just enjoy making them?

This seems like a very dynamic character and I like the way you’ve worked her backstory into part of her personality while keeping her human traits important. I can’t wait to see how she shapes the RP!

His powers/abilities consist of magic such as spell-casting, energy manipulation, telekinesis, levitation, energy absorption, energy detection, mental manipulation, psychic shield, illusion manipulation, transmutation, enchantment, necromancy, teleportation, and conjuration.


Abilities: Bilingualism. Lucian is fluent in Latin since that is the language his spells are written and said in.


Backstory (His back story talks about his weaknesses)
Lucian Harkness born son of Agatha Harkness was raised his whole life to learn to control his magic and use it for bad. By the time he was 13, his mother let him read the Darkhold. Instead of becoming consumed by the darkness and pure evil of the Darkhold, he used its magic and energy to enhance his magic to his will. Since Lucian is young, he doesn't fully understand how to control his magic all the way. He's so far only learned how to enhance his magic to his will but that takes a negative toll on him. He becomes temporarily drained and is known to pass out when he uses his enhanced magic for too long. He is fragile to the Darkhold's dark magic and pure evil so he chooses to use a more "weakened" form of his magic. His mother shunned him when she found out he was using his magic for good. She said he was a disgrace and kicked him out. Several weeks later Lucian went back to where his mother lives and stole the Darkhold from her. Now Lucian is the current owner of the Darkhold and is on the run from his mother Agatha.

Lucian now lives by himself in Salem, Massachusetts in the woods hidden from mortals. He lives with a black cat that attacked him in the woods that Lucian tamed and made his familiar. His cat's name is Salem.
