X versus X System

JRPG

Member Title
This will describe how the OOC mechanics work with 1 person against 1 person. This works for any system. Player 1 goes first.

Location: Player 1 and Player 2 are close.

1st Turn: Player 1 can only choose the Attack Aspect, and Player 2 can only choose the Defend Aspect. Player's 1 actions go first, and Player 2's actions go last.

2nd Turn: Player 2 can choose to either Attack, or Standby. If Player 2 chooses to Attack, Player 1 can only defend. If Player 2 chooses Standby, Player 1 can choose to Attack, Defend, or Standby. Player 2's actions go first.

3rd Turn: The system repeats itself, but with Player 1's actions going first.

This system will describe how the OOC mechanics work with two people against one person. This works for any system. Player 1 goes first, but it's still determined by whoever attacks the other individual. Player A will be Player 1's partner. Note: The balance in this system likely leads to the pair beating the solo player.

Location: Player 1 and Player 2 are close, but Player A is far.

1st Turn: Player 1 can only choose to Attack, and Player 2 can choose to Attack, Defend, or Standby. (Note: The solo player as all options available). Player A needs to move, if they want to do close range options, or use item, if they want to do long range options. Player A can Attack, Defend, or Standby. Player 2's actions always go first. (Note: Player 2 is not limited to only defend, if he's attacked)

2nd Turn: Player 2 can choose to Attack, Defend, or Standby. Player 1 and A can choose to Attack, Defend, or Standby. Player 2's actions always go first, and it stays that way for further turns.

This system will describe how the OOC mechanics work with two people against another two people. This works for any system. Player 1 and A go first. Player A is Player 1's partner, and Player B is Player 2's partner.

Location: Player 1 and Player 2 are close, Player A is far and Player B is far, whenever a battle with two pairs starts.

1st Turn: Player 1 can only choose the Attack Aspect, and Player 2 can only choose the Defend aspect. Player A will be Player 1's partner, and Player B will be Player 2's partner. Player A can choose to either Attack, Defend, or Standby while Player 1 does his Attack option. Most likely Player A will need to move, if he wants to attack Player 2, or Player B. Otherwise, Player A can choose any option, but if Player A doesn't move, he cannot use some options that require close range. Player B can choose to either Attack, Defend, or Standby as well. Player 1 and Player A's actions go first, before Player 2 and Player B's actions.

2nd Turn: Player 2 can choose to either Attack, Defend, or Standby (Note: When it's 2 vs. 2, all options are available). If Player 2 chooses to attack someone, the targeted enemy can only Defend. If Player 2 chooses to Defend, or Standby, the closest enemy can do Attack, Defend, or Standby. This applies if Player B decides to Attack, Defend, or Standby. Player 2 and Player B's actions go first, before Player 1 and Player's A's actions go in.

3rd Turn: The system repeats itself, but with Player 1 and A's actions going first, while Player 2 and Player B's actions go in last.
