December 31st 2000

On this morning, the modern world as we know it ceased to exists. With new technology and medical advances brought eager new scientists who were determined to get their moment in the pharmaceutical spotlight. A medication by the nickname of "wonder drug" was being created and sold in mass amounts during the winter months as this was the most popular over the counter drug for colds and flu. It treated a cold or flu almost instantly. No longer would humans slowed down by the struggle of such a simplistic yet bothersome virus. No longer would they have to slow down their daily lives to take care of the common cold. However, many consumers did not realize that the pharmaceutical company that produced this "Wonder Drug" had found...peculiar side affects in the animals they were tested on....Rabbits, which were the main source of experimentation and testing, began consuming their own flesh and the flesh of the others around them with just 7 days of taking the drug...On December 31st 2000...the human race turned on itself.
17 years later....
The world has changed vastly in the last 17 years. Not only did those affected by the "Wonder Drug" (which was now know as the "Wonder Bug" ; victims known as skin crawlers) turn on each other and begin feeding on the flesh of those around them, unable to control their urges; but those who were not affected turned on each other as well.

This who survived formed the first factions in the City: The South, The East, and the West.(The north is cut off from the rest of the city due to a wall built by the earlier founder of the factions, the North side holds majority of the Skin Crawlers behind its walls.) These factions first tried to live in peace, as its original leaders had intended, but time and the need survival does crazy things to people. The 3 factions fight and trade for every resource in the city. Each faction is trying to survive, but who is the strongest? Who will come out alive? Will they destroy each other or will the Skin crawlers do that all on there own?

So the factions are kinda like gangs okay so just think of it like that!

4. 2 paragraph minimum! (although I understand we all have those one paragraph days haha)
5. Character development is a serious must!

second, almost everyone in this group are people I have role-played with in the past and I can assure you that they are detailed! ^.^ 2 or more paragraphs are normally seen by all members here unless its an emergency of some sort hahaha! I would looooooveeeee to have you in the group!

Well, as dramatic as things get with my metal heart doctor
