NAME: Alex' William Wakefield
reed-deming-55ccb605-ab06-4259-8fe3-0c7844e2d8ad.png

AGE: 15
INSTRUMENT: Drums

PERSONALITY: Alex is a shy, soft-spoken and sheepish transboy who has trouble talking to new people. Most of the time he does his best to not draw attention to himself and just blend in or have himself go unnoticed, though when he's in his element be it at the skatepark or playing the drums his anxiety tend to just wash away and he becoming far more confident, with a presence that far exceeds his small stature. When he's comfortable around people he can be a lot louder coming out of his shell like he does on stage, pretty childish and enjoying the jokes, teasing and banter that he'd normally shy away from.
He's kind-hearted boy who just wants to hang out with his friends and would never hurt a fly. With his lack of confidence he's more likely to back down, or run away in tears than he is to fight back when he or his ideas are confronted. Despite this he loves being able to show off his music and talents to his friends, competitive and ambitious even if he's often not very vocal about it. Outside of his music he enjoys rollerblading, horror movies, art class, sweet foods, soccer and spiders. He dislikes spicy foods, math class, crowds, color pink, and doctors.

APPEARANCE: Standing at the underwhelming height of 4' 10" (adult height 5' 1"), noticeably one of the shortest kids in the grade. He has a head of short and messy curly-brown hair, and bright-blue eyes. Alex despite his attempts to work out and being surprisingly for his size strong he retains a very lean and shrimpish build. He passes well enough as a boy that you wouldn't have reason to question it beyond him being small and babyfaced. He tends to dress monochrome with a lot of black and white, always accessorised with a small pentagram necklace, and collection of bracelets on his right wrist.

BRIEF HISTORY: Alex has grown up as a middle-child in a busy household, his mother staying at home full time while his dad works at a local car-dealership. He never really fit in with his three sisters and tended to hang out with brothers a lot more. His older brother (now 19) was given a drum kit himself when he turned eleven but quickly lost interest in it within a year, meanwhile seven-year old Alex took to them like a fish to water and started praying them pretty much any day he was bored and stuck at home, much to the annoyance of his other siblings, and having played them in talent shows in elementary school a few times.
Since then with middleschool through to highschool Alex has been bullied a lot. At school it was usually always about his height, about younger students towering over him, about being in the wrong grade (recently calling him a middleschooler), being the quiet-kid or for being trans. Home life meanwhile hasn't been a lot better with some of his younger siblings being taller and being given hand-me-ups, to his eternal embarrassment or calling him little-sibling instead of big one. His parents ontop of this didn't approve when he came out with his 'choice' of being trans - a situation that frankly just sucks and forces Alex to run around and hide stuff a lot. He tends to spend a lot of time away from home, lingering afterschool school at a friends place, practice or at the skatepark just to avoid going home earlier than he has to.

GRADE: Sophomore

MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Alex is into a lot of Alternate and Pop-rock music, though he's pretty open to listening to and exploring new genres as long s it has a nice beat to it. Some particular favourites artists however Nirvana, Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne.

EXTRA TALENTS: Art & design (drawing cartoons, logos, posters, etc), Backup locals (He can sing, but not good enough to be a lead), Skating (not relevant to performing, he's just good at it)

9d7c7c7403f57d5f90daccdafc2465f0.jpgNAME: Kathleen 'Kat' Mirabelle Summers
AGE: 16
INSTRUMENT: Vocals, though she can play rhythm guitar if needed

PERSONALITY: Kat is reserved around new people and one will usually see her scribbling song lyrics in her notebook if she isn't hanging around her friends. Most people are very surprised at how fierce she can be when in front of an audience, because Kat tends to keep to herself and her little group.

Anyone who knows her on a more intimate level knows that Kat is a very talkative, supportive person, with a slight taste for risk taking. She's not above a risky dare or two. She is a laidback person, but also a perfectionist when it comes to music. She will not budge when she has a specific vision or sound in her mind and so she can be stubborn and blunt in those situations.

Despite loving the thrill of performing, Kat highly dislikes the spotlight and can be quiet and awkward when complimented on any of her talents. She is a huge nerd and is the type of person who would always hang out with her friends indoors if given the chance. This isn't to say she's antisocial, she just prefers small group gatherings that she can be somewhat in control of.

APPEARANCE: Kat's natural hair colour is dark brown, but she is recently in the habit of bleaching it blonde or dying it purple or teal. She is of just below average height and has a slender frame. One of her favourite features is the smattering of freckles across her cheeks. Her brother Archer actually nicknamed her 'Freckles'. Kat's dress sense is fairly casual and consists mostly of skinny jeans, plaid shirts, band tees and Vans. She will nearly always be wearing a long necklace of some sort with her outfits, and it is rare to see her in a dress or skirt (though they suit her well).

BRIEF HISTORY:
Kat was born and raised in Seattle as the first child of a young couple. Her father Austin, a musician and her mother Carla, an artist met at the age of sixteen at one of her father's band's gigs and nine months later, an unplanned baby was born, namely Kat. Fortunately, her parent's seemed not to be a victim of puppy love and remained together from the moment they met.

Three years after Kat was born came her little brother Archer. It was a little hard for her to adjust at first, but the siblings bonded quickly and became each other's best friends once Archer grew older. The children were raised to be just as artistically expressive as their parents and learned to play instruments and be free-thinkers and innovators.

Kat's first experience with singing was when she would sing along to Michael Jackson tracks at the age of three. It was then that her parents noticed she had a talent for mimicking the notes well enough for her voice to be rather pleasant. Her father had a bunch of guitars around the house and made his living writing jingles and being a session musician, so music is all Kat has ever known. She taught herself guitar with her beloved Daisy Rock guitar at the age of five and then went on to write her own songs for as long as she can remember.

Kat was not a fan of leaving her home in Seattle to start a new life in small town Recuerdo away from her friends, but she's hoping to make new friends there and perhaps finally realise her dream of singing in a band.

GRADE: Sophomore
MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Kat loves all kinds of music since her father had an eclectic collection that she was exposed to from birth. Her musical influences range from Buddy Holly and Ella Fitzgerald to Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Eat World and My Chemical Romance. Her favourite singer is Lzzy Hale from the band Halestorm.
EXTRA TALENTS: Kat is good at writing lyrics and has good connections to the music industry through her father. She is proud that her home city of Seattle has been home to some of the best musicians around including Nirvana, one of her favourite bands.

LIKES: Her Fender Stratocaster guitar, Foosball, Zombie movies/video games, Ice skating, poetry, arcade games, Hip-Hop dance, crocheting, learning songs on guitar
DISLIKES: Being told what to do, ice cream, school, gossip, wearing dresses, people who are snobby about music

Name: Riley Gray
Age: 16
Instrument: Keyboard

Personality: Considered to be trouble by most of the school's faculty, Riley is a nonbinary person who acts in an "odd" way, often purposefully saying things that don't make sense just so they can see other people's reactions. A lot of things that come out of their mouth are jokes and as such are considered a nuisance among teachers and a beloved figure among most students. They find amusement in playing pranks on their friends (harmless ones). They ease into conversations like they were always apart of them and are like a people magnet, always seeming to run into new faces that turn into new friends almost everyday. Underneath this joking exterior of theirs however, they are terrified of losing the people that do like them and ending up alone.

Appearance: Standing at 5'7", Riley has short, white hair (it's dyed) with a couple strands of their hair falling into their face. Naturally, their hair is blonde but they thought that was boring. Their eyes are green. They wear a red varsity jacket with white accents. Underneath it is a blue t-shirt. They also wear jeans and red converse shoes. They also have ear piercings.

Brief History: Riley was born into a family of seven, being the second oldest with an older sister and three younger siblings. They got along really well with their older sister (with a few fights here and there), their relationship mostly consisting of witty back-and-forth or Riley challenging her to ridiculous challenges. Another thing they bonded over was music, often recommending each other different songs they like. One day they discovered a piano cover of a song they both really liked and both of them were blown away. Piano lessons was something that they were already taking (their mother wanted them to do some sort of extracurricular activity), so quickly the two of them tried learning their favorite songs on the piano. But Riley's sister didn't pick it up as fast as Riley seemed to. Fearing their sister might start hating them if they did better than her with this, for a small period of time Riley made absurd excuses as to why they couldn't play the piano anymore, until eventually their sister caught on and said she didn't care if Riley could learn certain things faster than her. She could always work at learning a song on the piano if she wanted, and then she'd be better than them for sure. That last remark had made Riley laugh and that worry they had felt was gone (for now). Riley thrived on the piano and they played it for a while and learned how to play certain songs they liked on it. Until one day they came across the keyboard and fell in love with it just like they had with the piano. They soon switched over to trying their hand at the keyboard and the moment they did it felt as if their love for the keyboard could rival that of the piano. They spend a lot of time playing their keyboard that sometimes they forget about other stuff (like assignments for school). Outside the keyboard and music, Riley also enjoys playing tennis once in a while (because when they started middle school their mother was insistent that they pick a sport to play, but it kind of didn't last). They don't know if their any good at it, but they find it fun playing against their siblings.

Grade: Sophomore
Musical Influences: Riley likes anything really, but in particular they like listening to Dreamcatcher (they blame their sister), Radiohead, Portishead, and Hozier.
Extra Talents: Riley mostly relies on being able to talk to people (and talk their way out of situations) to get through life. They consider it a gift of theirs.

Likes: Their family, sending meme images into group chats (their mother hates it), every dessert ever, finding new songs to listen to, staying up late
Dislikes: Being angry, bigots, stubbornness, math

NAME: Addie Arcane
AGE: 17
INSTRUMENT: Lead guitar

PERSONALITY: Addie is generally a ball of energy making him highly outgoing and extroverted. As a child, he was an absolute wild child and from then on nothing has changed except for chaos has been added to the mixture. At times people struggle to keep up with Addie since he is oblivious to the meaning of slowing it down. He possesses extraordinary compassion and seeks to be of service to others more than he pays attention to his own needs. Addie's drive and determination are just something else on their own basis, when the going gets tough he will run himself dry just to keep pushing on and persevering. He isn't one to let others push him around and with that being said Addie despises others pushing people around and will often shamelessly speak his mind when he encounters anything of the sorts. He is pretty rebellious and defiant along with persistent when it comes to his right to make up his own mind. When it comes to freedom of his thoughts and actions, Addie believes that he should never have to demand to get that and that that freedom should be respected since everyone is their own person. Whenever someone attempts to take that right from his grip he will make sure to quickly shut that down.

Addie is exceptionally creative, original, and possesses a touch of what society likes to call unnatural and societal rejection. His approach to problems is unique and he possesses the strength and courage to wander from the beaten path. He is pretty carefree of what others think of him due to his high sense of self-confidence though he strays away from the arrogance that tends to follow with that. Most people that know him personally without a doubt know that Addie is a major sassy shameless diva. Despite all of this his life is not a fairytale and struggles are a constant thing for him what with his array of mental health issues. His meds make him feel like a zombie and it's a constant struggle to find a healthy balance in his life. Addie has found that putting his strength in the things he enjoys such as music, lacrosse, volleyball, adventuring, late-night drives and or adventures, skating, writing, playing around with songs on one of his guitars, teaching lessons to newbie guitar players, and his friends really have helped him with his struggles in life. Along with that he also does have a strange knack for breaking gender norms.

APPEARANCE: Addie was born with something called poliosis which is where one who is born with it or develops it has a decreased level or completely lacks melanin which is the substance that gives hair color. With that being said Addie completely lacks it so his hair is naturally frosty white but due to his family's toxic religion, Addie hates the color white since it means purity in the religion so he dyes it whatever color he wants which is generally black but he has done colorful colors. He stands at 5′ 10″ which is on the taller side but for sure not as tall as the people that can tower over him. His hair is genuinely on the longer side in the front with the back cutting off into a buzz that goes around his whole head meaning that even under the longer part he does have his hair buzzed. His longer parts are all black but the buzzed parts are red. His facial features are naturally stern and serious which is off-putting to how he is. Along with poliosis, he has heterochromia iridium which is where the iris in one's eyes are different colors. For Addie one of his eyes is grey and the other is green. Addie is rarely ever seen in clothes that stray from the darkened colors he loves like black, grey, and red. He is a big jacket person and is almost always seen in jackets and sweatshirts however he does wear t-shirts which do show that his arms are in a muscled frame. The majority of his t-shirts have the sleeve cut off and the arm silts wide and open which is more known as a tank top but that is how he lies it. He is a big black skinny jean person ripped or not. He does also have an array of clothes that are considered feminine since he crosses the gender norms whenever he wants. As for his nails, Addie either always has them painted black or red there is no exception.

BRIEF HISTORY: Being born into a heavily religious family was for sure not easy for Addie Arcane especially since his parents forced religion on all his siblings and Addie was the last. You see Addie's name isn't actually Addie, it used to be Noah since his parents believed it was a good Christian boy name because 'Noah' had to have a gendered name and didn't have the power to chose his own. Whatever way his parents could they would drown him in religion whether it was church, baptism, Sunday school, youth group, and whatever else they could find. Addie just couldn't catch a break and he knew his siblings were miserable with it too. Addie was often called a living Angel due to his white hair that 'signified' purity. He hated it so much but he was virtually defenseless against their extremes. He even began learning guitar against his will. His parents wanted him to be in the church band when he got older so they forced him into guitar lessons. He started out with rhythm guitar but as he got more advanced with that moved to Lead guitar where like with rhythm guitar he aced it.

Addie knew it was going to happen, he mastered guitar but the things that came after broke his spirit. Just when he was beginning to love guitar he was accepted into the Chruch band where he was forced to play music he hated. He had just begun finding himself at the time and was coming to terms with who he was but that one event screwed him over. After this continuous belief of never getting to be the person he wanted to be Addie broke, he finally rebelled. He completely cut off his parents from controlling him and began listening to the music he wanted, dressing how he wanted, styling his hair the way he wanted, and just being the person he wanted to be all together. He also eventually came to terms with his is pansexuality and changed his name that represents the control his parent had over him to Addie. His parents didn't approve and treated their son 'Noah' like some monster who could be shaped into the perfect man with some help. It truthfully hurts but Addie does his best to shut it out.

GRADE: Junior
MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Addie loves songs that fall under the Alternative, Rock, Emo, pop-punk and punk genres. He doesn't really listen to on artist as there is a whole array of artist and bands songs that he listens to but there are select artist and bands he does tend to love such as My Chemical Romance, Falling in Reverse, All Time Low, All Time Low, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Black Veil Brides, The All-American Rejects, Yellow Card, The Used, and Mayday Parade. Otherwise, all the other songs he listens to have all different artists or bands with some recurring only a few times.
EXTRA TALENTS: Addie has a unique talent with lyric writing where he always goes far off from the average beaten path that most lyric writers tend to follow sure he can't sing the best and is better as a backup vocal but he still loves it, He can also create his own tunes and lines for his guitars, Writing in general, and Sketching

Likes: Nighttime (really just Darkness in general), black, red, grey, adventuring, His Fender Jaguar and Gibson SG, Skating, Sketching, binge-watching, lacrosse, volleyball, of course-music, friend, and breaking gender norms

Dislikes: Religion, being told what to do/controlled, the color white, his parents, people who insist on pushing people around, school, arrogance, math, and science class,

    NAME
    Vincent Theodore Beckett
    AGE
    16
    INSTRUMENT
Bass Guitar, capable of playing lead or rhythm as well
    PERSONALITY
Publicly, Vincent comes off as confident and charming, like he always knows exactly what to say. He always seems to have something prepared, never lost for words. The truth is, he just knows how to play people. A lifetime surrounded by the rich and famous has taught him how to play to what people want and expect from him. He could chat about stocks, business practices, politics, or religion for hours and not care one bit for what he or the other person says.

The genuine Vincent is much more goofy than his professional persona, joking around and teasing those he feels close to freely. He can be childish, and may hold a ridiculous grudge for a long time or forget about whatever was bothering him ten minutes later because something else caught his attention. He's wild, goofy, and chaotic; the friend who disappears chasing an ice cream truck a block and comes back with enough for everyone.

But at his very core, Vincent is still that hurt young boy who lost the only person in the world he had truly loved. When he's feeling particularly beaten down, he withdrawals within himself like a sad little boy hiding away in his room.

Ever since the car accident, Vincent has felt uncomfortable being in a vehicle he is not in control of. He will generally insist on driving or take his bike instead.
    APPEARANCE
Vincent stands relatively tall at 6’1” with his father's jet black hair and mother’s chocolate brown eyes. Thanks to the countless hours spent working on cars and motorcycles he is also fairly muscular. His hands and arms have several visible scars from places he's hurt himself while working, and a decently large scar from the accident runs from his left shoulder to his chest. He usually wears either jeans, dark t-shirts or button up shirts, and a denim or leather jacket.
    BRIEF HISTORY
Vincent Theodore Beckett, the son of fashion mogul Jeffery Beckett and his wife Melody Beckett-West, grew up in a nice suburban neighborhood full of other well-off families. His Father was well known in the fashion industry, and his mother was the daughter of an actor named Franklin West. Because of his family's position, he was often taken to social functions full of stuck up rich people. He learned what was expected of him, how to act around people like them, and how to keep them happy.

His Father loved the life he lived, a life of luxury and renown. He was a socialite, someone who belonged amongst those rich and famous snobs. They were his people, and he expected Vincent to make a good impression whenever he met them. Jeffery taught his son how to behave, proper manners and all the rules one had to be aware of to be a prominent and successful businessman.

His mother on the other hand, she never quite fit in at the social functions. She mostly kept quiet and stayed by her husband’s side when they went out together. Melody was creative, musical, and wild. She rode a Harley -Davidson motorcycle, went to punk shows, and went skydiving for fun. Some of Vincent's most prominent memories are of long drives with Subhumans blasting from the radio and being taken for rides on his mother’s Harley-Davidson Fatboy.

It was a week before Vincent's twelfth birthday, while he and his mother were in his father's car on their way to Vincent’s school. His father wasn’t with them so his mother was able to play her own music. Sometimes in life there are strange little coincidences, things that just happen to line up. The song “I Saw Your Mommy” By Suicidal Tendencies had just begun when the Nissan slammed into the driver side of their Toyota. The other driver had decided to run the Red light, not realizing Melody was coming into the intersection. She was dead even before their car came to a stop on the side of the road. A fireman was able to get Vincent out of the car safely and he was rushed to the hospital. A large gash ran down from his left shoulder, a scar that would never go away.

Vincent received his Ibanez SR870 bass guitar for his twelfth birthday, he had been begging his parents to buy him one for months. His father signed him up for lessons, the music helped take the boy's mind off of things. For the first four months after the accident it seemed like all Vincent did was play his bass. He locked himself away in his room, refusing to come out for anything. He didn’t return to his normal self until another year and a half later. In that time, Vincent and his father moved to Jeffery's hometown of Recuerdo to be near his parents.

When he was 14 he began hanging out at a local auto shop, there he got to know a man named Wayne Ó Cahan. Wayne taught Vincent everything he knew about working on cars, skills Vince has since applied to working on motorcycles as well. When he turned 16, his mother's old Harley became his own. Riding his bike and playing his music are the two things that make Vincent feel free and happy more than anything else.
    GRADE
    Sophomore
    MUSICAL INFLUENCES
Vincent has been influenced by a range of musicians through the ages. From oldies such as Elvis Presely, Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Lewis, to more modern artists such as The Vandals, Suicidal Tendencies, and Subhumans. He fondly remembers long car trips with his mother, punk-rock bands blasting from the speakers. However, The song “I Saw Your Mommy" By Suicidal Tendencies is one song he cannot listen to without feeling anxious and deeply disturbed.
    EXTRA TALENTS
Mechanical knowledge, Connections in the fashion industry through his father, knowledge of business practices, works well at social functions
    Likes
Motorcycles, Classic Cars, Vintage Things, 1950-1970, 50s, 60s, and 70s Dancing, Working with his Hands, His Ibanez SR870 Bass Guitar, Playing Guitar, Singing (even though he's awful)

NAME: Rahat C. 'RC' Mahammed

AGE: 18

INSTRUMENT: Rhythm Guitar, though he can play other types of string instruments if need be

PERSONALITY: RC, in short, is a confident, snarky smart-ass with a sarcastic and carefree attitude that allows him to do and say pretty much anything with gusto. On more than one occasion he's skipped school by standing up in his class and just walking out the door. His sarcasm is pretty biting towards people he dislikes but pretty harmless to anyone else. For people he actually likes, it's almost friendly in a way. He has the package deal too, so his snark comes with a massive amount of disrespect aimed towards anyone he doesn't like. For example, authority figures. His complete lack of respect for authority stems from some very personal letdowns from role models in his life.

While RC's not an anti-social guy, he isn't very social either. He doesn't initiate a conversation with anyone new, doesn't seek anyone out, and doesn't tone down his usual personality from the start. If you start talking to him and you're fine with his snark and his sense of comedic timing, then the two of you will go together swimmingly. Once you get to know him, you'll also find that he's a pretty sweet, sentimental guy who'd be the first to drive you to the airport or help you study. Don't say thanks though, he doesn't know how to handle gratitude while keeping up his 'rebel' persona.

Although he hates too much attention, he performs exceptionally well in front of the spotlight as well. He's not a showoff and he doesn't bother with anything special for his audience, he just does as he normally does. He's found that it's a very effective tactic when dealing with crowds. He's also not very dedicated to school, at all. If he put in more effort, he could manage better grades easily, but he doesn't try to at all. He used to be the kind of energetic, bubbly little Freshman that could blow your ear off with how great today is, who never got a grade lower than a B, who was always on his best behavior, but he's long since grown out of that. Sometimes, just sometimes, his old self shines through.

APPEARANCE: At 5'8, RC stands a few inches taller than most his age with a frame on the leaner side. His complexion is lightly tanned, which blends with his naturally black, curly hair. He used to grow out his hair longer than was strictly normal, but he lost the habit after his Freshman year and keeps it short. Smiles come easy for him, but he rarely has the stuff to give a bright, shining smile to unless he's amused by something. Other than that, he usually wears jeans, boots, hoodies, T-shirts, and a pair of headphones. Sometimes he wears band shirts, sometimes he wears flannel, sometimes he wears jackets, sometimes he wears a bright T-shirt just to spice things up, but the headphones are always a constant. They can always be found wrapped around his neck.

BRIEF HISTORY: RC was born as an only child to a middle-class couple, his dad being a technician while his mother was an officer. Before he settled down with his mom, his dad used to work as a roadie for various bands across the states. Growing up, RC used to hound his dad into telling him stories about his time as a roadie relentlessly. What bands did he work for, what was it like, did he do anything cool, the usual things a kid would ask. He found himself absolutely fascinated by the work, and his dad was happy to indulge his curiosity.

RC and his dad Amir, an Arab American, were very close when he was growing up. He got him into Baseball, bought him his first guitar and taught him how to play it, and came to every baseball game and school concert he had. He even taught him how to edit his own music videos when he was fourteen after much, much begging.

Then his dad began to notice how RC looked nothing like him. They had different eyes, different facial structures, different hair, different skin tones, they just had no similarities a father and son would have. One thing led to another, another thing led to a paternity test, and surprise surprise, him and his dad didn't share a drop of blood. Their relationship soured quickly afterward, with both parties saying some pretty hurtful things to each other and RC hoping to never have to talk to the guy again if he could help it. His mom and his dad got a divorce soon after and his mom got full custody of him. The whole ordeal affected him in a big way. He wasn't a go-lucky, overly friendly fifteen-year-old anymore. He dropped off the baseball team, his grades began slipping, and he doubled down on learning music to distract himself. Whenever he zoned out playing his guitar or working tirelessly to edit a video, he felt more at peace than he ever had before.

GRADE: Senior

MUSICAL INFLUENCES: A mixture of classic bands and lesser-known, weirder groups make up RC's influences. He doesn't really have a specific genre he mains, he just takes inspiration from music created by Elton John, The Beatles, Tame Impala, and Tally Hall.

EXTRA TALENTS: Has experience using soundboards and editing videos, has a driver's license, and can play a number of string instruments such as a violin, banjo, ukulele, and electric guitar.

LIKES: Playing guitar, editing music, Baseball, shooter and strategy games, horror movies, Lord of The Rings (Secretly and shamefully), zombies, The Beatles, history class (Again, secretly), and painting his locker.

DISLIKES: Horror movies, his singing, main-stream pop, his dad, and school.
