Demon Lord Ephelina trying to stop Zriss: "Put that ceremonial dagger down. No one has to die. I don't want to have to command you to stop."
Also summoned demons and stuff that my character summons are all either cute, overly friendly (or even psychotically friendly) or derpy looking (imagine a behemoth with a (•‿•) or a (●ω●) face). Despite the minions looks, they can still be pretty strong, they just aren't that belligerent.

Did i mention the land Crypt came from has never seen any magic or non-human races so he is very confused- the fact that Zriss can't cast a translation spell does not help with his lack of communication

While demons can make it to like 400 or 500 years old, most demons are brutally murdered by non-demons and sometimes other demons before their 200th birthday.

Well demons have been historically rightfully hated for constantly trying to conquer and dominate the non-demon races. Only exceptions are demons who do not follow the demon god
Kadra or demons under a benevolent demon lord like Ephelina. So naturally, humans, elves and what not wanna often kill demons that reveal themselves as demons and voice their intention of domination.

Interesting bit of lore there, Demon Lord Tante. Humans are willing to forgive Demons that renounce their God and integrate into human society? I find that extremely interesting.

No most don't, but humans often don't know the difference between ogres and demons and just straight up assume the demons are ogres because demons are so rare. So a demon has to actually declare they are a demon to get lynched. Or it could just be an ogre with a death wish.

Okay, one last question: how do you feel about a sort of court jester type who'd be somewhat more of a friend towards the demon king, rather than just an average follower? Like, he's still a follower and everything, but he's not as devout or insanely respectful towards Ephelina like, say, a character like Zriss?

It would be fine to have a familiar relationship like that towards demon lord Ephelina. They're benevolent and not authoritarian. It's not like Ephelina will punish followers for slights.
