Long ago, on the planet Epimetheus, the great "god" known as Epimetheus deposited several tribes of genetically augmented humans onto the planet Pandora. Almost identical to Earth, Pandora is much more primitive, with the tribes only using the primitive weapons.
Currently, Pandora is engaged in a World War, and has been for many years. You are from one of the many tribes, but you have decided to travel to the new settlement, known as "Murus", famous for being a place of equality, despite or due to its incredibly small size.
If you are dissatisfied with the current options, I'm hoping that people will be able to make up new "races" of extremely augmented humans for me to add to the overview list:
1) Favonae: Humans genetically engineered to deal with hotter areas, along with dragon and Heisslander genes. They’re extremely resistant to heat, nearing the resistance a Heisslander would have. Their bodies are covered in brown scales that turn red-orange whenever their bodies heat up. They’re capable of spitting balls of flame out of their mouths. They usually only wear pants, and have bat-like wings growing out of their backs; they’re capable of temporary sustained flight. Their ears have sharp tips, and their teeth are sharp as knives; they have red eyes. They are a nomadic faction that travels from volcano to volcano around the planet of Pandora.
2) Varinnae: Humans genetically engineered for strength and endurance. A member of the Varinnae faction has skin covered in a rocky layer. They have the strength of twenty humans. They set up small settlements throughout the mountainous areas of Pandora.
3) Alvaeones: Humans genetically engineered for long-term flight and speed; their bones are hollower than normal and they have long wings growing under their arms, similar to those of a pterodactyl. They have feathers in place of hair, and have long eagle-like beaks on their mouths.
4) Helvetii: Humans engineered to manipulate and produce electricity; they are all albino, with many red sacs along their bodies that act as bioelectric batteries for them to produce electric fields and jolts to use for combat.
5) Bastarnae: Humans engineered for speed; they are covered in soft fur of varying colors, their legs have immense strength, and they are capable of running at over ten times the speed of basic human when they lower themselves to quadruped level. Their fingers and toes have sharp claws, and they have tails for improved balance. They have the ears of wolves and incredibly powerful senses of smell.
Murus is a forested area, where anyone willing to work will be allowed to live in peace...although, there are always snakes in the grass somewhere, and the great God may have a part to play in His world now....
