Fantasy World of Malohkyintae - Demon Kingdom! (OPEN)

RandomAngel09

Chu chu~

Malohkyintae was a peaceful planet, much like earth. Humans lived gracefully among other species, and prospered. Yet demons were thrown out, despite everyone else being happy. They were different enough to scare the peaceful races, and get them cast down to the underworld. The demons, scared and confused, sat in their newly obtained home and prison for days. Weeks. Months. Confusion turns to sadness, and rather quickly, into anger. After decades, they grew into a rather powerful monarchy. Powerful enough to escape back into Malohkyintae. The fought, creating the largest war in the name of history in the world today. The War of Clans. It last a year and a half, or so that's what history says. It's been a good few centuries. And the same demons the humans cast out, well, they became mightily victorious. And to this day, live happily in the same monarchy their ancestors started before the war, only the bloodline living on in the world of Malohkyintae in the largest kingdom come to be known of the lands. Oriath. Elves, Dwarves, Faeries, and what's left of the human kind of been banished to their own lands, as was part of the compromise to end the war. They are still not welcomed in any demon land, which takes up most of the world, and punishment will either be light or heavy. The royal family of demons run strong, and the demon rebellion yet grows, taking refuge in neighboring lands of the Elves, Dwarves, and Fae.

Is this the end of these tales, or is it only the beginning?

Roleplay Information:

Species to Choose From (But is not limited to):
NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW THE SPECIES DESCRIPTIONS BELOW!

Species who lost the War:

Elves: Pointy eared magic users. They are great healers and have great magics, usually element based. They are often tall and travel alone, only going in groups if they are leaving their home country of Ecrye. They usually consist of pale skinned and pale haired folk, and offer the most aid to any human who asks.

Faerie: The magic using Faerie are different from the small winged Fairy. They live in small groups scattered across the lands, standing tall above them. The shortest Faerie known was 5'7, the tallest 7'8. The Fae have pointed ears and skin tones ranging from red to blue to grey. Their eyes are almost always one solid color, minus the rare ones who have normal pupils. They don't tend walk, they hover around. Both male and female have long hair, usually tied into one long braid. The only reason they despised demons was because they would DESTORY any fae camp from anywhere and everywhere.

Dwarves: Just like most stories from Earth, they are usually small midgets who live in the planet's cave dwellings (Advanced features and home features resting inside.). These tan skinned men and women are the most like humans, wearing tattoos and scars proudly. The tallest recorded Dwarf in past history was 5'2. They usually use two-handed weapons, having no able knowledge or able uses of magic.

Rebellion: The rebellion consists of young Demons who disagree with the monarchy, taking refuge with the few helpful Dwarves and Fae. The Elves usually refuse them, they don't trust them. They consist of many types of demons (see below). They are likely to join the hunters.

Species who won the War:

Dragon: These half-man half-dragon creatures helped fight along side the Demons. They look as ordinary as any normal human, except they can mind link each other and have a long trail of scales on either their legs. arms, or back. They can transform into a dragon at any given time. Their eyes are usually bright.

Gargoyle: These are "men" (Or women) made of stone who are near indestructible until they are cracked. They are very, very rare. They have small wings to fly, but they won't carry the Gargoyle very far. They are usually assigned to guard the royal family.

Demons: There are many types of demons, and you can choose to be any kind of demon you'd like. (And I mean ANY kind, and there are thousands.)

You can be a familiar to any Mage, Warlock, or Witch, whether it's a Demon, Elf, or Fae.

You can also be part of the demon royal family. It's first come first serve, place status in your character bio or sheet,

Character Sheet:
Name: Zyle
Age: 1k
Gender/Sexuality: Female
Species: Dragon
Bloodline: (Royal, high status, etc.) Doesn’t know her origins.
Appearance: Humaniod Form; Cocoa colored skin, bright blue eyes, long white hair. She stands about 6ft.
Hybrid Humaniod Form; Only noticeable differences in her Hybrid form would be her ‘claws’ fingernails extended and hardened, on her hands and feet. Her skin would cover in scales in some areas, like patches. And the skeleton wings protruding from her back. Can’t be used for actual flight, but can be good as a natural weapon. Also, helps her scale walls, the ends sharp enough too dig into most materials.
Dragon Form; see picture.
Personality: Firey (pun intended) too say the least. Outgoing, in your face type of woman. She speaks her mind without a thought for others feelings or consequences of her words. Slow too trust, but once she befriends you, you’ll have an ally forever, until you betray her. As outgoing as she is, she is even more brutal.

Backstory: Abandoned at birth, for whatever reason. Zyle doesn’t know her origins or her bloodline. All she knows is her species, how too shift and use her natural abilities. She has been told more than once her coloring was rare, but that’s about as much as she knows. She gave up years ago trying too find out where she belongs, and decided too make her own way. Raised by mercenaries, she set out on her own once she was of age, being a sword for hire. Her loyalties can be bought, and sold too the highest bidder. Murder, stealing, spy work. She has been hired too do it all, it seems. Her ultimate goal is to serve the Royal Family. Thinking securing a spot with them will secure her comforts for the rest of her long life. And just maybe, though she holds no delusions, she can find it just where the hell she came from......
Other: Shifting forms is painful for her. Due too her lack in training from one of her kind, she doesn’t know why it hurts too shift. Multiple shifts in a short span of time can cause her too ‘black out’ meaning she’ll automatically shift into her Dragon form, falling into a deep sleep for a few days too recover. When she is in her full out Dragon form, she is more beast in mind and instincts. She can only communicate with others of her kind telepathically, with others she can send emotions. Outside of her mind, she can only speak a few words in her Dragon form. She of course can spew fire, in her Dragon and Hybrid form. In her Humaniod Form her senses are heightened. Bloodline: Hunter
Appearance:
woman-warrior-clipart-female-soldier-20.jpg

Personality: Due to her having to grow up fast, Kiera hunts a lot since she had made it her life. She has no time for extra things and isn't interested in anything but avenging her family. Even though she wasn't around when the war had started, it was because of the war that she believes made her who she is.
Backstory:
Due to the war, Kiera's family had went into hiding. The demons had won and they were going crazy with the big victory. People were being purged left and right making it unsafe for anyone to do anything for quite a long time. After a month or so after Kiera had turned 13, food had become scarce once again and people were becoming irritable. There wasn't much to do but to take the risk like they had done countless times. A group of men were designated to go get food and Kiera's father was one of them. It didn't take long before a group of demons had shown up. They fought long and hard, but the demons were stronger. Blood had stained the ground as the men lay lifeless.
Kiera had watched with horror. Why now? This had never happened before. As she saw her father's corpse fall, she had impulsively screamed out of anger and sorrow.
After that, Kiera had blamed herself for giving herself away. For showing where a clan of humans were hiding. Luckily a hunter had came and helped her to make her into a killing machine.

*Is Mira Matsui's Twin Brother*

Max.jpg

Mira sat on the grass underneath a dark ash tree, her feet sitting just next to the small one foot creek that separated the demon lands from the other lands. Her bright and curious gaze was cast to the trees on the other side of the border, a deep blue dagger sitting loosely in one hand. She raised her other hand up in front of her face, studying the smooth features of her grey skin.
"Princess Mira, you should have a guard accompany you on patrol." She sighed as the words escaped her lips as she mimicked what she was told before leaving the protective walls of the great kingdom of Oriath.
"Fuck that." She muttered. "No one ever passes the borders anymore anyway, I never get a good fight anymore." She raised up her hand with the dagger, moving her wrist back before flinging it forward, releasing the small weapon. It flew over the border line and into another ash tree, a crack slightly moving up the wood. A voice echoed in her mind and her mind only, which caused her features to shift from an expression of boredom to one of annoyance.
"Mara, not now. I'll go raid a camp later when I can convince Max to go with." She spoke to herself, closing her orange eyes. One of her hands raised and motioned as if she was telling an invisible person to stop pestering her.

Max splashed in the creek's water. He knew he wasn't technically supposed to, but the water was nice that day. He turned when he heard the thunk of a weapon in wood, "Mira, stop throwing your knives into trees, that makes them dull," he chided. When Mira started talking about raiding camps, Max sighed, "I get you wanna go raid a camp, but we aren't supposed to," Max reminded her. He sighed and lay in the grass, the soft breeze playing with his hair. Max felt the sunlight warming up his skin and patted his side, making sure his own dagger was still in its sheath. When he assure himself it was there, he stretched his arms up, feet still in the gentle creek. Border patrol was boring these days. There wasn't much to do anymore. The thought that maybe it would be okay to raid a camp crossed his mind, but he quickly shooed it away. It might be boring, but he shouldn't go breaking the rules. Max frowned, playing with the cuffs of his cloak.

Muttering could be heard as Zyle went through her things. Checking items off of her mental list.
“Water skin.... check”
“Travel rations.....low but available” She rolled her bright eyes, noting that she needed too find food, and quickly. Though she was pretty much sick of the mixture of nuts and dried meat she bought in the last market she been through. She needed fresh meat. She needed too hunt! But that would have too wait, shifting into her Dragon form was out of the question for the time being. She was still exhausted from her last job, which caused her too shift more than 3 times in 2 days. Anymore, and she’ll pass out. And that wouldn’t do.

“I’ll just have too hunt in this form” Not that she wasn’t a skilled hunter in any form, her Dragon form made things easier, the prey practically ran into her claws. This form would have too do, or wait until she reached her destination and buy fresh meat in the market. Though it wasn’t actually the type of fresh she wanted, needed. Sighing, she finished checking the rest of her items. Bed rolls, a few daggers, her coins and some spare clothing items.

“Everything is here.” Hoisting the bag on her back, she took a quick swing of water before setting down the beaten path she was following. Oriath loomed in the distance, the peak of the tallest buildings watching all who came down the path over the high walls that surrounds it. That was her destination, within it walls lived the Royal Family, her ultimate goal... All her hard work done over the years too make a name for herself, every trail and tribulation she had faced.... It all came down too this family. A smirk curved her full lips, she trudge on nearing the border walls.

Mira perked up at Max's voice, her gaze drifting over to his form.
"I know we aren't supposed to, but do you think Mara will shut up if we don't? Besides, they're easy enough to loot and run."
She looked up at the sky, the ends of her horns grazing the tree behind her.
"We should probably head back to Oriath, we can raid a camp tonight." Her eyes shifted to red, Mara taking control of Mira's mind for a few moments. "Unless you're actually keen on not going. I'd go alone then, but I thought us twins were supposed to always stick together." She shook her head, Mira returning to normal. Her eyes orange again.
"Let's just go home for now." She stood up, using her pale hands to smooth out the shorter skirt of her dress. The princess moved over to Max, placing a hand on his shoulder as she prepared to help him back to the kingdom.
"Come on, lets not make the guards worry." She chuckled, really not caring if they worried at all. She was just tired of sitting in the quiet forest as they had been for hours. Though they were royalty, Mira never cared to act like it. She was loud and mean, and she had threatened Max countless times in almost every place you could imagine. Forest, town square, Fae camps, some Elven village she could barely remember, his room, her room, throne room... It goes on. She looked at the sky again, smiling as she poked her twins face before returning to her stance to help him.

Max flinched back when his face was poked. So she was pulling that card. He sighed and let Mira help him. Max frowned, "Okay. Let's go," he mumbled. He felt guilty now, her trick was working. Max brushed the hair out of his face. He followed Mira, tripping over a stray rock and tree root from time to time. He thought over what she had said, her words ingrained in his head. She was right, they did do almost everything together. Also, he couldn't let her go alone. Max sighed, he couldn't believe he was going to say this, "Fine."

"Sweet!" Mira chided, guiding her brother around trees or that one huge boulder that just happens to be in the path.
"If you trip again I might kill you this time." She teased, nudging Max a bit with her elbow. "Why did we go to the furthest border again?"
She sighed, clicking her tongue. The two soon passed a watchtower, and the great wall of Oriath loomed ahead, the front gate shining in silver.
"Hey Max, should I scream at the guards out front again? For no reason?" She giggled. "Should I? Should I, should I?"
Her mood changed rather often, which confused most people.
They reached the path leading to the gate. "Hurry and answer me!" She laughed, brushing her hair out of her face with her free hand.
'I wonder how Max puts up with me.' She thought to herself.

Name: Ashley Haruko Matsui
Age: 18
Gender/Sexuality: Female
Species: Nightmare Demon (?) ( That's the only thing I could think of. )
Bloodline: Royal, Eldest Princess
Appearance: Ashley have a shoulder-length river of silver hair, most of the time, it is slightly messy. She have round emerald eyes with joy that seems to have faded away. Her skin was pale like winter snow, with a moderate amount of blushing on her round cheeks. Her body is very thin, as if something has been draining away her strength and energy.
Personality: She is very shy and timid, due to not socializing very often. Ashley have a creative and brilliant mind, she usually spend time designing things on her sketchbook. She hated her weaker side, sensitive and foolish, so she tried to hide it under her mask.
Abilities: Ashley can summon demons from either her or her victim's nightmare to aid her in battle. She can also fuses with the demon for better control and closer range. She can also sacrifice the demon ( or fuses them together ) to create a weapon. Even though she is deaf, she have very good eyesight. ( Those stuff she can do can only be access with full stamina.)
Disability: Ashley was born with poor hearing. At the age of 11, her condition worsen, she can barely heard anyone or anything. And then, at the age of 14, she become deaf.

( Some of this might sound a little too OP, soooo... )

Max sighed, a small smile resting on his lips, "Sure, it's always funny when that happens," he grinned. Hey, a bit of mischief was fine once in a while. He brushed his hair out of his face again and tugged the hood of his cloak down a bit. Max looked down to hide his smile from the guards. The air felt different now, more like home. Max wondered how he managed Mira. Sure, Mira could be a handful sometimes, but she was family. Also, she was kinda his twin, so he didn't have much of a choice. Max waited, listening for the commotion that was bound to happen.

Mira smiled wide, patting her brothers shoulder. She quickly changed her features to show a look of anger as they neared the gates of the main kingdom. She left her brothers side, walking ahead of him.
"Hey! Whoever's stationed at the gate!" Mira shouted. The guards looked at her confused before realizing who she was.
"Why the hell weren't you answering my calls?" She shouted again.

"Princess! We didn't hear any calls, our deepest apologies!" He stated, sweat lining his forehead. Angry Mira was not a good Mira and they knew that.

"Bull! I was screaming at the top of my lungs! How did you not! Hear! Me!" She screamed as she neared them, the guards backing up and stuttering at her. She kept shouting random angry things at them, suppressing her laughs as long as she could. They absolutely hated angering her, and it sure as hell seemed like they did. Lets just say a guard was executed after pissing her off a few years ago.
Mira started laughing, stopping her angry cries.
"I'm just kidding, guys. You're cool." She returned to Max, giggling.
"I think they thought I was gonna kill 'em!" She patted his shoulder.

"I almost thought the same thing," Max giggled, "I wish I could've seen their faces," Max laughed. He followed her again, hearing the guard's trembling in their armor. He suppressed a laugh, man they were more faint-hearted than himself. That was saying something. He pushed his hood back to its original position, hair falling into his face. He didn't bother brushing it out of his face this time.

Belvedere Graham
After traveling for some time, Belvedere had came across a town that looked well populated. The were rows of small market hutches that were selling different things. As he was passing a few meat hutches, he had to grimace due to
Elves being vegetarian. However, that didn't stop him from hunting for coin.

Eventually the male had came across a human hunter knowing he was going to get some form of heckling. Pathetic humans. In his hand, he showed three rabbit pelts. "How much do you want for them? They're skinned and the meat is in the sack on my back. You can have both for a price." Belvedere's low voice resounded.

The man took the pelts and inspected them, amazed by the skill. He then looked at the elf, trying to find out who he was but the only thing he had recognized was the crest. Just that alone made him smirk. "I wouldn't have expected anything less from an elf."

Belvedere rolled his eyes, unimpressed. "Do you want them or not? I don't have time for your foolish games."

The man chuckled. "I'm hurt that you aren't entertained." He took the pelts and put them under the desk. "I'll take the meat too."

Belvedere food the satchel off and handed it to him as well. The man pulled out a small sack of coin in which Belvedere has taken to look through. It looked about right. With a nod, he walked further into the crowded areas to search for items for his travels.

Kiera Grant
Sitting at a bar, the female kicked back a few beers and sighed. It was about that time to start heading out. She was not on by a few guys, but a stern blow to the head was convincing enough.

With that, she tipped the bartender and had left. Eventually, Kiera ended up at her friend Nikki's house who was her witch friend. She entered and sat at the table with her head down. "Long day?" She heard a giggle.

When Kiera looked up, she saw a long purple haired female with a pointy witch hat, small black dress with a belt, striped stockings, and pointy shoes. Obviously the poor girl doesn't like to conceal who she really was. "When isn't it? There's nothing to do."

With a sigh,Nikki shook her head and sat down across her with a cup of hit tea. Suddenly, a large smirk came across her face and that made Kiera weary. "What....?"

"I think it's time to go hunting." Nikki song with enjoyment and that was when Kiera began to smile as well.

Mira kept giggling for practically no reason as her and her brother wove through the streets. As they passed by on the paved roads the citizens would back away and create wide paths for the royal twins to pass through.
"Raiding the camp soon!" Mira chimed, clapping her hands together. "I wonder if Ashley will tag along! Imma ask her when we get home!"
She waved her hands back and forth for literally no reason.
"Fae camp? Elven camp? Oh! One of those small elf villages? Maybe a dwarve's cave! Those are hard to find though... Mara, what are we gonna go for later?" She spoke to herself and to her split personal.

Finally, she reached the stone wall, tilting her head back, she took in its great presence. It stretched high into the sky, almost daring someone too attempt too scale its height. She scoffed, of course she could in her Hybrid or Dragon form, no problem. But, she decided, it wouldn’t do well too make such a dramatic entrance. The guards would shackle her into the deepest, darkest cell they had. Better too enter normally, like she had a bit of sense about her. Wouldn’t wanna ruin her stay before it even began! She turned on her heels, heading for the nearest guard tower and gate.

“HO THERE!” She called, cupping her hands around her mouth. “GREETINGS! The name is Zyle! And I request entry into Oriath!” She spread her arms out, her golden bands clinked cheerfully on her arms. She had changed before she got too close. She wore a simple dress, white in color with spilts up the sides showing of her long legs. Simple sandals were her footwear, they tied up around mid-calf. Her long white hair was pulled in a high ponytail on top of her head. Besides the gold bands on her arms, she wore a knitted rope around her neck, with a pouch enclosed in one of the knots. She looked simple enough.

A sweating guard glanced down at her, eyes narrowing with suspicion.

“And your business here, woman?” He asked, taking up a slightly defensive stance, hand on the hilt of his sword. There hasn’t been a breach for some time now, she briefly wondered at his behavior.

“I’m but a simple mercenary, come too see if I can’t earn a bit of coin here!” What she said was the truth, partially. But the guard face twisted with obvious dislike, and he spat in her direction.

“Come too stir up trouble have you? Not here! Not on my watch! All ya lot do is cause chaos and leave when the gettin’ good!” Fighting the urge to roll her eyes, she put on her best smile as she held out a few large coins.

“All I’m trying too do is earn some coins the only way I know how, honorable guard! I do more security work than anything.” This was a lie, but she would say whatever too get in. “I mean no harm. I promise too stay in line!” While she spoke, another guard pushed past the first one, squinting down at her. Recognition slowly dawned on his face, and she could smell the ripe stench of his fear. He leaned towards Guard #1, whispering in his ear. Guard #1 sputtered, and called out for the gate too be opened. In the few seconds it took for her too look at the gate and back too the tower, the guards were gone.

“Huh...” shrugging her shoulders, she pocketed her coins and walk through the gate. As she past, she felt the eyes of every guard on her back. And knew it wouldn’t take long before someone of worth knew of her presence.
