Personality: From the outside, Tomas doesn't seem all that remarkable. Upon first glance, one would assume that he was just an average student. After getting to know him a little better, they would think he was a typical nerd who does well in academics, is into tech, and is too invested in his future and interests to care about the current trends or how the world views him. Only after delving deeper would people see the real him. He isn't radically different among people he trusts or anything and still has the same calm demeanor, but you'll hear him crack a joke here and make a quip there. He'll open up to you more about his interests, like what games he likes and why, why he thought that movie that just came out was super overhyped, and even about the boys he likes. Even as an acquaintance, if you vented to him he would have listened and sympathized, but as a friend he wouldn't feel awkward about offering you some comfort. Tomas would even vent to you about everything that is going wrong in his own life.

Well, mostly everything. Even to the people he trusts the most, he doesn't mention how disgusted he feels when he sees himself in the mirror, or how he thinks he looks bloated and practically deformed without a shirt on. People around him will quickly learn that he loves food and has quite an appetite, but he won't reveal how ashamed he feels after eating, or what he does to make up for it. He's happy to exercise with friends and stops at a reasonable point when around them, but later, when he's alone, he makes sure to break even more of a sweat for much longer. If one somehow reaches this deep into his mind, they would find that the assumption about him not caring what others think isn't true at all, but rather he feels almost every gaze heavily weighing down on him, and every glance as he's walking by cuts deep. He fears people notice his clothes don't fit right, or his nose is slightly disfigured, or some other physical flaw which he hasn't yet found.



Background: Tomas lived in Spain for part of his childhood, as his father met his mother while working abroad there for his company. He was a web developer and she was involved in design, so the two were a great fit in the workplace and coincidentally out of the workplace too. Tomas spent his younger years growing up in Spain and moved to America with his family around age 9. He became more Americanized as he grew up, but his mother made sure he retained some of his Spanish heritage. He took an interest in his parents' careers, and from his father he got his coding prowess while from his mother he got an eye for design, as well as his fashion sense. During his middle school years and into high school, along with academics he worked on his own projects in software and app development. He managed to put out a few games and apps by the age of 15, and despite none of them exactly changing the world, they were impressive enough to get a few downloads. Even now, he continues to improve his craft and puts out new works on the digital market every so often.

Background: Marnie was good at hiding that she was trans. She seemed like an average boy to all her peers while growing up... until she didn't. It may have come as a shock to most, even those who were fairly close to her, when she came out. She ended up losing friends, and her average social standing plummeted. She was the victim of bullying and harassment for a few months after, and although it never actually stopped, she learned how to brush off what people said and say some biting words back. She does her best to not let what people say or think affect her, but she isn't made of stone. She would rather die than let any of her tormentors know they were actually getting to her though.

Esme is in constant worry about her siblings and if they have everything they need,but also on the back burner she is worried about her future. She can't do much to change it right now.

Her parents are never around and when they are home they are sleeping, drunk, or punishing the kids for their grades. There is no in-between. Esme is like her siblings mother figure now. She almost had to drop out of school for missing a chunk of days.

the youngest is 7, her name is Lila. Her other sibling is 13, his name is Orlando.

Job

she works as a waitress at a cafe. She could leave and get a better job,but the cafe she works at gives her the hours she wants, feeds her for free, let's her take food home, and it doesn't cut into her school time as much.

She mainly has acquaintances,but nobody she gets close to no one or tries not to.

Future

She wants to be an actress..but she isn't sure if she can go through with it because of her family situation..she wants what best for her siblings.

  Markus is more of an introvert than an extrovert. He's not shy or quiet by no means, but he does like his alone time. He gets easily exhausted by social interactions and is sensitive to external stimuli like loud noises and sudden movements. Occasionally Markus likes to spend time with his friends, but he has noticed his social batteries run down quite fastly.
  
  Markus is likely to prioritize logic over emotions, hide his feelings, and see objectivity as more important than cooperation. He tends to follow his head more than his heart. Often making decisions that would make sense in the eyes of other's but hurt his own feelings. Markus is decisive, thorough and highly organized. He has a focus on structure, planning, and closure. He tends to have very strict plans instead of deciding on things at the moment.
  
  Markus can be quite stubborn. The facts are the facts, and he tends to resist any new idea that isn’t supported by them. This also makes it difficult to Markus admit if he was wrong. He's way too stubborn to change his plans even if he knows he would benefit from it. When questioned about his decisions, he gets defensive. Markus tends to be insensitive when defending himself.

He feels bad hurting someone when telling them they are wrong. He feels bad after misgendering his sister, even when he doesn’t agree with her. Overall the boy doesn't think of himself very kindly and talks to himself in a mean way in his mind. "Markus you damn idot, stop looking at that guy's butt." Markus is sensitive to stress. He's both success-driven and perfectionistic, always eager to improve.

  Childhood.

  Markus Brown was born into a middle class family as the youngest son. The family had already one son, Lukas, who was year older than his baby brother. Perhaps because of their small age gap, the boys got well along and Markus really looked up to Lukas. He wanted to be just like him in the future. The parents were quite the workaholics and the sibling duo was often taken care by their grandma.

  Preteen.

  Their grandma's beliefs were quite old fashioned, she sometimes said clearly racist stuff and wasn't very acceptive toward sexuality and gender minorities. Otherwise grandma was sweet and liked to spoil his grandsons. Grandma's comments made both of the siblings uncomfortable. Markus, because he had noticed having romantic interests in other males and Lukas for reasons Markus didn't know. But Markus didn't pay lot attention it. The two boys were as close as before.

  Teenage.

  When both siblings were teenagers, Lukas came out as transgendered person. She had always felt being in the wrong body, and was no ready to admit it to whole world. She changed her name to Marnie, and started to betray herself in more feminine way. It was a huge shock to Markus, who didn't now have a brother to look up. Their grandma didn't accept it all, their father was sceptic and mother supportive. However Marnie first introducing herself a MArnie was a big thing in their family. Their parents fought and their grandma basically disowned Marnie, refusinf to see the girl. Markus himself has difficulties accepting his brother's decision. They are not close anymore since Markus doesn't act respectfully towards his sister. Deep down they still care about eachothers.
